Food quantity and taste is really good with very affordable rates. Good place for bachelors and students for mess off day. Recommendations :- Chicken Handi, Butter Chicken, Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Biryani, Chicken Lollypop, Chicken Adraki, Chicken Malvani.

What u want u will get here.. Ambience is good... U get soft sofa to seat..staff is kind and attentive.. They suggest u variety of foods.. I went to sai Sagar restaurant many times.Every time I experienced good service,nice quality of food,good hygiene. Especially I love chicken Sai Sagar special dish..Which is too good and tasty.
Placed between ganjve chauk and Poona hospital chauk a nice restaurant for on the go lunch or dinner. In starter we had chicken tikka which was too much in quantity as well as flavourful. In main course had butter chicken and kulcha . Everything was nice. Try their kulcha instead of roti it is loaded with sesame seeds and butter. Butter chicken too good. And rates are too much pocket friendly as well as the quantity of food is generous.
I had ordered non- veg as well as vegetarian food, it is delicious. Food is also delivered by the outlet. Chapattis are a bit expensive but taste like home. Go for this small outlet which is big on tasty food.

I have been visiting this place since I came in Pune in 2004. Very pocket friendly and serves delicious food at the same time. There was a time when I used to visit this place at least once a week. Not only for its VFM food but also for the service.
Recommended Food: Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka masala, Chicken Bhoona, Sai Sagar special chicken, Paneer tikka masala, Chicken Fry Thali, Biryani
Food: This is one of the places where I have had amazing butter chicken in Pune. Grilled chicken in mildly spicy gravy topped with butter tastes great. Paneer or chicken tikka masala which is a succulent pieces mingled in spicy gravy and a butter or garlic naan to go with it have been my another favorites here. Chicken fry thali is also good and filling. If I ever wanted change, I used to order bhoona chicken boneless which comes in medium spicy brown gravy or Sai Sagar special chicken which is a mix of 2 gravies. I am not a big fan of their Chinese preparations, but Chicken Pulao has hearty amount of chicken and so does the biryani. Their biryani is not extra ordinary but I never found a reason to complain about it either.
Service: I always get a good and welcoming service here may be because I have been very frequents here for many years now. Even the owner knows me and waives to me if I am passing by. For around 10 tables there are always 2 waiters, mostly guys from Andhra, who are pretty fast getting you a menu card and serving you your order. Though their menu knowledge is limited to spicy or sweet gravy, they always come and inform you if your order taking bit longer than usual. They keep you informed about the status of your order which is very very rare in this type of restaurants. Your repeat rotis are also served just before you are finishing your first one or at least immediately after you finish one. Full marks on service.
Ambience: Do not expect very hygienic or spotlessly clean atmosphere here. It is a very typical kind of an Andhra guys run restaurants. Your eating plates would definitely be clean but I cannot guarantee that you would not find an oily layer on your glasses or spoons. But it is okay. Here are 6 tables with sofas and then total four tables in middle have wooden chairs. These usually accommodates groups having more than 4 people. If not cricket match, then there is always a Hindi movie playing on a wall mounted TV in one corner.
Value for Money: Absolutely.

This is the 1st restaurant in pune where I had my lunch with my friend.....Dat time I used to live in sadashiv peth area...so this restaurant was close to our place...after dat I have been here many times...my favourite dish is butter. Chicken ...its awesome over here..n chicken thali n chinese food...are worth to try....service is fast over here...owner is very friendly and pilite....ambiance is nt dat ok..it accommodate few people at a time... its road touch restaurant ...so u can enjoy traffic view from this restaurant....would love to visit this place n recollect old memories .

Im so glad to have stopped by this place.
It was way damn hot outside and l was hungry.
Then i Saw this restaurant across the road and i made immediate plans of giving it a try by not searching more for other restaurants at this scorching heat.
Went in with very less expectations of having a good food, but i have to say that they have got some awesome non vegatarian thalis in their menu.. Price is Reasonable too!
I tried their chicken special thali which includes chicken kheema, chicken curry with 3 pieces and 1 single egg curry with masala rice to finish with. This thaali was worth Rs. 180!! quantity was fantastic and i had a tummy full lunch.
Next thing which we ordered was plain rice and Dal tadka.
I can proudly say that it was indeed one of the most tasty Dal tadkas that i have ever had in any restaurant! Simply mindblowing! so good that i decided to take one parcel home for dinner !!
The only problem i could see here was that the place is too congested, the food items were very oily and the drinking water surely didnt taste well and i opted for a packaged drinking water instead.
Again Ambience is not that great at all.. Its just a normal eatery kinda thing. One would just have to do quickly eat and leave that's all.
Girls also visit this place to eat and thats not a problem if you sometime plan to go here.
All in all it exceeded my expectations and i would definitely love to go here once again to try their Fish thalis.
So glad we decided to stop by this place in pune.

Sai sagar restaurant is a budget hotel where u cud buy food in low price. The taste is not bad for regular orders don't try any thing new in this place cuz it is not that worthy Try only regular starters,main course, Chinese. Don't try some thing new in this place Saturday evening and on Sundays it is rushed like any thing poor hospitality, but we deserve this place wen we r going through tight budget...
In Hotel Sai Sagar, I took Chicken Thadi, In Chicken Thadi they provide Chicken Curry, Tamala rassa, padhara rassa, Rice & Roti or Bhakari.
Taste is Good & Hygiene, They do not use heavy masala use in curry.
We tried Paneer Tikka Masala and it's taste is awesome. Non-veg dishes are also available here.
Paneer Tikka Masala costs us 150 rupees and it will be sufficient for two people.
Service is good but somewhat slow because of the Saturday rush.
For ambiance, I will give an average rating.
