This place serves amazing food, they even give you the option to make your meal by choosing their given options from the menu card. I am very fond of green and red Thai curry and trust me they serve amazing Thai curry. I had green Thai curry and it was super delicious. I have also tried their chilly silly noodles and veg dim sum and they are amazing, especially their chilly silly noodles.
Momos is my most favourite food item and Five fat monks has totally nailed at it..

Well these are called silky chicken dumplings and you can easily know why they r called soo!

"Make it your way" Gives you so many choices and help you make the right dish just the way you want. I loved their kung pao sauce. It was up to the mark. Definitely ordering more.
Ordered the Lamb Prawn Chicken Noodle was very good, I have ordered from here in the past and it has never disappointed. Compared to all the hundreds of Wok places popping up this is a little expensive
Their preparation is good and quite wholesome. My kid enjoys designing his own meal and that makes him relish it more. Definitely our go to place
We have ordered lunch from here quite a few times and I always thought of writing a review but eventually I would end up not doing it. So finally doing it this time.
The food is amazing taste wise, quantity wise and also the quality wise. Liked everything from this place that we have tried so far. Will recommend the Silly Chilly Noodles and Chicken wings as they are a must try.

I have tried multiple Pan Asian cuisine / Wok around Pune but Wok curated and served by "Chef Ankush" is one of the best Wok ["Make it your way"] I ate till date.
Thus that makes me regular at Five Fat Monks since many months.
My personal recommendation will be:
Non-Veggie Wok:

Base: Brown Rice
Sauce : Kung pao
Veggies: Any
Garnish: Roasted Cashew nuts, Fried Garlic/ onions.
Wok has been lip smacking everytime with right amount of veggies which blends perfectly with the kung pao sauce and brown rice.
Quantity is enough for one.
Note: Good for those who like spicy food.

Fancy name as it suggests.. Been there a couple of times.
Though a small take away shop in the food court section of Seasons mall, this place serves the best Asian and Chinese food .
Every item on their menu has its own unique taste may it be the soup or a wholesome meal, the quantity is sure enough for a person to make him skip the second meal of the day.
And also the food remains piping hot till the last bite
Out of all the times I had been there , The Zen Hen and The wholesome Monk chow soup are my favourite.
The only thing they can work on is the service part, it takes minimum 25-30 minutes to serve even basic of the meal which can be a bit tiring at times.

I love Asian box meals... Love their woks. Just 5 steps to a yummy meal totally your way... I also like their combos.... Although I could never try their baos, yet m looking forward for their availability at my next visit
We have ordered food from five fat monks a couple of times and they have never disappointed us. The customisation for both veg and non-veg is good, and even a small sized meal is enough for one person. The base sauces are good, i have tried 3 varieties and all of them were awesome. The food packaging is good and the delivery was good as well from Zomato.
Visited with thought of being too ordinary Chinese/Indonesian cuisines but to its surprise it turns out to be BEST food paradise ever . Have almost tried all what’s on menu and loved each one , which is with its own different unique enriched strong flavour. It’s has got on top on my list !!

The soy chili sauce provides the best blend of sour and spicy. Can’t believe I never came here before.
This review is only regarding the tastet since I ordered the PRAWNS CHICKEN LAMB TRINITY, the food was amazing it had all the three flavors in it. It had an ample amount of meat which you will feel it in every bite it had beans which gave extra crisp and texture to the flavor.
Overall it is a really tasty dish.

One of the many outlets in Seasons Mall food court however a lot different then others. The only outlet serving pan asian street food cuisine.
I have tried it on couple of occasions and it was a wonderful experience each time... there is a good variety available in the menu. I would recommend Bow-Wov 😊

The name FFM is synonymous to order in food for my wife and me everytime we are in the mood for some good chinese cuisine. We have never really visited the place because ordering in has worked out to be so much more convenient in their case.
The food has never been a disappointment. Packed in neat take away boxes that look like the traditional chinese take out boxes(only thing missing are a pair of chopsticks 🥢)
Everything that we have tried has always been visually appealing and full of flavour. It’s good asian food with a twist!
This place is great value for money and I recommend trying everything on their menu. Trust me you wont be disappointed.
This place is little expensive as compared to other food joints at food court in seasons mall. But I like their preparation. And it gives u a good Chinese option in Seasons mall I recommend this place. It's a good try. The bow is really wow.
Visited this place since I was in Seasons mall and looking for some Chinese food. Tried the chicken wok and chicken dimsum. The wok was ok, nothing great ..The one in Wok express in Mumbai was way better. The dim sum was good. I think there are better options for Chinese elsewhere.

Love five fat monks!! Best place to try some different noodles if you are tired of the usual schezwan and Hakka noodles. I always go for the wok where you can customise your base, proteins, veggies, sauces and garnishing. Love the taste.

Sadly yes...I'm on a diet, so hooray for the Veggies!
No non-veg for me today, as after my wife's nearly 1hr lecture on my weight, i decided to dine as a true Shakahari. But fear not my non-veggie lover, i did sneak a peak later.
Being in the mall, decided to give this place a try. i ordered the Silly chilly, veggie wok with Egg, Pok choy, Shiitake mushrooms & Broccoli all swimming in hearty serving of Hunan Sauce.
{Yes i'm a fan of Broccoli & don't you go making those funny faces at me :P}
OOH!!! just to satisfy my craving for chicken, i quickly parceled in a chilly chicken later.
I know I'm really naughty ha ha ;p
We both shared as she ordered it & Surprisingly, not bad at first, silly chilly was spicy, succulent & tasty noodles were loaded with veggies, capsicum, spring onions, and hidden in between were those pesky thai chilies or some local ones that really make you sweat and Imagine Dragons or i was that lucky one who found the chilli.
My little meal arrived, but i didn't expect a partition the rice on one side and the gravy the other. i was expecting a hotchpotch with the fried egg on top.
well i did get the egg on top and it was slightly salty on the gravy but full on flavor.
i enjoyed the little bits of Pok choy & slithers of mushroom and little florets of broccoli all happily floating around in the gravy.
Overall a hearty meal for the veggie king!

Actual joy out of a box ... that too steaming hot. Fantastic stop for pan Asian food lovers. Great taste, fresh ingredients and super cooking is what they offer. Priced at a premium tag but value for money.

I ordered "Make it your way" where you can choose your rice or noodles, your toppings, your garnish. It's awesome.
I ordered pad thai noodle with chicken and hunan sause and Thai basil as toppings.
The food was so awesome. Really enjoyed.
Weekends must be invested in such places, it's worth it...
Have only tried Silly chilli chicken noodles and spicy basil chicken. The later was good but the noodle was absolutely outstanding and best among all I have tried in Pune.
Guys please start delivering to Kharadi as well. Me and my friends will love to order from you.

The food quality is good and along with the quantity is enough to fill a person. Most importantly they customise your order not only based on the menu but also based on your demand.
Been to this place a couple of times. The kung pow wow is really delicious. They even have the custom made wok's. The staff is friendly. The service was quick.
I recently had got a home delivery from 5 fat monks on a heavily pouring day. Their food is always tasty and I’m a big fan of the quality aswell. The best part is their service recovery and promptness as recently they had mixed up my order a little bit yet still made up for it in no time .. thumbs up for that 👍🏻👍🏻

Ordered chicken Kung pao wow : Medium spicy with lot of dry fruits added ..Kung pao was true to the name..
Big Monks Special : A mixture of gravy , noodles and rice..this one is a bit spicy with lots of veggies in the gravy ...the taste was simple ..nothing out of ordinary
Quantity is a bit less compared to the price they charge ...quality is good with all the ingredients bring fresh by taste

I Dine out from this outlet quite often given my restaurant is located on the same food court..
Have always ordered the Prawns Lamb n Chicken Trinity Noodles and you can't go wrong with that..
Prawns are well cooked (unlike overcooked Prawns most restaurants tend to serve) the lamb is sliced and marinated which has always been well cooked as well..
They even have a make it your on way concept which allows one to customise their meal to their preferences..
Would recommend this place to all..
The food was average. I have ordered veg go green rice which was tasty and with full of fresh vegetables .. though the silly chilly noodles wasn't something I was impressed with, there tom yum soup was average but it has too much of corriender in it. There prices are high compared to the quality delivered.
This is a nice small place in the corner of the food court. We ordered some noodles with rice. Taste was very good.They also have make your own bowl options. Will visit again.
Little overpriced and less quantity. I called for a home delivery of a rice box with kung pow chicken. No doubt the chicken tasted delicious, what didn't work for me was paying 295 bucks + delivery fee for a tiny box of half rice and half chicken. The quantity is very less. No comments on the quality and taste as it tasted just amazing.

Spotted this place when I was strolling around the food court looking for something new to try. The name 'Five Fat Monks' and the branding were interesting which pulled me towards this outlet. There were a lot of interesting options on the menu. I went for 'Make It Your Way' wok in which you get to select your own base, protein, sauce, veggies and toppings. I chose a brown rice base with eggs and hunan sauce. The service was fairly quick. The order was served in their signature orange box. Now coming to the taste, it was really good. I would definitely want to go back to try the other items on the menu. The price that they charge was justified by the food quality. This place is definitely worth a visit if you're at Season's Mall, looking for some delicious Chinese food.

If I was ever asked to sum up my food experience with The Five Fat Monks... I would say - awesome Chinese food served in the most humble setting. I actually landed comparing them to Chinese room and Mainland China for the taste and flavours.
Ordered a non vegetarian big wok meal and a vegetarian big wok meal. Flavour chosen for non vegetarian option - burnt garlic sauce with chicken and brown rice. Vegetarian option - Tofu with broccoli, yellow and green peppers in kung pao sauce. This was rated spicy however did not find it spicy at all. (I am quite capable of handling 4-5 times the spice levels that was depicted as 2 chillies).
I found the food very satisfying, full of flavour and value for money.
Chinese food lovers in Pune - You all need to visit this place in season mall. I would say a must try.
Went for dinner on Saturday in Seasons Mall. Had heard a lot about their dimsums and wok. Ordered chicken dimsums and prawn wok.
Both were upto their Mark. Really enjoyed the dinner.
Would recommend to my friends to definitely try it atleast once.

Perfectly the way Chinese food should be ! Just fell in love with Five Fat monks. Had been here when it had newly opened and have been regular since then. Tried many combinations in 'Make your own Wok'. Also the name is really unique. Nothing much to say about the ambience since it is at the food court in season's mall. Definitely a full 5 rating for the prompt service, delivery and food.
I am a big lover of Chinese cuisine so I had to try this place. I ordered some hot and sour tangy soup and one make it your own way. The soup was ok but i really liked the idea about make it your own way and it turned out to be really good. I think they are a bit costly for the quantity they serve otherwise its a nice place which serves authentic Chinese food.
A lovely place to try Chinese cuisine in Pune. Situated at the food court of Seasons Mall, this place is perfect to fulfill your Chinese curving. Chicken Sui Mai Dimsums were excellent, they are open momos prepared very well and the owner claimed that they are not made of maida another reason to have it. Phat Nin Noodles were also very good. A modest place with good food having prices slightly on higher side.
The food in here is good. If you are not understanding the menu options or combos, ask the person at the counter and he would be happy to help you. I had gone there during dinner time and there not much of a commotion there. So 4-stars for the taste and service.
Food is excellent, you need to be careful of what to order though, do ask for suggestions from their staff when in doubt.

Their paneer/Tofu wok is good too, my usual combo is with Brown rice with Kung Pao sauce, carrots, broccoli and shiitake mushrooms with fried onion garnish.
I was in the food court of Season's Mall and had a craving for Chinese food and I saw this outlet. I ordered make ur own Wok- Veg and it was really nice. Very few places in Pune have the capability to ensure a nice WOK and it is one of them.

Seems this was the philosophy in mind when Abhir Khanna launched the brand of Five Fat Monks, where the focus was more on the food they offer. After having tasted splendid success in Mumbai, the Five Fat Monks are finally in Pune at two of its most happening suburbs.
At Five Fat Monks, they are inspired by the bold flavors of Southeast Asia, drawing upon the lively street food culture – but with a twist.
The interiors at the Balewali outlet, where we decided to go try the food, are extremely well done with abundant use of whites and oranges with some creative décor on the walls.
Beverages
Being on a no-sugar diet, I ordered the Fresh Lime Water Salted [Rs. 80]. Never my first choice anywhere [salted, ugh!] but well-made and overall a good drink to go with your spicy SEA dishes.
Silky Dim Sums
From the Dim Sums menu, I tried the Steamed Chicken Dim Sums [Rs. 255]. While the chicken was well-cooked and the dim sums had a good flavor, I could find no cohesion between the wrapping and the stuffing with the stuffing actually slipping out of the covers when you try to cut into it.
Bites
The Fish Chilly [Rs. 235] was a well-cooked dish but felt a little underwhelming on the palate. The Bow Wow Chili Bombay Chicken [Rs. 235] too did not impress me with its overcooked and chewy chicken.
On the other hand, the Wasabi Prawns [Rs. 290] and the Butter Garlic Prawns [Rs. 290] were both excellent dishes. Impressed us enough to re-order them. #YumYum #HighlyRecommended
Specials – Noodles
The Slurpy Suey [Rs. 300 / Rs. 320] is the Five Fat Monks take on the traditional Khao Suey. Extremely salty the first time over, the revised version tasted so much better. However could do with a little spice kick, maybe some more green chilies?

The Curried Away [Rs. 300 / Rs. 320] is the Five Fat Monks rebranding of the Thai Red Curry which was served with steamed rice. Again, very salty the first time, it tasted delicious once corrected. #DeliciousDelicious
Dessert of the Day
The dessert on offer that day was the Coconut Pancakes [Rs. 165]. Generous quantity of the sweet desiccated coconut stuffing, it went well with the vanilla ice cream served on top. #YumYum
Five Fat Monks still seems to be finding its feet with some definite improvements needed however my firm belief is that like a cat, they will land on their feet. Delicious food, efficient service and a relaxed ambiance certainly can take one far.
