So I went to the restaurant near my house I'm a big fan of murg musallam. One of the best murg musallam I had in pune is from here. So the way they present is the way it tastes. The keema and the tandoor chicken is very accurate in taste. And anyone looking to have an amazing chicken experience should definitely try it.

Best place for Non-veg lovers. Chicken/Mutton thali here is delicious. It included tamda, pandhra rassa with kheema and masala chicken. Best dish i found here was CHICKEN TANDDORI, it was tangy and juicy covered with masala.

Must try: Chicken tandoori, Murg Mussallam, Nonveg thali.

Service here is the best I have ever experinced in Pune. Must go👍👍👍👍👍

Surmai rawa fry - full marks for the masala used very unique. ( two pieces fairly thin sliced)
Prawns Koliwada - was normal ok ( medium prawns)

Main course
1. Chicken Thali (Good)
Chicken sukka, gravy, Kheema, Rice really good Chapati or Bhakri, pandra rassa ( really very Good) thambada( red) rassa
Rice - Jeera Rice or white Indrani rice.

2 Prawns thali ( taste was average)
Fried Prawns, prawn gravy, Chapati, rice and another rassa ( liquid gravy)

A senior staff member constantly engages with you seek your feedback based on your inputs gives you dish suggestions.
Kind off reminded me of the character Anton Ego from the movie Ratatouille appearance wise. ( Pun intended)

The ambiance is great, detail to aesthetic like the interior is superb. Eg Great quality of cutlery, the furniture and fixtures adds to the charm of this restaurant. A traditional yet modern appeal to this place. Specially the wood craftsmen ship around the hotel. A shout out to management.

The senior staff member ( mentioned earlier) also suggested sukat - a dry Prawns preparation found in the Konkan belt of Maharashtra. A must try if your used to the strong taste of this variety of prawns.

Solkadhi was yum!! It was prepared fresh it was easily identifiable. Must try!

Last but not the least the staff was humble and understanding. When asked for suggestions of the menu enquired about our liking first then suggested. Another think i would like to mention is that the staff was not pushy - by this I mean, I have observed nowadays staff at few places, being pushy suggesting costly dishes on the menu and getting offended when you do not go with their recommendations.
This was definitely not observed in this place.

Service was a tad slow but not that bad to spoil the show.

In all I liked this place and could try it out only again.

Please not they have only one outlet.

"अतिथी देवो भव"...ह्या उक्तीचा बरेच दिवसांनी सुंदर अनुभव आला तो म्हणजे एका रेस्टॉरंट मध्ये ..होय बरोबर वाचलंत तुम्ही :-)....नेहमीचाच working डे होता पण होता बुधवार ..आखडला कुठून तरी सुरवात करावी म्हणून सहज सकाळी बायकोला म्हणालो आज संध्याकाळी मस्त जेवायला जाऊ,पण कुठे ते ठरला नव्हतं..दिवस कसा गेला कळलं नाही आणि ४.३० ला बायकोचा फोन आला ..लक्षात आहेत ना ..मी जेवण नाही करणार आहे संध्याकाळी..आणि माझी tube पेटली .. सुरवात कुठून करावी म्हणून फेसबुक वर शोधायला सुरवात केली आणि एक रेस्टॉरंट नजरेस पडलं "आपली आवड" ..मेनू बघितला..photos बघितले ..आणि फिक्स केला इथेच जाऊ म्हणून..जेवणाला योग्य असा पाऊस सुरु झाल्याने पोटात कावळे ओरडू लागले होते..गाडी पार्क करायला हॉटेल जवळ टर्न मारला ..पार्किंग ला नेहमी प्रमाणे एक watchman आला..पण पार्क केल्या नंरत चक्क एक माणूस रिसिव्ह करायला थांबलेला..वरती गेल्यावर हात जोडून मराठमोळा नमस्कार आणि छान वेलकम झालं स्टाफ कडून ...आणि विशेष म्हणजे बसण्यासाठी असलेल्या दोन्ही दालनांचा ऑपशन देण्यात आला ..अँबियन्स अतिशय सुंदरआणि फ्रेश होता ...आम्ही एक जागा फायनल करूंन ऑर्डर द्यायला मेनू उघडला ..ऑपशन्स खूप होते ..रेटहि reasonable आणि विविधता पण ..थोडा confuse झालो ..बायकोला म्हणालो मटण आहे..मी बिर्याणी करतो ऑर्डर ,तू थाळी मागव..रिप्लाय आला मी share नाही करणार ...सरळ मग २ मटण थाळी आणि एक पॉम्पलेट थाळी ऑर्डर केली..गरम गरम जेवण १० मिनिटातच आला पुढ्यात ..फिश थाळी मध्ये prawns करी ..सुक्का कोलीम चटणी, फ्राय पॉम्पलेट ..फिश करी ..सोलकडी ..आणि गरम ज्वारी भाकरी ..तर मटण थाळी मध्ये सुक्का मटण(बोकडाचं)..तांबडा रस्सा ,पांढरा रस्सा ,मटण खिमा ,सोलकढी ,दही कांदा आणि गरम भाकरी...पहिलाच घास तोंडात घातला आणि वा...असा आपोआप आवाज आला....बायको मुळात कोल्हापूरची असल्याने तिने टेस्ट ला ५ स्टार लगेच दिले ..प्रत्येक डिश ची चव तोंडात रेंगाळणारी होती..अस्सल कोल्हापुरी टेस्ट ..उगाचच जास्त स्पाईसेस न वापरता एकदम एक्साक्ट चव .सगळयात सुंदर म्हणजे एक डेडिकेटेड माणूस आमच्या टेबले वर लक्ष देऊन होता ..जरा रस्सा कमी झाला कि गरम गरम वाटी पुन्हा फुल्ल ..सोलकढी एक्दम परफेक्ट कोकणी स्टाईल ...पॉम्पलेट सुंदर फ्राय केलेलं तर prawns सुक्कं अप्रतिम ,कोलिम परफेक्ट भाजलेली चटणी ......बघता बघता भाकरी संपली आणि गरम वाफाळणारा बिर्याणी राईस पुन्हा एकदा टेबले वर हाजीर ..मस्त रस्सा भात खाऊन ..वर कधी सोलकढी तर कधी रस्सा पीत ..ढेकर देत उठलो ..आणि मुलाचा (वय वर्ष ३) आवाज ऐकाला बाबा restaurent भारी आहे..परत येऊया .. ..ती खरी पोचपावती ह्या रेस्टॉरंट ला....ओव्हरऑल खूप छान इव्हनिंग गेली आणि तृप्त मनाने बिल पे करत गाडीकडे पाय वळले..ते लवकरच पुन्हा visit करायचं ठरवून...

Chicken thali is perfect kolhapuri thali with unlimited tambda pandhara rassa with Jowar bhakari .chicken is not so much spicy and tambda rassa also.kids also can enjoy. its great experience ..ek dum nad khula test .please visit if u want test authentic kolhapuri thali

The quality of food had aromatic flavour of Maharashtrian spice. My friends although from other states and country enjoyed the meal.

Best ambience. The interior reflects Maharashtrian wada.
Service is also good , manager is asking feedback on each n every table. Presentation is nice. Quality of food is good.
The non veg lover can taste the real Maharashtrian (kolhapuri) flavour. Veg thali is also good. A la cart is also available.
Nice place to visit with family. Cost for 2 app. 600-700rs

Read about this place in Times foodie column and had a chance to visit it on Women's day, as it was also Friday, non-vegie day. Was sceptical about the place in the beginning as couldn't find better Maharshtrian style thali restaurants in this part of Pune. But your perception changes once you enter the place on 1st floor, ground floor being another pure veg restaurant. Ambience really impreses in the first go itself and place is spacious enough to handle sizeable crowd. There was a fish festival going on but we thought of playing safe as it was first visit and ordered Chicken Thali. It is Kolhapuri style preparation with tambda pandhra rassa, and one big dish full of chicken. I must say it is one of the best Kolhapuri style chicken I had in long times. Also accompanying items like bhakri, solkadi were all fresh, tasty and unlimited. To top it off, we had butterscotch ice cream at the end.

Owner of the restaurant is courteous enough to visit each and every table and ask for the feedback. I am giving one less star as serving time is bit long as we had to wait for almost 35 min for food to arrive after order is placed, definitely place for improvement there.

Overall must place to visit.

Awesome food. Had Veg. Thali as I had a Fast. Everything right from the Sol kadhi to the Gulab Jamun was awesome. The thali had 2 Sabjis, 2 types of dal, kharda, ground nut chutney, chapatis and rice in addition to Sol kadhi and Gulab Jamun. The entire combination of the menu was pperfectly blending.

Great taste. Good service. Awesome ambience. All in all worth the money you spend. Do visit in case you want to have a Thali- veg and non veg are available . Also they have a A Lacarte menu as well.

The ambience is really good. It feels like you are entering a Maratha Rajwada. The staff seemed good and polite.

Coming to the food.

For starters, ordered Masala Papad and Chicken Drum Stick.
Chicken Drum Sticks had four pieces and the chicken seemed nicely marinated and juicy.

For the mains, ordered Mutton thali which included Mutton Masala, Kheema, Tambda and Pandhra rassa, Biryani Rice and Sol Kadhi along with Chapati/Bhakari.
We opted for Chapati which was good.
The Mutton Masala was superb! Perfect amount of spice and nicely cooked tender Mutton pieces.

The only thing I did not like in the thali was the Mutton Kheema. It seemed almost tasteless.
The Tambda and Padhra rassa were to the mark.
Rice was good and went well with the rassa.
Sol kadhi seemed a bit spicy.
Ended the meal with Lassi which was good as well.
Overall a satisfying experience!

One of the wow factor place in terms of ambience quality of food hygiene and staff service.

First time had mutton outside and it was very good in taste ,quality etc.

Bhakris are really homemade quality from Jowar and Bajra .

Only issue for me is that I hate long grain basmati rice.
A simple steam or jeera rice on thali would be ultimate treat with non veg.

Situated on the dange chowk hinjewadi highway, this place turned out to be a tasty surprise. You might miss out the entrance, but once you walk in, you are welcomed by polite and friendly staff and a beautiful ambience. We ordered chicken thali and pomfret thali.

Chicken thali: Thali has generous quantity of chicken sukka, fried egg, unlimited pandhra tambda rassa, 2 pieces of jwari or bajri bhakri, dahi kanda , solkadi and biryani rice. Though they dont have separate chicken curry, the sukka chicken quantity is very generous and it was by faar the best cooked chicken sukka i had in any thali. The bhakri were soft and large. Tambda pandhrq rassa were tasty and were served hot. Overall a very tasty and filling meal.

Pomfret Thali: it has a medium to large size of perfectly fried full pomfret. Prawns curry, curry gravy , 2 piece bhakri, sukat fry, dahi kanda, solkadi and rice. The pomfret was marinated in tasty spices and fried to perfection. The prawns curry had big sized prawns and malwani styled curry. The curry and sukat could have been better in taste, but the pomfret covered for them. Definitely going back for the fish.

Hotel Aapli Aavad is usually known for sea food and nonveg food but you will get vegetarian food as well. This restaurant serves sea foods,Chicken and mutton thali and other individual dishes. In chicken thali will have Chicken dry, unlimited tambada rassa,padhara rassa , Jawar bhakari or Bajra bhakri also roti , Rice and solkhadhi. Test of chicken is good, specially pandhara rassa is testy and also very nice staff for giving nice service . Very polite all staff and also Manoj sir, This restaurant is value for money. Those who loves to eat nonveg then need to visit atleast one time.

Great place, friendly and flexible staff, good service and delicious fish thalis and fish fry, moderately priced (500 to 600 for fish thali), considering that fish is seasonal and the prices vary due to shortages. Would recommend surmai thali. You may also like the sol-kadhi - they serve it without tadka but it's spiced up with green chillies, so we preferred the plain buttermilk. The place was barely occupied around 3 pm on the Saturday when we visited.

You will get North Indian and Maharashtrian food options. In Maharashtrian food Kolhapuri Mutton thali, Kolhapuri Chicken thali and Fish thali is available. In Kolhapuri Chicken Thali will get Chicken fry, Egg curry, Pandhara rassa, Tambda rassa, Solkhadhi, Dahikanda, Biryani rice and Jawar bhakri or Bajra Bhakri or Chapati. Tambda-pandhara rassa and solkadhi tests awesome. You can come with family, childrens and all age groups in the hotel. Ambience is very nice and calm. Hotel staff is very helpful. Service is fast. Manager as well as the hotel owner are taking care of customers and they take suggestions as well as the feedback from the customers. Price list is best for this kind of ambience and quality of food also will get discount on occasions. Overall one of the best hotel in PCMC area.
