We ordered few items in chicken and veg starters. Food quality was excellent along with the presentation and packaging. Moreover we were very impressed with the precautions taken as far as the delivery was concerned in these difficult times.

The food was excellent. My personal favourites are both veg and Non-Veg. But after the lockdown, I have been ordering chicken dishes more, which are yummy. Chicken Banjara and chicken tandoori are a must must try for chicken lovers.
We have been experiencing Shangri-la dining for over 10 years now. And the taste is as same and authentic as it was then. Be it Non veg or veg dishes. Very much fond of their kheema, mutton curry, kurkuri bhindi, veg kadhai and biryani.
The staff is prompt and well behaved. Food quality & hygiene is maintainence is USP.

It's a nice chilled place for a late evening dinner. Food is good ,the service could do better and the rates are a little piked...but overall a pleasent experience. The port wine was commendable!!

Planned a diwali lunch over here. I must say it was so peaceful with lots of trees and birds chirping and to top it off it rained heavily which made the lunch even better. The food was very good. Had Fish tikka for starters which was very well prepared and really good. Then had mutton sukka with butter roti. Wah what a taste. Only small turn off was the small bits and pieces of crushed bones that were coming in the food in mutton sukka. Otherwise was a good lunch.

Food here is absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation , very pleasing. We are absolute fan of mutton Kheema at Shangri-La..it's like going there and not ordering Kheema is a sin for us. Apart from great cuisine they have interesting bar menu too. We highly recommend this place for its quality of food and great value for price.

Probably the only garden restaurant in this neighborhood with it's good old charm still intact. Has been a favourite to hang out with friends for nice tandoori and drinks. Have also been there with family many a times and the kids love the ambiance. Overall, a simple restaurant with nice ambience to sit down and chat with friends and family over some good food. Must try the dal khichadi here.

The food quality is still the same and staff is courteous like it used to be before. The mosquitoes were a bit annoying but then the staff resolved the issue. Overall I love this place since my childhood and got a chance to visit again.

This is such a wonderful place this is.. plants all around, a big bird cage right in the centre so everyone can hear them chirp. The ambience is quiet which gives you added pleasure of being here. The service is prompt and the servers are polite. The tables are not cramped together instead are placed reasonably away from each other. This place has a small seating area with the air conditioning facility if you're interested but it won't give you the natural cooling effect of the trees and the chirping.
The food you get here is delicious. I loved their cheese chilly toast. A simple dish yet many restaurants don't make it so well.

I had been here with one of my friend on a weekday. The place is quite old and is in the heart of the city, yet maintains the low profile. You may get to see a few celebrities around here if you're lucky.

A nice place for dining out. Situated off Nal Stop on Karve Road, this place is usually almost full during week days too, thanks to the location. Had booked a table through Zomato. This place has indoor as well as outdoor seating.
Ordered Cherry Blossom mocktail, Rum and Bacardi Breezer. For starters had Veg crispy and spring rolls. For main course had daal khichadi. Taste of food is not "hatke" but is not average either. Quantity is just good.

A typical garden restaurant and bar with a beautiful ambience. They have open air seating and also an AC hall.

Quick and decent service. Humble and customer friendly attitude of the staff and waiters.
Food:
We ordered half chicken handi with hot rotis and egg fried rice. Perfectly cooked chicken with sufficient number of pieces and gravy had the correct level of spiciness as you would expect in a chicken handi. Egg fried rice had a lovely aroma and flavour and went great with the chicken gravy.
Lucky to find such a nice place. Will be a frequent visitor for sure. Cheers!!!

A good place to unwind a long gone week.. Just off karve road this place offers solace & variety of options in food & spirits as well.. They have a outside seating as well as normal air conditioned seating.. We tried chicken kebabs & masala papad in starters.. In the main course we had fried rice & some ice cream as dessert.. The overall food quality is good & ambience is decent. The spirit menu also has good options. Overall a very decent place to unwind & relax on the weekend..

I remember coming to this since my childhood. It's one of the very few places that you can say is a part of Pune.. Actual Pune and not what the city currently is.
It's a cozy place but you shouldn't put your MichelinStar reviewer's cap while judging this place.
The food is quite decent, kebabs are good as starters. The prices have climbed up a bit I would say though.
You get a wide variety of food here as well as drinks.
The staff could use a little more grooming up. But I never noticed extremely slow service, nor inadequacy.
Remember it's a long-running, simple, cozy, quiet restaurant. Its not fine dining, not for banquets (for sure, since the facilities are limited) and if u get a good table is also family friendly.
Well, I have been here many times and my observation is that slowly the quantity of food that is served has reduced.
Manchurian dry is a must have starter here also hot and sour wanton soup is my personal favourite.
They have a limited menu for vegetarians but for non vegetarians there is lotsthat the restaurant offers. Another item a like at this place is the tandoor roti which is actually made of wheat unlike most of the restaurants which serve maida roti while claiming that it is wheat roti.
The taste is really good but only disappointment is the small portions.
This restaurant can be a little difficult to locate. Its surrounded by trees and the place is naturally cool most of times. They have majority of their seating arranged outside and a small indoors ac area too. Food is very good and so is the service. Outdoor seating arrangement with trees around has its downside too since there are quite a few mosquitos at times especially during summers.
I remember visiting this place atleast for 10 years.. The most surprising part is there Butter Chicken still tastes the same Yummy!!. You can opt for the outdoors, especially if prefer having few puffs.. with your drinks... You can also sit indoors... But outdoors are more fun.. And yes they have birds and an aquarium which attracts kids... I would say if planning for a peaceful dinner.. This is the place!!

Ambience:
The moment you enter this place you feel great!! A peaceful and nice open place in the heart of the city. Never expected to get a great open air restaurant in the heart of the city. That was a welcome sight indeed and I loved it even before I was seated. There is a closed area with AC as well, but it feels great to sit outside in open air. All the tables are covered with large umbrellas, so you need not worry about leaves etc dropping in your food. Experience was like sitting outside the city inย a calm and nice open air space. Good for the kids to play around as well. They will love it particularly the birds that have been kept there.
Food:
We had non-veg and veg starter. Panner tikka was quite good. Well all enjoyed it. Worth trying! The chilli chicken was good, but nothing great as such. Mind you, I am not saying it was bad or anything, but nothing to call out and not disappointing at all.
The veg biryani is something I would like to mention. It was indeed quite good and looked like authentic biryani. Quantity was also good.
Service:
Nothing to write about here. Was not super fast as such, I would say on the slower side. This 1 start that I have taken away is for the service.
Overall a nice experience and I definitely would go again with family and friends. Do try it out!

Good place for a casual meal. Nice and relaxed atmosphere with trees and lovebirds. The food is good, what you can normally expect in a resto-bar. The gobi Manchurian, chicken tangdi kebab and soups were good while the chicken lollypop had more batter coating than chicken. Veg fried rice was also nice. Butter chicken was tasty but on the sweeter side. The service is slow on the weekends and if you are really tired, you might even get a power nap. Pricing is good.

Had been there for dinner with family.. The ambience was good.. Candlelight.. Looked great! Coming to food, we had ordered the nonveg platter and it was yummy.. Loved the butter chicken too! Nice place to visit with ur family for a nice and cozy dinner!
This place is located close to where we ( as in extended family) live so its a natural hang out place for us when we crave for some good food. The vegetarian dishes are good especially their paneer appetizers and Veg Bhuna as the main dish. The Nans are soft. In the meat section the family loves the Gavran chicken and when they have some fresh fish, the tandoori Pomfret is quiet popular too. The dessert is passable. Overall nice place to hang out in the evening with family and friends.

We visited this place last friday for dinner with a couple of friends. It is located off karve road, near null stop which is having heavy traffic all time of the day; yet this restaurant is located such that when u enter here no traffic noise is heard. A big bunglow and its backyard is converted into this lovely restaurant. It has both indoor and outdoor seating areas. We prefrerred outdoor garden seating area with lots of trees around. In the centre of the garden section, there is a huge tree surrounded by big cage having lots of chirping love birds...Just loved it...:)
We choose a small table in corner to sit. After we settled down and had water, steward approached our table to take order. We ordered veg. Manchurian which arrived in 10 minutes. It was fine, a bit salty in taste; but ample in quantity.
In main course, we ordered veg. Jalfrezi (for veggies like me), chicken tikka masala, butter roti and jeera rice.
Veg. Jalfrezi was medium spicy yet sweet in taste just as i like it. CTM was good, little towards spicier side; our friends liked it. Butter roti and Jeera Rice were as it should be, nothing unusual.
Overall, a nice dining experience with good food, reasonable prices, lovely ambience and friendly staff.
Excellent food, very good service.. The delay in delivery sometimes is on account of all food is made fresh once ordered..Liked the ambiance too. The stewards are good in suggesting what one likes.

Chicken tandoor sizzler was a hit... I hate sizzlers but this was out of the world
Roomali roti was not good

We had a school get together of around 13 school mates. Food was excellent. AC Hall for our entertainment programs and Terrace for buffet dinner was just the arrangement we could have asked for. The best part was the hospitality and service by the staff. Initial interaction with the lady owner was very
courteous and pleasant. Manager Mr.Rohit and two young boys were at our service throughout till quite late in the evening. I will give 9/10 for our overall experience. One less as in everything there's always a scope for improvement.
