One of the best missal I have every had. They ask for the level of spiciness you want. Always go for medium spicy because that itself is very spicy. Go for a buttermilk along with it as it acts as a coolant. Perfect combination. It has a small sitting and usually very crowded. You can take parcel as well. There is a token allotment and it is very systematic.

The gravy of misal is too yum...I loved it.But let me tell you it's not a proper misal...they don't add sprouts(matki) in it...Only potato...but however it is. I loved the spiciness of it and main thing it is very pocket friendly.
They serve 3 types of misal. Normal, Med- Spicy & Spicy. I had spicy misal, it was very spicy. Taste was awesome. Must try for misal lovers.

I am a bigggggg katakirrr fan, an so i have tried almost all their outlets, and with the same enthusiasm tried this sinhgad road outlet.
Ambience is nice, seating is quite sufficient, as per the demand and waiting this was much needed. Me and my husband have fixed order to make which rarely changes, one LIGHT MISAL for me and SPICY MISAL for him, along with MATHA each. 😋😋
Misal quality never disappoints, but for the first time felt the tarrri was lil more watery, needed a good boil.
Overall anytime is MISAL TIME.

Same quality taste in a new location.This is branch no. 6 a new addition to their family. The place is easily visible and located on main road itself. Entrance is from the inside of the building. Ample parking space available on road itself.

We had Katakirr Misal at Sinhagad road outlet. Few of us had light misal, few had medium spicy one. This option selection shows that Katakirr means extra spicy. I dont see enough sprouts in their misal. They used potato instead. Overall good ambiance, food and service.

Talking about the food I have ordered tikhat misal, the misal was up to the mark in spicy, people who can bear the spice or eat spicy at extreme level can try tikhat misal.
Served with 2 pav, diced onion, lemons and extra tarri (which is spicy).

Simply Fantastic, after a very very long time I had such a wonderful misal pav. It reminded me of mamedar misal thane.
We had been here on a Sunday brunch, so we got place to sit.
Ambience is really good and located at Sinhgad Road.
Make sure one thing if you are going for spicy it's gonna be terribly spicy.
Misal pav is really good and if opting for spicy it's too spicy.
Gravy is unlimited but extra pav are chargeable. So try chaas along with it.

Kata kirr is Iconic place in pune to have misal.
I already had there misal couple of times and everytime it is an awesome experience. The taste never changes. They have three different spice levels on the misal regular, medium and extra spicy. This place serves the best misal who loves little more heat in their food.
They also provide additional rassa on the side to increase your spice levels.
But with all this spice you will need some sort cooling agent and that's where mattha(buttermilk) come along. They serves awesome mattha it's kind of awesome.
This place also has a great ambience and service is great and the best part is this place is cost effective.

Finally, a top notch misal joint so close to my house. Living on Sinhagad road, the only thing that was missing was a fabulous misal joint near my house. And with Kata Kirr opening at walking distance, life is perfect. I guess this is about 6th outlet of katakirr in the city now. Everybody knows what Kata kirr serves. But still, for the record, Katakirr serves one of the most delicious spicy misal in the city. This outlet of kata kirr is located on sinhagad road opposite mohite complex. Parking space available on roadside for both two wheelers and four wheelers. This outlet is located on the first floor. The ambience of this place although simplistic and basic, is much better compared to other outlets. The use of natural sunlight through the glass wall makes this a pleasant place to visit. The tables are well spaced. This place gets kinda crowded on weekends. Fortunately i went to this place on a wednesday afternoon. It was almost empty at that time. We went for their medium spicy misal. The taste was great as always. I've tried almost every outlet of kata kirr and they have never failed me in terms of taste. The misal was spicy and yummy. Signature kata kirr stuff. Loved it. The staff is really polite. Much better than some other outlets. Hygiene is maintained. The service is fast. Quality and quantity are great. Reasonable prices. I'm gonna be a regular customer of this place for sure.

It's their 6th Branch (६वी शाखा). All time favorite. Tasty spicy misal with zanzanit tarri is specialty of Katakirr. This sinhgad road branch is located in Mohite Paradise near New Poona Bakery. Place is easily noticeble from road. Service is good and workers are polite. The place have A/c (new feature of this branch) .Must try. They have one unique line written on counter which is typical puneri - काका, थोडी एक्स्ट्रा तर्री द्याना 😎🔥. Must visit.

A yummy spicy Misal, there was no waiting and the service was prompt. We need to take token before being catered in, even for takeout we have to take a new token. For medium spicy Misal it was very spicy. After a long time I had such a spicy food with every bite needed a sip of buttermilk.
Taste is awesome. Sometimes you have to wait for some time because of crowd. Token system is available here. The menu is in the limited form means if you buy anything at second time the you need to pay the extra price for that. But the test is good.
I really like katakir misal, it is my all time fav one in entire pune from last 5 yrs! They serve 3 types of misal spicy, medium spicy and normal one. Mine fav is medium one and there pav quality is very good competitive to any other misal pav, there matta quality and teast is just wow! #kakathodiextratarridyana.

We tried the Medium one and we liked it very much. One surving comes with 2 Pavs. The delivery time is also quick. Our order was given to us very quickly.
The seating arrangement is also very comfortable. I would recommend you try Chaas(Matha) with this. This is also soothing.
They also take parcel orders.
Taste is nice. wellknown in pune.Rates are little high according to quantity. Bread size need to change. Clean & calm sitting with nice view. Staff is nice. Not easily find as located on second floor. Rate cards are not available on every table so customer can't understand rates.
Good tasty misal in adequate quantity .. you get it in two variants - normal(less spicy - कमी तिखट) and medium(spicy/तिखट)..You also get buttermilk/ताक over here.. ambience is OK..You get digital payment modes..

Misal is great. Go for the medium one unless you know your taste. Their mattha is quite tasty.
Ambiance isn't so great, but I doubt that true misal lovers will care about that. They have charging points! That's a plus.
Apart from that there obviously is that (in)famous Puneri restriction against sharing. Parcel charges extra and all that.
My only suggestion is to have more beverages to wash down the spice, especially kokam sharbat. And yes, why isn't there an option to have sugar if you serve dahi?!
Overall - if you love misal, none if it matters, go for it!
If you want authentic maharatrian Misal then this is the best hotel .

The ambience is also good , now they are going the inovative way. They offer misal based on your spicyness you can handle.

It was my first experience to taste the authentic puneri misal and I enjoyed it a lot. Little crowded place to visit on weekends. But a must try for those who love supremely spicy food.
No ventiliation...exhaust was off and suffocating, no taste to that misal...just spicy...food should be tasty and spicy along...also the bill was too much for just 4 misal...should learn the meaning of food quality...
