This is well known among all the Punekars. They serve amazing Maharashtrian snacks and also others.
My most favorite over there is Kothimbir Wadi. The wadi is fully loaded of Coriander with perfectly crisp on outside and soft inside. It goes best with chutney which they serve.
They also serve amazing Thalipeeth,Appe and South Indian food.
Great vibe. Good ambiance. Tasty foods.
Higly recommend to all ....aswome taste
We refered Zomato to find the famous dishes here. Found moglapodi Idlis, the only problem was too much ghee in them. We also ordered fliter coffee and set dosa and asked to keep butter on the side and not on the dosa. Everything turned amazing. Thanks for such a greta experience.
The place is big, most importantly parking available. Staff is polite and happy to serve, service is fast and food taste good. Multiple options for people on Fast. I personal like curd served with fries which includes ginger taste. Food quality is good and it was not too oily
Very good food quality service and ambiance one of the best place to have a great breakfast in Pune.
Here are some good words about a south indian restaurant Wadeshwar.
Food ordered:
Set Dosa with sambar and coconut chutney, Appe with green chutney , Filter Coffee
Ambiance:
Huge and well organised Place. Parking is available..!
It has all colourful walls with drawings all over it. Even on bill holder card there was a drawing of a guitarist.
Indoor sitting is available. It was calm and peaceful.
Kids sitting arrangements are available.
Must visit place for South Indian Breakfast.
Service:
Service was prompt.
Hosts were polite.
Taste:
Set dosa was spongy, soft, light and ghee on top is just “sone pe suhaga”….
Sambar and coconut chutney was the perfect siders with dosa.
Appe I tried after very long time and was satisfying.
At the end, filter coffee…love love..perfect reflection of bean origin, roasting and preparation..!!
That coffee made my day..
So Start your day with a scrumptious dosa and keep up the pace to finish all your chores…!!

I like mysore masala dosa the most the best and unique taste as i am little health concious also i like sprouts chat as well good to go as a breakfast.
My visit to the outlet has been the second time to a Wadeshwar outlet, been to the FC Road outlet a few years back.
The plan was to have a decent Indian brunch with my girlfriend and Wadeshwar was all that came to my mind then.
We went ahead with
1. Mysore masala dosa - pretty good in taste, the masala viz alo ki sabzi was a little less in quantity, the chutney and sambar were tasty.
2. Molgapodi Idli - the speciality mentioned on zomato are 8 mini idlis with some peanut masala over it and with a green cutney. I have tried the same dish in a outlet of Anna idli which was definitely better than the one here.
3. Filter Coffee - was just how I needed it at the moment.
4. Sabudana wada - good in taste and not having any shortcomings, but still I have had a better sabudana wadas.
5. Appe - Tasteful, served with the same green chutney as idlis.
6. Dahi wada - One of my favourites, were tasty as well but had the coconut pieces which I don't like with the dahi wada. Also the Dahi was a little sweet sour.
I was amazed at the end that we had so many dishes and finished them all. I could feel satisfied with the food, though the rates are pretty high.
In addition to the food, the service was good and quick. Whereas the ambience was pretty okayish.
Well if you don't have any problem with the prices, go and try the place. And let me know the other good delicacies of the place.
Hope you will enjoy your visit.
:)
The best place for South Indian dishes. They also have new items in a separate menu which you must enquire. Dahi kachori is amazing and unusual. My fav Idli Rasam is weekly breakfast along with authentic filter kaafi. 😁
Just one issue whenever I order food, the quantity of rasam, chutney and sambar is so little that I have to call and ask them to send again.
I have never had a bad experience at Wadeshwar. Their service is the best I have seen in business. Super fast and courteous and polite staff.
The food is also pretty good and great value. Something for everyone. We generally are there almost every other week for our Udupi fare. Ghee idli is great and their masala dosa is quite good as well. Having good parking is a big plus in Kalyani Nagar.
This really is one of the best places to have authentic as well has fusioned South-Indian food. They have ample seating space, both indoors and outdoors and serve sandwiches too but I would totally recommend Mysore Masala Cheese Dosa, Masala Dosa and if you're in a mood to try something new, then cheese capsicum dosa also. We tried sweet lassi and lemon lassi too, however, the latter came out to be a little too innovative and less satiating.
But yes, the South Indian food served here it is up to the mark.
Wonderful place to be in
Service is good
Taste is good
Definitely recommend everyone
Do all visit all
Highly recommended to all of my friends
Such a quick service
Ordered masala dosa and got it within minutes
Value for money
Good and neat and clean place
Staff is also cordial and nice place to visit for evening time pass
Best place for breakfast and morning snacks. You will get good veg food options for lunch and dinner also.
Tasty South Indian and Maharashtrian dishes.
Service is fast.
Ambience is ok.
One of the best South Indian breakfast places in Pune for sure. Medu wada, Molgapodi idli and Appe is what I ordered and loved. Had also tried the dosa at the JM road outlet and was happy with the service and food both.
Just want to give big thanks to Mr. Varun sir (Kalyani Nagar) for his helping nature..
He is man who helped me for looking my lost thing.. he tried his best.. he asked to team members, he checked out CCTV footage. thanks man..
I have not seen this much politeness recently..
Situated centrally in Kalyani Nagar, Wadeshwar serves some delicious south indian food. Ghee idlis require a special mention here for their taste.
Restaurant is large enough and well lit.
My all-time favourite for Dosa..
Last year when I used to stay in Kalyani Nagar, I used to visit this every weekend. My Saturday breakfast was sorted. Crispy Masala dosa and chai. It's been long since I have visited. Will surely post again when I visit
This place is so good 😘😘
Was carving for Indian dish called ‘Appe’.. And for a women like me who is super duper active when it comes to hunger, I jus turned my moped 90degree and straight in front of Wadeshwar.
Order one Aape and chai, its came in just 15 minutes or so..
Aftr finishing one, I order again the same ‘aape’ dish,Loved the taste with green chutney
Amazing😋😋
End with tea
And happy happy
Beautiful ambience, ample parking , good service, best food, not much crowded and peaceful
This is an outlet in Kalyani nagar with huge parking space. The ambience is nice.
Coming to food, we ordered Mysore cheese masala dosa and pessarattu dosa (which was new for us). The taste was awesome for both the dosas . There was lots of cheese in Mysore cheese masala dosa. For Pessarattu dosa, it is made out of green moong dal and will be served with rasam and chutney. The service is very quick.
We went there for breakfast with friends. Pocket friendly, opens early and authentic food. Podi idli, dosa, pessurathu dosa, filter coffee was great
Misal pav was a bit let down.
Friendly staff and fast service
This place is located in Kalyani Nagar. Around 8-10 mins drive from Pune Airport. Parking space is available.
Visited for there for breakfast.
Ordered:
Tea, Nutritious Daliya and Grilled Soya Sandwich.
Service was quick and the food was tasty.
I was looking for healthy breakfast option and this place didn't disappoint me.
This is a unique and quite popular restaurant for indulging in maharastrian and udipi food... The Sabudana Khichdi is one of my favorite... It's taste is very delectable.... We have also tried the malgapodi idli, one of the restaurant speciality as well as other udipi food like uttappa and idli wada sambar.... Ambience is very lovely and bright...Overall, its a great place for family dining with kids
I have tried various items from this place and I must say that they are excellent in almost all of them. Starting with their SPDP which are simply amazing, they serve great chaat and simply mouthwatering things.
On a perfect Sunday morning, after going through the laps in swimming pool the only thing you need a nice, yummy breakfast. That's what Wadeshwar provided. Mini idlis dipped in hot sambhar with deshi ghee floating over it. Ummmmmm yummy..... Watching your better half and little princess delving into their butter tomato uttapa and crispy plain dosa feels heart warming. A cup of filter coffee gives the satisfaction you need. Happy!
Good place for breakfast and not very crowded. We tried mysore masala dosa and batata wada sambhar this time. I specifically asked for a crispy dosa with masala on the side. The dosa was super yum and so was the wada sambar. We had coffee last time which was too sweet so skipped it this time and had orange juice instead which was good too (opt for without sugar juice to enjoy the sweetness of fruit!). Try their mini idlis too. Overall a good place for breakfast or snacks.
Probably this is one of the wadeshwar outlets where there is less crowd. The taste remains the same. Good old wadeshwar. If anyone wants to eat at wadeshwar without facing the crowd, then this is the right place.
Goooood morning break fast wadeshwar
Very beautiful place Goooood ambince
Break fast wasssssss beautiful...👌👌👌
Service was goooood
4.1 Break Fast
Quality is imporved this time .
This is last time review
Heard about this place. Vegetarian famous varities.
Went couple of times.
Breakfast - Dosa was too good. Coffee was to sweet
Upma - not really that great, they serve coconut chutney along with it..
Uthaman - Cheese and onion nice and yummy.
Ambience is ok, but to crouded.
Fare prise as will. Serious fe is quick and good
I recently moved to Pune and this place is my goto for Breakfast. Very tasty food, great ambience and good service. The filter coffee served in glassware has a dense but foamy texture tastes better than most cappucinos. The sabudana khichadi is crunchy and has a spicy zing, which goes perfectly with a side of sweet yoghurt.
My favourite place to eat authentic Indian food.
My personal favourite here is pani puri but Hakka noodles and curd rice tastes great too!
We also ordered veg clear soup, but what they gave us was some Chineseish soup. We also asked them if this is what it is supposed to be they were oblivious. I just set it aside. That’s not to be ordered here then 😅.
Other than this everything was nicely priced and served within acceptable timelines.
Made me love dosas, Mysore masala at it's best :)
Even the chatnis are to die for, such good is the quality of this place.. Ghee dosa is another of it's speciality, among many other good South recepies to be served, taste it to believe it
This is a good restaurant in Pune for South Indian n vegetarian food. They have many branches, We went to the Kalyani Nagar outlet.
One thing I like about them is that they have ample parking space so we can drive in. Food, speed of service, ambience is all good. One must try their Upma, Cheese Dosa, Juices n even vegetarian food.
Thank you guys for the lovely breakfast. Will definitely visit again.
Wadeshwar has almost become synonymous to Pune 👏🏻🤟🏻 This place serves scrumptious breakfast and other fast food items. They have options for health conscious and vegan people as well. Thalipit and onion uttapam are highly recommended 😋 It is always a delight to go to this place 😇
Good food, friendly served and the food was really good and upto the mark.
Being a food chain it's necessary to deliver so the did,.
A value for money meal .!!
Amazing meal at Wadeshwar kalyani nagar.
had been to the fc road one but this one was a much better outing. better service, better ambience and lovely taste.
feel good place with the menu having such nice detailed descriptions. you feel like ordering so much. Will have to visit several times to try out their other specialities.
The Appe was different and yum.
my family enjoyed the set dosa and ghee idli the most.
The cheese chilli dosa was a disappointment with only raw green chillies tossed on the cheese dosa.
quite liked the way the manager helped us chose our dishes.
coming back for more.
Cold coffee 4/5
Bhel 5/5
Dahi wada 4/5
Overall experience seems nice! Ambience is good and this place is a go to place for South indian food
Went for dinner to this place and ordered one chole bature, and mysore masala dosa. The taste was gud.
1. Ambiance - 4/5.
2. Service - 4/5.
3. Food Quality - 4/5.
4. Food Quantity - 4/5.
5. Price - 4/5.
Will Definitely visit this place again and also recommend others to visit this place.
Somehow this place is a fav for my son(2.5 years old).
He likes the dosa being served at the restaurant with some sweet curd.
Well as my son likes to visit this place, we have tried couple of things at the restaurant.
Worth a try items:
Appe
Thal pith
sambhar wada
Dosa.
I recently visited Wadeshwar and tried their Aloo Paratha, Dahi Wada, and Onion Uttapa. The Dahi Wada was absolutely mind-blowing, a burst of flavors that left a lasting impression. The Uttapa was also delightful, full of delicious taste. The service was swift and attentive, adding to the positive experience. The restaurant boasts a charming ambiance, creating a pleasant atmosphere for a relaxed dining experience.
We were here for breakfast, and I had a mixed experience. The service, hygiene, and ambiance were all good, however taste of the food was not as outstanding as I had expected, based on the market hype and social media posts.
I tried the Maysoor masala cheese dosa, which was nice. I also tried the set dosa, which was good. The coconut kachori was also good that one should try here.
I also tried the onion cheese uttapa, sweet corn patice, and filter coffee. Which was ok.
Overall, I would say that Wadeshwar is a good place to have breakfast, but it is not as outstanding as it is made out to be. The service is good, the staff is courteous and humble, and the ambiance is nice.
Good Food and good service available here at Wadeshwar, kalyani nagar.I visit it more often.
I visited this place with my friends, to have lunch,in the Manu we were able to see Panjabi and South Indian options the dishes are affordable and tasty too but the quantity is very low, if you order any sabji then hardly 2 people can have that, so if there 4 people are visiting for a lunch or dinner then minimum 2 subji and 2 rice should be ordered
Otherwise the ambiance of the hotal is tipical wadeshwar. And crowded also
Talking about parking there is a decent parking available so no Hassel in parking.
Had a simple but most desired breakfast; Idli Vada combo with sambhar & chutney at this quiet place :) Till date, I didn’t like the taste of sambhar anywhere else in Pune BUT Wadeshwar won my heart! Very light and soft texture of Idli, nicely cooked coconut chutney made my day! I’m giving a 4 star rating since they can do more variations with sambhar :)
Wadeshwar, the go to place for punekars is now serving North Indian cuisine too .I visited the place recently and was astonished to see the variety of North Indian food menu on my plate. From cheese corn tikki to Veg rajwadi ,Paneer Tikki masala to Dal fry ,every dish was combined well with flavours and was so soothing to the palate, the moong dal halwa took my heart with its mouth melting texture ,loaded with dry fruits and ghee this one is a must try at Wadeshwar..Visit soon and share your food experience with me .
My experience at the newly revamped Wadeshwar was awesome. The place gives a nice positive vibe and lot has changed since I visited last.
They serve Punjabi cuisine and Chinese items which you won’t get at any other outlets.
Do visit
I have visited this place few times but have ordered from here many times. This place offers an amazing variety of breakfast and snacks. I love their sabudana vada, sabudana khichdi and potatoe vada. Overall all the items are tasty.
Ambience is nice. Service is also good.
Price point it's little expensive but it's worth the hype as it is hygienic and clean. Overall a nice place for breakfast over evening snacks.
Recently visited Wadeshwar restaurant in Kalyani Nagar and was immediately struck by the revamped ambiance. The wooden interiors and brick-structured tiles on the walls gave off a cozy, inviting vibe. The addition of artificial plants and classic wall cartoon doodles added a nice touch to the atmosphere.
For drinks, I ordered a Mango milkshake with ice-cream and pineapple mosambi juice. Both drinks were fantastic and very refreshing. I decided to try something different than their South Indian menu and ordered from their Punjabi menu, I ordered starters which included Hara Bhara Kabab, Paneer Banjara Kabab, and Crispy Veg. The Hara Bhara Kabab came in 8 pieces and was topped with a lot of peas and caramelized onion, and served with green chutney which tasted good. The Paneer Banjara Kabab, on the other hand, was amazing! The paneer was soft and loaded with cheese and salad. The crispy veg was also great, loaded with a variety of crispy veggies topped with sesame seeds.
Moving on to the main course, I tried the staff-recommended Paneer Lahori and Baby Corn Mushroom along with Butter Roti and Cheese Garlic Naan. Both dishes came in good quantity and tasted amazing. The Butter Roti and Garlic Naan were nice & soft. I also tried their special mocktails, Red Granite and Deep Blue, which were fizzy and tasted great.
For dessert, I ordered the Chocolate Brownie and Gulab Jamun. The Chocolate Brownie was served with vanilla ice cream and topped with chocolate sauce. The Gulab Jamun came in three pieces and was hot and soft. It was the perfect end to my meal.
The service at Wadeshwar is fast and the staff is very kind and attentive. Overall, I recommend trying their Punjabi menu if you want to try something new rather than their classic South Indian menu. The revamped ambiance is great and the food tastes amazing. I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant!
