The word 'Imdad' stands for aid or help. As well known publicly, this eatery is setup only for 30 days of Ramazan by 12 gentleman over the years. The idea is to donate the profits for charitable purposes. So its charity coupled with delicious food. I for one have been a regular diner since 2010. The food served is actually very good. This year we had Tandoori Chicken, Seekh Kebab, Chicken Bagdadi, Tandoori Roti, Khichda and Kharbuza Falooda. Food quality and quantitiy is decent. Pricing is equal to that of restaurants but is compensated by its taste which is actually very good. Kebabs are grainy and soft and propery grilled. Tandoori chicken was very tender given the fact that it was grilled on sigdi and not closed tandoor. Only let down can be Ambience but this is actually a temporary setup. All in all a very satisfying experience. A must visit for the sheer volume and variety of food on display (feast for the eyes) and of course the festive feel of Ramazan.
We every year visit this place during ramzaan month and this is perfect place in camp for Non - Veg lovers😍.
They have huge variety of non - veg options and also have beef options available.
Things you can try
Mutton seekh kebab
Mutton biryani
Chicken kadai
Chicken cutlet
And many more
Desserts are also good options.
You have to buy food coupons first then place your orders using the coupon and huge space seating and good food
Must visit place in camp
The food is average-good. Worth trying. Imdadi is an absolutely great to try wide variety of food under one single roof. It's easy on your pockets too.
I've tried chicken samosa, chicken til palak, chicken kadi gosht, chicken sheekh kebab, tandoori roti, and chicken imdadi special.
I recommend: chicken til palak and chicken imdadi special
Must visit during Ramadan for iftar. Lots and lots to dine from. The starters and main course to desserts, Imdadi Hotel during this time of the year is the complete package. Rates are very reasonable and the token system quite effective for quick service. And they also allow the return of unused tokens for cash which ensures minimum wastage. Mind the crowd and be quick on your feet to find seats. Best time to visit is between 1900 (7:00 PM) and 2100 (9:00 PM) hrs.
Very nice place to have non-veg food during Ramadan only.. Tried a few snacks and imdadi special chicken.. The taste is awesome.. Must try once
The holy month of ramadan calls for some feast. And what better place than this!
Got to know of Imdadi only this year, while I have been a regular visitor to camp during ramadan. They have a huge space that is covered with pandal and good seating area.
Chicken seekh kebab: 10/10
Chicken Korma: 10/10
Khameeri Roti (tandoori): 20/10
Yes. KHAMEERI ROTI. Do taste some and belive me, you will relish it. (Made as a tandoori roti, but the dough is kept overnight by adding yeast).
The service is a bit slow, else the place is a foodie's delight.
Best place to have variety of food at reasonable price in Camp area.
enjoy the Ramadan festival with testy food and rich sweet dishes.
Service is good, food quality and quantity is good.
Parking facility is there, token system is there to place an order
A must place to visit in every Ramzan. It was drizzling a little so we sat inside. Or love to sit outside. I feel the service is faster outside. The khichada's taste is still there with me. We did not eat much as we had starters. But the roll and baida roti was spicy and both had the same filling.
When it comes to non veg then taste is important and this is the best place you can get variety of curries, dry and sukka chicken, beef, mutton ....
Different flavors of very good quality faluda makes your food complete.
Also do not forget to try dalcha which is the favorite dish here.
They are fast, polite and super tasty food.
We were 7 people and we took - tandoori, faludas, murgh musallam, beef(I don't eat beef but for friends) and it cost is only 2800 ..... Cost is very less compare to other places in camp.
Strongly recommend this place for non veg lovers ... No veg choices here so if you are only veg person on group then I suggest you better keep your food arranged before going inside.
Shahi tukda is available also.
Thanks for reading my review and pls like and share for other people help.
Regards,
Joy
Taste is best ! Lots of variety ,service is good ,can go with family and friends , try to go with group so that you can order many items & taste it
One of the best places to have amazing iftaar food. Adequate seatings available and separate space for family as well. The food is amazing. Tandoori chicken is out of this world. Even dishes like 65, lollipop are better than many other places. Main course dishes and biryani also are worth having. It's reasonable as well.
Enjoyed good variety of nonveg (chicken/mutton) meal during Ramadan month. Very well managed during peak hours of Ramadan, must visit during this month along with family to enjoy different varieties of nonveg and sweet Dishes.
Update Apr 2023: A full Murg Mussallam is enough for group of 8-10 people. --x-- Reviewed on 25 May 2018.
Imdadi Hotel, one of the best place to have dinner during Ramadan (Ramzan). It's open only during Ramadan month. Within budget. Four of us had full non veg dinner (staters, main course, desserts) in INR 1000 only. Though they serve some veg food, not recommended for pure vegetarians. Dishes rating chicken tikka 2/5, chicken seekh 2/5, tanduri roti 5/5, biryani 3/5, Kashmiri (pista shake) 4/5, shahi tukda 4/5, chicken rashida (main course gravy) 4/5.
Good place to have a iftaar food
Only available during ramzan
Visited this place after 2 years
Avoid peak hours for better service and parking availability
Token system is good
Check the price at counters as well as the waiters charge extra
Some items are good whereas some are just average
Cost has increased a lot , not value for money now
Palak til chicken was good
Buff seekh is very good, must try
chicken seekh highly overpriced at 120 and very dry
buff kheema was very delicious and reasonably priced went well with tandoori roti
Must try chicken malai tandoor
Kharbuza falooda is delicious but too much overpriced, used to be for 70 , now it’s 100 for a glass ( medium sized)
Kashmiri Sharbat is good , small glass for 40
very good for doin iftar.. nicely organised, loved the token concept, fast served.. food tasty.. ° مَا شَاءَ ٱللَّه °
