Cravings for Spicy, Hot, Tasty Mutton Thali?? This is the one Restaurant you should be. Bhakri, Mutton Curry, Suka Mutton. Spicy Hot great taste, ate till a satisfying burp. Recommended only for those who love and can have next level spicy food. The lamb pieces were cooked well and was tender. Bajra Bhakri was perfect as it should be.
Mutton Thali and Bhakri is the perfect combination.
Ambience and crowd is suitable for men. Some families may not feel comfortable here.

Ambience may not be great but if you love spicy food do step in. Had been to this place more than once. Prices are reasonable.
Today we had taken parcel of Vajadi Masala. It was very clean. Very tasty. Good for summer season. Quantity very less. My freinds liked it very much.
By virtue of the name & location one could easily be trapped to assuming this is a misal kind of shanty, but no. It's 'the place' when it comes to non vegetarian cooked Maharashtrian style.
The food is a pleasant surprise & so are the service folks. Service time is about 5 to 10 minutes which is just about right to settle over a nice solkadi.
If in PCMC serving a tough day in the industrial area, jump in here folks. Jai Maharashtra!

This is real Maratha Treat, They are serving since last 35 years with same quality and superb test. I have visited this place with my friend, i surprised by their prices, food is very low cost compared to other restaurants and it's top in quality also. One thing i like that both chicken and mutton dishes are at same price. Place is neat and clean even kitchens are so tidy, service is so prompt, We ordered mutton curry and it was so delicious and spicy. It's only for real men, I would highly recommend this to people who love mutton and non veg dishes & it's very cost effective though.
Absolutely treat for Mutton lovers.....plenty of variety in Mutton dishes.....appropriate amount of spices.....excellent taste......I ordered SPECIAL MUTTON THALI.....it cost me 350 Rs.......but you get so much in that thali.....my photos will clear the picture......ambiance is low....still room is airy and fresh.....worthy to go once....

Just the right amount of spices used in gravies. Main part, by spices they mean spices only n not the chilly. Got a chance to meet the introducer of jagubai, Kaka, n I took snap with him too. His son Mr.Mauli ia a champ sitting on the counter.

Aalni mutton is a delicacy, simply yummy less spicy, rassa awesome with a hint of coriander n fat oil...
Main part, They serve Sheep, only Sheep (Bolai/Menda). Deliciously served. Toooo Gooood.

Had a nice dinner at this place. We went for mutton thali. It was a in perfect blend of maharastrian style and spice, mutton was properly cooked for chewy and digestible. Would recommend to a friend for a new experience. Overall about the service and food the rating - VERY GOOD.

Based on the reviews and ratings and the cost for two factor We decided to have dinner at Hotel Jagubai, it was a good experience, the service is prompt, the place is clean, you can see the places where they keep and prepare food and it is also clean and tidy.
They have a separate family section and a normal section. We ordered 2 chicken thalis and 1 plate Chicken sukka.
The thalis had 3 bhakris (baari), one bowl Chicken gravy (with 3 chicken pieces), some rice and 1 bowl of tambda rassa.
The bhakris were very soft and had a good texture they went well with the Kolhapuri styled chicken gravy and tambda rassa.
Chicken Sukka was very hot and spicy and tasted good.
@140rs for Gawrani chicken thali and 150rs for Chicken Sukka it will not burn a hole in your pocket but if you are not used to eating spicy food it will definitely burn a hole in you.
Will I be going back again?
Probably not. The reason is not because of anything negatvie about the place. The reason is my preference of chicken.
Any chances anybody knows of a place where they prepare the regular type of chicken Kolhapuri style?
If you like Gawrani chicken and Kolhapuri styled food this will be one of the better VFM places to go to.
For the management: Do Include Masala Taak or Chaas in your menu, it will go best with the type of food being served instead of cold drinks.

The place exists since long time near KSB chowk (Shahu Nagar). It started as small restaurant but now it has grown up as relatively bigger place. Steel furniture, tiles on the wall, pictures of goddess and lords; this no frill setup is close to a mess/canteen. Typical patrons are rustic and my sophisticated friends usually keep a distance from this place.
Specializing in Sheep meet with punch line “Gharguti Jhankebaj Kolhapuri Jewan” which means “home cooked hot and spicy Kolhapuri meal” is worth the name. The kitchen is on one side of L shape hall and transparent (you can see how the food is cooked).
At very reasonable rates; they offer Thali, Biryani in chicken and mutton; Handi, Dry and wet chicken and mutton preparations as well as specializing in Wajdi preparation.
I have been visiting the place regularly but not frequently since past many years and consistent taste has been an important aspect.
Thali is my favorite meal. It comes with 3 Bhakhris (Bajra/Green), one portion of chicken/mutton with 3 small pieces, 1 bowl of tambda rassa (spicy and hot broth), a portion of rice, onion and lemon slice. Just for Rs 140.
The bakhris are always warm and soft, the rassa is spicy and hot and same is the chicken portion which usually lacks flash.
Only Bajra/Green bhakhris available.
The spices and chili used in rassa have specific property to cause burning sensation around lip not during eating but only post meal for some time.
Tasty food at very reasonable cost. Never disappointed, never left hungry.

Good Maharashtrian non veg food. If u looking for ambiance this would not be an ideal place to sit and have food with it girl, wife etc. Take away suggested then, affordable and good food.
Bhakri, mutton curry, knots and tripe or vazedi (all mutton). In short good value for money.
To be honest I was a bit sceptical about this place but to my surprise found the food very cost-effective. Tried sukka mutton and mutton curry. Both were very good considering each dish costed a mere Rs.150. I went here just once but will definitely plan some other visit whenever I crave for some desi style mutton.

Totally mahashtrian non-veg resto. Mutton dishes are excellent. Gravy (rassa) is "the best" but extra spicy. Soup is tasty,
Mutton fry, liver fry, mutton biryani are must try items.
Vazadi fry (intestine) a very rare item is also available and is good.
Afternoon is the best time to visit.
Good Restaurant. You can try once. Especially Sukha Mutton is one of the best item they have.

Only place for motton. Specially of u want to try Wazadi this is the place. The owner himself is the head chef which maintains the taste.
Mutton lover people must visit. Once you visit here you will get the real taste of Gavran mutton n chicken. Guys prefer mutton thali here taste is awesome. They serve quality food with using nice spices. Special home made Masale are used for such a tasty food.
