It was an after work dinner with colleagues. I walked in after a long tiring day, and the decor instantly cheered me up. Walls adorned by both Marvel and DC characters alike, comic strips on pillars and Justice League standing tall in a corner made my day! The bat signal above the bar counter called us and we went. The whole place was empty on account of it being a week night and just 7.30. We had the whole place to ourselves. The DJ was friendly and even let us play the music for a while *so cool* !
Coming to the food, both veg and nonveg starters were delicious. We had our tummies full from the starters themselves. Would definitely recommend *Chicken lollipop, Nachos, Manchurian* Though the pizza was a hit and miss.
Go here for the LIT decor, ample dance floor, prompt service and titbits.

I would call it an average place to hang out with friends. Food is average however service is quick. This is the only upside that I found worth a mention. Staff is friendly and curtious.

We ordered Masala fries, Basil Chilly Chicken, Veg Schezwan Fried Rice and Veg Manchow Soup and a Nutcracker burger. The Basil Chilly Chicken and Veg Schezwan Rice were both outstanding. The Manchow soup and the Masala fries were good too. The burger was nothing special... But it was probably one of those things that I shouldn't have ordered in the first place. Prices were quite reasonable.
Always ask for bbc == sagar for personilzed service if com@ing before 6 as it is very quite till then.its buzzing in evening.resonable price for food which is good.however for beer and other drinks feel they should have happy hour as no one comes till 6.hence found kingfisher pitcher at 520 little expensive.as no happy hour rate.

Being an ardent Batman fan, this place was definitely up my alley for my birthday. The whole place is concepualized around characters from the DC and Marvel universe with props and decor including the walls, windows and table tops adorning the caped-crusaders. The food is pretty good compared to what we had expected. We ordered a ton a finger food to feed a small nation everything from pizzas to pastas to nachos. The staff was polite and made sure we were had a great time even though our stay surpassed their closing time.
Special shoutout to the Batman String Centrepiece hanging above the bar giving me all the life that i needed on my Name Day😁
Me and my husband went in on a saturday when they had a stand up comedy night.. it was well organised and the stand up artists wer also brilliant.. we had a couple of "kryptonites" an amazingly theme based power drink along with which we had ordered a few munchies which were tasty too..
Overall the ambience is gr8 and both of us being marvel fans we loved the experience
The owner was also there and paid personal attention to all tables which is a great gesture.

I and fee of my friends had visited this place on a Saturday night. The place has nice interiors and have placed all comic characters at different places. When we reached the place we came to know that there was a stand-up comedy war going on between the participants. The whole time we were there was laughter therapy for us. Coming to the main part, the food, we all being vegetarians had ordered for cheese corn balls and Crostini. Both of them tasted good. Also one of my friend ordered for mushroom soup which was mind blowing. We ordered for few regular drinks along with the speciality in the power drinks as suggested by the staff. Hulk smash was the name and as the name suggested we were smashed with the alcohol contents in it. For the main course we ordered cottage cheese shashlik and veg spinata pizza which was a different kind of a pizza what we never tasted till date. The staff was quite helpful and service was good. The overall experience was amazing and will be visiting the place again for sure. Highly recommended for having a good time with friends.
Had been there last Thursday night with couple of friends. The place is well made with all comic characters and comic books placed on the tables for comic lovers. As soon as you enter the place you get to witness the justice league wall and to my surprise they have kept Thor hammer which is difficult to pick up. As I entered, I was welcomed by the friendly gesture from the staff. The place had good music being played. We tried few power drinks which were something new and tasted amazing, highly recommended. Ordered veg nachos and jalepeno croquettes in starters and veg napoliana pizza. The pizza was amazing and had perfect blend of veggies. Over all good place good music and amazing food. Highly recommended. Awaiting kingfisher draft beer which was told will be available in a weeks time. Will visit soon for live screening of the matches. Nice hangout place with a cool comics theme. Food is good, pizza was delicious. Ambience is also fine and not really heavy on the pocket. If you are around then this is a nice joint to visit with friends.

Me and my Wife, we Iove this place. Sometimes you don't need many reasons to like a place, don't need review of food, etc etc. You just like it for the way it's made. But if I still need to know how's the food, then whatever we have tried till now here, we have never regretted it. People staying around NIBM, Undri, Mohammad wadi should once try this place.
Just remember, you don't go to a place coz u have good crowd there, you go coz u have some awesome friends/ family that make an awesome crowd wherever you go.
Your very own local neighborhood comic bar, with a ever so lively decor that adds to the vibe. Not to forget Thor's hammer that you can lift, I'm sure all of us wanted to. Great finger food and thin crust pizza's The Road House Blues (chicken based starter) got me craving for more :)

But a very decent makeshift place if you feel like like having a few drinks with good food mixed up with decent music and a pub like ambiance .
For those who love comics, this place can be heaven:) for those who don't, well, its great too! Food music, fun hourly offers and games! Yeahh! Drink, eat and play! Wear masks, pretend to be characters, have all the fun you can. I visited this with place with my office friends in a Friday evening. The place is pretty interactive and will not bore you! A great place to visit with friends, to chill out and play jenga :p!
A Great Motif with Superheroes and Villains littered all over the walls and window panes so it does give evidence that the owner has taken pains to create the right atmosphere. However the general arrangement of the lights and the interiors could have been scaled up to match the motif. Coming to the food, the Chicken and the Prawn minestrone Soup had a heavy tomato base but still pleasant while the Pan Roasted Prawns and the Pepper Chicken were perfect. The only lag was the mains where the BBQ Sauce in the Over Roasted Chicken was really sweet and salty. The service was fast and the staff friendly so worth visiting this joint

Well the alcohol prices are reasonble which is a plus...The staff is good but the area and location isnt great as the Comic Bar is but nevertheless a good experience overall...Hope to visit it soon..:-)

It was one of the best handmade pizzas I ever had and also it has that tangy taste which remains on your tongue for a long time.
Alfredo pasta, though it was little bit undercooked creamy cheese always wins my heart..

This place is quite far from my house. I visited it last to last weekend. I had red wine and a Russian salad which was nice and tasty. The ambience is really nice. All the comic characters have been put up here in this bar which looks really cool and interesting.
Nice ambience along with good music I tried Mexican pizza n red bay chicken along with barbecue chicken in main course they have good service with awesome food. Cool place to hang out...Must try it...
Well this place is quite economical and the typical 'small & cute' type! Interiors are just about okay ! Food is quite better than most of the other bars! Quite a decent place to be at with your friends around ! Do visit this place after 8 on weekends !
This is a late post though. I went there with my wife on a Saturday late evening. When we entered the place it was difficult to find a place initially. The place is nicely done up with superheroes theme. We ordered for pepper chicken and cheese chilly toast and meaty pizza. We had heard a lot about the power drinks and decided to go for hulk smash and the hammer. The food was mouth watering and had amazing taste and the power drinks were really powerful. They also have a DJ playing on weekends which makes the place very lively. Crowd was lovely and the staff was

I visited the place on Saturday eve with couple of friends. The interior were very unusual and nicely done up. The DC and marvel theme is nice and quirky. We ordered jalapeño cheese croquets and veg nachos, both were tasty and nicely cooked. The pastas and pizzas were amazing and reasonably priced. Overall it was an amazing experience and the place is highly recommended. Will be surely visiting again.

Powerhouse is a quirky Restobar which has came up on the theme of comics.
It is located at undri,NIBM road.
I got a chance to visit this place as part of Zomato meetup.
As soon, as I entered, the ambiance of the place including the comic characters graffiti made me think that this place can surely be an adda for comic aficionados.
The ambiance is nice and cosy to chill out with your friends while munching finger food and fast food along with drinks.
After chatting with fellow foodies and Zomato representatives and the owner of the place, we started off with the drinks, aptly called the Power drinks.
We got to taste 6 of them including stark missile, hulk smash, kryptonite, the wolverine, death stroke and hammer.
Post that we began with the starters which included Veg Crostini, Blackened Chicken Fingers, Roadhouse Blues, Pepper Chicken, Red Eyed Chicken and Jalapeno Cheese Croquettes.
The starters were delicious with my favourite being the Red Eyed Chicken which was laced with special spices, Blackened Chicken fingers which were crispy and roadhouse blues which had saucy chicken dices.
We were also shown a demonstration of how the bartender prepares the drink.
They also have comic character masks, so we got a chance to wear those masks and get clicked.
Followed by this we had the main course including pasta and pizza.
Now, their pasta and pizza were just okay for me.
So, this is the only area where I think they can improve.
Rest, they are absolutely kick-ass and if they market themselves properly(owing to a different location of the city), they'll surely be going places.
A good place with nice ambience and food. Need anything to suit the mood and taste just ask for AMAR. Starters, salads, pasta and burgers are really good. They need to work on deserts. Service is at par as well. Cheers

Powerhouse
A meetup at a comic themed club seemed interesting, and turned out to be even more interesting. Even though it took me an age to get to this place, the ambience and food made for it in no time.
The walls and tables were all painted of everyone’s favorite superheroes, DC and Marvel came together at this place, and one doesn’t get to see that often. There were comics on the table, Comic themed menus, comic themed cocktails, pretty much comic themed everything
The evening started with cocktails for everyone, I had ‘The hammer’, and I was pretty close to getting hammered, that drink I’ll tell you was pretty effective. I was informed that the cocktail consisted of whiskey and white rum (powerful combination I suppose).
Cocktails were accompanied with snacks like chicken fingers, veg crostinis, jalepeno cheese croquets. All of them were delicious, 'roadhouse blues' stood out , the sauce on it was well.. Delicious would be an understatement. There was a cocktail demo which the bartenders put up for us, beautiful I would say.
Next came the pizzas and pastas which were honestly average in my opinion, they could do a better job in this area
We ended the night with some pictures and selfies. While leaving we got a chance to pick up the ' Thor hammer', I'll leave it upto you to find out what that is all about

The Avengers of the world and the spidermans of the world may probably never come together in a movie but if you want see all these amazing DC and Marvel comics characters is at one place then you ha to head to PowerHouse-The Comic Bar in NIBM, Pune.
A very nice and vibrant comics themed joint where you can spend gala time with friends, feel like superheroes withe their gigantic superhero size power house drinks and try to do something that Iron Man, Hulk, Barton or Captain America couldnt do - Lift THOR's HAMMER.
After long wait it was the Zomato Meetup Time again at this wonderful place. The menu was as strong as some of these comic characters beginning with the Power Drinks. A line up which read Kryptonite, Start Missile, Hulk Smash, Death Stroke, Hammer and the Wolverine. The drinks were a fine combination of various liquors, each one a legend by itself and an absolute must try. This also shows the skilled craftsmanship of the the Bar Master Boris, thank you to him for creating such master pieces.
The food line up was equally mouth watering, with starters such Veg Crostini(The best i have eaten for a long time), Jalapeno Cheese Croquettes, road house blues, darkened chicken fingers.
Moving on to the main course i think The Spinneta was a wonderful amalgamation of two varied pizza toppings spinach and sun dried tomatoes, both coming together with their distinct taste coming together and creating a symphony of flavors. The Chicken Mexicana was equally good too.
The pasta in white sauce with broccoli was at its cheesy best. Thanks Neha, who runs this place we also got a lesson in preparation of some amazing mocktails. My personal favourite the Rattle Snack a combination of Dark Rum, White Rum spike with Peach Liqueur.
This was such a nice place and all of us were so engrossed with our conversations and the lip smacking food and the amazing decor that we didnt realize that we had spent almost three hours and it was time to head home.
My verdict: Whether your are a Comic Fan or not you need to visit this place for the fantastic food and the relaxed ambiance they offer. I would like to thank Zomato and their team Vaishnavi and Aparajita for inviting me and a Very Big Thank you to the Neha and The PowerHouse Team for creating a such lovely place and also for being such wonderful and lovely hosts.
i look forward to my next visit here which should be soon. I remember one of the discussions we had during my visit where we talked about how this place was their canvas and its upto them what comes up on it. Located at undri, this place always made me wonder about the quality of food and the ambience.
When I was invited for a zomato meetup I was quite excited due of the numerous good reviews I had received from my friends.
A comic con themed restaurant this place not only pleases us with the the decor but also makes us wonder more about what more it has to offer. Especially the power drinks that are the specialty of the place with names like stark missile, hulk smash ,kryptonite , the wolverine , death stroke and hammer.
Not just the bar menu but the food menu is also quite satisfactory. The roadhouse blues, jalapeno cheese croquettes and blackened chicken fingers are a must try with your drinks.
The chicken Mexicana and spinatta is also worth a shot in the pizzas.
This place is surely recommended to people looking to catch good food and deals on drinks during a match day or to chill out with friends.

The place is every comic book fan or hero loving nerds dream come true, café-wise. Great music coupled with lip-smacking food and cocktails that will make you want to keep ordering even after closing time (if possible). The place is very well done with Comic Art everywhere. The Bat Signal is the only photo with me for now but I could take photos all day there, it's that awesome. Worth a visit, actually worth multiple many infinite visits :) #NerdsRule
Nice place to chill out with friends... Most of the food and drinks in the menu were not available.... But still we had a great time... My friends were photo maniacs they got to take a lot of pics... They provided us with superhero masks..... They had thors hammer... All the superhero wall and windows were good.... Only drawback is that they dont have a full menu... Other wise all food ordered tasted good.... The prawns was amazing in particular....

This place was so much needed in this area, the spinach pizza and the power cocktails bare so crazy... The hulk smash wis genuinely strong, the primevra pasta and the cheese corn balls were good. We loved the decor and clicked many pics over there... The energy on ind Pak match day was also great, i would recommend Power House for sure.
Had heard about this place and thought I'll visit this place as i am fond of Superheros. And the theme made of Superheroes was really Impressive. Food and ambience was really good. The nutcracker burger and POWERDRINK were great. Even this place provide you with screening. In all total the place is worth visiting. 😍
Finally a concept bar like this in NIBM was so much needed, I am die hard Batman fan and had happy tears looking at the Bat signal made out of thread. The food was great, specially the pizzas, the offers were throughout the T20 which I appreciate and double shots by the end of the match while whistling and cheering with everyone made it memorable.
This place is all about having a good time with a pinch of nostalgia to it, food is great.. Power cocktails are powerful enough that one power cocktail can make you fly and the decor just takes you back to those colorful days but with current fun habbits ;) one has to try the BBQ chicken wings and mushroom thin crust pizza and for some good high the Hulk Smash will smash the soberness out of you...
I went there a couple of times after I noticed their flyers in the newspaper. Being a huge comics fan myself, I simply loved the decor. I was alone the times I went there but I had a great time relaxing. Whatever I ordered was good. I liked their Greek Salad, but I have to mention that their French onion soup was lovely. Yes, I agree with the other reviewers that the staff are extremely polite and helpful. I'm sure to visit this place again when I go back to Pune next vacation. With more publicity, this restaurant is sure to click.

Visited this place last Saturday with a friend. Was completely empty during a time where most other bars and hang outs are super full. Was kinda creepy actually being there all alone. The place is done up beautifully with an obvious superhero theme. The décor is simply too good actually. We decided to order some 2 starters which were both unavailable so we finally had to settle on cheese fries which were really okay. The mocktails that we decided to order were again both unavailable so we ordered a 3rd drink suggested by the waiter. It was again, okay. Nothing to mention. All in all has the potential to become a greattttt hang out in an otherwise boring area in terms of places to hang out at.
One of the coolest place in town ! I happened to have visited The Comic Bar on a Saturday night with a couple of friends.. And I was blown away by the ambiance. Perfect place for DC and Marvel fans !

So glad that finally we have a bar in this area. Very newly opened so wasn't really crowded when we walked in at 10pm. But this place is my new favourite, the staff is extremely courteous and kind, the ambience is fun and quirky the food was delicious and to top it off their bartender is a true GENIUS. This place made my day. We ordered the seafood burger and pasta in prawns and garlic. We were extremely confused about the drinks as they have such an interesting collections of cocktails till the owner helped us out by making us taste some sangrias they were trying out for the menu and honest to god the best sangrias in Pune. We ordered the strawberry and melon one. But once our food and drinks came in we were extremely pleased with the taste and quantity. Although they are still testing the drinks menu so some drinks might not be available just for a couple of days but the bartender can definitely whip up something to your liking, and we had asked for spaghetti and got Penne but we didn't mind as it was way too yummy.
Overall the food and drinks were exquisite at extremely nominal prices and they are open till as late as possible. This has to be the the most happening place on this side of town. Truly in love

Yeah, finally a decent pub/bar near my house. I can just walk back if I'm too drunk :p .. Well had dinner here few days back and was mesmerized with their broccoli soup and Pasta was nice as well. Overall a very good place with decent ambience. They have super heroes theme BTW :)
The ambience made me go back to all of my childhood memories. Everything is placed very well and the service is also quick. The pizzas are mouthwatering and as expected very delicious. The starters are made in a best way to compliment the alcohol. The power drinks (cocktails) are highly recommendable. The place is open till late and that's the advantage for the neighbourhood. Well, when I walked in, I felt like I had walked into a fantasy of mine! The villain's wall and the Gotham City wall is my favourite part of the ambience, but nothing beats the Thor Hammer placed at the entrance!!!
The food is excellent, especially the thin crust pizzas & most of the starters. And the power drinks are just wow! For a person who likes cocktails, do try their new concoctions, you will love them!
It's been a week, and I am already a regular! P.S. They have comics and games as well! The supercool geek in me is so so happy! :-D
Ensconced in the quiet corner of NIBM it was a revelation to me on my Pune travels to come across a theme based outlet serving good food with drinks.. Having seen more of the theme based restaurants trying to play safe with more acceptable themes this was a surprise as it pays homage to all the Heroes and Villains alike that we have been reading about or watching on the big screen..
The ambience makes up for the long travel to the place and the finger food is great in taste as it is in quality.. I look forward to visiting some events that the new place with its freshness promises to host over the coming months..
On a cold winters night Powerhouse was a pure delight. The staff was warming, the service enthusiastic and the food was spot-on. Everything that came to the table was mouth watering. Tried a couple of drinks too, an innovative way of preparing the drinks i must say. it is also important to note that drink serving sizes are more than what you expect, the way i love. They also made sure while you leave the place, there is a good amount of money left in your pocket. Awesomely reasonable!!!

Excellent concept and execution. Place is just the right size to be a launcher for a Saturday night. Don't get me wrong the place is good on any day of the week. New staff but well trained and helpful.
Ambience gets top marks, they got the whole comics thing down perfectly, even the cutouts are fully original and perfectly done. Decent food and plenty of options.

Great theme n very pretty place with a dj , a little cramped though. Food is average but nice place to go with friends. If u have 20-30 people u can have the whole place for a party.
Nice place with wonderful staff. the theme of superheroes is throughout the place from coasters to wall graphics. They also provide table games like Jenga, which are good fun.
