If you are a Non-Vegetarian you'll love the items delivered here. Mutton Thali, Mutton Kheema are the best of which I have tried here. Even  Chicken Fry , Rassa along with Bhakris is a best combination.
Price is Apt for the good quality of the food delivered. Keep u your good service guys.
Best mutton thali ever đ
If you are craving for chicken and mutton... This is the apt place to go. Small place, tight space but very good food meat preparations. Too good
We tried mutton special thali. It was delicious!! A bit spicy though. It was the best mutton thali i had till date in Pune in last few years. Chapati was served hot. This is a great place for spicy non veg lovers. đ
Will definitely visit again.
I visited this place last weekend with my friends really liked the ambience and food is really good. Awesome taste. Good place to hangout with friends and family.

Mutton fry & Gravy are mind blowing.
Tambdaa & Pandra rassa tastes really great.
Delicious Mutton Kheema & Gravy.

Good quality food with excellent service. Their mutton biryani is to die for with such perfect mixture of flavour with a bit of spice. Everyone should
Definitely check this hotel out
If one wanted to debate the concept that the best food in India is served in the unpretentious, practically hole in the wall kind of street side joints found in every Indian city, Gopi non veg is a hell of a argument to make.
This is a very old Pune place that apparently started off as a roadside stall serving mutton thali and even now is a small 5 table place in the heart of Pune. Clientele necessarily need to be hard core carnivores with a very high tolerance of spiciness - which tends to approach stratospheric levels.
Now that the disclaimers are in place, and you are still interested, please do go to this place to have the most lip smacking Maharashtrian dishes especially the mutton ones.
The thing to have is the special Mutton thali and order some dishes on the side. The mutton fry, the mutton kheema and the rassa are all out of the world. Wash it down with the pandhra rassa (white gravy) and lots of sol kadi.
Flip side mutton biryani and a chicken dish we ordered were strictly so so. But the other dishes were easily best in class category. If you love maharashtrian non veg this is an unmissable place...
Good quality nonveg food. Service is good........mutton biryani and mutton kheema is too good.... awesome..... will visit again. Try their thalis also
The place located at Perugate Police Station junction, in Sadashiv Peth.
Very old Maharashtrian restaurant in the vicinity for variety of Chicken and Mutton Thalis.
Been here several times, tried Mutton and chicken thali.
Thali gets served has mutton/chicken rassa, tambada-pandhra rassa, rice, etc. a complete meal and spicy one.
Preferably complete thali should be tried.
Service is OK.
Parking not available, need to park vehicle nearby.
Well I'd say wen you finally drink 3 glasses of water, overcome the heat and think objectively you'll come to the realisation that Gopi manages to dish out some pretty good non veg offerings. The ambience itself is non existent so service doesn't come into the picture and a takeaway is the practical option. We had the Varadi Mutton Fry, Kolhapur Chicken and Chicken Fry along with Bakhri's and Chapati's. I think the Varadi Mutton Fry in its black Masala is unique in colour and taste, while the Chicken Fry isn't too bad either. D only complaint was the Kolhapur Chicken hadn't been cooked long enough cause the taste of Mirchi Powder was still prevalent but adding a bit of lemon cut the feeling. Not sure I'd be heading back but worth once a visit....
One of the good non veg and oldest hotel in Sadashiv peth. I ate many times chicken thali, prawns masala and thali. Too tasty and fresh food. Must try at this place.. Many celebrities also came here.Nana Patekar visited here. You will face parking issue bcas it's situated in peth area.,come with bike. You can also come with families. It's good restaurants.
Excellent food. Just what I had anticipated. Will revisit.
Great service. The only issue is a bit hiddwn as I am new to Pune but now can say landmark is near Peru Gate Police Station.
Wonderful food.
The Oldest and Best Restaurant known to me in the Last 25 Years... in the Town... Like the Name the Word Non-Veg is Associated with Gopi... Mutton Kheema Bhakri... and Varhadi Mutton and Chicken are Yummilicious... beyond description... Hospitality is awesome one of the best place to be with Family... in the Heart of City...
So far this is perfect destination for tummy full of Maharashtraian flavored Non Veg. Gopi serves my buds for spicy and fresh chicken and mutton. The most favorite part here is non veg thalis, tender fresh, amazingly cooked chicken/mutton with tambda, pandhara russa, kheema, hot chapapti and rice is is a complete value for money combo. The only drawback is limited seating but the food served here is heavenly!
heaven for mutton lover like me.... i am a big fan of varhadi food also so the spicier it is more i like it...mutton curry and mutton kheema is my favourites...mostly get the food parceled but ambience is fine too
Thali system hotel along with the options of few veg and non veg dishes in the menu. Precisely a non veg special hotel with good taste and VFM. Previously it was a hotel with big sitting area but few years back they changed it. Conjusted or small sitting area is the only negative point of this hotel. Overall good nonV food.
Naad fakta mutton cha.
Being from the land where tambda and pandhra rassa originated, good mutton and great mutton are 2 different things. What Gopi serves, is GREAT!!!!!
Easy on pocket, excellent in quantity and the right level of spice which a mutton meal needs. They have variety of options in chicken and mutton; but what appealed to me the most was the varhadi mutton and the pandhra rassa.
The place is tiny though and you might want to pack the food and take it home if you are a big group.
Only improvement would probably be a little less oil in tambda rassa.
Excellent place.
So finally my chicken thali hunting days come to an end! I've been travelling to the older parts of the city and after Aware Maratha Khanawal and New Milan, Gopi Non-Veg was my last stop and I must say, it was bit of an anti-climax.
Going with a friend for company, we tried the chicken fry thali and the chicken Masala thali. As usual, both had a chicken plate, pandhra rassa, lal rassa, an egg dish, chapati, and rice. The chicken fry and masala both, no doubt, were delicious! The lal rassa was tasty, and the egg was good as well. However, the pandhra rassa was a huge disappointment. The rice too, was only coloured, no taste nor any chicken in it. So for the price we paid 180-200/- for a thali, I found the chicken was far too less, and the taste didn't match up to expectations. We also tried the solkadi which was ok. I have heard that the chicken biryani is good here, so maybe I'll give it a shot once.
The ambience was normal while the service was good. So summing up my experience of the small non-veg eateries in the old city, I'd rate New Milan the best for the quality of food served, but if you want to have a quality dine-in experience and with some good food, I'd definitely go for Aware! Gopi is good no doubt, so you can try it once but make sure you order right and keep reasonable expectations.

All The best Gopi Team.............
If a chicken or mutton freak go for there biryani and in egg they have this special egg curry or egg masala served with rotiz . Quantity also much more according to the rates a must visit for biryani lovers !
Had lunch there with Mutton Biriyani. Taste was good, quantity should have been more considering the price. The place is rather cramped, so seating can be an issue if crowded.
I ordered chicken sukha and it came with 2 waati chicken soup.. So invade you find that it's too dry then you have some gravy.. Excellent thought by the management !
I called as this was a take away and I specifically mentioned I don't want it to be spicy.. And it wasn't spicy.. I asked when should I come to collect it ? The lady said when you come it would be ready.. I went to collect it and it was packed and ready.. This is what you call Commit and Deliver !!!... Loved the chicken !
I was at Gopi just two hours back. So this review is as fresh as it can get! Gopi Non -Veg is a small (very) joint in the narrow lanes of Sadashiv Peh near Bharat Natya Mandir. I think this hotel has been there for long long time. I remember it used to display a proud photo of the owner with Nana Patekar on one of the walls. Could not find it today though. Its known for its simple menu and home like taste for Maharashtrian Non Veg.
Today's experience was great! We were advised to order thalis and it turned out to be a good advice. The have a gravy chicken, dry-ish chicken, egg curry, white  and red rassa (gravy) along with chapatis and biryani rice in the special thali. Any other thali is give or take the same. The quantity was filling and taste was just right.
I cherish spicy food as long it can be called food. At times it becomes too spicy and looses it fun. That is why I have a apprehensions about rassa that is served in Kolhapuri hotels. But this place got it perfectly right. White rassa was phenomenal and I even tasted and liked the red one. That needs a special mention. For those who are't so sure of the importance of rassa in Maharashtra might as well google it. Its a big deal (really)!  The chicken was cooked nice and juicy. Overall a thumbs up experience. Â
The service was quick. No complaints. A problem with the hotel is very cramped. Its just 4-5 tables. Its something they need to work on. Another problem is that they don't have cold drinking water. Only God knows why! Pricing is perfect and Zomato calculation is very precise. Also if you are not familiar with the Peth areas, you might find it difficult to locate this place. Accessibility is a slight problem. Â Â
All-in-all is its good pocket friendly experience. Give it a try if your are near by!
This place makes me come back again and again and again! I mean just wow food, a delight for non vegetarians, with authentic maharashtrian food items like kheema, mutton sukka, and highly aromatic mutton dum biryani!!
Keep up the good work!! Happy fooding!
Awesome taste..... Have been here whenever I crave for good nonveg food. There are more than 12 hotels in that lane but gopi rocks.... Now they hw started SAOJI and it tastes wonderful......authentic. Plz visit this place for overall good food thik-thak service and very very nice owners.....finally GOPI ROCKS
This place serves maharashtrian style meat n chicken. Must try kolhapuri mutton. It's spicy n hot. Mutton cooked in gravy (no boiled mutton).
Went here recently again. They have changed the place and sold off the first floor. Now it's a smaller place with only 5 tables and it's redecorated.
However, they have revamped the menu to focus on core strengths - chicken, mutton and egg dishes. All the items look delicious and taste is excellent. We had chicken and egg items among our group and everyone was left finger licking.
Very authentic and the place, though smaller, stands tall in merits!! All Maharashtrian Mutton, Chicken and Egg dishes. A bit on spicy side, but delicious. Its the kind of spicy which can make you addictive. I had a Biryani and it was excellent!! Only thing more I could wish for is they should have had a Sol Kadhi. I was told that they have it, but it gets over, so there is no guarantee that you will get it at any given time. I didn't see it on menu.
And this whole menu is quite light on wallet. They should really open more branches to reach other parts of the city.

This place serves amazing and quite authentic home style non-veg at very reasonable price.
Mutton and Chicken dishes are very nice and Biryani is very good. It comes very close to home style Maharashtrian cooking.
Ambiance is not much to write about, but spacious enough after you climb the stairs. Service is decent. You won't notice this place much if you walk by it. Don't go there is you care too much about the ambience, service and not much about authentic and nice food.
However, the food is very nice.
They have two varieties for almost everything: Regular and Kolhapuri.
Try the regular one if you don't want your tears out of your eyes, steam out of ears and fire in your belly while eating (and probably at the other end of digestive track after eating :-)))
But the regular stuff is very nice. Soft and homely Chapatis and decent Non-veg portions, including Biryanis. They also serve Bhakaris. That doesn't burn the stomach as well as the wallet so much.
I know this place since decades now, used to be regular during my study years.
Gaurav Chicken Thali is served really nice. Gem of a place in Sadashiv Peth
Small place but very good food.. meat preparations are too good
The hotel is really small, tight space. I tried mutton special thali. It was delicious!! A bit spicy though. It was the best mutton thali i had till date in Pune in last few years. Chapati was served hot. This is a great place for spicy non veg lovers. Will definitely visit again.
This is my all time favourite place.. If you are craving for chicken and mutton .... This is the apt place to go!!! Mouth watering dishes, friendly staff and perfect ambience, easier on the pocket .. What more can you ask for!!! The gopi special mutton thali, Gavtan chicken fry, varhadi chicken are absolutely divine ... More reason to hop there for lunch or dinner!!!
This one of our favorite restaurants. The chicken and meat both are very tasty they can make. About quality and quantity, no doubt. Its very good.
Small hotel yet Excellent food... Very tasty.... Quality quantity is best...
Delicious food but conjested sitting.
