We went to the Salunkhe Vihar branch and had the Qabili rice. The meat was tenderly cooked, just how you would want. So reasonably priced for the taste. I recommend to all.
An amazing Afghani delicacy. Been here thrice and was delighted to taste Chicken digeh which was prepared to the perfection. Again the taste was as original as it should be, loved it. Thank you
An authentic Afghani delicacy.
By far has to be my favorite restaurant in Pune. They’ve made sure that the authenticity of the Afghani Cuisine is intact unlike other restaurants that tweek the taste for the majority of the population. The food is clean, pocket friendly and tastes like home. Bamyan is definitely my go-to restaurant.
Do try the chicken degeh, saffron rice and chana daal. Plain and simple but so satisfying!
Amazing food. Authentic arabian food. Tha saffron rice and meat khorma was awesome. Must try Mantu. Its a dumpling but quite different in taste. All in all we liked a lot. Only upset was they took lot of time for serving the food. But I must say it was worth waiting for that amazing food.
Try their mutton mantu. It's really delicious. Great service. It's a small place but go for it if you want to grab a quick bite with friends

this place brings the saying to life - the best food experiences humble you! quaintly located next to konark nagar society, this is a foodie delight..the owners/staff are really polite and courteous..limited menu but fabulous..I like that they have not tried to alter authentic dishes to suit the local palette..it's traditional Afghani recipes..! I am going to keep visiting..! mumtaz, digeh, kabuli pulav, mantu, and more! pricing..quality..qualtity - full marks!
We managed to visit this place quite early on, as it had opened just recently. The meats are well-marinated and the food is served with love! Would definitely visit again to try other options on the menu. Wishing the team all the best!
This is a cozy little place in Vimannagar which serves delicious Afghani and Middle Eastern food. The food is absolutely divine and the place is never too crowded. The host was cheerful and friendly.
You'll also get a good value for your money and the portion sizes are enough to feed at least two people.
Though we had to wait for quite some time before our main course was served. But I am not complaining as long as the food is that delicious.
We had ordered Degeh Kebab, Qabali Palaw and two others I can't recall the names of. The Degeh Kebab is a must try at this place. The chicken was perfectly cooked and succulent.

Lucky to find this easy to miss restaurant around the time it had just opened. Super friendly owner and more importantly super yum food! The Mumtaz kebab was killer. They're all afghani if I'm not mistaken and in all honesty I'd rather risk it and go to Afghanistan than face pune traffic ever again.
Really nice and wholesome portions. The kebabs are soft and the meat in the pulaw is even softer. Highly recommended. And also very friend staff
Wanted to try out Afghani food and hit the jackpot! Their Degeh Kabab was amazing! A very limited menu but amazing hospitality and taste. Must visit.
This is by far the best culinary experience I've had in a long, long time. I was floored for the first time with the Digeh kebab (dry) which is a really large portion. It's a slow cooked dish and unlike any other. It doesn't compare with the usual mughlai or Iranian dishes. The next time I was blown away by the traditional barley soup and the afghani fried rice (which was completely bland but full of fragrance). It has become my regular take away thanks to its super-low price.
The food is authentic and amazing. I have eaten all most everything on their small menu. Very tasty food pocket friendly price. The Firni is a must try.
Have the best Afghan Food in Pune at Bamyan... the Qabali Palaw the Afghan National Dish one of the amazing Palaw you can ever have. Must Try!
Bamyan is the best place for eating Afghan foods, the kababs are amazing especially the Mumtaz Kebab which bamyan is the only place serving it. And Qabili Palaw and Firni are the most amazing Afghan Palaw Rice and Dessert available in Bamyan.
Amazing hospitality. This place being run my three people and we met the owner. Candid, sweet and amazing way of greeting his clients. The happy face which I can never forgot.
Food was amazing. It was quite a lot when it comes in quantity. Service I would rate excellent. Ambience also good. I wish him all the best for his new venture soon. Keep up the good work.
I went from Wanorie to viman nagar especially to try afghani cuicine. From outside it looked very small thus thought of taking parcel but when i went and ordered, met the owner Mr.Asif and came to know they were around 10 days old.
Changed my mind & decided to dine there. They serve afghani cuisine which is very similar to Indian cuicine but It was an amazing experience. Their flavour & aroma of food was superb. I think the best in town. Everything was perfect. loved each and every kebabs. I tried 3 types & rice preparation was also superb, i cant forget the aroma & the tender soft chicken...... Will surely visit again, will also take friends who are foodies like me.
