Food is good, π, lots of options, especially South Indian food π π₯ π₯ is really worth to taste π
Not a big space hence seems crowded. And tight sittings in corners. But food is π hence people keep chiming in. Tea,coffee βοΈ π« options are good. Overall place is delivering what it claims.
I recently dined at 'Way Down South,' and it was a fantastic experience. The Davangere Benne Dosa, Podi Benne Masala Dosa, and Mysore Masala Dosa were all absolutely delicious. The Idli Sambar and Wada Sambar were also very satisfying. My only suggestion would be for 'Way Down South' to consider adjusting the prices of a few items to make it more budget-friendly. However, I was pleased with the excellent hygiene standards and attentive service at 'Way Down South.' Overall, a great place for South Indian food!
Nice little South Indian restaurant, located on the main road. It has a small road side parking outside. Friendly staff, service can be a bit slow. Food was good and fresh. The veg cutlets and Mysore dosa were noteworthy. Sambar could have been better but the coconut chatni was on point. They make a pretty good Filter coffee, ask for a strong one if you like a little more kick in your coffee. Overall a decent South Indian place.
I recently tried the chole bhature at Way Down South Hotel. The taste was alright, nothing exceptional. While it satisfied the craving, I expected a bit more in terms of flavor and authenticity. The service was decent and the ambience was average.
Discovered this while strolling and really enjoyed our food. I ordered jini Dosa and was I impressed. It bursted with incredible flavour. Posting this review after a month so don't exactly remember the price point but remember thinking those were well priced. Also being on a gluten free diet the waiters were promt to enquire with chef and came back with confident answer with what i could and couldn't eat. Will go again for if I am in pune for sure.
Enjoyed a delicious breakfast with Masala Dosa and Puri Bhaji at this place. tasting really nice. Uttapa was okay, but the Appe was a letdown as it was a bit burnt. However, the hotel service was best, and the ambiance added to a pleasant dining experience.
Great experience! This cozy restaurant has left a great impression on me! The restaurant serves delicious south indian dishes, especially filter coffee and the tea.
I recommend this restaurant to everyone!
Atmosphere is chill and cool. The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again.

Food is good and price is reasonable. My favourite is their Plain thali. Quality food for reasonable price.
Update 1-
Devangere benne dosa is my new favorite. I wanna try the rest of the specialty dosas too.
Update 2-
Chitrapur Pollo: had high expectations but came out plain.
Jinni Dosa: Surprisingly good and very filling.
Bissi Bele Baath: good
Puri bhaaji: good
Sambar is alright. Chutney is questionable.
Best idli in town, as good as any normal restaurants in Bangalore
Chutney was very tasty
Rarely you find a place with such very good hygiene
Adrak tea was also very good

Worth money, Dahi Wada not upto mark.
Must Try: Rava Onion Masala Dosa, Cut Dosa.
Very nice and delicious food... I tried two types of dosas and imidiately fallen in love with it. I would definitely come back along with my wife.
Variety of food options available here to brain storm what one needs to finally order....
Tried few dishes (as shown in pictures)
Filter coffee makes me remind of south Indian filter coffee
Not so great ambience overall However food is worth to try for !!!
It's right by the busy road so a bit of traffic noise gets in the conversation if you get a spot near entry, since it's entrance faces the road. South Indian thali was good to taste. Today unfortunately I had a day full of potato meals whole day and here also I got a potato sabji. I just had to let it go. Everything else that I tasted was good. Thali came with puries or roti option. We tried both. Puri > roti. Dessert had semiya and tapioca item. Sweetness was moderate and that was π excellent. Service was fast. We also saw some gigantic dosas being served on nearby table.. those dosas were a spectacle themselves!
Rare south Indian restaurant in Baner that serves authentic south indian cuisine. The have plenty of varieties in Dosa and Rice items. To top it all is the Davangere Benne Dosa which is simple fab. One must not miss it. Not too spicy, not to much masala, just perfect taste. The place is well lit and the interiors are cool. Service is good, but could be a bit faster. Prices are not that high. Parking is only an issue here as entire Baner is a no parking area. It would have worked wonders for them had the place been a bit bigger. To sum up, a real good place to try out some south Indian stuff, you wont regret..
Food was average but the ambience and cost wise, good place to visit!
