Nice place. Asaal Puneri Thali. Unlimited Dahivada. Food quality is mind blowing. Not too big Thali but healthy and perfect one. Totally family place, also you can go with friends. Pocket friendly.
आई बाबा असती घरा तोचि व्हेज खाण्याचा वार.. आज संपूर्ण फॅमिली ला पार्टी साठी आमंत्रण होते आणि ते म्हणजे सुरस प्रसिद्ध dining हॉल ला आम्ही 15 जण होतो त्यामुळे जागा आधीच बुक केली भूक लागली होती प्रचंड म्हणून कधी एकदा ताट वाढलं जातंय आणि कधी आम्ही जेवायला बसतो अस झालं. मेनू वाचला वांग्याची भाजी, अळूच फदफ द,पनीर आलू मटार,मसालेभात, पापड गरमागरम भाजी दहिवडा
सगळ्यात पाहिले मला आवडणारी वांग्याची भाजी फास्ट केली मस्त शिजलेले वांग मुबलक प्रमाणात कूट,अळूची भाजी पण खूप मस्त जेवणात लज्जत येते ती यानेच. पापड छान, गरमागरम भजी जेव्हा आली तेव्हा 2,3,नव्हे चांगली 7,8 भजी कशी गट्टम होतात हे कळत देखील नाही. नंतर थंडगार दहिवडा वर आडवा हात मारायचा . एकंदर अनुभव खूप छान. 150 rs मध्ये एवढं मिळालं म्हणून खिसा ही आनंदी झाला

One of the awesome thali in Pune. Unlimited. Short but sweet combination of foods. You can go there with friends, family, etc. Dahivada is fix sweet. If you want you can purchase another sweet.

I have been visiting this place once or twice every month. Since we are non Maharashtrian , We are fond of poli, varan, dahi vada, bhaji, papad everything they serve is so delicious and true to Maharashtra food . Its almost been 13 years now. Thank you Suras for being so true to your name.

This is best dining hall in Pune. I use to visit same from last 15 years.
You will not face any health problem from food of this dining hall.
If you visited panjabi resto. then keep in mind that colours are used in food which are not supposed to eat by human.
but in this dining hall no such things are there.

What a food! Went here numerous times and never disappointed. Pure Maharashtrian food and authentic taste on any day. Only improvement I would like to suggest - plain rice can be better

Ths place is Clean, Neat n Tidy. Seating arrangement is cosy too! Ppl living old Marathi classic songs shudb going thr..! Nice n Melodious songs they play at relatively THT voice which is pleasantly audible :) So 3.5/5. Thn comes d Expeditious service so 4/5 n finally d Food. Dahi Wada is d best of all tht they serve :) baki jewan pan mast! No spicy, tikhat kami aslyana.. Ughra pana nahi.. Saumya jewan.. Lakshat rahil ase.. Beet Root chi koshimbir pan mastay :) ppl loving Maharashtraian food shud dfntly go. ! 4.5/5 fo food. Baki dish/Thaali madhye y'll get chutney, Koshimbir, Papad, Lonche, Poli, Bhaji, 2 Bhajjya, Aamti, Bhaat, Dahi wada and yes sweet is optional n I think so only avail on Sunday's. Best lunch home with low cost...... Excellent food quality.... I will always recomend to everyone who love to eat PUNERI thali.... No unnecessary add-on hence one can have proper lunch with satisfied test..
We went here in a group of 20 people for lunch. At first the place looked very ordinary and the location where its situated is not very easy to find for a new person.
The food served was good in taste and like home. We enjoyed the food. However one thing I would like to bring to notice that when we asked for the rice, the waiter gave us masala bath and we came to know later that its extra charge and not included in the plate, the waiter was suppose to first tell us that and then serve.
Anyways, overall the food was good. Ambiance was average and service was fine.
One can try this place once.

I rarely opt for a full thali for lunch, since I am very picky about the veggies that I eat.
At my colleagues’ behest, I decided to go to Suras for lunch today. My frame of reference has Baadshahi, Sukanta, Rutugandha, Durvankur, Mayur, etc. Clearly, the big shots of Maharashtrian, Gujarati, Rajasthani thalis have set the bar quite high already. Suras, with the modest décor and almost no fuss menu was not impressive to look at; but I have learned to never judge an eatery by its interior design. Many places- be it in main market of Godhra, or Connaught Circle of Delhi- I have tried have had very basic décor, but boasted of truly amazing food, and rightly so. The name of Suras just got added to that list. I peeped into the kitchen, and was satisfied with the people and the overall cleanliness.
The menu for today was all typical Puneri. Aloo chi bhaji (thick gravy based on arbi/arvi laves, with boiled groundnuts), green peas ussal, dahi wadas, capsicum and toor daal flour sabji, masala rice, steamed rice, daal, daal fry, onion pakodas, beetroot salad, and pickle with papads. PHEW!
I took a good 45 minutes to finish my second and third helpings, doing full justice to every particle of food on my plate! The pakodas and papad were fresh and crisp. The chapattis were soft, freshly made. Dahi wadas were OK. The salad was not so good, I think the beetroots were boiled. I liked both types of rice, and the most awesome part was when the server poured a generous amount of thick, grainy ghee on the rice! HEAVEN!
The star of the meal, for me though, was the aloo chi bhaaji. I am a big fan of the item, and the preparation here was very close to perfection. I would have preferred a hint of amsul (kokum) in it. But hey, this was still very good!
All this, with beautiful Marathi songs from the 70s-80s. Tell me what’s not to like? In Sanskrit or Marathi, it is called “saagra-sangeet”, meaning n the (soothing) company of (soft) music.
Instantly, this place is now my recommendation for anyone who wants an authentic Maharashtrian dining experience, hygienic and fresh food, at a very comfortable INR 120 apiece.

The best thali I have ever had. Its simple, modest without a false grandiose.
Three veggies, one dry sabji, one salad, papad, chapati, rice, dal, curd and a sweet dish. That's enough I guess.
It has very nice taste, not so spicy and best suited for all ages and genders.
One should visit on sundays...unlimited desserts, now who wouldn't like that?

Our family driver showed me this hotel and I didn't find any restaurant in pune that match thr quality of food they provide in 120. Its somewhat traditional type dining hall and you should must visit if you want to enjoy taste of food and not surrounding. Pakodas, dahiwadas, rotis are pefect and everything is unlimited. Waran bhat tup is just too good..

This place is one of the thali specialists in town. I heard about this place from one of my friends and one day i got the chance to visit it. The hall is to the left on the first floor when u enter the building.
The ambience of this place isn't up to the mark however the service is fabulous and super fast. The moment you sit down on chair and whoilaaaa in next few seconds you have a plate filled with delicious thali menu they serve.
They provide many diffrent items in the thali like 3 sabjis along with dahi wada, papad, salad ,onion pakoda [ALL UNLIMITED] just for 120/- (i was like 😲WHAAAT!)
Optional sweets like kheer, rabdi or gulabjamun are available too. They serve proper puneri food and you will love their rice and daal.
They maintain good hygiene and you don't have to worry about parking too. You will love each and every item they serve. Far better than well known thali brands in pune like durwankur and sukanta comparing on the basis of what they charge and what they serve.
A must visit value for money place.
P.S: they charge extra on chaturthi.

One of the best aamras thali I've had, the aamras didn't have any pulp mixed neither it was grinded, it was purely handmade aamras just like home, other than that the fruit salad, panner, corn soup was really tasty, and as I went on Chaturthi they also had limited modak.
Definitely comes highly recommended and for the price it was really worth it.
Food quality was good.. Whoever required less spicy, typical Maharashtrain thalli.. They can visit here. It is inside Plaza hence ample of parking space are available. We visited On Sunday noon..

Unlimited Lunch starting Rs.330. Two types of sweets unlimited which included aamras and gulab jamun. Dahiwade, curry sabzi, rotis, two types of rice, papad chutney pickle, salad. The servers are always behind you to serve.
Taste is good. But I have complaint, we were 18 persons went for the dinner, our guests came late. After the dinner we request owner to wait for 10mins but they can't stop. We stuck inside the hotel as all gate was locked. From owner side no one was available to rescue us. Others in the building helped us to exit. Lift was not working.

Never ever have I had such a finger licking Maharashtrian Lunch. Suras Dining scores over all the traditional dining eateries that Pune knows so far.
The quantity of take away food is so kuch that 2 lunches are good enough for 6-8 persons. The preparation is very very tasty and you wish you had a bigger appetite.
The service is exceptional. I had ordered packed lunch and told them to keep my parcel ready, which to my delight was actually packed and kept ready. This was unlike my previous day's experience with another leading eatery in Deccan area , who kept me waiting for over an hour ( even though I had called and told them about myborder) as though it were his birthright.

One of the best Maharashtrian thali,no bulk items , simply great taste and non spicy and oily food.Dahi wada is very tasty and unique.You can get quality food at ₹150-180.Also please don't expect any royal treat of food coz they are providing reasonable food items.
You get to enjoy a traditional maharashtrian thali. The owners have managed to retain the food quality over the years. The thali is available at very affordable price of 250Rs per thali with unlimited servings.
