I love to eat vangyache bharit from here... It is always mouthwatering... Awesome taste... Quantity good... Quality good...
Nice food. Test is good. Bit spicey. Typical Khandeshi test. Go for Bharit {Baingan Bharta} , ShevBhaji. Awesome test. The owner is polite . Happy with the service. Take the parcel and enjoy the food at your home.
The best khandeshi home food I ever eat in the PCM area I liked it very much
Good khadeshi food sevbhaji is too good but if you order any 2 the greavy is same so think twice if you are ordering something
Food is really amazing. Nice place to visit with friends and family. Visited last week with my family and its a must visit place to experience great taste
Visited this place along with friends for a cheap good quality dinner. The food here was very tasty and a bit spicy. Masala bibde were good. Had panner bhurji, dal, techa, and shev bhaji (the reason we came here). Puri, bhakari were amazing.
I find it very ironic that there are so few maharashrian restaurants in PUNE, especially if you try to find on zomato. I am so happy that this small place is listed on zomato which made it accessible or else it is literally impossible to find this place.
There is no ambience here. Just a place to sit but dont judge the book by its cover, especially this one. It was one of the best shev bhaji that i tried so far. Their thecha is sublime and must try. I also ordered the big papad which was very interesting and even though it was fried it wasnt very oily. The chapatis are a bit uncooked but the bhakaris are perfect.
I know for sure that there are going to be many more outings to this place coz i am eagerly waiting to try their pitla, bharit, kalnyachi bhakar and soo much more !
There is just soo nuch that one can eat in one visit 😉
I don't know how many times i visited this place.. I don't know how many times i will still visit this place.. Though i don't like to visit same places again again but trust me this is the place has got the taste which actually compels me to get nostalgic about " maa k hath ka khana" . well not the place for ppl who want ambience but definitely must visit place for the assal khandeshi veg lover... Baingan ka bharta, sev bhaji, kalnachi bhakri, thecha, solkadhi are few things u must eat if u visit there...

First a big thank you and shout out to Ashtiw for suggesting this restaurant to me. This is a very small place at the most unlikely location for a restaurant. In-fact its location is ideal for a puncture shop and there is one auto repair garage just besides it. Anyways coming to the real thing the food. I tried their shev bhaji , kalan bhakri, matha, thecha and baigan bharta. And boy o boy what amazing taste and flavor the khandesh food is supposed to be hot and spicy but this one I must say is not just made hot (which is hardly a skill) but its flavorful and amazing in taste. The bhakri was perfectly done the thecha was awesome and so was the baigan bharta. All in all awesome food. The service is quick and and attentive. Another good thing about this place is I did not suffer from a bout of acidity inspite of eating such spicy food that only goes on to suggest the good quality of ingredients used.
Kudos to this restaurant and expect me and my friends to visit here many more times :)
What should I say about this as I belongs from khandesh this place is heavenly heaven.
Test is just the as you will get at any khaneshis house. Prices are very much less and having enough quantity too.
Service is quick. In short in all manners it is perfect place.
And I would suggest every one should once tries these dishes, specially Shev bhaji and bharit along with Bharki
The best place for authentic' khandeshi ' food!
On every Saturday they have daal-baati with 'vangyach bharit' ( baigan bharta) which is really awesome. Other impressive cuisines includes shev - bhaji , papad, various types of bhakris.
A must visit resto for khandeshi food lover.
Don't forget to order 'mathha'( buttermilk ) with dal bati.
There are certain restaurant which serve specialty from certain part of Maharashtra. Khandeshi Cuisine is famous for Shev Bhaji and Wangi Bharit. This place was recommended by a friend from Khandesh, who really likes the food and knows that I am big foodie.
If you get a recommendation from a person, who has born with the cuisine you just listen and visit the place. Found the place with Maps and was wondering with size of the place. It looked so small from outside. But there were more table.
You can order anything from the menu or go for special day menu.I pretty much ordered everything on the menu that was available. Quantity to cost ratio is good.
Preparation time is high, as everything is prepared fresh and made to order. Service is poor may be because of less man power but wait is worth.
Each dish I tried had distinct taste than I had tried in other Khandeshi Hotels. Wangi Bharit is recommended with Bajri Bhakri.
If you are khandeshi... Den U hav to visit dis place.... As a khandeshi, u don't need ambiance, music n all other stuff.... U need good company n goood food... This place has taste of khandesh bcoz the owner use to get all his raw stuff from Jalgaon and raver to maintain the taste...

“The place for real Kahndesh Veg food in Pune at very decent price”.
Got reference of Sangam from family friends belonging to Jamner/Jalgaon. It is located opposite to Indian Oil petrol pump on the road which connects Spicer Collage to old Sanghvi.
L shaped restaurant with kitchen at the entrance and family hall on the rear side. They have very basic furniture and environment very similar to a Khanawal. Onwned and run by by Pappu Mahajan, in my view it is one of the most authentic places in Pune for Veg Kahndesh food.
They have fixed menu for week for Thali but A La Carte is also available. Along with few common popular restaurant preparations; Khandeshi delicacies are served here. As per my understanding, all are authentic.
The portion sizes are relatively decent but not big and frankly, when you are eating this spicy and firy you don’t need it.
Hygiene and cleanliness levels are decent.
Decided to go for a decent coverage of the menu and ordered Thali of the day “Khandeshi Chutney and Bhakhi” @ Rs 60 as well as “Patodi Bhaji”@ Rs 70.
Also asked for “Baian Masala” @ Rs 60 and “Green Pe Masala”@ Rs 60.
Thali came with 2 bhakhris made up of dough from Jwar flour and Udad dal flour. The breads were relatively thicker but soft and brittle. They broke when folded. There was thin yellow Dal with tadka of curry leaves, portion of plain rice, onion and lemon accompanied by a portion of free flowing chutney made up of gram seeds, garlic, oil and chili. The taste and flavor was great.
Patodi Bhaji was in thin free flowing brown spicy and firy gravy. There were only a few Patodis. The taste was excellent.
Baigan Masala was also in brown gravy but consistency was thicker with respect to that of Patodi Bhaji. The gravy was having little sweet touch yet it was spicy and hot.
Green Pees masala gravy was also brown and further thicker. The preparation was decent but not very impressive.
All three gravies though were same in color but tasted different.
Overpowering flavor of garlic, chili and Khandeshi Masala were the key elements.
Must try place for Khandeshi Food enthusiasts.
** Though spent some time at hotel but it was a "take away"
You will get authentic khandeshi food here.. Thursday and Saturday Varan batti available for 120 rs..all khandeshi dishes are a available..

New types of dishes with unfamiliar names, it's veg but name suggests like non veg... Service is good and prompt... Most items are available which are mentioned in menu card... Variety in vegetables, fried and rosted papads are best... Awesome butter milk with fresh coriander...
