Overall the ambience in this place is not that good. The cooking is done open air so perhaps not the most hygienic place. But the view from here is amazing. One can see Pune city and highway from up here. The food tastes really good too. Their Chinese dishes especially are so good, for such cheap prices. The hakka noodles and chilli chicken- one plate serves two people (even three people) easily. There is a lot of quantity of food per plate so order carefully. Service is prompt too.

This place is located on the highway and the view is beautiful at night. They do not serve alcohol but you can get it from outside and drink here. The food is great, portions are very large and it is not costly.
The only con is as it is an open restaurant near the highway so it is bit dusty and also the ambience could have been better.
Overall I would say a great place to enjoy with your friends.
This people is must go for every food lover especially non vegetarians. The view of the highway on evening while you have you dinner will make you feel the ambience totally exhilarating.

Songs in the background are good most of the time, but this place is not for families and specially couples. Though they have different sections for families and stags but crowd is not filtered and all kind of people use to visit here. As drinks are allowed to carry from outside it gives many stupid people even to come.
Food is good, service is very bad, they charge you for even a bowl of ice.
Food quality, services, sitting arrangement for couples/families is good. You can enjoy candle light dinner with highway view which gives small feel of sitting on roof top restaurant.

Not a bad place i would say but a place where you should not take your family. Everythings really dark here and tables are spaced out and no roof which means u r directly under the sky. The food was not bad but was a little spicy to me. It tasted like how a dhaba food would taste. I liked panner butter masala tho. They took very long to serve the food. Also there was only one waiter. Going to places like this is good when u r on budget u r only with ur friends. The food was cheap and ambience was not bad. They didn't have pos machines. Overall good.

Food quality is good and definitely worth of the cost they charge. Service by staff is good...there can be delay on weekends due to heavy rush. Try visiting on weekdays if possible to enjoy the place and service. You can carry alcoholic drinks with you there. surely recommend place.
Located 1 km from chandani chowk towards lavasa road on right side. The thing making this place a famous one is you can get along your booze. If you getting along your booze you need to enquire about the bill amount well in advance as they say that for boozing you need to generate a certain amount in overall bill. For those of you not carrying booze do not have to care about the amount generated in the bill for minimums.
We asked the waiter for their speciality which he replied "murg musallam" costing 500/-. The dish was really damn worth its price as 5 of us had a satisfying dinner. Their murg musallam comes with 8 chicken tandoori sized pieces along with the gravy having kheema in it. Serving time is medium generally but usually on weekends it takes longer as more crowd is present. Q
Okay this place is bit practical in terms of rules yeh you can bring ur own alcohol stock , i knw its flute to ears although they have a minimum amount of bill that you have to order, food is pretty good i would not say more because i have seen other reviews as they criticise so but of what all i have ordered was good. must try is #tandoorimushroom

A perfect roadside dhaba, light on pocket, serves till midnight.
Highway on one side makes for a good view.

The best location to go with your friends for a round of drinks..BYOB(Bring your own booze) being the highlight of this place.We reached here around 7 in the evening..the place was empty but within 1 hr. The place was full of people.. The food quality has definetly improved from the reviews i read earlier about this place..we didnt order any main course but the starters were really good..special mention to the tandoori chicken and the chicken 65..the view of the highway adds to the ambience of the place..a must visit during monsoons.
Been here lot of time .....d best part about this place is that you can get your own drinks from outside ....d view is amazing and this place is open till 12 ....best for students party....food is not so great....snacks are good...
We were headed to Sarovar on lavasa road, bt rain caught us and we ended up here.
Its not a party place, its just a quite dinner place for families. Few things about these: the place is full of families so dont go rowdy, they dont provide drinks but we can carry our own, for weekends we have to wait for 15min, the allow you to smoke if only you get the corner tables. Music is very depressing, i dnt know why they play.

Its nice place to enjoy your dinner in open environment with friends...I have been here several times with friends...I love the ambiance over here...quality n taste of food is good...a bit costly place....tittar handi dish is awesome over here..
Open place, fresh air, nice view of highway and awesome food is the definition for this place. its a Serious getaway from crowded city places and noise. The food here is decent and i would have to say very confidently that you will get to taste one of the most softest Cottage cheese (Paneer) you have ever ever had.. So soft that it melts inside you mouth, not at all hard to chew. Its a semi romantic place too, No much lighting, good food, fast service and good view of the highway exites people to visit again and again. All in all a must visit place.
Nice place to hangout, away from the crowded city roads and an amazing view outside. I liked the Chinese here, u must try Tandoori if u r a non veggie its good. Indian cuisine is also good to try. One thing I didn't liked is the slow service else everything is good.

FOOD: Lip- smacking Chicken.. I had ordered Tandoori Chicken. Simply loved it. Definitely Delicious.
COST : The menu is very reasonably placed and even if you happen to over order its never gonna pinch your pocket.
VERDICT: Taste wise it was bang on... Eager to try other dishes..
The restaurant is set up on the way to mulshi, overlooking the Pune Mumbai Highway in bavdhan. It doesn't have a concrete roof on the head, but has a tent like those used in weddings, but guaranteed it won't fall on your head.
A good place to go out to in the evening to see the cars guzzling down the highway and have a chat with your friends. The Chinese served here is good and ample quantity as well, plus its cheap! The Punjabi food as well is good and is well portioned. And is pocket friendly
If you go sit down, the servers sometimes do take their own time, but then this isn't really that concrete restaurant you are used to.
All in all, visit for some good Chinese and Punjabi food, and some great views of the highway!

Most of the times when you visit a restaurant on the hill top or the footsteps of a hill,the focus on excellent interiors is experienced so much that the hoteliers/restaurateurs fail to highlight sceneric beauty around.
But Bavdhan Chaupati is not one of those restaurants.On one side you get a lush green mountain and on the other we get a direct view of the highway(not saying its great but its not a bad thing either).The weather is always chilly,so that adds a great deal to the ambience.I'e been there with closest friends,my girlfriend and my family as well,and believe me,I had warm experiences each time
As far as the food is concerned,honestly,it wasnt upto the mark around 4yrs back i think(not sure about the timeline).But in the last 8months Ive visited there 4 times and the taste has improved drastically.The Tandoori chicken was soft enough and the sourness of the lemon was just about right.Other starters in Paneer were just as pleasant.The rotis and naans were good too,not as chewy as we get and quitely swallow at other restaurants.The main course was good too.Ended the dinners each time with chocolate milkshakes for all.Perfect ending.
The waiters are polite and have a smile on their face all the time.
All in all,a really good place to visit.I dont think I'll stop visiting this place any time soon

A very chill place giving lofi vibes. Good thing is Bring Your Own Booze policy. Chinese is very good and chicken lollipop is the best thing to have. Staff is also great. Ambiance is excellent. Staff arranges candle light dinner too if you ask. I'm going to this place for the past 15 years. Never disappointed.

the hotel is good to spend the time ,side by across the highway ,we get a nice view of the city from the top side. The quality of the food is good and at an affordable price.But if you want to have drinks,you have to get it from outside shop and then they allow you have it on the table. The table charges are applied. Nice place to get on weekends to have a dinner with friends and colleague.
