Aavees is an all time favourite joint if i am not looking for a flashy restaurant but an average place with good taste. The butter chicken, tandoori, BL chicken biryani, chicken angaare kebab served here is out of the world. The food quantity is also good and the place is kept averagely clean. I prefer taking parcel from here more than eating at the place.
Cravings for biryani? Hop on your bike and get to this place! Located on the prime spot on the main road, its very easy to find. The ambiance is good and taken care of. The service is fast too!
I too had a biryani craving and came here to eat their chicken Biryani specially - the taste was delicious! The chicken was well marinated and beautifully cooked. It just melted in my mouth. The masalas in the biryani sung and my tastebuds began dancing!

A great place if you love your poultry. Absolutely amazing kebabs this side of town. Hardly remember a time i have been here and have ordered the main course. Great place to catch up with college buddies especially those who love the tangdies and tikkas.

You can order or go to their place to have some amazing Indian chinese which has amazing quantity of chicken. We mostly order chicken Manchurian gravy with chicken fried rice its an amazing combo..both the dishes have ample of chicken to satiate your chicken pangs. Service is okayish and price is reasonable. Chicken manchow soup doesn't have the regular chicken pieces you would expect.

Went on a weekday. No rush as such. In starters had chicken tikka And chicken banjara. Both were nice roast and had deep flavour in them. In main course had chicken rara which was spicy yet tasty. Food is overall high on spice. Nice experience.

As we visit our best friend who is staying in pune for the past 5 years, visiting aavees atleast once has been a no brainer.
Simple decor serving value for money punjabi/mughlai and chinese food.
Must try dishes :
Chicken lollipop : 10 pieces of crispy from the outside and succulent from inside pieces of chicken legs served with delicious Sichuan sauce. (These are the second best chicken lollipops I've had, the first one's were in royal garden resort, mumbai)
Chicken tikka : Unlike other restaurants i don't think the tikkas here are half done, they make them from scratch every time you order and hence the delay in service , i presume. Juicy, spicy and moist chicken tikkas. A must have at this place.
Chicken dum biryani : Unlike a traditional dum biryani this is huge on spice and with tomatoes. Order it for a different experience of a biryani.
This place will always hold a special place in my heart as the memories created during our several stays in pune are priceless and the cherry on the cake has been eating good food in places like aavees.

Situated in a cosy little corner right off the busy Karve Road, Aavees holds some really special memories for me. I especially love their Pudina Kabab and Reshmi Kabab preparations which are crafted to perfection every time I've had them. The tangy spice of the pudina and the succulent sweetness of the malai are what make these two dishes my all-time favourites. Aavees doesn't boast of swanky decor or a huge dining area but their ambience is rather lovely, nonetheless, with a warm sense of homeliness around every corner. I'd definitely recommend this eatery for a rainy afternoon or a close get-together.
Just vsit Aavees once, is what my friends have been telling me since last week. Finally i did visit yesterday and wow was the first word i said when the food arrived. I had ordered Chicken kebab for starters and Butter naan with Spicy Chicken Masala for lunch. It was absolutely delicious and well served. The service was also amazingly fast. The seating arrangement is comfortable too, had a huge TV and quite a friendly ambiance with polite staff.
Next time would like to try Chinese for dinner. Definitely one of the best in Erandwane. Give it a try people!! would recommend to my friends and family.

Terrific food. Very agreeable environment. Not too posh, not too cozy. The waiters are always there, yet respect your privacy. Took my lil' sister here today. In fact, went to this place for the first time. And I am glad I did. Will keep visiting again and again. Do visit Aavees if you want to share great food and yet have a important conversation (not the corporate type). Food should not just be about the taste. The entire experience contributes to a great evening. And Aavees is just that!!!
Visited this restaurant for a lunch. Its located near katakirr misal. They have 2 levels of seating and the upper one is air conditioned. They have maintained the place really well I must say. We ordered paneer 65 and masala papad for starters. Paneer 65 was just perfect with paneer cubes being very fresh and soft. Masala papad was a bit spicy but nothing to complain about. In the main course we ordered veg multani which had a mix of chopped veggies with paneer. This dish was quite good. To end, we decided to try schezwan noodles which was a bit of let down. The noodles were quite bland and only after adding schezwan chutney (which was very nice) it became eatable. Overall a fine first experience. I have heard that this place serves very good non vegetarian dishes which i ll try next time.
Visited the restaurant only once, during my office hours. Had ordered Chicken Hot and Sour soup, which was good, thick, hot, and quantities and mixtures in it were sufficient enough to make the soup tastier. Price is affordable, and pocket friendly. Order I received pretty quick, since there were no customers other than me !! 😁 :P

One of the top restaurants in Erandwane in terms of food. They have great taste in Mughalai dishes. Chiken tikka masala is my all time favorite. The have 2 floor seating, The service is good and the staff is polite. Parking is an issue but worth the efforts.
One of my fv8 hotel.. Hangout with friends this place is just awesome. Variety of food, always served a fresh food.affordable rates. As the place is small, but they arrange very good seating arrangement.
Separate family room is there which is suitable for 10-12 member's.
My favorite order is chicken tikka as starter and chicken amrutsari as well as chicken multani.
If you wish variety of starters then chicken platter is one of the best option, as platter contains 22 variety of starters with the nice chutney.
If you wish fish starters then fish platter is also there.

One of my favorite biryani is aavees biryani. Proper texture plus proper dum (masala) with salad. Just one demand, please increase the quantity as I'm the biggest fan of aavees biryani.

A cosy place for families and friends to have a quite dinner! Their service is disappointing during weekends when there is too much crowd and they just wait for you to leave!! We had veg sweet corn soup, mushroom 65, chicken banjara and naan. We had asked the waiter for spicy chicken subzi, what he suggested was supposed to be very spicy but I found it medium spicy. The mushroom was good except that the salt was too much! Rest everything was decent.

When you waiting for the signal on the Karve Road, Pune at Aavees corner, it is difficult to ignore the tandoori's smell coming from its kitchen. There are very few restaurants right in the heart of the city, where you can enjoy the Tandoori items. Aavees is definitely one of them. A small 2 floor restaurant with around 10 tables.
I have tried almost all tandoori items. Whenever our appetites demand the spicy flesh, my wife and I visit this place.
Chicken Tandoori and Chicken Tikka dry are my favorites. Do try these menus.
I like the marination and the softness of chicken in these dishes.
Chicken Manchow soup and other chinese items are ok in terms of taste.
Decent rates, simple sitting arrangement but tasty food.

As soon as we entered, me and my companion were greeted by a very friendly young person called Ajinkya. This guy who seemed to be not much elder than me, gave us a nice place to sit and then helped us place our order. His very friendly way of talking did brighten up our mood and we managed to stretch our budget by the end a bit more than what we had planned for. As Ajinkya conversed with me till the time our next dish was ready, we found we had some mutual contacts and I also had a nice chat with him after my meal.

Tandoori Pomfret(fish) - It was served with bones. The fish was very well marinated with an extremely delicious medium spicy Masala. The Masala literally left me licking my fingers after finishing the dish. I did doubt the freshness of the fish as its flesh felt a bit dry. But, it might have been slightly overcooked(?).
Reshmi Kebab - Extremely tasty due to the marinade. But the kebabs had clearly been over-marinated. (If you've tasted Janjira's Veg Lajawab, then you might find the taste of this preparation similar to that one). Very nicely cooked kebabs. I cannot deny that the dish was delicious but the flavour of the marinade completely overpowered the taste of the meat. Yummy Green Chutney was given with the kebabs.
Aavees has been a trustable place for non-veg lovers like me since years(don't know about vegetarians) and continues to be the same. 😊 I had a great time here today.

This hotel is kinda duplex, 6-8 tables on ground floor, and 10-15 tables upstairs, where there is a big LCD and AC... So, its pleasant out there.

Sweet corn veg. It was good.

Chicken Hot Pan. This dish is nailing.
Wow!! 10-12 soft, tender, well marinated chicken pieces on a sizzling hot pan with fried onion and capsicum to accopany it. Its a must try.
Main course.
We took simple Veg fried rice. To my surprise it was amazing. Very less oil, well being a chinese food thats an added advantage. Taste was subtle and actually you dont need an add on item like manchurian gravy etc.
All in all a must try restaurant located on karve road.

Being very close from my house I eat from this place very frequently, may it be dine in or home delivery. I simply love the tandoor starters they serve. Their kebabs are near perfect in taste, aroma and quality in general. Their main course menu contains pretty much the same things that any other veg/non-veg restaurant would serve, but their taste and quality is what matters.
One big drawback is their ambiance and seating arrangement, it gives the feeling of congested stuffy place, hence most often I prefer ordering food to be delivered at home and must say that they deliver pretty quickly (possibly coz I am a frequent customer and also stay verry close).

I tried this place randomly once as the aroma while waiting at the nearby traffic signal was too tempting. They serve decent (a tad spicy) Punjabi food and it's always served piping hot. It has been forced to reduce its seating capacity due to problems with the anti-encroachment guys so I prefer a parcel.

Located at a corner on crossroads just before NalStop, Aavees provides easy accessibility. The aroma from their tandoor fills up the narrow lane near it, so when you pass through it you have a temptation to visit and eat some kebab. I went there this evening to try some kebabs. Earlier they had an open dining but after renovation it is quite compact but comfortable sitting arrangements with an LCD screen to watch a match. I ordered tomato soup and two kebabs.
Soup was good with right balance of cream.
Chicken Kalogi kebab was spicy and tasty. The amount of masala and baking was well done. It was good to taste.

Nisarg is always the first choice if we plan for seafood dinner and specially for the Konkan style, for Manglorean cuisine its Rahul Restaurant. I would rarely go for any other seafood speciality restaurant in Pune. So that makes Nisarg our all time favourite place for konkani speciality cuisine.
Nisarg has been there for long long years and has never changed a bit in terms of the quality of food, freshness of the fish, quality of service and that welcoming nature of the entire staff, their valet team also does their job very well.
What you try here is the crab curry and amboli, Tandoori crab and crab soup for sure. Their Bombil rava fry is one top class dish that we never miss and i find it the best in Pune, have it with their super delicious red chutney!
My overall experience with Nisarg has always been great and i am sure it will be forever owing to their consistency of service. Highly recomended for seafood lovers for the Konkan Maharashtrian style!

Four of us visited here last week for lunch. You are greeted by huge crab and lobster stone imprints on the door. Menu is huge so lot of options to chose from. We tried promfret with two flavours (ultapulta was one of them), tandoori prawns were good so was mutton keema.
Overall ambience was fine and food was good. But little overpriced for the place and taste.
The taste of sea food is great at Nisarg . I loved eating king prawns , crab ghee roast and pomfret. I would like to suggest only one thing to have an option of steamed rice 'bhakari' along with amboli. It's costly dish wise but worthy !

I had seen this place from outside a lot of times and always though that the place looks weird and shady from the outside. Yet, I planned up and Went to this amazing place on a Sunday afternoon after being insisted on trying this one from my special one 💜.
We both went here to try out their special sea food… and as soon as we saw the entrance … there was this huge crab model hanging down the roof which looked really very attractive as they had love crabs over displays for their customers so one can enjoy the fresh crabs. 😍 After entering this restaurant , the ambience from the inside is nothing compared to the outside look of the restaurant. The place is nothing less than a 5 star hotel , i can assure . They do serve liquor in there, specially wine… they have a in-house sophisticated BAR. They have such a wonderful display of the fresh fish cut down into pieces kept over ICE … this way people can easily trust that their dish is fresh from the sea. They 2 floor for the seating area - which includes a ground floor seating area and an upper seating area as well. We chose the upper seating area where again there was this compartment for couples where 2 tables were adjusted in … so that couples could spend their own beloved time.
We had ordered 2 starters - King Fish (Surmai) tandoor chatpata & Rawas tandoor Banjara .
Both the dishes were extremely good and delicious… the fish just melted in our mouth as soon as we took the bites . They had served us with some chutneys … pudina and another was a bit spicy with some herbs and garlic . Both the chutneys were amazing .
You can also go for SOL KADHI here , which is a quite famous dish from KONKAN area . The fishes tasted really yummm.

Excellent food quality and quantity! Been visiting this restaurant for the last 15+ years and havent been disappointed even once. Friendly staff, valet parking available. Banjara kebab, surmai chatpata, Murg musallam, butter chicken are the best!

Undoubtedly testiest food. No other restaurant stand in comparison. Had Bombay duck koliwada which was really good and Surmai rava..which we did not like that much. Prawns biryani was out of the world. A must visit place. Only thing is its too costly so you enjoy more when somebody else is paying
