On 29th dec'23, I had lunch with my family at this place.
Decided this place after a lot of options just to have the taste of Goan food. I must say I am not disappointed and rather it was a surprise to me that in pune, many people don't know about this place.

Amazing place to grab dinner , it’s not fancy ! Has plastic chair and tables but the food is fantastic . We had fish thali , batter fried prawns & fish curry was simply amazing ! Also their prawn biryani is smthing to definitely have . One of my favourite thing was the Portuguese dessert , serradura
Vernekar's located in the heart of Karve Nagar, is one of the best authentic Goan Food style you can find in Pune!!
Spacious seating, on toes service, briefing the menu is apt & ambience is awesome!
Entering this Hotel, you will feel typical Goan Vibes throughout from Artefacts & Menu Cards etc!

Pomfret fry was delicious. जवळा and chutney they served complimentary were delicious too. Prawns could have been better.
The food portion in thali is just right. Not too extra, not less. Fried fish, ghavan, coconut chutney are too yummy. Solkadhi has quite different taste than usual tangy & sweet, but it was good. Bebinca dessert is a must try.
Staff is really helpful and quick. Must visit place with family, friends.
Vernekars' Goan Fish Curry has some of the most delicious and authentic Goan seafood I have ever tasted. The fresh seafood was mixed with the perfect blend of spices. The extensive menu offered a wide variety of options, having everything from prawns to pomfret, making it a haven for seafood lovers.
What a delicious surprise 😋 Just saw this restaurant randomly and went inside. And the result was awesome. This is one of the best sea food I've tasted outside Goa. I'll describe briefly about food that we ordered
1) Prawns thali : I had prawn fry and prawn curry. Ample quantity. Prawn curry was out
Definitely definitely will recommend. Although a non vegetarians paradise but if you are eggetarian you can try their egg thali. Vegetarian thali is also available,we didn't order it though.
Egg Thali nd Fish Thali were too good. Thali Portion is also good enough for 1 people.

Great tasty Goan food available here. Nice ambiance. Rava fry fish is of authentic Goan taste.

Sea food is very delicious. Variety of seafood dishes are available. Here you get the unique goan dessert. Ambience and service is great. Considering the overall nice food, variety of items and great service, the cost of food is reasonable. Highly recommended place for seafood lovers.

If you want to enjoy sea food with authentic Goan taste, then this is "THE" place. Lovely food. Try surmai as well as pomfret thali with prawns gravy to get a wholesome meal. The restaurant typically has a long waiting time. So reach early.
Amazing fish thali. Fresh fish and very tasty. The service is top class too! The owners take great pride in making sure guests have a lovely experience. Cannot wait to visit again!
