This place is legendary given its history of being there in the market for fourteen long years - the staff and owners as well are very amicable. The set up is outdoor in nature but got a nice warm feeling.
In terms of food, the shawarma here is worth dying for. Totally pocket friendly and the cherry on the top is that the food tastes brilliant. Over the years, the quality has not deteriorated one bit. Totally value for money. Chicken noodles along with chicken manchow soup are worth tasting.
Casa Lolo is the place to be where you get the best food, good service without any pocket pinch.
I only had their experience of shawarma. I ordered it from zomato.The ordered reached on time and I was able to eat fresh shawarma from this outlet. The shawarma was something different and it was great to try something new.Thanks casa Lolo for your great dish.
I'm happy that this place is on Zomato, I used to visit for parcels... A very good place for inexpensive Chinese. My personal favorite are Chicken Manchow soup and shwarma.

Chicken shawarma was delicious! It was well packed, wraped in butter paper. The size could have been bigger, and may include more pieces of chicken. Overall it was good enough.

This place used to be an absolute favourite to have lebanese food. However, over the years the quality of food has dropped quite a bit. Falafel, chicken shawarma roll, chicken shawarma plate and pita bread were some of my favorites.

Casa Lolo is a casual dine out place. It's like any other food outlet. Shwarma and Arabian Platter are the most ordered dishes here. The previous one is good but the latter disappointed me thoroughly. Other options include rolls and chinese of decent taste.

You can get decent schwarma at fair price. It is certainly an exotic street food among traditional street food items. This perhaps the only place in western Pune to get schwarma, adding credits to its menu

Go here only if you don't mind unhygienic places and if you can stomach roadside food once in a while. For vegetarians there aren't a lot of worthy options but my staples are the Falafel Roll, Hummus Roll and the Falafel Plate. They are delicious but the quality is not consistent.
I had been in this area quite a few times but never knew this place exists probably because it's small and located in the corner. As soon as I read its review on zomato, told my friends about it and we were here in the evening. It has outdoor seating arrangement only and its quite good except for the biting mosquitoes.
We ordered arabic grill chicken and chicken shawarma roll. Within very few minutes, the food was on our table.
Arabic grill chicken was something I never tasted before. It was juicy, tender,cooked perfectly served with tasty chutney. Shawarmas are undoubtedly the best in town.
After that we ordered schezwan noodles which were awfully cooked,raw and tasteless.
Overall, the place is worth visiting for Arabic grill and tasty shawarmas.

I had heard so much about this place even before I visited Pune. And when I did visit for the first time, Casa Lolo had to be on the top of my list. I must say, it's worth every praise I ever heard about their food. We went for a chicken shawarma roll and a shwarma plate. And Ā boy was it good! It was the best tasting shawarma I have had so far. The pita was thinner and softer, way better than what I have had. They tasted authentic. The chicken was crumbly and melt in theĀ mouth, hot and freshly cut off the grill. Their garlic sauce was equally good.
The outdoor seating is comfortable and kinda fun and lively with shawarma and whole chicken being roasted right next to where you can see. The price of the Shwarma is a tiny bit on the higher side, but that's not a deal breaker. I am yet to try other things and will visit whenever I am in the city next time.

This time I tried chicken salami roll, it was good but different! I thought they will serve in Khabus(pita bread) but it was normal hotdog roll with their garlic paste!!!!

CASA LOLO is among one of the top 10 shawarma places in pune. True fact . The shawarma roll that i hadwas just above what i expected from the shaddy place. Ignore the ambiance. Also what came to the point was 1 full shawrma plate with cold coffee which was a cheery on the cake. Excellent place for shawarma lovers. Must visit.

But anyway quite recently I have heard so much from soo many people about the shawarmas here so I finally went in to give it a shot.
I have lived in kuwait for almost 18 years so you all would know how much I love this type of cuisine.
I went in with a friend we intially ordered two shawarmas and falafel plate.
Falafel plate had 4 pieces of falafel,hummus & 2 khaboos. Hummus was good just okay but falafel was a big big disappointment.
However the shawarmas were insanely amazing , I still cant get over it. It was soo soo good. Defenitely in the top 3 places for shawarma in pune.
We loved it soo much that we ordered two more :D defenitely going back here for the yummy shawarmas. However about the other food items on the menu , I can just say try at your own risk :p
I loved shwarma roll at this place and would recommend it to any non veg food lover for sure.
I also liked Chinese (tried triple rice ) and found it to be good.

This place serves some seriously amazing Chicken Shawarma rolls. I have never had such Shawarmas in Pune anywhere. The Chicken Arabia is to die for!
I used to be a regular visitor especially during month-ends since the prices are quite reasonable. The owner is a very friendly guy. Service is pretty good and most of the times you can help yourself with anything you need there.
In a nutshell, this place is a must-visit for any Shawarma lovers. I bet you will never regret it.

This was the first time I was trying Chicken Shawarma. We ordered the Shawarma Plate which comes with a plate of small roasted pieces of chicken along with pita bread and mayonnaise. The combination of roasted chicken mixed with mayo along with the soft pita bread was delightfully good. We ordered 1 more pita bread to finish the Shawarma Plate. A good place to try Lebanese food and later chill in Kamala Nehru Park which is just opposite this joint.
A good place for college students. Basically a hangout spot.
Food : Beautiful Shwarma available here. Maybe a bit bland for those who eat spicy food, but the taste is beautiful. Other dishes available here are typical dishes. Nothing special.
Ambience : It is a sort of a 'tapri' so no ambience as such.
Service : Ok. The service here is similar to the service at a 'dhaba'. But nothing to complain.
Other suggestions :
ā¢ 4 wheelers may struggle for parking space. 2 wheelers may avoid their vehicles on weekends.
ā¢ Minimum waiting time for a table for 2 on weekends : 10 min.

Casa Lolo has a domino effect when it comes to their food. How so?
Eat one thing from their menu and you'd be jonesing for the other, then another, and another. Until the chicks sitting at your table get grossed out or your buddies remind you that "Dude - Paishe Sammple"Ā
The Shwarma, the Arabic Grill, or Hell anything for that matter is not genuine middle eastern fare. But as far the indian twist goes, the stuff here packs a mean ass punch. The grills are done really well and the chicken will always be succulent and full of life (even though it's really really dead)
It's insanely hunger whetting when you see those murgisĀ going round and round on the rotisserie. Damn, I am salivating on the screen here!
The food here is fully loaded with the ooeeyyy gooeeyy goodness of garlic mayonnaise and the stuff is often fresh.
Aside from the shwarma or the shwarma platter or the grills which almost 90% of the piggies here order, their chicken burger is quite decent too. They used to have an orgasmic mutton seekh roll too, but sadly I didn't find that on the menu anymore.
India's classic obsession with all things chineseĀ had come a shade close to ruining this place as well, but in the end those gorgeous legs sexily triumphed and though Casa Lolo is doing some crap chinese food on the side, the arabicĀ pakwaans are still dominating their KoTs.
Price wise. Like I said earlier, major juntaa here hasn't yet seen 25 summers and so the pricing is in line with their delight. Every once in a while the erstwhile Deccan public also reunites here just to pig-out on some great, greasy food and catch up on old times. Full Marks for keeping the price manageable.
Service. Kuch bhi kya!!!. If you try acting too posh for service here, they'll know you're a Casa Lolo virgin and probably laugh at you too. Just go and order.... bark out loudly if you aren't catered to.... get up and grab that extra mayonnaise... And make yourself at home!!!

Surely a must visit place for Shawarma lovers. Tried Chicken Arabia and it was far far better than tandoori chicken. Not a huge space to sit. Nothing great about the ambience. So if you just love and crave good chicken and really don't give a damn about ambience....this is a place to be. Just one suggestion, shawarma quantity seemed a bit less if you are taking it on the plate and not as a roll.
A Good shwarma joint in this area . The rolls are awsome. the arabic grill is also a good option. chinese here is also worth trying. quantity nd quality both are good

i hvae being to this place few days back and then I was really hapieeee :) I mean awesome man!! First comes the ambience. I love Pharell William's "Happy song" and was welcome-ed with the same. The chairs and tables are arranged in a very cute manner. Lil dangling wooden chair and lil table :* hw sweet could they be! really nice :) I'll be rating 3/5 for the ambience there. The food : So we ordered hong-kong noodles in veg and an arabian grill thingy with humus or something like that. It came with white sause stuff. And goshhhh!!!!!! Am i mean now i should say i was a vegitarian earlier but tht smell lingered like anything and i turned to a non-vegeterian and ate one entire peice + 2 humuos and tht sause ws licked till we left tht place :D :P :D. therefore i'll be rating the food 4/5. Sevice : was average. Nothing special nor lower graded. Ā So, 3/5 for service.

Nothing much to talk about the ambience of this place. They have small.wooden tables which accommodates 4 people and there are sharp nails sticking out of it so ya be.careful coz i got myself hurt by one of them.

Chicken Shwarma is a must when you visit this place. Arabic grill is another good option, which is available in 2 quantities (Half/Full). Half Arabic Grill is sufficient for 2 people.

Only cleanliness is an issue but barring that, everything on the menu is simply amazing. It is superb and brilliant and very very affordable, the food here is not healthy but then its meant for the soul... So don't think, simply HOGG!

Coming to the food , this place serves authentic Lebanese food. First visited it in 2008 , tried their chicken shawarma and was totally mesmerized since then. Frankly speaking I haven't tried anything else apart from the shawarma here. The perfect place for a sunday brunch .

Firstly, I've been going to this place for the last five years now and I should mention that the quantity they used to give then was more than what they give now. But the food quality has remained the same. And obviously even the cost has increased. But not so drastically.
Ambience wise its decent with small wooden stools and tables. In fact its good student hangout place. And currently, after having shawarma at a lot of places I would say theirs is not that bad for the price at which they serve. They also serve a lot of other things but its better to stick to their Lebanese items only.
Parking for 4-wheelers might be a problem. For 2-wheelers, consider yourself lucky if you get any which is closer to the shop.
(P.s : although they're open throughout the day, the shawarma dishes are served only in the evenings after around 6pm)

This place attracts really good crowd. Casa lolo is very much pocket friendly.
Once you try these items and you want to have coffee, just reach out to Ramdev baba tea stall. I had one of the best coffee in pune at this place. Do ask the owner to make the coffee for you. If h ask why, do a little buttering and see the wonder. :)
They know how to make falafels just the right way!! The best place in pune for a falafel and garlic paste and hummus. Slow service and not so clean surroundings does not make me stop going there!

Once while wandering about in the KNP area I spotted chicken being 'rotisseried' on a vertical spit. I forgot where i was going and walked straight into this place and boy that was the best chicken shawarma i ever had at that price (Rs 70/-).

Don't even look at the Chinese section on the menu. The Lebanese delicacies will surely keep you hooked at a very affordable price.

One of my favourite take away joints in Pune. Casa lolo, is situated in a corner location opposite Kamla Nehru Park and does home delivery (say within 3 kms). The service is quick. The person on the telephone has a good sense of location, knowledge about the menu and prices and is quick to take the order. If you land up the at joint, you may have to wait, and if the weather permits, its actually a nice experience to sit on their red-yellow wooden benches and have a meal.
One of my regular orders were a chicken arabic grill. Always always, this was grilled to perfection. Soft, succulent pieces, a full portion can be shared by three people. It comes with tahini and pita bread. They could perhaps serve it with humus as well. I also love the shawarma rolls which is prepared with some veggies and generous amounts of chicken carved out of the grill. You may also just order for a shawarma plate which comes as shredded chicken pieces carved of the grill, little bit of a tahini dressing served on a bed of french fries. Other lebanese take aways have all come and gone, and casa lolo has stuck around for a while now (almost 6 years). Undoubtedly one the best in the area!
Pocket pinch: Rs 300 for two
Satisfaction: When you're on a diet and craving for yummy chicken but don't really want to break the regime, order for half a portion of grilled chicken, its made in almost no oil. Yes, its that much satisfaction.
A very tiny little place with very affordable prices. Its a favorite for any college student around Bhandarkar/Prabhat/Law College/ SB Road.
Do not expect much from the ambiance at all. I don't really think we can call it much of an ambiance either. Its nicely lit with dim lights, and the Shawarma Roll is surely a must-have! Prices at just Rs. 70, it is filling and well prepared. The full grilled chicken for Rs. 250 is something that completely blew me away and they have god milkshakes too! (At just 20/-)
If you're a hungry college student, low on cash and still are on a lookout to fill yourself up like a king with good food - this is THE place you go to!
The best part? - At just 200 you can eat like a king! And if you're on the lookout for cheap desert after this (if you really can) - KnP is right opposite - Go have a Kulfi!

Damn !!! I love this place... !! Its a sit-out and serves awesome snacks. I love the shwarma here. It is authentic and tastes exactly like the one I had in UAE. The only difference however was that the original shwarma does not have onions in it. Though you might think it is a bit expensive as compared to the amount served, you would be paying some more to carry on with the taste ! Do not forget shwarma roll... 70 bcks !!
