Loved the food and the ambiance. The concept to convert a old heritage property into a hotel is a unique idea. The overall time spent there was really relaxing. The staff was very friendly.

One of the best restaurants I've been in a while. Really really delicious food. There is no compromise in quality and freshness of the food. Good restaurant to dine out with family or friends. Service might be a tad bit late but the quality of the dishes really make up for it. The staff was super friendly and polite. A must visit restaurant. Would love to go again ! Only suggestion would be to add some more menus to food and drinks !

The host Mr Agarwal was super friendly right from the time we entered, and as he promised the food was excellent. The veg Kheema on Khari, dynamite mushroom, Bun Mhaska plates were all too good. The food is absolutely delicious and great quantity, drinks are extremely affordable and the place is run by the friendliest bunch of people! Especially loved the prawns, the paan shot and all the customizable cocktails!

Mazdana has been in business for the longest however they were shut for a while and started off again few months back! The place has quite an interesting history !
Located near camp it can be your go to place to catch up with your folks or family over delicious food or alcohol!
The place gives a very chill and soothing vibe has been done up well. The menu is interesting and also includes the legendary chocolate cake from Cake and Counter!
Hereâs all I recommend-
â˘Veg kheema khari- too good and very innovative!! Makes for a good appetiser go for it!
â˘Corn Spinach Bun Maska- this might not be the correct name of this dish but you can ask your sever and heâd help you! This was very nice I loved the concept of pairing a cheesy dip with bun maska
â˘Butter Chicken- this was soo goood! Definitely going back for this one
Apart from this all the other dishes that I had were also good but these were my favourites in particular!
Go for this place when you want to relax over some amazing cocktails and food with your folks!

CafĂŠ Mazdana situated next to Mahesh Lunch Home, Camp. The current owners named (Agarwal's)have revamped the bungalow into a restaurant. Location is on the main road. As you enter, youâre aware of a warm ambience, greenery inside the premises, lanterns (over head) emitting soft hues, a bonfire towards the extreme end of the pathway. The nip in the air and the bon fire to your rescue while you wait to get a table is bliss
Towards the left is a newly built shed, an open air section and to the right, the main (bungalow) has holds the A/c section. A well stocked bar and the kitchen further ahead.
We had booked a table for 8ppl using zomato gold 10%off which turned out to be the right thing to do as the restaurant's outer section was crowded. Plenty of family ppl with kids. A large screen with a popular cartoon channel keeping the kids busy while the parents enjoyed a drink with their friends. The two junior Agarwalâs youngsters usually take your orders and are friendly enough to be of assistance.

#BBQ_Paneer_Nanza and #Margarita_Nanza with loads of sauce and cheese. Winning order if ordering for your kids.

#Chicken_Sukka_with_bunmaska : Both delish and went well with the soft buttered buns. Sukka canât be missed. It was a perfect blend of spice, chillie and balance.
#Dal_khichdi :moong Dal khichdi was soft, comfort food with great flavors. Loved it.
#TriflĂŠ_Pudding : compliments, on the house. This was an apt fusion of cake, custard, fruits and whipped cream...slutty and orgasmic.
There is a major service problem. The initial service was good, then we had to give repeated reminders. Pricing and portion size is reasonable. The ambience and location is contemporary, within reach.

Ever heard of Mazdana? Well, you may not have, but if you are Pune Old school, ie your parents/grand parents certainly would have.
Shut down in 1998 after a run of over 6 decades, Mazdana has re-opened its doors again for the city of Pune. Once, a household name and often for the wrong reasons, Mazdana was a place all of (older) Pune went to settle their bets. They owned one of the oldest liquor licence in Pune and have the same one till date. Naturally, the whole of Pune knew Mazdana and Mazdana knew the whole of Pune, including the who's who of the city.
But now, Mazdana is back with a bang. Previously just a bar, Mazdana has transformed into a more calm, chilled out venue, with a menu of our most loved dishes, a selection of fantastic cocktails and a relaxed ambiance, all while maintaining its old rustic charm and simplicity.
While the menu has an array of dishes you cannot miss, You absolutely need to try their Veg Keema khari (an innovation in itself), Prawns butter garlic and Dynamite prawns.
Wait those were just the appetizers, in entrees, it would be a crime to not try the butter chicken (ask for the authentic non sweet version) and the Maharashtrian Mutton Kala Rassa. Absolutely beautiful!
Over the drinks, ask the barman for a mead and gin based cocktail, if gin is your drink i.e.
Here are my two cents, if you are in a rush, need your orders on time, are only interested in eating, with no intention to chill relax, etc, this may not be the best place for you. On the contrary, if you have no place you rather be, are in a relaxed frame of mind, want good food and to spend quality time with friends and family or yourself, this is THE place to be.
Mazdana is a legacy in its own. Its time now for this generation to carry it forward!

These old bunglaw's converted into restaurants have their own charm. Artistically done up this reminds me of Goan beach shacks minus the sea n sand. This is a place where I would just love to be. They serve some wonderful starters. Do try their chilly Brandy chicken, kheema on khaari, chicken sukka. The butter garlic prawns is a different prep, more towards a thick cheese sauce. It's yum. Dal khichadi n Keema Pao are again wow. Mulled wine missed the hint of liquer. Service is slow but than who is in a hurry here!!!
The place is very cozy and warm. Feels like you are sitting in a Goa shack under trees. Very friendly owners and down to earth. You should try the Kala Rassa, very Desi style and mind blowing flavors which you won't find anywhere in Pune city.
I'm an avid fan of good food and thoughtful ambience.. Mazdana is a brilliant example of both!
I absolutely enjoy trying out as many eateries in town as I possibly can, whether they are new, consistent or legendary. I've been to Mazdana several times now with so many different groups of friends and it's been unanimous, THEY ALL LOVE IT!
Mazdana's gorgeous rustic lights are so inviting, the food has classic charm & universal palatability! This place is for EVERYONE!

We went to celebrate my husbandâs bâday here. And I must say we had the best of our time. The food was lip smacking good. They had a special menu for today with a flea market and bonfire. A nice warm place in Camp that reminds me of how Poona used to be : green, calm, and cozy with good wholesome food.
The dynamite prawns, Kheema on Khari, Kala Rassa, and Mac and Cheese are dishes that one must definitely try. They also make an excellent Coronarita.

Right at the heart of Camp with an entrance on the main road, a garden path lit with dozens of lamps hanging from the boughs above show the path to this newly opened restaurant. With an entrance so dreamy, you look for good things ahead, and you get them!
First off, ample parking space! Who won't love that in and around Camp! Brownie points hands down! Second, they have a cosy inner section and an outer section with garden decor, a projector screen, and lovely music as a nice setting for a leisurely evening with family n friends.
Coming to food, the first time l had visited, the place was newly opened and the owner Akahay and his team were trying out new items on a menu freshly put together. Cut to the present day, the menu looks more elaborate and each item we ordered were on point.
#DynamitePrawns with a crumble coating and a cheesy dollop ...yumm!
#KhaoSuwey was just right with a creamy coconut curry and the noodles with ample fried garlic on top
#ChilliBasilChicken and Veg fried rice - This combo turned out so good that we friends went from "You take it ...finish it off" to "If you're not taking it l will... it's so good!" within minutes ;)
#Pinacolada that l ordered was mildly flavored and done with ice cream on request. Loved it!
And not to forget, Rahul, our server for the evening was as warm and welcoming as enthusiastic in explaining the dishes and drinks for our benefit.
And now, for the best part... the damages. The total cost of 4 people dining was so reasonable that it instantly made us happier!

What's not to love. Absolutely a place to come with your family. Food is absolutely fantastic. Tasty and comfortable at the same time. Difficult to describe. Experience for yourself. The Agarwal's were hands on, hospitable and made us feel like we were at home. The ambience is comfortable. Cocktails were brilliant. Try their version of Kahlua and Bailey's. In food try everything. We've been here 2 hours and can't stop eating. Must try - Dynamite Prawns, Nan-za

This place is a gem in the heart of camp. Camp needed a gorgeous setting like this and the food being super fine is just an icing on the cake. It gives you the old Poona vibe, chilling in a serene lush green place. The staff is courteous and gives you your own time to ask for the menu and even order, they donât hurry you through anything. Coming to the food, everything we ordered was just delicious, the zing of the Grilled chicken with Veggies, the rich rich sauce of Fish in Dil, the beautiful texture and flavour of the Chicken Khow suey, but the star item of our lovely lunch was Chicken Kheema On Khari, not only is this a very innovative combo but also the Kheema being bang on earned full points from us. Last but not the least, for Dessert we had Bun Maska with PBJam and Nutella, who wouldâve thought restaurants read our minds and set menus. The Bun Maska with PBJ brought our lunch to such a content and happy end, that we are still smiling. Unfortunately we didnât click many pictures cos the food coma came into play.

Honestly I discovered this place when we had gone to a nearby restaurant and there was 45 minutes waiting time. Didnât want to wait so much so tried Mazdana. Since then I have already been here twice. Why you may ask ? Because it deserves it.
Lots of pros..
The place is easy to spot on a busy road but is still secluded. Itâs not too crowded if you go early and we have never had to wait. There is ample parking available with valet parking facility. You have a choice to sit inside with family and with A.C. or outside where thereâs karaoke session going on at least on a Saturday night as far as I know.
Ambiance is pleasant. The place is clean and well maintained.
Coming to food they have lots of choices. So far we have tried butter garlic prawns, Cajun fried chicken fingers and broccoli 65. All were delicious. We also tried smoked butter chicken with butter naan, garlic naan, red Thai chicken curry and it was good too although Naan may need improvement. From deserts we have had caramel custard, a bit too sweet for my liking but great again. Food prices are competitive. Their bar menu is also reasonably priced and drinks are well done.
The whole staff right from valet to servers are extremely polite and helpful which takes it to 5 star rating.
For a great quiet enjoyable evening, this is a place to go. Try it.
Mazdana is a cool breather, located right inside the throat cutting competition with Mahesh Lunch Home, Persian Darbar and others in camp , the restaurant offers a great ambience and a very wide variety of food options.
The place has a large sitting option indoor is a house converted to sit so pretty much for couple or nuclear groups and outdoors with shared screens for larger group.
Food is pretty reasonable and have several options. We tried a bunch of chicken starters including the Thecha chicken, toofani tikka and Persian kebab and they all came in gazed with lovely looks and flavours
There is ample and valet parking so you can get a good space even in rush hours
Staff is very courteous
The place however is loaded with drinking folks , the outdoor area had âuncoolâ folks who are rude to staff and drunk . Indoors is usually the family place.
House converted to a restaurant along with the garden area.
If your speed more than a certain limit, there are chance that you might pass this place in no time.
Place has very limited 2 & 4 wheeler parking.
Prices are very slightly on higher side but can be managed if youâre in group.
Food quality is good and you get a feeling of re-visit.

This is a newly opened place in Camp. They've renovated the old one but kept the rustic look intact. The family that runs it is the sweetest family I've known and are very welcoming and filled with hospitality. The staff there is amazing. They've inculcated the sweetness of the family and they will also make you feel awesome. The ambiance is very cozy, and quirky and cool. Yes all in one because they have different seating areas. Indoors as well as outdoors. Very well thought and nicely decorated with super cool lamp shades and lights. The food here is to die for. They've experimented a bit in terms of new starters and have won my heart.. recommended dishes here are - kheema on khari, dynamite prawns, mazdaana fried chicken, butter garlic prawns, and almost everything on the menu. The cocktails here are also yummmm... My favourite is the Coronarita and the one with the Irish liqueur. This is my second home.. do visit with your family, friends, date.. This restaurant is on a very old premises. Ample Parking space, valet service, warm welcome by owner and family members. The Captains are young and energetic. Visited this place on a Sunday and it was crowded but they managed to give us a table. The owner is very polite and gave us information about the menu and how he set up this place. The Cocktails/ Mocktails were really awesome. The starters were amazing and the seafood was prepared with fresh products. The ambience was good as we sat in the open/ outside space. The washrooms were inside and the seating arrangements inside was also good with AC.
Their kitchen team seems to be very good as they dished out some finger licking preparation.
We will visit this place again and have already recommened this place to our family and friends.
