Tried the Butter Jam Bun Maska absolutely tasty.
They make their own bread, jam and even ketchup.
Also ordered the Bread Omelette - plain simple and filling.
Price is cheap.
Pune’s iconic oldest restaurant.
Signature dishes are kheema pav and Chai bun maska. We go there for sipping Irani tea but ends up with having sumptuous biryani. Father tells me in 1960s , there was gramophone and used to enjoy music at that time.
This is an immensely popular place in the heart of the city and its always thronging with people with a bit of a waiting time .
But the waiting is worth the wait as the food is highly Delectable and a must eat .
With decent service those place is a must visit...
During our city exploration in Pune we were hungry at the lunch time so we came across this place and had lunch. This is typical Irani old style restaurant serving both veg and no veg food. The Nutella bun Maska, samosa and coffee are must try. All other veg food also worth tasting. Nice and tasty meal we had. This isn’t very sophisticated in appearance but worth visiting place.
Old world charm, dont come here to check how healthy the food is, if you are health conscious, neither come here if you need comfort and upscale place. But come here to soak the old world charm. Food is nothing special, infact oily and too buttery and bland for me, but I dont complain, i would happily sit in their old chairs and see the evening pass by, while the walls speak of their bygone romantic days...
Olden days charm! It takes you in the retro world with its unique blend of vintage furniture. They are famous for bun maska and irani chai. But recently have updated the menu with various items. Must try if you visit FC road.
This iconic cafe is located in one of the most prime locations of Pune. Been there for over 8 decades. The place is always crowded, such is its popularity. One gets a feel of the typical Irani Cafe. Kheema pav, Bun Maska, Bournvita, Omelettes, Chai, Sandwiches are some of the favourites here. The prices are reasonable. The quality of food served is good. Service is quick. The staff could be a little more polite. The only pain area here is the parking. Almost impossible to find a convenient parking spot. They accept UPI payment methods also. A must visit eatery joint.
The Evergreen Café of Pune, I have seen people come and go, but this café has been constant from years to years. The taste and quality have always been the same as I tried Bun Maska jam years back, and now it's still the same. The same quality, the same overload of Maska and Jam, and it melts in the amount. It’s totally amazing.
It’s the perfect hangout spot for people because of its location.
This is a good cafe one of the oldest and loved by everyone..but I have different opinions is that the maska bun is overpriced it cost you RS 45/- and Nutella chocolate maska bun cost you RS 80 ..but the main attraction is its tea which cost you RS 25 which is quite affordable for a cafe ..this 3 things are must try ambience is quite 90s cafe vibe ...from last several months they are not accepting online payment which is a big issue I was stuck there because in today's era no one carry cash .....avoid weekend due to so much rush you cannot even get a seat... enjoy your tea with FC ROADS shopping..
It is a popular Irani cafe on the Fergusson College Road, which is located in Deccan Gymkhana area of Pune. Its in existence since 1935 and was founded by Hussain Ali Yakshi, it is one of the oldest Irani places in the city and was the first garden restaurant in Pune. It's famous for its bun maska/bun omelette and Iranian tea.
It's tea is not that good. Now it makes Maska bun okay okay
We had the famous chai bun-maska here. True classic of Pune. Must have if you are available n the area or passing by at tea time.
Food tastes too good,
Very small place 😔, so much waiting period almost 30min waiting for table booking,
But taste the next level,
Service ok ok,
The environment is not up to the mark just an okay full mass Cafe, and mainly cost is effectively priced.
Must Try items - chicken keema and Bun,
If you are a sweet lover, definitely try Fruit Funny sweet .
South Indians also try this place, definitely love it.
Parking place not available.

One of the oldest & finest Cafe in pune.
Very famous Cafe situated on fc Road in PMC.
Irani tea at its best, must try bun maska with Irani tea.
Many more items also available here but you can't miss tea and bun maska.
They maintained their old charm & delicacy.
Digital payment could be done here.
No parking space near the cafe, you had to park your vehicles little far from the cafe.
Crowed on weekends.
At the centre point of Gymkhana of Pune, this is a restaurant where you walk in the heritage of Pune. Their Keema Pao, bun maska and tea are fantastic, unmatched classic. Must visit for savoring dishes of Pune classical eating. Top rated place in India. Pocket friendly.
A typical Irani cafe
The cafe having two dining spaces/rooms opens into what's ideally associated with such cafes, the corners being loved by the spiders, the old fan moving from right to left and vice versa, some old paintings of the city from the epoch of 50s and 60s and old-fashioned tables. None of this intends to imply a criticism, to be very clear.
We tried a coffee, a tea, the traditional bun-muska and a samosa plate here. All came within 5 mins of ordering. The samosa is amongst the very best I have tried anywhere hitherto, and I would surely recommend everyone to try it. It wasn't the typical samosa having white or brown filing but on a yellowish side and perhaps no words would precisely describe what exactly it tasted like. This was also the biggest samosa I have had hitherto ( although the pictures may not necessarily suggest so ). Both the above beverages were small-sized, and the prices were reasonable for all the items.
The cafe ( or more of a snack centre although it does serve some of the items of various Indian cuisines ) is located c quarter mile from PYC Hindu Gymkhana Metro Station and barely a tenth of a mile from the popular PYC Hindu Gymkhana.
Amazing cafe with a legacy. A place to hang out with friends and family to grab some good Irani chai and bun maska.
Virbrant atomosphere and great crowd.
Must visit place while roaming around in Pune
