Peshwa has good traditional food for main course. The ambience of the restaurant was quiet good. The service was good but not quick. The tables for 2 people were small, that is the only thing i felt was a bit of problem.

Firstly, the ambience is so good that you can feel it the moment you enter the place. The color combination in the Interiors is also soothing and makes the place look bright and big.

Since we were having our hotel right next to this restaurant we thought why not give this a try and also since we were actually keen on having some light foodstuff for dinner we went here.
The ambiance of the hotel is really good. It is quite spacious from the inside and the seating arrangement has been thoughtfully designed. Apart from this being centralized A/C is an added advantage since you are away from the outside pollution and noise. The staff seemed friendly and prompt to respond whenever we had any query.
Coming to the order we order a vegetable manchow soup. The manchow soup was really nice and a bit on the spicier side. It contained plenty of vegetables and tasted way better than many of the soups I have tasted at other places. Later we ordered a dal fry and jeera rice for the main course. The jeera rice was made in nice long grained rice. the aroma was too good and it was cooked perfectly. Even the taste was awesome.
Coming to the dal fry, it was nice and thick as dal fry should be. The best part was these guys took care to ensure they do not add any chilies or garlic to the dal fry according to the special instruction we had given. Thus, all in all, the food is wonderful, the ambiance is very good, the restaurant is neat and well maintained and you can peacefully have your lunch or dinner even on a busy day.

If you are from Thane, you must know मामलेदार misal. Now it is available also for pune people. While making misal available in pune, Peshwa did make some changes in taste and made less spicy. Also ambience is very good and lots of maharshtrain options made available unlike Mamaledar misal, so you can opt to go there and have dine in option.

Peshwa restaurant is located in the heart of the city where you will get authentic Maharashtrian food. As the name itself suggests, the restaurant is based on the warriors of Maharashtra 'Peshwas'. You will find beautiful drawings painted on the walls representing Maharashtrian history.
Coming to the food, We tried:
1) Misal: The misal was a combination of peas and matki with farsan on the top. They served a side ' tarri' to make it more spicy. I found the misal a bit dry and less spicy.
2) Aloo wadi and Kothambir wadi: Another Maharashtra based food which was really tasty. Perfectly crispy spicy! Aloo wadi were perfectly steamed and fried.
3)Suralichi Wadi and Mass wadi : Suralichi Wadi, also known as khandvi a gujarat based dish which I completely love. Mass wadi are besan stuffed with different types of masalas which makes luscious and ravishing.
4) Pav bhaji: A pav bhaaji filled with butter sided with onions and salad
5)Moong dosa : A dish that will not break your diet. A tasty and healthy dish. A big brown rectangular dosa sided with chutney.
Desserts:
1) Gulabjamun: Now, who doesn't love Gulabjamun! Delicious hot gulab jamun served with 'Pakh'. Tgese have always been my favourite.
2) Lapsi :Laapsi is an Indian sweet dish made of broken wheat pieces and ghee along with nuts, raisins and dried fruits. Flavours were perfectly balanced.
3)Gajar ka halwa : Delicious Gajar ka halwa which you should try!

I was invited here a couple of days ago for dinner.
Speaking about the ambience, it’s pure marathi decor with traditional Maharashtrian painting hanging all over the walls. It’s a spacious restaurant and the fragrance of the essence stick is spread all over the place making the environment peaceful.

Peshwa is a pure veg Indian restaurant situated on FC road. They serve authentic Maharashtrian cuisine all day. Peshwa known best for its Misal Pav is not serving different misal but it also serves Italian, South Indian, Chinese and North Indian cuisine. The food here is tasty.
The menu is good to choose from as per your cravings. The quick bites and the breakfast menu is different from the main course menu.

A perfect family restaurant for lunch and dinner outings. The place is cool, calm and comfortable. The ambiance is pretty and simple. They have upstairs seating too that occupies more than 100 ppl. You can throw a small party or get together here. Comfortable seating with a perfect street view and good food.

Juices and mocktails - It was soothing and refreshing.
Misal (mamledar) - Not a common matki misal but ordinary spicy misal with potato, green peas, farsan, raw chopped onions, and tomato. You can add spice as per your taste.
Alu wadi and kothimbir wadi - All time favorite snack of maharastra. This was perfectly cooked and spicy too.
Aluchi Vadi is prepared from colocasia leaves rolled in chickpea flour, steamed and then pan-fried.
Kothimbirichi Vadi is made with cilantro leaves.
Suralichi wadi and mas wadi - Suralichi wadi also known as khandvi. Suralichi Vadi is a savory snack made from gram flour and yogurt. It consists of yellowish, tightly rolled bite-sized pieces.
Pav bhaji - Pav bhaji is a fast food dish consisting of a vegetable curry served with a soft bread roll
Moong dosa - they are also serving some really Healthy Bites. Don't forget to order one.
Paneer tikka - Paneer tikka masala good served with Roti or naan.

Peshwa mastani - Mastani with butterscotch ice cream and dry fruits.

I tried the breakfast buffet. Cheap, yet excellent taste, and good choices, yet not too many : poha, upma, sheera, idli, medu and batata vadas, with coconut chutney and sambar. I loved everything except for the sheera, chutney, and the sambar was far too sweet. Upma was surprisingly tasty, same for poha. Idli seldom disappoints me, same goes for batata vadas. The food is slightly spicy, which is perfect for me, and many others. The breakfast buffet is definitely worth a try!

It was an amazing experience to visit Peshwa restaurant at JM road today. We were surprised to see Ukadiche Modak as a part of regular Menu. Modak were perfectly cooked and crafted. If one needs a Maharashtrian ambience and views of Marathi Culture, then Peshwa is the place..! The food delivery takes 10-15 minutes however depends on what menu is ordered.! Variety is available in breakfast menu.! Tried the Misal although not recommended if you are spice lovers! South Indian menu is good!

The ambience is really beautiful, you can see that utmost care has been taken on the interiors and the Big paintings with mini artefacts and lamps make it beautiful.

Nice place. Hotel Peshwa is just a name. You get maharashtrian food and even North Indian cuisine. Food is tasty. But it doesn't give you the typical maharashtrian taste,you get the feeling of Punjabi masalas in the food. Else food is very good and service is also very nice

I had breakfast over here and it was quite delicious. The staff was also quite sincere. Being on FC road, it was suprising to me that the place was pretty calming. The interior of this place is also very decent and they have wide range of breakfast options. Considering the place the price is bit above average but it's okay when you get service like this.
Strictly Veg. Food is good. Portion/Qty is good. One must try honey chilli potato. Quick service. Atmosphere is nice. Difficult to get parking.
