Food with perfect lit ambience! A place that serves tasty non veg food. 😋😋 We were here for the 31st night and were perfectly happy to have been spent our evening here.
In starters, Chicken sattey, paneer chilly and fried corn were delicious. In desserts, gulab jamun kept us craving for more. They were very soft and yummy! Chocolate mousse was fun but felt a bit heavy on the palatte.
Not a great place for vegetarians but definitely thumbs up for non-vegetarians.

Only idle for friends and couples.The price here is economical but taste is extraordinary too yummy. The main thing which I would like to point out is the courteous staff I loved their treatment . As far as food is concerned you wont regret anything every food item is awesome and for a better experience order new dishes even try their mocktails. This is a nice bar and restaurant on boat club road. We ordered chicken shorba which was very tasty, even chicken shanghai was perfectly cooked with a tangy sauce. The service, the quantity and quality of food, the ambience is just awesome
I recently visited this place since it happened to be near the work location. The ambience is nice and comfortable. The chicken was good , though a tad bit burnt.
Their masala peanuts with beer is a wonderful combination.

I love this place!
The ambience is very pretty, and the lighting is beautiful. And outdoor seatings are my thing, too. The staff was courteous and the service was prompt.

After sipping on some refreshing beverages, we were served the Nuclear Chicken- it was spicy and beautifully cooked. I personally love spicy food, and would totally recommend this appetizer.
The prawns was another dish that won over my heart. Soft and well cooked prawns, and beautifully and generously glazed in a mixture of salt, pepper and white wine, I absolutely loved it.
The Murg Malai Adraki Tikka was also very appetizing. Succulent chicken, and beautifully marinated- another must have!
The Tandoori Chicken was spicy, juicy and perfectly roasted. I found myself licking the marinade off the plate after everyone else was done having their share.
The Murg Hyderabadi- tender, juicy, nicely grilled pieces of chicken, tossed in a lip-smacking spinach gravy- is another dish I really loved.
The Gosht Rogan Josh was sort of disappointing. Although the mutton was well cooked, the gravy was too thin, and a bit too salty. One could give it a miss.
The Murg Biryani was decent too. The quantity was good enough, and it was mildly spicy and tasted good.
The naans and rotis are smaller than the usual size that one would expect, but they were soft and not very chewy, and I especially liked the garlic naan a lot.
In all, I had a pretty good experience here, and I have to say, it's a must-visit, especially for the starters!

Located at city center, this place is too easy to locate. It is an open air place with fans rightly placed in the corners. You can enjoy IPL matches on TV while having your food (n drinks).
We had ordered Chicken Shanghai which was extremely delicious. The chicken was very soft and the dish was not spicy at all (works for.me). They serve peanuts with beer (another advantage).

The ambiance of this place is beautiful, the outdoor sit out during this summer season is intriguing except for the mosquitos.
The food is quite good. The portions are comparatively small. We ordered Chicken Chili, Murg Adraki and Paneer Shabnami Tikka for starters. The starters were delicious.
For mains we had Naan and Subz Tava Banjara which was quite delicious. For non veg mains we ordered Murg Makhani and Murg Saagwala. Both were quite good.
Service of this place was slow and they goofed up a couple of times.
Overall a good place if you want to enjoy a few drinks and starters.

I had dinner with my friends (group of 8) here last night. It was a good place. I'll break it down to location, ambience and food.
Location-
Located among different other restaurants in a building complex near Dhole Patil road. Secluded and away from koregaon park but within walking distance too.
Ambience-
Both outdoor and indoor seating available. Very soft lighting with the use of fairy lights, looks great. Small bar counter with a variety of drinks. The music was not so good. However, different people have different tastes. But on an average based on opinion from 8 people, we would rate the music playlist 2.5/5. Asked if we could play a couple of songs, but denied. Outdoor seating obviously has a lot of mosquitoes and there was no fan near our table, so it was getting a little warm. Though smoking is allowed, it is really difficult and irritating for the people in the next table to be passive smoking. The staff were friendly.
Food-
The food was good. We had curries and naan's. It's worth mentioning that the naan's were quite small in size. The waiters were taking quite a long time to bring the food. Even at the end, they took quite a while to bring the finger bowls. That was one thing we found irritating. The mojito we had was well made too.

I totally loved this place! From the outside seating to the music to the service and food, everything was great!
I visited this place on a saturday afternoon and it was not crowded.
We were attended to by courteous staff who helped us out order our food and drinks.
They have an offer in which you can order any 4 small(30ml) pegs of any IMFL drink and an appetizer in 499/-, which is a great deal.
We took this package and ordered 2 pegs of old monk and 2 pegs of smirnoff.
The mixers ofcourse, are charged for on top on this price.
We ordered Shanghai Fish as the appetizer which was amazing!
The fish was really well cooked and the spice was just right! It went really well with the drinks.
I will definitely go back here to try some more of their dishes!

A few weeks ago this place was added to our Zomato gold membership and surprisingly we had never heard about this place from our friends or family. This place was totally new to us in terms of area. Without knowing this place is a HIT or MISS we decided to give this place a try!
• The ambiance of this place is beautiful. This is an apt place for evening bites. There are fairy lights all over the place. And the music will make you wanna dance!
• The food of this place is the best part! We ordered Chicken Shangai which consisted of shredded chicken tossed in sweet chilli sauce which tasted tangy. It also had peanuts which made the dish even more delicious. Our second dish was Prawns salt and pepper which consisted of grilled prawns tossed with salt and pepper with white wine. Both the dishes where absolutely delicious and a 100% fresh!
• Service of this place was good too. The waiter had an eye on our dishes and glass and also asked a several times if we needed anything.
• We totally recommend this place and these two dishes! And yes this place was definitely a HIT for us!

Food: Had ordered the Corn Chilli (some Chinese type corn starter). Very well done and sweet/hot in the perfect ratio. Altho I would suggest, do get something else as well, can get a little monotonous after a while.
Bangla Broccoli : Wanted to order but they didn't have it
Cheese Garlic Naan : All time favorite, perfectly thin, garlic was not overpowering. One of the best ones I've had.
Classic Fries : Not a good idea to order. Found it quite bland and not crispy. If you like food less salty, then go ahead.

Open air restaurants have a beauty of their own. This restaurant is cool and chic. The angara was soft and delicious , you would like it if you prefer spicy food. Veg biryani was full of flavours . This lovely restaurant is situated in bund garden area, close to Mainland China. The lovely outdoor seating is refreshing and the loud music from the DOKK is somewhat of a plus point since Bacckyard does not need to play the music of their own. Service was swift since we did not see much customers around (it was a Monday and my birthday). We ordered chilli corn, veg bean nachos, Bangla broccoli, chicken satay, guava spice mocktail and a beer. The chilli corn was a wonderful "munching item" with the mocktail. I could have had more if only it wasn't doused in chilly flakes. The veg bean nachos (comes with two type of dips) were an utter disappointment. The Bangla broccoli was surprisingly good since I have broccoli on my plate every alternate day. The chicken satay was supposed to have some hint of peanut butter but I got none. Nevertheless, it was all right. The guava spice mocktail was refreshing (that is the only place where I like my spices). The downside of open-air ambiences is the mosquitoes. Besides these small flaws, I had a wonderful evening with my company and the service. I was satisfied. VFM: 3.5/5.ambience: 4/5.

So we celebrated our 31st December here. Food was good. I like peanut chat, crispy prawns and chiken lehsuni. Mocktail was also good I like blue lagoon and virgin mojito. We had taken couple pass for unlimited food and drinks. As it was 31st we were so high on drinks, we asked waiter to serve main course but he didnt😈. After 12' o clock everyone start leaving the place, & we didn't have our main course. So in 2500 we only get drinks and starters. That's it.

Me and my friend ended up here on a Friday afternoon when we were looking for a good place to have lunch on DP road. Yes, DP road does have a lot of options, but I was so glad we went there.
Ambience - Loved the ambience. They have wooden chairs and tables arranged outside with plants all around and the inside of the restaurant has comfortable sofas and AC. There is also music playing in the background.
Staff - Extremely attentive and courteous.
What I had -
Tawa Chicken Sandwich - Shredded chicken tossed in Indian spices, topped with fried onions and eggs and coleslaw. It was served along with fries and mayonnaise. The sandwich and the fries both tasted amazing.
Chicken Thali - This thali consisted of soup, starter, two main course, bread, dal, rice and dessert.
Soup - This is the best Chicken Monchow Soup I've ever tasted. It was so flavourful! Was served along with fried noodles that went well along with the soup.
Starter - I think it was Chicken Tikka, anyway, whatever it was, it tasted amazing. Loved how the chicken was cooked.
Main course - There was one veg and one non-veg main course. Both of the dishes had lip-smacking flavours.
Bread - Two naans were served with the thali.
Dal - This dal had all the 'homely' feels possible.
Jeera Rice - Had the right amount of cumin seeds and went well with the dal.
Salad - Consisted of 2 pieces of onions and cucumbers each.
Dessert - Freshly made gulab jamun was served at the end which completed the meal.
LOVED the food! Every dish!! Definitely a MUST VISIT!

we had a go at the Murg nizami tikka and nuclear wings were lip smacking
ambience was cozyily beautiful with pleasent lighting .

Visited this place on weekend and we were totally amazed by the food and ambience . From mocktails and starters to main course, all the things were very tasty. We ordered Paneer tikka, murga nizami tikka, egg curry and butter chicken and each and every thing was mouth watering .Staff we also very courteous. A must visit place.
Lovely place, with a nice ambience and the music was sweet to my ears. Not to loud not to low just the perfect amount where in you can talk with ur friend and enjoy the music.

Loved both the starters. The chicken was fresh, soft and juicy.
The owner of the resto turned out to my friends friend. Lovely lady, quite chatty and fun to speak with.

On a rainy afternoon I had to choose to sit inside, though the open area looked more appealing to me. Warmly welcomed by the smiles of the friendly staff, the menu was handed over to us.

Subziyon ki biryani
Gulab Jamun
2 peachy coolers, one with a mango twist.
The crispy potato Thai chili was French fries tossed in a Thai base, nice and spicy.
I really liked the kebabs, they didn't let me miss the meat. You couldn't really taste the veggies, and the kebabs were soft and aromatic with the clay oven flavor quite prominent. The biryani was quite a huge portion and tasted really nice, more like a Pulav made with whole garam masalas. Even the gulab jamuns were soft and right sweet. Amazing experience with the meal and special mention to a guy from their staff called keshav. When a smiling face attends to you during a meal, he makes the experience a happy one to remember.
Mandeep and his wife are exceptional hosts. My husband and I got married at The Bacckyard. It was a most beautiful romantic night.. Mandeep went out of his way to make everything perfect. He helped in every way he could and adjusted to all our needs and always more than met our expectations. I also should mention the food was gorgeous and each dish tasted distinctly different. The starters were spot on, the salads were perfect and the main course was yummy. In short, we got a great food and alcohol deal. We are so thankful for his kindness and for making our night incredibly memorable. Check out how gorgeous his venue looked. I have added some images.

Dim soothing and a calm ambience. Spacious seating (Indoors and Outdoors both). A good medley of Bollywood songs and rock. Good and prompt service.
The USP I would say are their offers on beers and imfls. Pretty good deals. Food is tasty, well cooked and having a variety for both veg and non veg.
Overall a pleasant experience for the weekend.

The ambience is really nice and relaxing. We ordered Punjabi food , really very well cooked and delicious lasooni kebabs, tasty Daal Makhani with crispy rotis. One of the very few restaurant to offer Punjabi food as expected. And ofcourse to mention, very efficient service .
This place is just alright in terms of ambience.Their offer is what made us stop by. 4 kingfishers + a starter veg /non veg of your choice.So the starter we ordered was a mushroom reshmi stuffed something.It was too sweet and the yellowish tint over it didn't look appetising at all.

It was not first time when I was visiting Backkyard... However it was special though. As I was in USA on my official trip. So my craving for Desi authentic food increased tremendously.
Ambience: Being at The Backkyard I felt so relaxed with the ambience, the wooden relaxing chairs are perfect to support the lower back and makes you comfortable.
Food: Chicken Shanghai was such a perfectly prepared juicy starter I have ever had.
Paneer tikka: When you know you can trust a resto for the food you are ordering to be rest assured about quality, then you get best Paneer tikka for sure. It's like a litmus test of food quality in restos in India.
Well The Backkyard passed the test with full marks :-)
Desert: Me being foodie 😜 with Puneri Punekar desert can only satisfy me at the end. And I was delighted to have Chocolate Mousse! It was yummy.
Service: Polite, prompt service with suggestions like a buddy from captains/Managers and their bosses -obviously - The owners as well.
Definitely going there again with friends and family to have soul relaxing experience again.

at first eye it looked too open for a special moment .the place was decently crowded, we were offered a quiet cozy corner by the manager.
coming to experience :FOOD : Was wondering about the menu which had some interesting names , we ordered out of curiosity the monaca paneer ..which was something new and tasted good, Murg Nizami Tikka was a royal treat from the starter. being full with starters ordered for Jamaican Rice which was rich with beans & tangy salsa....enjoyed it.

Situated in the vicinity of Mainland China, DP Road is a quaint little square called The Bacckyard with a double C. I was more than a little surprised that I hadn't come across this fine spot before. It is tastefully made. They have two kinds of seating arrangements: indoor as well as outdoor. Naturally being a nature lover I chose the outdoors which was set up with wooden furniture and lots of potted plants.
Time for ratings~
Food:
Food was excellent and filling. My friend and I had gone for a 3 course non-vegetarian meal which was astonishinhly only for 239 rupees. Quite cheap I have to say. The only flaw was I found quite a bit of ginger chunks in the chicken soup.

What a lovely ambiance! The outdoor seating is perfect for dinner, and that too for a Sunday night. We had the Anda Curry and Murg Dum Dar; both had mouthwatering gravies. I'd love to visit the restaurant soon.
#FridayNight checked this new place in town name #TheBackyard on dp road in the lane of mainland china.I liked the simple and comfortable seating setup with a different look overall.The place being new was almost empty.We ordered the chicken chilly which was well made with some lil tangy taste.The peanuts masala was good.Main course we ordered Chicken DumDaar which had a tasty gravy with some ok kind of chicken.The butter rotis were just 👍👌.Ending the remaining extra gravy with steam rice .Service was also good & price also not that high.The place had a background music sound of Bombay bronxx , which did'nt bored us at all. :)
This has probably the warmest hospitality in town. They just have right ambience and nice music to make your day. Food and is another plus. It's like a box of chocolate, pick what you like, everything is good! Also they have karaoke and dance floor if you feel groovy. Right place to chill and unwind. Going there again for sure...

Unplanned visit to a new discovery in town!
Yesterday going out for lunch with my family, while Mainland China DP road seemed fully occupied, we decided to head a little further down the complex to Sigree global grill but spotted a introductory discount billboard in between.. Funny how special offers always match with food so well! So we headed to The Baackyard Kitchen and Bar, located in the same complex just between Mainland China and Sigree. Heading to the most important part, Food!
Veg Manchow Soup- Not too spicy, but full of flavours and definitely one of the finest Soups I've tasted in the city!
Chicken Lollypop- Deep fried and crisp stuffed with chicken. It isn't too often that you come across this where even though made in oil, the dish dosent feel oily at all and all you can taste on your pallet are the flavours. These guys seem to have done a perfect job of ensuring that!
Paneer Shangai- Not very sure about the spices and flavours used to make this, but once we tasted it, we didn't care! Definitely the best dish. Paneer was fresh and soft and made us order a second helping!
Prawns Curry with Roti- Coconut flavoured and mildly spiced, the size and number of prawns was also good considering the price paid, although would definitely try this with steamed rice instead of roti next time.
Subz Nizami with Roti- Mixed Vegetables favoured in Indian spices. Mildly spiced and a filling main course in quality and quantity!
The staff was extremely hospitable and the owners too very courteous, asking for feedback and improvements. Would definitely visit this backyard again!

This place had the perfect ambiance for a date night! The cocktails are a hit and the Korean chicken is a MUST HAVE. Loved all the other food we ordered too- sushi, prawns, cheesecake and the chocolate cake, everything was just perfect! 🫶🏼

Recently had the pleasure of revisiting Asia Kitchen by Mainland China, and it certainly didn't disappoint. This was my second visit, primarily due to my love for Chinese cuisine and the impressive experience from my first time.
Among the delightful selections, the Tom Yum Soup was a highlight. Its fresh aroma, infused with kaffir lime and lemongrass, was truly invigorating. The addition of paneer/tofu, mushrooms, and broccoli provided a flavorful blend that I found particularly satisfying.
The Smoked Cottage Cheese dish was equally impressive. The blend of smoked cottage cheese with vibrant vegetables like bell peppers and broccoli offered a harmonious combination of flavors and textures.
The main course consisted of Vegetable Burnt Garlic Rice, a colorful ensemble that incorporated corn. Though I'm not particularly fond of corn in fried rice, the dish was well-prepared. To complement the slightly dry rice, we opted for the Exotic Veg in Black Pepper Sauce. The thick and flavorful sauce enhanced the overall experience.
For dessert, the Chocolate Dome stole the show. Adorned with caramel popcorn, brownie pieces, and honey noodles, the dome was a masterpiece. The grand finale involved pouring hot chocolate sauce, resulting in a decadent chocolatey explosion. While it took a bit of patience for the dome to melt, the end result was an indulgent treat that satisfied every chocolate craving.
Overall, the visit to Asia Kitchen was a symphony of flavors and a testament to their commitment to culinary excellence. The experience was a delicious journey, cementing my appreciation for their offerings.

We went for dinner as a couple and enjoyed our time together. Food was amazing and so was the service, although there was only one person taking the order - there was no delay in the food coming to our table. The freshness of the herbs, tender meat and the flavours coming together...was so good! One must visit to have a great dining experience!
If you like pan asian cuisine, Asia Kitchen by Mainland china must be on your list of restaurants to visit. They offer a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The service is quick and the staff are well versed with the menu to provide recommendations. Been here multiple times and everything we've tried was good. Highly recommended.

We stumbled upon this place located on Dhole Patil Road and tried out their 10-course set lunch menu and we were left with wide glee on our faces and tummy satisfied. The ambience is good with comfy seating arrangements. The staff here is very attentive and their service is prompt.
The 10-course menu comprises soup, dim sums, an appetizer, 2-3 main course dishes, rice, noodles and desserts.
To begin with, I enjoyed the tom yum chicken soup. It was very comforting and will provide warmth to your tummy. Followed by chicken dim sums again were superb. For an appetizer, I tried pickled pepper chicken which was perfectly done. In the main course, braised fish thai herbs, green Thai curry and stir-fried Asian greens were super rich in Asian flavours.
Vegetable hakka noodles and burnt garlic fried rice again were very authentic to taste.
We ended our meal with coconut dumpling, honey noodles and vanilla ice cream.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I highly recommend you all try out this place, trust me you won't regret it.
Visited asia kitchen for their exclusive tapas brunch menu and it worth visiting. It was a 10 course meal which included salad, sushi, dimsum, baos, soups, starters, beverages, mains and dessert to complete with. Everything was so relished by me and my sister and would definitely visit again soon.

Everything tasted amazing and food served to us was fresh. The service was good too. Overall it was a great experience at this place. Do visit.
Visited Asia Kitchen by Mainland China for the Asian Tapas Brunch and had a wonderful experience. The food was extremely delicious. I tried both veg and non-veg and honestly you can opt for either because both are equally good! Would definitely visit again!

The food in mainland China is consistently delicious. One restaurant that I particularly enjoy is the Dhule Patil restaurant. Not only is the food great, but the restaurant also offers ample parking space, a pleasant ambiance, and is suitable for both professional lunches and casual dining. Additionally, the prices are reasonable.
Good food but too much costly. Prices are exorbitant. The quantity of the portion is very small.

Soothing ambience, appetizing food and fantastic service! The menu offers a wide range of Asian cuisine - sushi, dimsums, appetizers and mains with vegetarian, seafood, poultry and lamb options. There is a good variety of noodles and rice to side it up. The food is delicious and the portions are great. They also have a couple of options in mockmeat. Chicken in Smoked Chilli Sauce and General Tao’s Favourite Chicken are a must try here. The edamame fried rice and nasi goreng are distinct and flavorful. The price matches up with the fine dine experience and service. Valet parking is available. It’s a lovely place to sample Asian cuisine.
We are two people had brunch menu which they have started recently which cost 645 per person inclusive of all tax .
You can experience good asian food; if you are Asian cuisine fan you must visit this place.

Visited Asia Kitchen for a Sunday Brunch last week. They offer an amazing 10-course unlimited Asian Tapas Brunch experience at 1045++ only.
The place has got premium vibes and decor is inspired from across the Far East regions. The food variety indicates the same as they serve Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Indonesian, Malaysian food classics and more.
Food was served on the table based on number of people seated and can be ordered again if required. Everything was simply superb in terms of taste, quality, portion size and service. We enjoyed our time thoroughly, the experience was worth every penny.

The 8 course Set menu consists of Soups, Salads, Starters, Main course and Desserts.
In Starters We loved the Pickled Pepper Chicken , Prawn tempura roll & Thai Style chicken.
For Main course the Prawn Miso Chili with Hakka noodles was pretty awesome.
The dessert was definitely worth the wait. The Hot Chocolate roll & Coconut Dumpling was splendid.
So, for any Special Celebration/Kitty parties or that Family Get together Asia kitchen is the Perfect venue for your Special day.
It's an Open Kitchen restaurant. Food is quite hygienic and taste is good. The open kitchen causes a lot of noise of utensils and the smell of food is spread in the restaurant, so if you want to go for taste, please go, but if you want to go for a peaceful dining experience, I'd say look for somewhere else
