I can only thank rakshinda aunty for her effortless preparation of not just finger licking cakes but customising them with perfection to the core. I started with my daughters 1st birthday and just last week she baked her 5th cake as well. I cannot think of trying anyone now because of the look n taste i have got glued to....every year my friends keep waiting to see what's the next cake going to look like. We ordered our daughter's first birthday cake from here in Nov'16. We were not only completely satisfied with the final outcome, but also had a good time interacting with Rakshinda the few times about what we needed.
The first birthday is a high stakes affair; a race against time, against conflicting ideas (TIP: the missus always wins), against money, and against resources of all kind. We can only try and hope that all the parts of the puzzle fall into place. In this mission, the cake plays an integral role. Not everyone might appreciate the difference between a good and a great cake, but we as parents will. We had an idea of what we wanted, and referring to Zomato, thought of checking if XOXO will be the right place for this.
Operating out of her home, Rakshinda is a master baker; knows the art well along with all the bells and whistles, loves what she does, and more importantly, wants to deliver what the customer needs, and NOT what she thinks should be. This last part was the main reason why we decided to go with XOXO. To begin with, when we contacted her, we asked if we could try a couple of her cupcakes, so that we could understand her flavours. As a quick mention, the chocolate and red velvet cupcakes were comforting as well as extremely gratifying.
Meeting with her and discussing how the cake should be was a warm experience. Also, she could immediately gauge what we wanted, and could guide us towards the most appropriate design and weight.
On the final day when we went to pick the cake up, we were entirely satiated at first sight. It was exactly how we had envisioned it. Apart from how it looked, it was oh so scrumptious! There was the right amount of moisture due to ample of cream layers within, and the cocoa itself used was absolutely delicious.
Needless to say, everyone loved it, and we were extremely happy with what Rakshinda/XOXO had delivered. We highly recommend XOXO to anyone who wants a non-run-of-the-mill cake, and may or may not know exactly what they want.

I was looking at various bakeries to have a unique cake for my friend's birthday when i stumbled onto XOXO desserts ...i spoke to aunty and we worked out on the idea of having themed cupcakes for my friend capturing his interests and passions. These turned out beautifully with each concept of the theme perfectly captured to decorate the sumptuous and delectable cupcakes. The flavours dark choco lemon red velvet and banana walnut were perfect! Loved the idea and cupcakes which were simply yum!

It is my goto place for celebratory cakes and cup cakes. I have tried Rakshinda's preparations 4 times till now and have every time got very personalised service and perfectly delicious baked products.
Best part here being Rakshinda spends time with you patiently, and recommends the best possible designs and flavours that will suit your gathering. Also she will try and make changes to fit things in your budget.
Flavour wise these are the best home baked cakes in Pune, few professional bakeries i like make very good cakes like PBC but then there is limited professionalization you can do.
So I am most satisfied with XOXO and will keep going back for my special cakes.

The best part is that if you give her a little outline of what's on your mind she will suggest you the right flavors and do an amazing job on it. You can be sure to get a choice of some yummy unconventional flavors here and if you go for the fondant cakes you ll surely get a cake that is just too lovely to eat.

I am so glad to select XOXO Deserts for ordering cupcakes to gift it to my friend on his Birthday. He was so happy and amazed at the presentation of the cupcakes being the best gift so far and that literally made his day. Not only the presentation, but the quality and the freshness, the taste of the cupcakes were just yumilicous. I selected the Musical theme and it was very well crafted on those yummy cupcakes. We were very happy with the cupcakes as it not only tasted amazing but we got it after placing an order in such short notice. Also they are very reasonably priced especially for the beautiful customizations.

Since the past two years, my birthday cake has been coming from Xoxo desserts. The first one was a Red Velvet with chocolate and vanilla cupcakes around it and the second one a Rainbow cake with a chocolate ganache on top.
The lady behind Xoxo is extremely warm and helpful when you're placing your orders. You say what you want and she gives you just about that. When you eat her cakes and cupcakes you know they've been made with love. Since hers is not a commercial shop, you can feel the difference in quality (it is wayyy better).
I have eaten a lot of red velvets, home baked, other places in pune and quite a few nice ones in bombay too, but hers has a different flavour and feel to it. Also she doesn't compromise on the amount of cream cheese frosting, so makes it even better!
Coming to the rainbow cake, I'm sorry I don't have a picture of the cake but it was one of the prettiest cakes I've ever seen! I thought cakes like these only exists on 9gag. Rainbow cakes are vanilla cakes with lots of colours. Nevertheless, they make for great birthday cakes.
Now the pricing, reasonably priced. The rainbow cake was priced at ₹1500 and the red velvet for ₹1000.
I'm always in search of the next awesome dessert place, and I think XOXO just hit the (sweet) spot. I've had the chocolate cake, the red velvet cupcake and they were both sinfully luscious. I love beautiful fondant work on cakes, and for that reason I've always admired this place for it's sweet art! I would strongly recommend that you order a cake here for a special occasion, and pick up some cupcakes while you're there, as well!
Had a friends birthday coming up and he had specially requested for a red velvet cake, we knew we had to preorder it as it wont be available over the counter anywhere so while looking up online we just happened to stumble upon XOXO Desserts and placed a order. We were very happy with the cake as it not only tasted amazing but we got it after placing an order in such short notice. Also they are very reasonably priced especially for a cake like red velvet which literally melts in your mouth. Cant wait to order again.
