This pure vegetarian restaurant is more than 53 years old (since 1970).. I'm lucky to miss only the initial 20 ish years of it.. πŸ€ͺ Food is great.. staff is excellent, quick service πŸ‘Œ All the south Indian style food is amazing.. idli was soft and fresh.. don't expect a flashy ambience at such a vintage place guys.. Chai is for Rs. 25/- (as of 22-Aug-23) but the quantity is good enough to be divided into two.. 😊 2 wheeler parking is easy, a bit hard luck for the 4 wheeler driver... Give it a try.. πŸ‘

I was not a very big fan of south Indian food. But this hotel proved me wrong. It made me fall in love with it. I mush say the food here soothes the soul. It's hard to keep up with the quality of food for long. But this hotel is an excellent example of persistent quality food

In today's times eating in hotels has become so expensive that it was a surprise to see the rates plus the quality being served here. I had an opportunity to try both breakfast & lunch at different occasions which were amazing in taste & quality was very good. Checking at the bill too was a surprise it was damn cheap compared to what one would pay in today's times in any good hotel. Eating a thali is like you just shell out Rs 60 to max Rs 150 with a lot of variety in it. Looking at the old antique look of the Hotel though surprising but yes in today's times also you get good food at affordable price. A definite try for food lovers & people looking for good affordable outing. Keep it Up Hotel Samrat !!! Keep the good work going
