I had shira there. One the most delicious shiras I have ever had. Shame quantity was so small but tastes was delicious. Will visit again. Staff first told shira wasn't available, when i was moving away they called me back and told me about the availability.
A no frills, good food place. I was really hungry, waiting for my bus. Was very skeptical when I entered this place. Asked the waiter thrice about what was good here and finally ordered paneer butter masala and butter naan.. It was so much better than what I had expected. The paneer was soft and the gravy butter with the right amount of sweetness. Will definitely visit again whenever I'm at the bus stand again.
Just had breakfast today morning at this small but good restaurant located at just a stone's throw from Shivaji Nagar Railway station in Pune.
Our agenda was clear - have tea at Yewle Amrutalaya (situated next to Hotel Swagat)and a quick breakfast anywhere around the area before we proceeded to work. Decent ratings on Zomato help us choose this restaurant over many others in the locality.
Breakfast was simple, hearty and absolutely filling. Masala dosa, Mysore Masala and Rava Onion Masala dosa was what we ordered. The quantity was absolutely perfect, so much that even hours after breakfast we are still not hungry! The coconut chutney was fresh and sambar, nice and spicy. It was a wonderful start to the day, something which I would call as complete paisa vasool!
Very close to Shivaji Nagar railway station, quick service and decent food.
Visiting here since many years South Indian food is good here. Pav bhaji, Veg. Maratha, Paneer Chingari & Veg. Chilli Milli are very delicious. They also serve good thali.
If you are in Shivaji Nagar looking for good food and quick service with okay ambience this is the place.
If you are looking for a pocket friendly quality food. You can come to swagat. Located near the shivaji bus stand, the hotel is mostly crowded. The food served is amazing. You can try dal khichdi, curd rice, south indian food, mastani (dessert) over here. The only issue is how the owner/ manager talks to/ shouts on his staff in front of customers which sometimes bring negativity in the restaurant.
If you are in Shivajinagar bus stand and looking for some low budget but good food to fulfill your hunger,You can definitely try Swagat's Limited veg thali for just 120rs.
It is more than sufficient for your lunch/Dinner.
All food items are good & special mention for chapatis for being ultra soft ...!
Service is quick.

Hotel Swagat, it literally translates to 'Welcome', and to be quite honest its the only restaurant near Shivajinagar station which actually looks welcoming. And so, I tried it one late evening. A quick grub is what I had in mind, and I got the perfect answer in MASALA PAV!! It was great! Good presentation was not what I was expecting form here, but the dish was good enough for me to take 4-5 pictures form different angles. The masala bhaji wasnt too spicy, being consistent all over, and in every bite. It was quite a deal for 50 bucks!
The interiors of the hotel are not at all fancy, just the basic. Clean tables, comfortable attached chairs. It just has about 4-5 tables in there, but lucky for them they have placed a larger no. of tables outside compared to indoor seatings. The service is average, dont look for any special treatment.
Eager to try something else apart form just masala pav, soon I came in here again for a family lunch. Starting off with starters (Duh!!!) we ordered a VEG. CRISPY. This dish, and its over all exprience made me loose quite an amount of faith form this place. It took a great amount of time to reach our tables, and apart form that, noting about Veg. Crispy was crispy. The vegetables were a bit soggy and far away form being crispy. Despite the fact that the taste was not bad, the absence of the crunchiness spoiled the mood.
Then an all scale attack on the veg.mains, ordering PANEER TIKKA MASALA and VEG. KHOLAPURI, not to forget butter rotis and naans! Both the punjabi dishes were hefty, and the sober presentation got me a couple of images! Taste wise it was decent, not bad at all. Be it the thick gravy with small cottage slabs floating on it, or the medium spicy veg kholapuri, filled with more vegetables than I could name. A complete punjabi meal was on our table, and the picture.
Good service, tasty and highly affordable food, if these three stuff too your to do list, the dont let anything or anyone stop you form trying this nice and decent place, just at the shivajinagar station!
P.s- Serving pre packed, sweet and sugar coated mouthfreshners after the meal is a crafty idea!!
Happy Burping!!!
I have been here for many times...the restaurant provide good quality North Indian food.. Must have to try dal tadaka.. Caring staff... But sometimes feel they are charged more than they deserve according to place and ambience.
With short of time , a pure vegetarian restaurant near the Shivajinagar railway station which tastes good :)
Food: We had Swagat Special which comprised of 2 sabjis clubbed in one ,mix veg and a paneer bhurji , Paneer was awesome to taste, mix veg was okay. The rotis were hot and chapatis soft. They lit up a tomato for us as it was Valentines day. The koshimbir salad needed to be less sour ,the gulabjamuns to be more sweet and royal in taste, inspite of asking waiter to heat them he gave us lukewarm .
Ambiance : decent, needs AC.
Service: slow, need to show promptness.

Nice place if your looking for a quick bite near the bus stand. Fast service and thali options also available here. Pleasant environment despite of being located at a busy locality.
It's a very decent and a simple hotel, i had ordered the veg club cheese toast sandwich, it was worth the price, a big one having a veg cutlet in it, loaded with cheese and veggies and served with french fries, one is more than enough to avoid lunch for person of average appetite. the ambience is good compared to the location, a very neat and clean restaurant, highly recommended for a pure vegtrn.
If you are in shivajinagar finding good veg restaurant then swagat is good option for u!! Good food they serve ... must try mushroom masala and veg Patiala!
Nice restaurant serving good Indian and Chinese food ....also I love the soups of this place...after any party we come here for a heavy meal.....
Good place with a quick service!!!!!
The place is right next to the bus stand which makes it easy for getting there. The place is inviting!!
Nice and quite place. Service us good and prices are reasonable. Have lots of variety. Just outside Shivaji Nagar station. I would definitely like to visit again.

This is an amazing must try restaurant in Pune. It is located in the lane adjacent to Shivaji Nagar railway station. We were scouting a place to have lunch and there were many in line to choose from but this place attracted us the most. it was relatively newer restaurant and the staff were as enthusiastic as they should be. They invited and took us to the family lounge the ambiance was very calm and decent for what it was mess on the railway station road.
We ordered 3 normal thalis and 3 delux thalis the quantity was in proportion with the cost and our hunger. The taste of the food items were great. One of the complimentry juice that came with the delux thali was exceptionally amazing (sorry I forgot the name) and the staff provided one more on request from us. The pricing was pretty decent. A must try.

We had ordered paneer chingari, butter roti, Dal tadka and jeera rice. Paneer chingari was delicious and I recommend it to others. The service was good and at the end they also provided with a packed of mouth freshener. 😀
Quality food at reasonable rates in Shivajinagar area
Indoor and outdoor seating available. Generally Crowded in evening but you won't have to wait longer to get a sit here.
Good ambience .nice crowd. Cleanliness is maintained. Service is good. Doest takes too much time to serve your order.n Also not so expensive.
Good good and very reasonably priced dishes. Hygiene can be improved a bit. But disappointed with waiters's Marathi understanding skills.
Good place to have a quick food near Shivajinagar St stand. Food Quality is good.

Good Hotel with good price close to Pune Shivajinagar bus stand....taste is good... family atmosphere....He was going in cleaning the floor if they could clean the rest room every 4 hours atleast it would be good. Restrooms were stinking.
Once I had lunch at this hotel....I ordered a thali for my mom and me....it consisted of three types of sabzis....dal...curd....sweet dish...two rotis...some side items...and rice....the meal was really awesome....I was damn hungry and it not only served my hunger bt also my tongue....there are two types of thalis ...the one which I ordered and a delux thali....the latter serves more amount and variety...and the rates are accordingly ....some boys in front of me ordered sandwiches for a quick snack.....hence this hotel is all in one....and will rarely disappoint you..😁😁
