The melting pot is a well-known food joint in Pune.
Their speciality is pavbhaji.
I liked their cheese pavbhaji the most
If you stay in a hostel or pg and craving for some home made simple food then this is the place to go...although I havenβt tried everything here but their roti and paneer Bhurji is delicious and very homely...
Amazing ambiance staff is very polite service was superb food was less oil and less spicy
Great everything is on times my table keep it up the melting pot βΊβΊβΊβΊπππππππ

Cheese, capsicum, and onion pizza and veg fried rice at The Melting Pot
The pizza was okayish and wasn't served with oregano and chili flakes. They have got Pineapple pizza and Jain pizza on the menu as well that I dared not try.
The fried rice was quite tasty and served with a schezwan chutney. I think I smelled a hint of MSG in the rice but am not so sure. So check with the waiter once before ordering.
They have got a nice assortment of ice creams and shakes as well that I am yet to try.
The ambience is nice for casual meets and gatherings. The interior is very neat and clean. There's a big screen TV that's tuned into sports channels. There is no AC but it is not a problem if you sit close to the fans.
The food is very affordable. You will get fulfilling options within 150 bucks. Drop in whenever.
This has been our go to place since years. Their preparation is different from most of the restaurants and tasty at the same time. They have recently introduced non-vegetarian dishes in their menu which are really good. This place is highly recommended if you want to try good food without burning a hole in your pockets.
This is the best place to go to if you're looking for a cost friendly joint and if you're craving some thick chicken gravy and naan. Their butter chicken is the best I've tasted in a while. And their starters (boneless one particularly) are yummy. I've gone there a few times now and taken some friends along too. It's been consistently good food, good service and friendly staff. It's become my regular. :)
taste of parathas was good and delivery man was quiet polite
Small but nice place with great taste... Affordable food range... Ambiance is also good.. Though place is small still they have maintained the place... Great place for family dinning because of taste..... Foodies must try melting pot.... Definitely everyone will love it
A stop for a quick bite. Offers Almost all types of snacks like Pav bhaji, Chinese etc. Also serves the Punjabi gravy dishes with breads like naan, tandoori roti etc. Variety of juices and milkshakes are also served. Ambience is quite good. And the service too is quite good.
Food 3.5/5
Ambience 3/5
Service 3.5/5
The ambiance of this place is not big or decorative.. But the taste of the food was awesome.. We had ordered Paneer Gungru and Manchurian Dry with Rotis n Jeera Rice.. The only thing that dint please me was the slow service they provided.. Rest everythng was a great to satisfy my dinner.. @akashchandgude
It's a good place with reasonable price.. the quality is good.. staff is lil laid back bt the taste is amazing one should try paneer chaska maska, panner amritsari, pav bahji is also good.. a normal n decent ambience..
The paneer here is too good and the butter parantha have a home-like taste. The food is value for money. It's a regular dinner spot for the nearby college students. One thing you should know that the staff is rude and not at all courteous.
A little heavy on the pocket considering it is located very close to Symbiosis, Khadki. The ambience is pretty decent and the place is decent
The food is pretty decent. I tried the aaloo cheese paratha and the Gobi paratha and they were surprisingly good. The Cold coffee was a little milky for my liking but my friends loved it. I would recommend the cheese capsicum toast if you want to have a small snack! :)

Damn good place tasty food....and really great service!!!!!
I go there about 2-4 times a week
The only problem being serves only veg food!
Bang for buck!!!!!
Love the the table next to the window..
The paav bhaji is must try and paneer 65 is my personal favourite.Β
The management is highly customer friendly and their service is on point. A full score for the hygiene and cleanliness too!
Total value for money offering for vegetarian food lovers. We ordered mix veg paneer, dal makhni, laccha paratha, tawa roti, masala papad and jeera rice. I must say all were very good and portion size was also sufficient for 2 person. Only downside is their staff who lacks knowledge of their menu.
Me and my father-in-law stepped into THE MELTING POT with light evening snacks in our mind. Very quickly, I had realized that there was nothing really special about the restaurant - it was an average restaurant by all standards.
We had ordered 1 BUTTER SANDWICH, 1 CHUTNEY SANDWICH, 1 SPECIAL HOT TEA and 1 SPECIAL HOT ESPRESSO COFFEE. The waiter had probably not understood (in which case he should have double-checked with us but didn't) or did not pay close enough attention or probably didn't care enough to even bother carefully listening to what exactly we had ordered - the result? We were delivered with 2 SPECIAL HOT ESPRESSO COFFEEs instead of 1 SPECIAL HOT ESPRESSO COFFEE and 1 SPECIAL HOT TEA. Well, in a way, the mistake turned out to be not such a bad one - because the coffee was awesome; tasted simply superb and heavenly - out of this world. The sandwiches also tasted great - went well with the terrific coffee. In short, the food, whatever little we had, tasted really, really, really great - absolutely no doubt about that at all. The quality of the food was great as well. However, considering the cost of the sandwiches, I strongly feel that the quantity was surprisingly less. To say it the other way round, with a quantity as less as those of the sandwiches, it can be said that the prices are a bit on the higher side - the prices being almost at par with the prices in some other restaurants which are much superior in class and fame as compared to THE MELTING POT.
Now, coming back again to the incident of COFFEE getting wrongly delivered instead of TEA - I believe that this had happened only because the waiter who had taken our orders simply failed to understand, fully or partially, what exactly we had ordered; it was pretty evident from his body language and face expression that he was, due to some strange reasons known only to him, absolutely not being able to follow us properly. Language, for sure, was not a problem because the guy understood Hindi very well (he was talking to his fellow colleagues in Hindi) and I had placed my orders in Hindi. It appeared to me that the particular guy did not know the items in their menu card very well and therefore, got confused due to some reasons or the other.
After the two coffees were wrongly delivered instead of one coffee and one tea, I raised the concern to the guy who had taken our orders and he started speaking strange and utter rubbish - that tea and coffee were the same at THE MELTING POT and similar non-senses. It was then that one of his colleagues intervened; he carefully listened to us, understood what had happened, understood our concerns, apologized to us over and over again for their mistake and assured us that our TEA would reach us at the earliest. We, however, decided to continue on with the HOT COFFEE.
Barring that one specific staff member of theirs, all the other staff members are decently OK. However, the matter of concern over here is that one seemingly ignorant, stupid, callous, idiotic, utterly careless staff member of yours is more than enough to bring about some really, really, really bad and horrible experience to one or more of your precious customers and thus, severely bring immense disrepute and stupendously negative publicity to your restaurant business.
1. FOOD - A rating of 3.75 out of a total of 5
2. STAFF MEMBERS - A rating of 3 out of a total of 5
3. AMBIENCE - Very average ambience. Cannot be called bad; can neither be called good - very much an intermediate staff between good and bad is the ambience at THE MELTING POT.
A rating of 3 out of a total of 5 for the AMBIENCE....
4. SERVICE - The speed of their service is OK. Nothing outstanding, but not bad either - an average OK service level. There is always a scope for a significant improvement, if THE MELTING POT management wish to.
A rating of 3 out of a total of 5 for the SERVICE.....
5. CLEANLINESS - Again, the environment and surroundings in and around THE MELTING POT have been maintained in an averagely neat & clean and tidy manner. Quite ok on the cleanliness front; however, having said that, much more also needs to be done in order to increase the level of cleanliness to even greater heights.
A rating of 3 out of a total of 5 on the CLEANLINESS quotient......
My final verdict on THE MELTING POT - can give the place a try at least once, absolutely no harm in doing that....
Nothing special about this place. Small place.
Average ambience
average food
normal rates
Poor service
Sitting arrangement is good
Won't visit this place again.
Good food....My cravings of paneer are satiated by their "paneer amritsari"..laccha Paratha is an addition :-P..Great place for veggie's.. :-)
Decent place. But high rates. Servers good quality. Masala papad doesn't have shev on it. And when I asked for it they simply denied. Nice shakes.. Overall good quality.
Best food quality . Excellent service . Must visit for fodies in pune . Good ambience . Not much expensive . Budget restaurant . Variety of food . Thank you .
We usually get the food delivered in our office coz it is so packed during lunch hours that going there to eat is itself a task of 2hrs.
But if we talk about food. I can say good food in reasonable price.
My personal fav and for which these might make me a brand ambassador is the "masala pav" ? ohh m so in louve with it. This is a must with my every order. Its full on masaledar mirchi se bharpoor awesome pav!!?? their paneer dishes and paranthas are good bt dnt go for their daal well they are disaster.
Wanted to give a 4 star rating but had to cut .5pts for bad daal exp.
all n all a great choice when u forget to get lunch or u dnt feel like having boring ghr wala khana ?
When u get bored due to mess ka khana n all, this place is suitable for students (coz pocket friendly, fresh n tasty food they served), they served usual dishesh with wheat ki chapatti. And most important, its Tooo clean place, so u can feel fresh over here.
Decent place... Home delivery also.. Menu is same you find at very joint....... Good Seating.. Clean also............. ???????????? ???? I will say if you are hungry and need a decent joint with affordable price.. Shld go..
A pretty basic joint, quick service, low price and tasty food a deadly combo, a place to visit when you're low on money. Overall a good place to hangout and yes dont forget to order a cup of hit coffee.
Decent place. Not very great but is pretty cheap and hygenic for what they charge. Mushroom's great. One drawback- they dont serve naans or rotis, only parathas, laccha parathas being the most sought after!
Awesome food,great taste,pocket friendly
Nice food and good service.
Quality and quantity was good, ambiance is just like normal restaurant. Cost is ok easily manageable. If you don't care about ambiance then this place is very good for food.
Amazing food! Especially coffee with cheese chilli toast
Very good place for vegetarian people......:)

Their coffee is to die for.... So r the parathas.....nice n cozy place to hangout with frnz....n reasonable too!
Good home delivery service, and food quality is also good. Would recommend to others. Cost effective menu prices.
Good vegetarian food. Love the paneer mastani and cheese paranthas... To top it up, coffee is what you should order. Pretty light on ur pocket this place is worth a visit of you are around the area
A reasonable and decent hotel for veg food around bhosale nagar. I had been here with office friends n family. Food is simply awesome.. Would strongly recommend to try once, especially kaju curry n paneer ghunguru
Nice Place to hang out. very economical. Try Strawberry Cream it is awesome.
Good stuff here.. lot of variety as well. You should try their fresh fruit juices and milk shakes. Nice place to have a quick bite before heading for the movies at E Square close by. Much recommended: Strawberry milkshake, cheeku shake, Combinations Rice. Parking for vehicles is inside the building premises.
We locals happily welcome The Melting Pot back to its former location, after a short unsuccessful stint as the "Supreme Melting Pot" beginning in late winter 2017. Although the ambience went up several notches, so did the prices. The result: customers dropped off to the point that the former management was asked to come back mid-year.
So when friends invited me back to our old favorite "filling station" last night, it was a pleasure to find the former menus and dishes restored, plus a good crowd once again. I've always liked their paranthas, large variety of paneer dishes, and coffee. The palak soup and vegetables Manchurian are also tasty.
The ambience is homey and attractive, especially with improvements from last winter's renovation. There are also nice views of the street below.
For those thinking to work on the Internet here, I'd like to point out that connectivity can vary greatly at the same location in the restaurant. At least that was my experience.
Good place with good food and ambience.
A pure vegetarian restaurant. If you go here for a meal, Order Paneer Pahadi with Butter Chapati, Jeera Rice, Dal Tadka and Boondi Raita. You'll thank me for this one π
Really a good place, a small but comfortable. All the food I have tasted were so good. I liked the most was special cheese pulav, and pav bhaji. Staffs there are so welcoming always with a smile. But the options for drinks are less. So they could increase the option rest is good. It can be called as a friend hangout place or family can dine.
Sitting arrangements is good
It's neat, but not clean up to the mark. Delivery of ordered food takes long time. You should set your mind to wait.whether rush hour or not
Great tasting food. Very economic. Bot a fine dine in terms of ambience, but you'll enjoy the meal at least. Check the menu card online before you leave for the hotel.
I visit Pune 3-4 times a year. But this is surely the best place I've been to in Pune!!! The food is amazing!! The quantity is pretty good and the taste is even better!!! The service is pretty fast and the waiters are kind and courteous (unlike most of the waiters from Pune restaurants). Best economical restaurant in Pune!!!!!!
I was the only one at 6.00 pm. Place was neat, clean and importantly quiet (no music blaring). The Gobi Paratha order was filling and tasty. Reasonable prices too!
Lovely food quality. We were staying nearby.. We had Palak khichdi, chilly cheese toast, daal tadka and jeera rice. Would rate all of them very good...
Tasty food at reasonable prices
Good food.
Good service.
Ambience is a bit okayish.
But overall worth your money.
Nice and testy food with reasonable price.
A soothing ambience with cuisine containing heart melting foods costing not a penny more than what they deserve: just from the bottom of one experience I had here.
Itβs a very good restaurant for food. Ambience is ok ok but food quality and taste is very good. Must try
