So couple of weekends back I had a blast with friends at TJ's in Amanora but our Hungary soul wanted to eat more and we were looking for food at 11 pm. Most of the restaurants got or getting closed. We were peeking at their door and they welcomed us with a smile. Ah!
So we settled down for Chinese and fish thali. And I really loved the Chinese thali. It was quite good. Had soup, noodles, Manchurian and spring rolls. fish thali was pretty good too, which was with chapati, rice, Dal, surmai and sol Kadi. All in all good food at such a time. :-)
Food is quite delicious. I ordered dal pakwaan and lemon rice with sambar. Ambience can be improved.
Staff was friendly and service was good.
Hi,
This is mine and my mother's favorite places in Magarpatta area. If you want to try something different or love Sindhi food, you're in for a big treat here. I recommended the place to several friends and they all came back feeling satisfied and happy with the food. Ambience is alright, food is different and good, cleanliness is there. The most favorite dishes are Dal Pakwan and Sindhi Kadhi. TIP: Ensure to ask the stuff their recommendations.
I just shifted to pune and was finding some cool place to hangout and eat something which could be like a home food and Indian too, so i visited this amazing place Climax of flavours which is famous sindhi restrau. In Amanora city, pune.
I tried many dishes there but my favourite one was "Dal Pakwaan". I just love the taste of the dish. The feel was like i am at home and mum is cooking that dish for me.
Dal was so tasty that i ordered 2 plates of Dal Pakwaan. If you are feeling home sickness, a must visit place this is❤❤.
Me and my wife have had the pleasure of enjoying authentic SINDHI cuisine at the CLIMAX OF FLAVORS, which is located in the very renowned AMANORA MALL at HADAPSAR, PUNE !!! Needless to say, we did really enjoy the food.

》PRICE - Definitely affordable.
My rating of a 3.5, out of a total of 5, for the food which we had thoroughly enjoyed having !!!
Do I recommend CLIMAX OF FLAVORS to other foodies out there?
Oh Yes !!! I definitely do. Do you wanna try some authentic SINDHI cuisine? If your answer is a loud and cheerful YES, I must tell you that visiting CLIMAX OF FLAVORS is the only answer !!!
One of my regular haunts in Amanora for lunch/dinner. The USP of this place is the uniqueness of their menu. They have very different items for those bored by the regular south, north routine. The portions are ample for the price. Service is quick and efficient. I also took my entire team (50) for lunch to this place and everyone loved the food.
My recommendations: Yam Rocks, Alu Tuk, Dal Pakwaan !
Nice tidy seating arrangement and well illuminated. Had an urge for trying Sindhi famous dish Daal Pakwaan. Ordered for Daal Pakwaan and comes a full size pakwaan and a portion of chana daal. Must say at 70 inside a popular mall is total VFM. The pakwaan was delectable made out of maida with encrusted zeera with ligthly cooked chana daal devoid of any oil and fried chilly. The combination was yummy. Ordered Sindhi kadhi and tatsed almost South Indian Sambhar plus besan I guess. But yes totally in tune with my palate. Would like to try other items since the food is totally homely and dont look fancy at all.
Nice food. Though the service was slow, I was lucky that there weren't too many tables occupied. So I wasn't delayed much.
The presentation is nice. Both, Sada and Masala dosa were amazing. So was the Alu Tuk. The Sindhi Kadi combo was also great. The kadhi still makes my mouth water as I write this post. The Palak sabzi in the combo was also very tasty.
And to top it all, the prices are very economical. Highly recommended. I will definitely go again.

Went there to have dinner yesterday. Probably the most reasonably priced restaurant at Amanora Mall. I ordered Sayi Bhaji platter. It felt like having home food. The spicy potatoes with curd, pickles and rotis in itself would have qualified as a hearty meal. Service was alright. Some things about this restaurant are a bit odd - like giving water in plastic cups when the food is served on a clean white plate. The interiors are spacious. Will return again to have a reasonably priced meal.

Oh my my.. Where have I come... A heaven for vegetarian, sindhi food lover and truly climax of flavours... If you want to enjoy a comfy food at a very reasonable rate this is the place..... And they never disappoint us. We love all their dishes.... My favourite are Yam rocks, masala dosa and sindhi thali... All in all a great place... Quiet ambience and flavours bang on, and service with a smile n quantity 5/5.
This place is my favourite go to always... Anshuman Pandey
Food nourishes, not just the body but also the soul. It's because of the taste that eating is considered a pleasurable experience - one that we like to repeat several times a day and throughout the life! Climax of flavours will 'PINCH YOUR TASTE BUDS' to nourish both your body and soul. The beauty of this place lies in its simplicity both in terms of food and ambience. It serves authentic Sindhi food . The menu is carefully designed and the prices are affordable. I loved the Yam rocks and Sindhi aloo poori. If you order dosa beware that you will be served 2 dosa. All in all a perfect place to be if you are looking for something light and healthy on tummy.
This was the first place where I had Sindhi food and visited it many times later so have to admit that they did not disappoint me on any occasion. I have tried all varieties of their Thali's so would definitely recommend them to anyone willing to eat Sindhi food.
I have been visiting the restaurant since my first visit to Amanora mall. I like the menu. I like the outlet. The people are very good. Food is also good. Saving paper through tablet menu. Like it. Very quite place. Near Amoeba and Inox which makes it convenient.
I been to this place at Amanora out of curiosity, food was OK not that exciting. May be my expectations was very high based on other reviews here.
Simple and delicious food. This is the first time I tried Sindhi food and the experience is simply great. If you are a vegetarian and you love to try different flavours and taste then it's a must visit place.
As My friend suggested COF, the food was amazing. I tried Dal Pakwaan and Sindhi Thali. And loved it. Full of taste and hygiene. Gona visit again soon.
As the name suggests it was indeed climax of flavours and that too a long one. This place is located on second floor of amanora town centre near magarpatta city. The staff was very friendly and as suggested by them we ordered sindhi thali and oh boy it was amazing. Aloo tuk, aloo subzi, sindhi curry, sindhi rice, roti, papad etc and all this for Rs. 200/- a must visit place.
Hope they open a outlet soon in mumbai!!!!
First time that I tried sindhi food, simple and neat place with a good service. Tried the thali, paneer wrap, yam rocks and kadi. Taste was good. Though i felt they use potatoes too much as we ordered 3 different thalis and all of them had one potato dish of different gravy.
The paneer samosa was very good.
Here is the first time I have met Sindhi food. Contradictory to cramped up and jazzed restaurants in any mall, this place is simple and reflects the Sindhi culture. Followed the crowd and ordered what is famous, instead of trying something new! In starters, Yam rocks and Alu tuk are good to go with. We even tried a tomato toaster! If you are looking for a tummy full main course, I would suggest to go with the platter. Sindh kadi platter comes with starter, 2 main course dishes, rice and roti. I really loved the food as it was so gentle in taste, flavour and looks with no harsh spices. In desserts, malpua with rabdi topping had made my mouth a literal heaven! Amazing! I turned into a Sindhi food fan now! Thank you CoF!
Good, tasty food. They mix just the right flavors to get you craving.
The service was pretty quick. That makes me doubtful if they gave us a fresh preparation.
Paneer Makkhani - Rich and creamy. The gravy was a thin paste of minced onion, tomato and garlic. Try it out!
Chehri Chapati - A little different, made of Spinach.

This is located on the 2nd floor of Amanora Town center. Ambience is wonderful. Food is just like a home made food. Service is too quick. Everything is so perfect there. I went recently for dinner, I had mushroom masala and chehri chapatti. One of the best dinner so far. I will be visiting soon again. They have lot of options on menu. I have to try other eatables too.
Must visit, if you're looking for something like a home made and light food. They serve the best quality and fresh food.
Keep it up . !!
I visited the place on review of my friend and it was such a nice experience they served a very nice dal pakvan and malpua. A very nice place for hunger and cheap place in amanora.
I have loved the food here (Though have had food so far from their other outlet in Kharadi). We wanted to have deserts after a heavy dinner so we ordered Malpua n Faluda Kulfi. Malpua was awesome as expected nd so was Faluda Kulfi. The only thing that bothered us was we found a lil coriander in the Faluda Kulfi plate and when we highlighted this to the person in charge, the reaction was just casual. None the less I love Sindhi food here so this can be ignored at times.
The place is worth a try, at least for vegetarians. The menu here is different and fun. The aloo poori is really good. This is supposed to be a Sindhi food place, but, strangely, this place serves one of the best dosas in pune. The dosa tasted authentic, even better than some South Indian restaurants in the city. Definitely a thumbs up! Wish they had the same menu in kharadi.
Went specially there for having Koki only. Found this place on zomato. As I planned to go there I was not expecting the taste I used to have when my Mom cooks. Me and my friend who is not sindhi reached there around 8.30 in the evening as I it was the time to have a proper dinner we ordered One Original Koki and One Koki twist. Tea is complementary with Koki Org. The Original Koki tastes the same like my Mom used to prepare.
Then we ordered dal pakwaan(sindhi's speciality), the pakwaan was very crispy and dal was also good, we ordered alu tuk also very spicy, crsipy, good taste.
And in the end we ordered Malpua, this sweet we found in every Sindhi wedding reception. The Malpua you will have at this place you are not going to find it anywhere. I came in Pune around six months back was looking for the place where I can have koki n chai. I have decided that every weekend I'll visit this place whether it is 25kms from where I live!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
More often than not, restaurants tried basis 4+ rating on Zomato (with at least 100 ratings) turns out to be good. I am glad this one also was really a great discovery. Simple place on second floor, East block, Amanora Town Centre, opp Magarpatta City - the ambience is pretty ordinary.
The service is quick, food was well presented, staff was courteous.
The food really stood out - we ordered for a Sindhi thali basis their recommendation. It was totally homely food - Sai bhaji, Alu tuk, Aloo bhaji, Sindhi curry, chapatis, rice, Sindhi pulao, raita,.....and all this for only Rs 200/-...Simple, tasty, no extra spices, least oily - oh, I really loved it.
The quantities were really good and we ended up over-eating.
Highly recommended.
Team lunch @ Climax of Flavors, Amanora
Read an article in Pune Times about this place was looking forward to visit it.
Serves Sindhi cuisines - Our first try. We visit during weekday and got our seat pretty soon. Ask for recommendation and they offered to taste all the sabzi offered in their platter along with ala-cart menu. Finally, we ordered Sindhi Kadhi and Sayi Bhajji platter along with Black Dal. The staff was really courteous and helpful. Highly recommended place.
Ambience - 3/5
Taste - 4/5
Staff - 4/5
I got a call for #zomatomeetup . I reached bit late. Ambience was decent. Tables are properly arranged. They served us best Sindhi cuisines to us. As you Sindhi cuisines are bit oily. It was like that. Properly served food. Well I will suggest every Sindhi to pay a visit to this place.
Try that baigan fry that was amazing as well as malpua.
Thanks to Vaishnavi Meghe and Zomato, had a chance to taste some really nice Sindhi cuisine. The restaurant is situated at second floor, east wing, Amanora mall. As it was a lazy Wednesday evening, we were the only guests in the restaurant.
They only serve vegetarian Sindhi dishes.
There is not much to write about the interiors as the restaurant is a small simple setting with rows of lamps on the ceiling and a water fall. I guess the focus is more on the food.
Our menu was pre decided but we had an option of ordering from quick bites.
We started off with a drink called Thadal, consists of milk with whole dhaniya powder and some other spices. The after taste was bitter and I did not enjoy the drink.
In starters they served us really crispy but too oily Yam rocks. They were basically spiced fried arabi. The taste was really good. And then came the beautiful grilled brinjal. I am not at all a fan of brinjal but and yes a big but, I decided to try as it was looking really temping. Again there was little more oil but I liked it.
Dahi wada was okay, but the daal needs more softening. I liked the fact that they kept the dahi wada simple with no extra chutney or spices.
Then came the main course. My first experience of Sindhi kadhi was really nice and I would love to try it again. Sai bhaji was again a delight. But paneer makhani was not up to the mark and in this case, did not fit into Sindhi cuisine. The tomato purée was cooked less and there went the whole idea of having it in the menu.
We also ordered daal pakwaan which came with a papad and was a hit. And yes the Sindhi food can not be complete without a papad. I also loved dhoda, another Sindhi speciality with tomato chutney. And yeah we ordered that grilled brinjal again and again.
For desserts, atta ka haluwa was too dry but it is meant to be as whole wheat flour soaks all the oil. The taste was not bad though. The maalpua with rabri was a good end to a well plated dinner. It was not too sweet and you can experience the crunch in maalpua.
Little skeptic about the Sindhi cuisine at the start but end of the dinner I have started loving it.
A big thanks to the staff of the restaurant to serve us a superb meal....
Was here for a #ZomatoMeetUp. Had no clue such a place existed, but well, now I do. So let's get started.
Ambiance:
Located on 2nd floor in East Block, Amanora, its a long walk from where you're supposed to park. The place is decent in size, regular furniture, the interiors with those red and white lamps looks good. Overall a decent place to look at. Nothing that will catch your attention.
Food:
This place specializes in Sindhi cuisine. As it was a meetup, we had a pre-decided menu, though the restaurant manager did specify we could order anything from their regular full menu too which was nice of him. Thadal, a cold welcome drink, which was milk with a mix of spices tasted sweet initially and then sour. Refreshing yes, I personally liked it. Yam Rocks was the starter that came. Arbi is from what it is made they told us. Was a bit oily, and nothing extraordinary. Dahi wada was next and was really nice. Dahi was thick, the wada soft. Main course was next. Sai bhaji, which is palak base with other mix veggies chopped was good. Baingan Tuk was fried baingan cut into a big slice and cut partially to look like squares inside was what everybody loved the most. It was dry and could actually become a good bar snack to be honest. Paneer makhni was too sweet, hard Paneer pieces. A total miss that was. We separately ordered Dal Pakvan. Thick dal, which had only haldi as the spice with salt was lovely, the crisp fried roti is meant to be had with it. Sindhi kadhi was a big hit too. In dessert, the aate ka sheera was too dry, though aata they basically used to convert it to be a bit healthy, though the dryness made it difficult to eat. Malpua with rabdi was decent. Have had better at other places.
Zomato with these meetups helps you meet new people, it doesn't get better.
As for the food at the restaurant, there wasn't anything stand out which I took home. A lot of scope for improvement.
Bon Appetit !!!
So apparently this restaurant is just refurnished and has opened just yesterday. Bring Sindhi's we thought since this place serves Sindhi cuisine wel have a family dinner of around 15 people here. For which we booked tables well in advance for a 1 pm lunch.
On entering we were forced to wait for a while since our family members were running late due to an emergency so our lunch began at around 130/145 till when not even a glass of water was served to us.
Now the orders were served in a haphazard manner. We got starters first followed by the welcome drinks 15 mins after we got the starters , followed by dal rice followed then by vegetables n chapatis.
Since I had to leave early I was told that later inspite of insisting that the food be served fast or whatever was available be served since we had a senior citizen with us who was unwell we dint get it. We all left half hungry
Sorry to say but the service is nothing short of PATHETIC. the only reason I'm giving it a two star is because of the food. The food is worth dying for the mushroom samosa n shahi paneer n curry n falooda kulfi was all good. Unfortunately the shahi paneer hardly had any paneer in it.
My genuine request is to totally change the quality of service.
Zomato should let us rate service n food quality separately.
For food quality taste n Sindhi taste id say at least 4.5 starts
For service MINUS FIVE STARS
Firstly my humble apologies for having written a late re-review. So post my above review d restaurant as u can see gave us a full refund which we did not accept. However they did deliver us an order on the house.
We were stumped by their response and behaviour as this was un expected n it showed St they really do value their customer.
Now coming back to the order. The packing was amazing we called for 1) dal pakwan2) dahi wada 3) curry chawal 4) kulfi faloda 5)paneer tikka and mushroom samosa.
I must start with the kulfi since I was a worried how it'd taste after d trip. I must say it was great. Dal pakwan reminded me of how we'd have it at home. Typical ghar ka khaane ke swad. The curry was awesome really good just like my neighbour makes it. However the quantity was just good for one.
Dahi wada was soft n good.
Overall my home delivery experience was great. Once I read positively about the service improving I'll be a regular there. People needn't worry if they wanna order at home from this place I assure u THEY WONT DISAPPOINT
From a Sindhi for a Sindhi restaurant! :D
Well, there are times where u miss home and authentic mom's handmade Sindhi food and this place spelled "Authentic Sindhi Food" all over so decided to taste some! Ended up eating a lot! :P
We started with Koki, both of them the original and the Koki Twist! I must say the Koki twist was spot on! Tasty as always and immediately takes me back to the time I used to have them often for breakfast. Thank you for that guys! :)
I've always known the original Koki to have some black pepper but this one did not seem to resonate with my taste buds. Maybe there are variations.
The seyal bhaji platter was disappointing in a way as the "seyal bhaji" was bland and not having the perfect spices I feel. The pancharatni dal was amazing though, licked my fingers endlessly after finishing that one.
The malpuas are generally soaked in chashni (thick sugar water) but these guys had a rabdi variant to that which was IMHO an amazing combination! All's well that ends well ! :)
I think Climax of Flavors has done an amazing job at coming close to authentic Sindhi food but still needs a lot of improvement. But keep it up and keep it coming guys! I'll b back for more koki! :)
COF started Home delivery to my area and I ordered their Sindhi Curry Platter and since I ordered first time they gave 30% disc on order which I really appreciated.
Order delivered very fast and food was hot, nice, simple and very homely. Loved the Bhaji and Aloo tuk most, but all other item on platter was also worth the money I paid.
Worth ordering and value for money meal.
We had ordered a takeaway from the newly launched "Quickie" outlet (delivery outlet) at kharadi. The food was very good, tasty, homely, also they kept up to the promised timings. Appreciate it:) Kudos to the packaging!!!
A nice place to hang out in magarpatta the ambience is awesome...... Dal Pakwan is awesome curry in Sindhi curry was a bit disappointing. Koki Twist was mesmerising.... A single stop for ghar ka khaana lovers and well soots your budget too... A must try..
Great food with homely flavors. Spices were kept at optimum level. Very pocket friendly. Had 3 dishes, 2 drinks at 700 bucks.
Tri Samosa is must try...
It's really hard to find a restaurant which offers Sindhi cuisine. This one is quite good in terms of that. Dal pakwaan & malpua are awesome.
Good food but not authentically Sindhi cuisine. The recent addition of the yam starter is quite good. Nice place for a quick bite when on movie outing. Not fine dining but casual spread. Can give it a try.
Friendly staff. Nice, different food. They have certain flagship dishes which are really awsome. Prices are also reasonable. Good place to hangout.
For a Great food experience and less bucks....you are at the right place , I would say value for money . Especially the B-Malpua ....its one of my favourite .
Good food with subtle atmosphere.!.. A good place to come when u r bored with regular burgers and pizzas.Service provided is also appreciated.
Its the first restaurant I have liked in Pune and the only one for which I am writing a review. Not able to decide which restaurant to visit in amanora for a filling, healthy yet tasty food,I came across this one. The food here is worth a try. the way they have made simple dishes into must-try one is something which I liked the most. My friend and I had KoKi twist and Dhadoi. The taste was so new and the preparation was so good that we cud not stop at just that. We also tried their aloo tikki kebabs. A must try sweet dish is shahi tukda which is served chilled and dipped in custard and garnished with dry fruits.
Ambience is also nice. Its a small place but even then its nice to sit and chat without much of noise and enjoy the great food. A must visit place which you are too tired to decide which restaurant to visit and have a new taste altogether.
After spending a lot of time in Amanora Mall, I was bit hungry and fortunately I saw this place. Firstly, I was bit skeptical to try Sindhi food but went there to try atleast once. I saw the menu and it was worth trying! I must say Authentic Sindhi Food.
I ordered Dal Pakwan and Aloo Tuk and fresh chikoo shake. Surprisingly, each and every item I ordered was more than delicious.
Dal Pakwan: 2 Crispy Pakwan (flat breads made probably with maida) combined with thick and creamy yellow tur dal and to add on there was tangy chutney.
Aloo Tuk:: Wrapped in semolina, melt in mouth, yummy is what all I can say.
Chikoo shake: Fresh and thick. Was made in front of us.
A must try for all those who crave for not only sindhi food but tasty food.
Ambience is good with food posters all around.
Staff is very helpful and co-operative.
Ambience: 4/5
Food: 4.5/5
Service: 4.5/5
Nice place..food is good.. Less oily..less spices but enough to give the taste to the dish..
Bhaji in sindhi kadhi plate is awesome
Worth trying..
Surely will visit again. :)
A good sindhi food joint. Presentation and service both were good with pleasant staff. It has some rare varieties of sindhi snacks and spices which are a treat to toungue. Hygiene environment and not too flashy comfortable seating arrangement very opt for family. Pocket friendly and yummy. Do try Aloo kachalu and poori bhaji. Give it a try, its worth it.
Phenomenal food. Even more unbelievable prices. Be it the sindhi kadhi, or sayi bhaaji, koki twist or seviyan kheer, or my personal favourite, the banana malpua, I have had all the dishes an umpteen number of times, and the taste is consistently superb. Just like home away from home. Supremely healthy too, since there are ZERO, thats right, zero artificial colours or preservatives. Quick service and absolutely one of the few veggie places i opt for(i'm a hardcore nonveggie).
All in all, overwhelming fooding experiences at underwhelming prices really make this place a "CLIMAX OF FLAVOURS"
Must visit place if want to to try something different. Amibience is ok. Polite staff and good food. Daal pakwaan is a must try. Apart from that kachalu, dhodha and kadi chawal were also good. In deserts you can try kutti and shahi tukda.
Very good food. It surpassed by expectations. Desserts are simply delicious. Must try. I visited the place on weekday and it was empty but still everything was fresh and hot.
This place is for all Sindhi Cuisine lovers.. For me its a place for home food away from home.. I landed on this place while exploring food options at Amanora.. It offers mouth watering dishes in a very hygienic and healthy way.. Being a Sindhi, I can say that food was to the core Sindhi and Authentic.. We tried all trademark Sindhi dishes.. Like Koki, Thadal, Sindhi Kadhi, Sayi bhaji, Aloo Ruk.. Mal pua and mind blowing combos.. They have an art of mixing food I'm delicious combos which I absolutely loved.. Only thing if I have to add to improve will be.. That please provide option Of Sabjis like Kadhi, Sayi bhaji separately with Rice or Roti..
Like Daal Pakwaan. Sindhi curry Platter was nice too. Shahi Tukda was mouth watering Awesome.
Will definitely try other itema next time.
Very good Quality Sindhi food. Better than Junk food in Mall. Do try this Restaurant if you looking for something interestingly Yummy and Healthy Food.
I was so excited when I got to know about this restaurant.I oredered koki with curd and it was too good.If someone staying away from his or her home do surely go and try this out..
Awesome food! We just walked in without knowing what sort of food was available. We started trying one after another dish and it was simply superb. Simple ambience and warm service. Dont miss Sindhi Kadhi, Dal Pakwan & Shahi Tukda.
If you love Sindhi food this is one of the best restaurant in Pune to have it. They serve delicious Sindhi dishes & the quality n quantity of food are simply awesome. If you have a sweet tooth try their Malpua it's simply amazing.
Also I must say that they serve their food really quick & hot.
The best sindhi food I have ever had. Dahi wada is the best here. However, the quality seems to be deteriorating and prices look a little high as the name of this restaurant had changed.
I can't believe it but they make quite good food! I tried their Yam rocks for starters. It is like Indian alternative for French fries and way better. For dessert, their Thandal was surprisingly refreshing which gave me relief from the mild spiciness in their main course (stuffed Shimla Mirch).
On final bill they charge a 5% more than what's shown on menu. This is good compared to a lot of resto whose final bill charge 20% more than what's shown on menu in name of countless taxes and VAT charges.
It was very late on a Saturday night - around 10.30 pm, and after roaming quite a bit in the Amanora Mall, we caught sight of this restaurant with a slightly confusing name. After fidgeting for a couple of minutes we finally decided to give this place a try. And boy, were we surprised !! Since we were coming here for the first time, the waiter suggested that we try the ROYAL PLATTER since it is a combination of 5 different platters that this place offers. The waiter also suggested that 2 ROYAL PLATTERs would be enough for the 4 of us. And they really were...
The PLATTERs consisted of 4 very soft Rotis seved with a Sayi Bhaji (Green leafy vegetable mixed with peas), a Seval Bhaji (black masoor mixed with dal), a Baingan Tuk (deep fried rings of Brinjal), some deep fried potato rings and 2 types of rice (white steamed rice and brown masala rice). The taste of all these bhajis n dals was truly fantastic n refreshingly different from the other types of cuisines. Then came the deserts- Seviyaan kheer n the Malpua. The Malpua was seved with some Rabdi n was the best we had ever tasted. A true delicacy at its best. The manager was very courteous n asked us whether we liked the taste, and also suggested other sabjis n delicacies we could try on our next visit.
If this is what Veg Sind Food tastes like, then I am definitely going back for a lot more.
A nice lil restaurant serving some great food, this hotel 'Climax of Flavours' is truly as its name suggests A Climax of Flavours....
Hats off to these guys for this 👍👍👍👍
Must visit for vegen food! Famous for authentic sindhi food. Dal pakhwan and many other sindhi cuisines are awesome!rates are reasonable.
Don't miss the fried ice cream here ;-)
A good Sindhi cuisine restaurant with good ambience and with a good sindhi taste..dal puri awesome.. Overall try once and hang out..timely delicious food for a hungry stomach and a rigid punjabi..
It is one of the places that we can visit anytime when we want something simple. This place will never let u down. I have been to vegen quite many times now as i stay in magarpatta itself. I specifically love d masala koki. The staff is also very cooperative
Dam taste food... Nice Sindhi flavors.... All green veggies boiled giving the awsm flavour yammm shai bhaji n masala pharatha called koki😋😋
I went to this place with my mama and masi. We wanted to grab some quick lunch before a movie.
This place offers one a dip into a different, new type of cuisine- the Sindhi.,... I really liked there Kadi.
The food was really tasty. I am a big fan of Kadi rice. To conclude I would say that go for this if you like sag, kadi, penta flavoured dal and Indian food. This place has its own unique sabzi and fried potatoes as well.
Being a Sindhi and staying away from home..this is a place to be...if you really miss pyaz ki koki, sai bhaji and Sindhi kadi..you are going to love this place. visited this place twice and was quite happy with the food and quality and authenticity.. If you are there do try koki, aloo tuk, Sindhi kadi, kachalu, and last not the least falooda..it was comparable to Ajmer pyala standards (only Ajmer ppl can relate to it).
Well! A Wednesday well spent I must say. This place is very pocket friendly for the quantity and quality they offer. A typical list of scrumptious Sindhi cuisine! We ordered for Dhoda and the twin dal crispers which is nothing but a fancy word for Dal Pakwaan. Both were yummmyyy and filling. A must try Vegetarian place if you visit Amanora.
Went to this restaurant last Saturday for lunch, me and my husband both like sindhi food, and my husband has tasted authentic sindhi home food as well, so we were really looking forward to it.
We ordered Yam rocks or kachalu - called arbi in hindi, pieces of which were shallow fried with masala on top - very yummy.
Next we had Masala koki, which was also very tasty :-) see the pic, it has a very homely feeling to it.
And then we had sindhi kadhi, which is very different from a regular kadhi, it has vegetables in it like drumstick, bhindi, potato etc, my husband found the taste to be authentic. For me, it was the first time i tasted sindhi kadhi, and I felt its an acquired taste, and might not be liked by everybody the first time, especially if you expect it to taste like a regular kadhi.
We had malpua with rabdi for dessert, it was good, but not really something we drooled over.
Its great food, a must try for those haven't had sindhi cuisine before, and prices are perfect too!
Awesome ghar ka Khana reminded me of my childhood where my Sindhi Aunty would make these delicacies. Loved it please do maintain it. Worth it
Attractive name guys !!😀
This place is inside amanora mall on top floor ..Many people are not aware of this place.. Worth trying !
Good Service ! But I would suggest if you are not aware of Sindhi food then please first consult their waiters or so and then order because in photos all food items look delicious but I personally did not like some of the dishes 😑
Good thing is its a pocket friendly hotel and menu. Card is classified very nicely according to your hunger as very hungry, not hungry dishes .. It makes easy for you to order 😀
Final verdict.. Go and try something different here 😊
Food here is to be loved. Even if you are not a Sindhi still can enjoy awesome deliciously here. Various options at a decent price. Surely you wanna come to this place again and again.
Found this gem on a chance visit to Amanora last Monday. It was about 5PM and we were a little hungry but not too much... We checked the menu before we entered and saw some snack options. Its a sindhi cuisine fast food restaurant. I was frankly not aware that sindhi cuisine is any different from the regular indian cuisine that we find in most places but boy was I in for a surprise. The menu had names and descriptions that I had never before seen/heard of. Nopes not even in my wildest dreams (and my dreams are pretty wild, especially when it comes to food :D)! We were spoilt for choices and after much deliberation and reminding ourselves that this is not the last time we will be here, this is what we ordered...1. Yam rocks!! - It truly rocked! I am a big fan of yams or suran as we call it here (also known as jimikand, I believe). It had 6 slices of yam, deep-fried and coated with spices. It was absolutely delish! For 99/- only it was a steal. Also comes in a 15 piece platter.2. Sindhi Kadi with rice - I have never had sindhi kadi before so I can't say if it was authentic but it sure was tasty. It has lot of veggies in it. We could spot - bhindi, gobi, potatoes, drumsticks. I thought the veggies in kadi would be weird but it was not. Very healthy option. Do try it. Rice was definitely not fresh and can be improved upon.3. Malpua with rabri - I saw the picture on the wall and just could not resist ordering this. It went way beyond my expectations. There are 3 really crisp malpuas on a round deep dish, covered with yellow yummy rabri, topped with chopped nuts. Oh! What a climax of Flavors! When we saw the platter we almost regretted ordering it since the quantity was so much, we were sure we are not going to finish it. But one bite, and I knew I can have another one without blinking. Even my companion, who loathes sweets could not stop from gorging on it. This should be called the "diet-breaker"!4. Lichi Khus sharbat - Nice, cool green drink. More khus than lichi but tastes good all the same. Do not expect any fresh juices though.Extremely competitively priced, our bill came to just over 300/-. Beat that!Good, friendly service. Ambiance is pretty regular for a fast food joint. Clean and comfortable. Can't ask for anything more. The pictures of their menu items on the wall do help in making decisions. Nice touch! Its different with a lot of healthy options. I cannot wait to land up there again and keep finding pretexts to get people to go there with me!
If you are an experimental eater & want to explore variants in Indian cuisine then Sindhi food is a must try. On a Sunday afternoon right after a movie, I was hungry & decided to try climax of flavours. Don't get confused with its name 😋 it offers a plethora of Sindhi style cooked starters, thali & desserts too.
I tried Sindhi kadhi platter from fill me up section. It had 2 chapatis, pickle, papad, rice, Sindhi kadhi, alu tuk, nijji Sai bhaji with a mint lemon sparkler. Everything was delicious. The aroma so strong that you would want to eat everything at a go. I also tried black dal platter which had 2 chapatis, pickle, jeera rice, stuffed shimla mirch, black dal, curd & papad. Must say dal was made very well, thick & medium spicy.
A special mention to alu tuk. You have to order one single plate of this (6 pieces) only for yourself. I am sure you would not want to share 😋
4.5 out of 5 for food, ambience, happy serving people & value for feel.
I have been here twice and this k review includes review for both the visits. We had ordered Baigan Tuk Platter, Sindhi Kadhi Platter and Seyal Bhaji Platter, Koki Twist and man these dishes are tasty. All the items are very delicious. I would definitely recommend everyone and also would like to visit again and again for the Healthy food they serve. The cleanliness, Plating is too good. The staff is very courteous. Must visit.
Vegen Climax a very good place. . It's quite different from the other restaurants in the city.. you get authentic sindhi food. . Original. ..
I like the seyalmani that is served here. .
Need to know if amanora is the only place to house this restaurant? ?
Recommend to go. . Very nice ..
Being a Sindhi.. This place in pune is such a relief.. I tried koki, daal puri and shahi tukda..!! It reminded me of my hometown!! It had the exact taste of home cooked food..
I was let down as the a/c was not working and they don't accept card payments!!
Authentic Sindhi food.. Value for money.. Amazing masala koki.. Quick sevice.. All these qualities make this restaurant a must visit place for every food lover.. Although all their dishes are too good but masala koki , bread roll and butter milk are must haves..
Been here twice. This is review for the latest visit on saturday. We both(me n my wife) went there and just ordered SAYI bhaji platter. Quantity was sufficient to have a light dinner. Just needed one extra poli. It had sukhi potato bhaji and Sayi bhaji which was mixture of spinach and some dal. Both of which were good to taste.
It also had the rice which was flavoured and good to taste, nicely cooked.
Bill was Rs. 230/-.
Enjoyed the dinner.
Went there with my friends. Colorful Ambiance.
Dal pakwan was delicious. Reminds one of ones childhood. Just Amazing.
Rest all were good.
Service was fine.
A must go place for everyone!
Nothing tastes better than Indian Food . If you are fed up of the the global fast foods that have been hanging around for quite some time here in our city making us feel foreign to our own classic indian food ,,, this is the place to visit . Located in the rare end on the 2nd floor of Amanora Mall. Vegan climax serves pure veg sindhi food with a modern twist , It has a friendly interior which is pleasant & very clean . We visited in the evening ' Chai Time" , The Menu includes Snacks , Meal combos , Deserts & Beverages. Snacks & deserts are a must try. We ordered Malpuha with Rabri , It was delicious not too sweet ,just right served hot with a bowl of finger licking kesar rabri . Froklas & ALu Tuk were crispy .hot & spicy with pudina chatni . Dahi wada was the best i have had in years. To top that the Chai the perfect ending to the sindhi brigade. Teh best thing about it is nothing is over the top .Not Even the Price . Everything is either 49/99/199 ( meal Combos ). Its not heavy on the stomach nor on the pocket. Everthing is FRESH , HOT , AUTHENTIC & DELICIOUS. I vow to try each & every dish of the menu everytime i visit this place. !!!
So this place lacks attractive colours. The food was superb!! Not jyaada teekha, not jyaada feeka!I hardly noticed it while I was in Amanora, but then I was insisted to try out their food (by their staff, of course). A bit hesitant, I went in to have the best tea-time food I have had. The staff is friendly, the food is good, the chai has the right amount of adrak in it.A must visit place fro evening tea when at Amanora, instead of hanging out at the coffee places.
Me and my family had spent a hectic day making maximum use of the sale offers by well known brands at Amanora Mall:).By late evening it had become difficult to control the high intensity hunger pangs and we started checking the food joints. We happened to pass Vegan Climax and it caught our attention and decided to give it a try..
Ambiance is soothing and warm.I was specially impressed by the cheerful disposition of the waiter.
Food- We tried starters like Koki and Dodha. Took 3 Sindhi plates with different menu.We were pleasantly surprised with the taste and offerings. We had never expected Sindhi cuisine to be so tasty and delicious at the same time being healthy.Food was a very fine blend of taste and health. It was a balance of spices with a very judicial use of spices and oil.We have decided to dine at this joint regularly in future too.
Very happy to realize that its a pure vegetarian restaurant and amazes with the offerings.
Situated inside Amanora Mall this Sindhi authentic restaurant is surely not to miss if you want to try Sindhi cuisine and something different out.
Ambiance - Ambiance is plain and simple in terms of sitting arrangement. You can see Kitchen and chefs preparing food items. Kitchen is open not covered with glass but you do not get any smoke out of it so no need to worry about that part.
Food - We first tried Koki and then Masala Koki which was made up of different grains with spices and herbs in it. It tasted good. They also served with Pickle and Curd sprinkled with red chilly powder. We also tried Aloo Tuk which was good but nothing great about it. Then we tried Kachalu which almost tasted same like Aloo Tuk but the spices were adding up the taste to it. We tried after that Dhoda which is again different kind of Koki made of of Jwaar Flour. It was good in taste. Finally we ate fried ice cream. I did not find it that speciail. It was okay. There are many more items to try out and I am going to visit more times there to try those things out.
Service - Well even you do not find a rush there usually but still service is little slow. Not that much but it's okay. However those who takes the order there are well aware about the dishes and what they are made up of so they were able to answer questions which we asked for. They were very courteous and polite. They also came and asked us how did you find our food which is a good sign of they are interested in feedback.
Though I would say price is little higher side of all the items in the menu but the taste and Sindhi items that you usually do not get at many places and I think it's the only place where you get it at least as of now, it is a decent deal.
Overall its a sure shot a must place to dine in and relish sindhi delicacy

Tri T-Samosa
Three different flavored samosas. One with traditional Aloo, other one with Paneer and last with mushroom with little bit of cheese. All samosas had a nice thick coating where you do not only get a taste of plain flour which is good. You also get a taste of carom spice. Paneer were nicely cut into small cubes with nice masala mixed. Mushroom was also perfectly cooked with cheese. All three samosas were Delicious.
Wadi Rice Filler
Masala rice with soya chunks. It was okay in taste nothing special about it. It also had eggplant and potato as well.
Masala Koki
As usual star dish of this restaurant as I say. This is a must try.
This time they had different plating than my previous visit here. Same is the case with menu design.
Surely grandma's recipe... Good Sindhi delicacies.... Good Ambiance... definitely place to visit when in amanora... Wish they had more or people to service...
I was at amanora and wondering where to eat and I saw this place vegen climax so I thought to give it a try. Four words- it was worth it. Amazing menu and at unbelievably low prices (it doesn't compromise with the quality). Loved it. Make sure to visit this place with your loved ones, surely enjoyed soft instrumentals which added a flavour of romance.
I was at Amanora Town Centre yesterday and my friends who live nearby talked very enthusiastically about Vegen Climax, the Sindhi speciality vegetarian restaurant at Amanora. Since more than half of my co-diners yesterday were Jain, it made perfect sense to try out this new Vegetarian restaurant.
The ambience is more or less functional, with a few comfortable tables and chairs and an open kitchen.
The menu is strictly all things Sindhi and pure vegetarian. They have some really authentic dishes which I have eaten before at the homes of some Sindhi friends, but there are several dishes which I didn’t know of before; so I think I will need a couple of more trips to try out the unique dishes. This is what I tasted this time:
Dal Pakwan: I remember eating this as a kid in Aurangabad, at a small chaat centre in the old city; and I always wondered why this isn’t available in Pune. Dal Pakwan basically has a huge Mathri like crispy poori at the base, with a mushy and simple chane ki daal and hot and sweet imli ki chutney and chopped onions for the topping. Vegen Climax has got all the elements of Dal Pakwaan spot-on and everything is delicious. Only problem is that they serve everything separately (makes sense as it helps to retain the crunch of the poori), so some people don’t know how to actually assemble it and eat the real way. They serve two huge pooris, but then the dal and chutney portions are a little insufficient in comparison.
Kachaloo: My friend insisted that I try this and told me I will forget fish fry after eating this. Well, that is not happening for sure, but Kachaloo was pretty decent. It is batter-coated and deep fried yam with a very nice masala sprinkled over. Although quite nice, I’ve had better at my friend’s place and this one pales in comparison.
Dahi Wadas: Nothing specially Sindhi about it, but the wadas were really light and fluffy and dahi was just perfect.
Masala Koki: Quite similar to the Maharashtrian Thalipeeth actually. Masala koki had multi-grain flours, spices and leafy greens mixed in to make a nice flaky roti. They served it with Dahi, Achaar and Amul butter. I think it will be much better with some white butter though.
Sindhi Kadhi-Pakode Chawal: They spell the dish differently from me, but the Kadhi Pakode were just about ok.
Service is a little slow, although we went on a weekday and there were very few customers at that time. It took them a long time to even bring water and the menu and the same for further refills. I guess this happened because they had only two servers, so maybe the management should think about that.
Prices are really reasonable for the portions they serve.
I will certainly go back to try other dishes like Saee Bhaji Platter, Dal Toast, Dhoda, Seyal Bhaji and fried ice-cream. Overall, I think it is a great concept with a lot of potential; but a lot more is desired in terms of taste.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Visited for the second time on 27-6-15, and I must say, they have really worked on sorting the minor issues they had in the past. Tried the Dal-pakwan again and the quantity of dal has been increased, taste is awesome as always.
Tried a Samosa trio, which had three samosas, having potato, paneer and mushroom-cheese stuffing in the three different ones..Loved the mushroom-cheese samosa..
Service was super quick, even on a weekend at peak lunch time..
They have changed several things around here from my last visit, the food tastes much better (it was good even before, but still better now), plating looks chic now, service is fast and prices are very easy on the pocket.
Changing rating to 4 after a good experience..Foodies in Pune should definitely give it a try to sample a very different cuisine with simple, healthy, home-style delicious food..
I stumbled on this place near my house which served Sindhi food. I've grown up eating the various items on the menu and always home made, frankly it's the first time I've come across a Sindhi restaurant. So, needless to say but my standards were set pretty high.
The menu is quite exhaustive in terms of what Sindhi cuisine has to offer. The place seems quite clean and the service is also good.
Coming to the food, We tried out Dal Pakwaan, Dhoda and Masala Koki in this particular order.
- Dal Pakwaan - 2/5 : Pakwaan was cold and even the dal wasn't all that great. It wasn't worth the price they had kept. It was a disappointing beginning.
- Dhoda - 3/5 : Dhoda is usually eaten in the winters. It was served hot and went well with the tomato chutney and butter which came along. The restaurant had made a comeback after the dal pakwaan but there was still a lot of scope left to satiate a Sindhi.
- Masala Koki - 4.5/5 : And, then came their saving grace. The Koki was absolutely delicious, served hot along with butter and curd. This would be the first thing I order on my next visit. Complete value for money.
We also ordered papads as sides (no traditional Sindhi meal is complete without papad). They weren't nice at all, thoroughly disappointed.
Overall, they could make their prices a bit more reasonable or maybe increase the quantity and serve a few dishes hot.
Amazing food. Koki and Sindhi Kadhi platter were amazing.
They should consider changing the name though, it gives the impression of being a vegan food joint (really). Your name should clearly convey what you serve- have Sindh or Sindhi in the name.
Took their Sai nhaji combo and it tasted as I was having food at home, since I was a different place visiting Pune I did not miss home food. The staff here was courteous and always available to help.
Ok so the name is wierd but then its very normal place with understated ambience.. The place is normal but serves authentic sindhi dishes. Must try is kachalu... I bet even if u r non vegeterian u would still love it. Another thing to give a shot is sindhi kadi and koki. Also try their new masala puri and bhaji or dal. My all time favourite is dal pakwaan. Quality is top notch and service is quick as its generally not crowded. All in all if u want nice veg food with variety ...dive in to VC..
Simple tasty food. Their sayi baaji was a star for me. Atta ka shera was yummy. Must try if u love veg food. Clean ambience n quick service is worth mentioning. Price was a pleasant surprise.
