Throwback ! It is located in Hinjewadi, near Radisson Blu hotel.It is usually crowded because of the hostel and the PG rooms around. Whenever I am in the area, I make it a point to eat here. They serve the most delicious dishes at very affordable price.

Very pocket friendly hotel. Whatever i tried here was nice except their main course sabjis. I feel they dont prepare it with correct proportion of spices. If you running out of money then you can visit here is small amount you can eat too much food. Service is nice, everything they serve is hot and in satisfying quantity. I've visited desi dhaba a few times. Even though it's located a little off the main road, it's popularity continues to soar due to its tasty and affordable Indian veg food. Except for the daal, which my friends love but I don't, there isn't one dish that I have had which I haven't loved. Be it a veg curry or a paneer dish. I especially recommend the veg kolhapuri, paneer kadhai and paneer handi.
A worthy place who love to eat North Indian food... love it channa masala and ghee roti,service, taste, behaviour aspects. Go early on weekends for dinner (must be waiting time period).

It was a weekend and I wanted to try some new place which would be nearby as I was feeling lazy to travel. I had read few reviews in zomato and found Desi Dhaba's reviews were good, so thought to visit this food joint. We ordered kadhai paneer, masala papad, ghee roti and lassi. Everything was upto the mark and loved the taste of the garma garam ghee roti with paneer. Price is quite reasonable and food taste is really good.

This place is crowded almost at all times. We had to wait for 10 minutes before getting a table. But that's all good as we got served some really amazing food. The veg thali is more than sufficient for a person and comes at a meagre price of 60 bucks. That includes 4 rotis, rice, dal, sabzi of the day. The Shahi Paneer was the star of the show. It tasted wonderful. The Mushroom Masala was spicy and a bit tangy. The lassi was very thick and had dry fruits in it. Would definitely visit this place again.

The food here is so awesome that It literally draws me from shivajinagar. I visited the first time with 6 of my friends. We ate till we couldn't, quite frankly, breathe anymore. It was yesterday, and I had bad craving for Punjabi food..We have start searching on Zomato and saw this place with good ratings..It's on prime location and near to Hinjewadi IT park.. They have simple table and chairs arrangements outside and it's truly gives the feeling of Dhaba..
Coming to the food, First we ordered Masala Papad to satisfy our hunger and it was good..
In main course, we tried Paneer butter masala with ghee wheat roti..paneer curry was delicious and the quantity was enough for 2 people..Gravy was thick and creamy..spices were balanced and paneer was flavorful..They have garnished curry with grated paneer and some cream..It was looking tempting..
For rotis, they have one roti guy who is roaming there and you can take roti as per your requirement..They serve hot roti with ghee and without ghee option..I like their concept..Thumb up

I had recently visited this place for lunch. Being from south, here I found very authentic north Indian food served hot. I ordered sev bhaji and plain roti. The gravy was good in quantity and tasty. I also ordered lasi at last, which was an add on.

Pocket friendly place. The khat kept their gives real feeling of dhabba. Roti with ghee is what I love at this place. Hostelites are often in search of soft ghee wali roti 😅. Paneer chatpata is something which tops my order at this place. My group prefers not to order Biryani its not bad but we don't find it our type of Biryani.

Another favourite North Indian and vegetarian friendly joint which serves very flavorful yet economic food. Been a fan of this small dhaba ever since I discovered it in the second year of my College. Can't even remember now as to how many times Desi Dhaba's food came to our rescue when the mess food always disappointed us.
The seating is mostly in the open area with a few tables inside and a few cots outside to give it the look of a dhaba. The staff is polite and the service is quick. The place looks clean as well.

I decided to order the Shahi Paneer Combo.
The food was delivered by UberEats in quick time.
The combo was quite filling for the stomach and taste was also good.
This place is a must go if u are going for great taste in vegetarian food. 5 star for food, Ambience although could be better but considering the price point it's ok.

Amazing and cheap place for vegetarian food. Very tasty sabjis. Being a hard core non vegetarian this came as a surprise for me - every vegetarian dish that we ordered was so tasty! We were 7 people and it costed us only ₹910 for a fulfilling dinner. It is always crowded so best to be an early bird.

Wow!! I am hardcore non veg but I adore this pure veg place. It serves one of tastiest dal chawal, paneer preparations and sev tamatar in town.

Well this place offers value for money food. Seating is like dhaba style but you can find lots of young people hanging out here. This place is located near Radisson Blue. So after a tiring day we went here to have dinner. I never like to have veg food when I dine out. But this place my has changed my perspective towards veg food.
We were a group of 11 and had to wait for 10 mins to get a table. Though the seating is like a dhaba but we got settled.

🔸️ Bhindi masala - A bit crispy and covered in masala. The taste is amazing. I haven't had such amazing bhindi since long.
🔸️ Kaju masala - This was a favorite of mine when we used to eat at dhabas and desi dhaba serves the dish exactly I used to have.

Visited this place after a suggestion from a friend. This is a place which you always crave to be present in a metro but never get it. Authentic veg restaurant with open air dinning facility. They have both village type jute cots and dinning tables, you can choose as you prefer. I personally prefer cots as they make you feel at home.
The food taste resembles somewhat between Rajasthan and MP. I am from Rajasthan and have tested all kinds of Rajathani food. For authentic Rajasthani food I had to go to Rajdhani which is not that affordable if you are planning to eat 2-3 times a week. You won't believe but this place is a good alternative to that. They don't have dal-batti-churma but have good collection of north indian dishes. Don't judge their food and quality just by seeing their menu. Just give it a try and you will add a new regular restaurant into your bucket of frequently going places.

'Are baba re' it was a real OMG moment that there were many patrons and more in waiting to flood this humble establishment.
Now that D.Dhaba has gotten my attention, I am hoping it lives upto the expectation.
4th bite into my meal and now I know, the food was Yummy(yes with a capital Y) and its the price point, which combines in a deal very hard to refuse.
Staff's interaction is little dry but considering the number of people of they have to deal with, I understand why its difficult to put a smile on the face.

I've tasted nearly everything here and would conclude that the tadke wali dal that they make is pretty tasty and feels like home with ghee wali roti. I have been working in Hinjawadi for more then five years now but thinking how did I miss visiting such a good food serving place.
It's a pure veg dhaba but serves the best veg food one would love to have. So after being tired working at office I planned to go to this place with my colleagues.
We Tried Bhindi Fry, Kaju Paneer, Veg Kolhapuri, Butter Tawa Roti, Mango Lassi and Butter Milk.
•> Bhindi Fry - Frankly speaking never in my life I loved Bhindi nor do I prefer eating it but when my colleague suggested this one we went for it. I tasted it and man I just loved them. Nicely fried in masala the Crispy Bhindi made me love them.
•> Kaju Paneer - This dish was for 110Rs and for that price it was a steal. Lots of Paneer cubes and kajus in the curry. Mildly spicy it was a perfect veg main course curry with Rotis.
•> Veg Kolhapuri - Spicy masala with lots of veggies in it. But it wasn't the best in taste and the gravy tasted somewhat similar to Kaju Paneer so I dint enjoy it much.
•> Mango Lassi - It was one of the best Lassi I had in Pune. Nice and thick and perfect mango flavoured Lassi. #highlyreccommended if you are at this place.
•> Butter Milk - Best way to finish your meal.

Head to this place if you are looking for simple dhaba food. We go in here almost every week for lunch. The place is a bit congested and gets really crowded in the peak hours. The food is delicious (although always a bit too oily) and very light on the pocket. This makes it ideal for us bachelors. Our favourite dishes are Dum Aloo and Panner Korma. Service is prompt.

Simple place and simple food. Paneer Kadhai and Aloo Matar was a bit spicy, but still we loved the taste. Both desi ghee fulka, dal tadka and jeera rice were awesome. Service is too quick and the price is most amazing thing at this place.
Honest improvement suggestions from my side -
1. The courtesy of the waitors are missing. I understand the rush of the people here, but the serving part can be improved I feel.
2. Vegetables can be less spicy, or if the waitors can hold on a second while taking the order and ask specifically about the same, that would be great.
3. The table & chairs are a bit congested, as our family is on a healthier side, it was slightly uncomfortable.
4. The payment options is way too less. I don't prefer Paytm and I also don't carry cash. Isn't that a good option to let us know before we order?
This is a good pocket friendly hotel. We had alu jeera, paneer kaju and mango lassi and every thing was very tasty. The service was very prompt .

This place attracts customer like how honey attracts bears! And I don't blame them. Desi dhabas dishes are spectacular in taste and for the right price too! It's placement near the pg's of hinjewadi is prime to attract young people. And it priced it's dishes accordingly. My favourite is shahi paneer and Jeera rice with extra ghee. When the sun goes down, this place lights up to provide an authentic highway dhaba feel. Getting a table here will be difficult especially at peak hours due to the sheer crowd that flocks here, but it is well worth the wait!
