I wanted to try Bengali cuisine for a long time and after a long wait I finally got my hands on some Bengali food. I must say that I usually don't go out of my comfort zone when it comes to trying new cuisines but Bengali food surprisingly pleased my palate. A lot of my Bengali friends had recommended Radhika Flavours of East, so I thought why not give it a try and now I feel why did I wait for so long ! the mutton biryani was too good! I was never a fan of mutton but now I am thanks to Radhika! Above all I realised they offer ready to cook items too.. Will order that next time for sure! keep up the great work!

Good Bengali food for when you’re missing home. Love their aloo fry the most. And the sweet pulao is to die for. Reminds me of my childhood days!

Being a bangali I kept on hunting for good bangali food while I am away from home. Same happens when I was in pune for last two months This small decent benali restaurant will provide you with best of bengali dishes and will satisfy your cravings. I visited this place lot of times and I always felt home when I used to go there.
Few dishes you should definitely try:
Mutton kosha
Shukto
Basanti pulao
Narkel bora
Chanar payesh

I am actually a little zapped at the rating for Radhika - it definitely deserves a very high rank. The food is tasty, the service is prompt, and the restaurant is clean and hygienic. I and my wife have ordered in from here and have eaten here twice, and each time, the experience has been very positive.

People who are crazy about Bengali cuisine are most welcome to this place. They serve amazing chicken kosha with steam rice... it's my all-time famous combo. Alu bhaja is one of their speciality. Chicken pieces are really well cooked and tender. Also don't miss their gud wala Rosogullah... it's not easily available anywhere else. Must try for the food-lovers who hail from North.

Radhika is genuinely nice restaurant which serves best Kolkata Food in Kharadi. Biryani, Mutton Kosha and cutlets were really yum. On Poila Boishak they were ran out of man power as huge order were pouring in online and they were not prepared for the rush so deducted 1 star. It is must go place at least for once for Bengali Fine Dine and ambience is really very comfy.

Bengali cuisine lovers may recall that Radhika in Viman Nagar used to serve yummy Bengali food and authentic Bengali sweets. Unfortunately, they had to close their Viman Nagar outlet, which was in any case mostly a takeout as there was no space for dine-in tables. Radhika has now attracted new investors and have launched a new outlet at Kharadi in Global High Street, Kharadi.

The restaurant offers a wide selection of authentic Bengali cuisine. Some of the unique offerings are mutton biryani (with genuine kewda and rose water which gives a unique twist to the biryani), ilish (hilsa) sorshe, fish bhapa, paturi, kosha, posto, dolma etc, etc, etc. The fish is fresh and flown down from Kolkata regularly along with the Bengali special rice and spices. In fact, even the chefs have been sourced from Kolkata and so one can be sure that the cuisine is bona fide Bengali, not a hotchpotch.

Our dinner consisted of Veg Chop made from beetroot, followed by mutton cutlet, golden fried prawns, chili chicken dry as starters. The veg chop was interesting especially as I had not tasted beetroot except as salad. The prawns were crunchy on the outside and very succulent and moist on the inside, extremely delicious. So was the mutton cutlet crunch and crisp with the minced meat lightly and lovingly spiced to bring out real flavours. Main course was Mutton biryani, chicken chaap and bhetki kalia. The biryani was very flavourful with hints of kewda and rose water, which give the dish a totally new twist. Radhika’s biryani also was not greasy and heavily spiced like most places like to cook their biryani. Instead it had subtle hints of the individual spices, the kewda water, the rose water. I could say it was among the top delicious biryanis’ I have ever had. The bhetki was fresh and meaty cooked just the way I presume Bengalis prefer. Our dinner was rounded off with a warm Daab Payesh, a rice milk pudding with elaichi and saffron.

A cloud kitchen in Viman Nagar is under final touches and is expected to start functioning shortly. This will be used for pre-preparation and for online and take-out orders. Plus a part of this will be dedicated for the preparation of authentic Bengali sweets. Also plans are underway to open a 2nd outlet in Aundh in the next couple of months.

I have tasted Bengali cuisine only a couple of times but have always enjoyed the food. Radhika, I can say definitely fulfils one’s hunger for delicious food! Worth a try at least once and I am sure that repeat visits will be a norm……..
