Sujata mastani has always been my favourite place to have mastani. Though this place has limited seating arrangements , but it's worth for what you pay. They have various options but I always end up in having Mango
Have been a regular customer here since many years. Really good ice cream with a big variety of flavours. Personally I like the "mango bites" which is seasonal and contains actual mango diced into small cubes. Kids at home love the gulkand ice cream. Interesting flavour that.
Overall pretty good. Keep it up.
I am in luvvv with the dry fruit mastani.. Have tried all the flavours but finally stuck on DRY FRUITS one.. Especially the dry fruits they sprinkle on the top is a bliss in every bite.. Too good to resist.. 😋😋

Of all the things a punekar takes pride of, Sujata mastani happens to be one of them. A little peek-a-boo about how the name 'Mastani' was termed. Said to be named after the beautiful and vivacious Mastani who stole the mighty Peshwa Bajirao's heart. Well the other story has beliefs that initially when this drink was served to people they used to appreciatively remark ‘mast’ 👌 or awesome thus, this drink is called Mastani. The former story seems to be alluring and more relatable especially after the movie "Bajirao Mastani"
Mastani is thick milkshake served with a scoop of ice cream, while they also serve only ice creams and only milk shakes as well. There is no as such ambience to look out for, few chairs put outside the outlet.
We ordered for Mango Mastani, Special Pista Mastani (as seasonal Pink Peru Mastani was not available) Gulkand Badam ice cream and also Dry Anjir ice cream.

Hands down the best of the lot, freshly made with no essence was toothsome. Summer being the season of the King of fruits rules everywhere be it a cooling drink or dinner plates or ice cream, so the combo of milk shake and ice cream makes the Mango Mastani supreme.

The nutty flavour without the crunch is something different and a scoop of Pista ice cream, like a sip of shake and a bite of ice cream is enriching.

Another branch of the famous Mastani house in Pune but here i always try their ice creams. One of the best things i like about is the texture of ice cream. It is thick and contains original flavours like you would be eating the fruits. Mango, kesar pista and pineapple are the flavours you should go for.
Mastani is a famous dessert of Pune. And if you wanna try best of it. Then Sujata Mastani is the only option! They serve the best mastani in town. This outlet is nice with outside seating. I just love their mastani!

The only place in my mind when it comes to ice-cream. Undoubtedly one of the best place for ice cream, shakes and mastani I am regularly visiting this place hardly 10 min from my home. A big fan of their mango kesar mastani, mango mastani and sitafal mastani. They're so delicious and refreshing and I'm looking forward to try out the other flavours! The only drawback here is the quantity they offer for the price they charge.

The Vanilla Icecream will surprise you how good and different it is than other Vanilla icecreams..😍 Very unique! It is not white coloured.. It is light brown in colour like real Vanilla extract colour.

Gulkand Mastani (Small)- We were really nervous about ordering this one.. But surprisingly it was very good(has a slight rose flavour & wasn't strong or too sweet.. Had a mild rose flavour and had some mild tasting rose petals in the ice cream.) A must try if you want to try something different but still actually want to end up liking it.
Special Kesar Pista Mastani (Was really good.. A treat for dry fruit lover.. Had almonds in it too.)

Have tasted their Pista and Mango mastani with ice cream. Although on the pricier side compared to the quantity offered., this is worth a try once.
Order was served pretty fast even when there was quite a rush.
Location is great, accessible by public transit as well.

I have had the spl chocolate mastani which was of good quality and great taste. I won't recommend milk shakes over here as I didn't had good experience last time. Spl Pista Mastani had Pista but wasn't thick.
There's very small price difference between big and small ingredients which I think isn't good for single individual visiting.

A Pune speciality! Ordered the Special Mastani - Chocolate. It is so creamy, thick and absolutely delicious! Quantity is also good for a very reasonable price. Definitely a must-have for any one visiting Pune.

Well, try the Mango mastani and the Sitaphal mastani at this outlet, just near the the Karve Statue on the Karve road. Both are deliciously sweet and give you an out of the world experience.
The pricing is quite normal and there is no ambiance to speak of, considering this is only an ice-cream and mastani parlour.

My favorite place for delicious mastani. However, the thickness of mastani was not proper, I guess more milk was added and it had become more like a milkshake. The taste was good. The dryfruit over the mastani add to its richness. They should try to maintain the quality and the original taste.
