Visited this recently. It's an entire new ambience for the young crowd. To-go place for live screening. Also, their traditional butter chicken is a must try.

After Renovation, I was at Kavi on 9th mar,2019 - what a nice theme they made - just feel like I was sitting at Goa ;;; nice service there ..ckn hakka noddles, mutton sukka Kala masala we had taken ....wowww their tastes...I started order food on Zomato.....

One of the best typical bars of pune. Nice variety of dishes and alcohol to choose from. Should try to keep cocktails and provide free wifi to give guests a good overall experience. Mr kartik shetty, owner and mr Shivaji and mr Dinesh are gracious hosts
This has been our "spot" for drinks since college days....and we still enjoy visiting with same old buddies.

A nice place to hang out with friends. Ordered tandoori chicken and butter chicken. Tandoori chicken was well roasted and tasty. Butter chicken was also good at taste. Overall service was fast . A nice experience altogether.

This is our adda. There was a time when this is used to be our Saturday evening place. Reasonable drinks. Service is good. You can't complain about the food either. The tables are too close to each other, person on the next table can have a nice entertainment if he is sitting alone and you are with your friends.

A pure bar experience.! when you need a quick quarter or a beer or relax and have talks about life with your close friends this is one of the ideal spots. Food is good for its price and the drinks are cheap as well.
Kavi, the best place to go when you want to empty your quarter. Strictly a place for all the drinkers who between themselves surely will enjoy their 'quarter' till the last drop. Regarding food, good starters especially the Chicken Bullet as coined by my friend and owner Kartik Shetty, a dish specially prepared by him. Try chicken tikka for sure, and don't forget their cheese chilly toast and garlic naan,for the main course go for chicken kaalimiri or butter chicken or just stick to the jeera fried rice-dal tadka. Ample servings and value for money

Been a regular here since 2013 and the vibe of this place has only gotten better with time. The chicken sukka kaala masala boneless and butter chicken are out of this world. As for alcohol aficionados, there's no better bar in town. If they don't have something you specifically want, rest assured they'll go and get it for you. The staff is always up for a joke or two, the lighting is practically perfect for an evening-to-late-night drinking session, and there's always some or the other live sport being telecasted in both sections of the restaurant.
The last few years, thanks to the interior redesign, have also seen a healthy influx of female customers regularly (which was once a rarity at Kavi). So, go on and experience the magic with your friends. And if you're drinking alone, there's a good chance that you might find more than a few tables chattering away, indulging in heavy debates, from sports and films to politics and business, giving you ample entertainment at all times.
P.S. The place is buzzing even on the most mundane weekday evenings!
A perfect joint on Karve road with reasonable priced. It's been renovated and so it's now hegenic compare to old Kavi.Only old Pune citizens know how it was in year 1998 around
Great food and service. The place looks nice. We had chicken cheese kabab, some other kabab i don't remember the name of, and hakka noodles. All were good.
If you want to chill, have a nice drink without any disturbance you should visit here once.
The waiters here are so friendly so helpful, food is so good and the vibe is amazing.

Super crowded bar but that's the actual USP of this place. It's never empty, or at least I have never been here when it's not crowded. The crowd is also good and food and service are usually top class. Hope they introduce new snacks at affordable rates.
Well and a good place for hanging out alone or with friends. Biryani was superb but costlier. They charged around 420 for a tuborg strong and egg omelette. I guess we can have crafted beer also but not tried. It's a rush place.
