As soon as you step in, It’s a time travel to old pune. People queue up here and wait for their turn patiently on stairs. Their most famous product is misal, followed by Batata Wada, Sabudana Wada, Sabudana Khichadi. We tried today all items mentioned above. Except sabudana wada everything was very tasty. Their chutney is best of all. Misal tarri has two versions Spicy and normal. Chopped onions and sliced lemon provided as per request. Overall a wonderful experience. Shall visit again.

One of my must visit places when I visit Pune City peth area. I am a die hard fan of khichadi specially their chutney. The misal is also tasty😋. Typical Puneri misal served with slice bread. Taak is a must combination with the misal. Only the issue is of parking which can be sorted if you visit their Sinhagad Road Branch.

Very old misal shop with really authentic taste. You can customize more or less spicy according to your taste by informing them prior. Here they serve bread slices not the buns . Price is reasonable. Ambience is okay. Even though it is small but well maintained and nice. It closes at 6.30 PM not at 8.30 or so as mentioned in this Google maps timing. Everything there taste really good. Worth a try. Must visit.

The place serves many snacks, misal being the most demanded. The staff is helpful and attentive. The place is a bit cramped and the seating is okay. What is worth it is the misal which is not too spicy or sweet and tastes just what you expect. It is a bit hard to notice in a moving car but the crowd gives it away. P.s. If you like misal, you should try this place.

The food provided here is of good quality. They maintain proper hygiene. But the taste is not up to the mark as I have heard about this place just hiped alot. I would say It is a bit costly. In misal paon they provide sliced bread not the typical paon that is served in Maharashtrian paon dishes. But that's quite good. The misal was less spicy i.e very less than expected. It costs 70/- with two bread slices. Extra slices costs 5. Sabudana khichdi served here is really good, they charge 50/- for the same. It is actually named as Shree uphar. There is road side parking lot for this restaurant. It is not exactly a restaurant it is kind of a small outlet with two to three tables with bench and a counter. Whenever I will visit the Dagduseth Halwai Ganesh Temple I will go there for sabudana khichdi specially. They open in the morning at around 9 and close at around 4-5 pm. So make sure you go in between that. Actually I have seen people serve very thin gravy as misal in most of places but here it's very good.

Shree upahar gruh is the oldest hotel near Laxmi road. I have been visiting this place for many years. Their preparation of Misal is different from other hotels, Sabudana khichdi is also from the must have list.

One of the oldest most famous Maharastrain snacks called ‘Misal’ - made of rice flakes, bean sprouts, potatoes served with a spicy liquid curry called ‘Sample’ along with two pieces of bread. It is located within the heart of the old city on the busiest streets in Pune.

Was happy to see the renovated place after my previous visit that was almost 2 years back.. Simple seating arrangement.. Clean cutlery & hygienic surroundings.. Misal-Pāv was good; just that my liking is that on the spicier side.. Here Tarree is unlimited.. Extra slice of bread is chargeable.. The initial dry mixture is the standard Misal mixture of batātā bhāji, matki usal & farsān.. Cost ₹70 with ₹5 per extra slice A small glass of Taak (buttermilk) is unflavoured but thick ⟨i.e. not too watery⟩ so overall good.. Cost ₹20.. Definitely worth a try... Good for quick bite..

Shree Uphar Gruh provides best misal in pune . They provide it with bread slices . And sample here taste as good as you get it . Other snacks item also have a good specific taste a typical PUNERI taste . One more item that I like and I get it every time I get here is SABUDANA KHICHADI with coconut chatni . Sabudana khichadi here taste a puneri taste with little sweetness in it . And shree uphar gruh is consistently famous snaks and misal centre among the PUNEKARS

This is a place much hyped when you are in pune and trying out Puneri misal is on your list. The Misal here is served with two slices of bread which is pretty unsual since misal tastes the best with pav. The cost of a plate is 70 rs. which is what all popular outlets there in pune charge. 2 extra slices of bread costed me Rs.10 extra. The misal here in pune has a slightly sweet in taste. which is exactly opposite to one in Kolhapur the spiciest served. What you can expect in misal is poha , small bits of potato, sprouts. and farsan. The misal served hot is great at taste. Also you can ask the guy to make the misal spicy according to your spice appetite. Though the misal at shree uphar gruh had been spiced appropriately. I think the pictures uploaded will help you get an insight of the misal i am talking about.
