Visiting Pune from America and we heard about this food truck. What a great find! The chicken skewers were super tasty; the Pad Thai was a bit more spicy than I'm accustomed too but it was delicious.
The food is excellent, unlike the Thai food at other fancy restaurants. At Buddha Food Palace you get a real and authentic experience of the Thai cuisine at phenomenal prices. A definite Double Thumbs up!

Buddha's Palace is my fav joint this side of the town for takeaways. I ordered for Thai basil chicken fried rice and burnt garlic chicken noodles. Both were delicious. Portions were filling. 3 people can easily have it. The only thing missing with the basil fried rice was a fried egg. Probably they forgot!!

Me and my brother were just looking around for food trucks in the city and got to know the authorities had closed it all down. And we spotted this cute little restaurant in idk which street. And the food they serve is authentic Thai and Chinese food ! I absolutely loved it. It was perfect.

YUM..!!! Think this term SUMS it all. Was always wondering if one could get chicken lollipops with actual chicken meat in it and yes my search ended here at Buddhas. They are crunchy, right amount of batter and has chicken 🍖 in it...not just uncooked chicken skin covered with batter which is just burnt from outside and undone from inside. Go for it you won’t regret. Happy Eating..!!!

So, this weekend we were in mood for some Thai cuisine. This was the first time we ordered Thai food from a restaurant as we usually dine out. Because we get lazy during weekends, don't we? About the restaurant, I would like to say, I am absolutely happy that I made the decision to order from here. The food? Yum! The taste? Yum!
We ordered, CHICKEN RED CURRY which was so good I was genuinely sad when it got over (mind you the quantity was more than sufficient for 4 of us). This is one of the best Thai Curry I have eaten. The Bamboo shoots in it enriching the unique taste the curry had. Seriously, we loved every bit of it.
Next on our menu was CHICKEN AND EGGS PAD THAI NOODLES, somehow eating it made me feel healthy? Hehe. It had a sour yet great taste to it, making it authentic. The feel of groundnuts crunch is always amazing and yes eating them in noodles was amazing. The quantity was sufficient for 2/3 people.
Another item was KHAO PAD KHAI, a rice dish which were indeed good but I don't think it will leave long lasting impression like how the curry and noddles will. (The name consisting of Khao and Khai is ironic)
CHICKEN SPRING ROLL was something which was given to us as the restaurant called us to tell Chicken Skewers weren't available. Disappointed about the news, but Spring Roll dint disappoint at all. I am not a big fan of spring roll, but I would say I definitely liked the taste it offered. It had good amount of ingredients, and the outer cover had what I like - crunch.

Tried this place for the first time. I've got a cold and with this chilly Pune weather, all I needed was something hot and tasty and I got exactly that. Just tried the soups today. Will be trying some Basil Chicken the next time... ❤️
Tried this place, they have a great concept. All the food trucks together. Place looks beautiful, with all the fairy lights. Food was yum, prices are reasonable. Good option to have thai food. Must visit.
Had ordered 2dishes .. chick hakka noodle. Really good, & chick basil with rice. was not so good still need to master the taste and flavour actually served with steamed rice. Not a good combination should be served with basil fried rice. Steamed rice is not to good combination.
This is a food truck which serves chinese and thai dishes. Of all the dishes we ordered, we liked paneer chilly and pad thai noodles. Basil chicken was ok. Paneer chilly is a little low on quantity. Rate is on the higher side.
The place offers thai as well as very good Indo-chinese.The food is really good, I tried chicken Schezwan noodles. The quantity they provide is good enough to satiate 2.

Visited this place in the evening. Seating arrangement here is open. Ordered veg soup along with pad thai noodles and basil chicken rice. Taste was amazing for all the items ordered. Authentic thai food they serve. Nice to try out if you are looking for some different option.

Food truck for all those who are seeking for Chinese food near wanowire. It’s open till 12 at night. We ordered Manchurian gravy, hakka noodles and Manchow Soups for 5 people. Quantity was sufficient. Also quality was Good. I will suggest to please try non-veg as well (Grilled Chicken) you can select chicken piece of your choice😊. Great place to be with friends and catch up old memories with awesome food.

After an early evening movie show, was tempted to try this place... Buddhas Food Palace, a Food Truck, at Wanowrie.
Tried their... Thai Basil Chicken Spring Roll... 200/- It was very good. Served with Sweet Thai Chilli Sauce. Very robust and with lots of filling.
And Thai Basil Chicken Stir fry... 250/- , with rice and topped with a fried egg. Large helping and very filling.
Loved them. Will definitely go to try other stuff.

I visited this place before couple of days. I felt like it’s actually nice setup of food trucks around selling various food items. And yes some of them were tasty too.
So at Buddhas food palace we had both veg and non-veg. I food items I would love to recommend are BBQ dishes, Thai basil paneer, veg pad Thai noodles.
My overall experience was good about food. I’ll rate this place 4/5.

This is one of the food trucks stationed at the food truck zone in Wanowrie area and they do Thai cuisine. We were invited to try out some dishes from these food trucks. Being a vegetarian, I was glad about them having ample of vegetarian options too. We started with Veg Spring Rolls. These were genuinely one of a kind for me given they were juicy. I've never had juicy spring rolls until now and I'll be coming back for these again. For the main course, there was Veg Pad Thai noodles, Veg Basil Fried Rice in Red Curry as well as the chicken version of the same.Out of all, my favourite would be Basil Fried Rice in Red Curry. There were many flavours going on and especially of the basil which tasted amazing. Really loved the strong basil flavour. My fellow food bloggers were very happy with their chicken version too. However, I found Pad Thai Noodles to be rather bland but as informed by the owner that was due to the absence of Fish sauce which is an integral part of Thai food. Being a vegetarian, I had to refrain from it. Above all, they have an enticing variety of Thai food. Will definitely visit them again to try out more items. We were invited at the food truck junction in Wanowrie to try out all the varieties of food that they had to offer. One of them was Buddha's. We loved what was served before us, so let's get started.
The chicken basil spring rolls were served with a honey-chilli sauce which was truly amazing. The spring rolls were crunchy and delicious. The vegetarian version of this dish has mushrooms in it and is decent but the chicken spring rolls are better. Next came the Chicken Thai Curry which was prepared with coconut milk and chillies but that doesn't make it sweet at all. In fact, there was a balanced spiciness and creaminess in the dish which enhanced the delicious flavor. Must try! The vegetarian version of this dish was also delicious but the chillies were on the milder side. Nonetheless it is totally recommended by the chef and us.
I, personally, haven't tried many vegetarian options here but this place sure looks promising in terms of the quality and quantity of food served. The prices aren't that cheap for a food truck but they maintain hygiene and taste which justifies the prices in a way. If you are in the vicinity, do try out their Thai and Chinese cuisines, I am sure, it will get you hooked.
Lastly, a huge shout-out to all the food trucks for the invitation! We had a great time!
The idea of food trucks is catching up lately in the city . This one is in wanowrie serving some lip smacking thai food .Also worth mentioning is that its dog friendly and has ample parking space in the front as well.
This is what we ate-
We had veg and non veg spring rolls which came 6 in a plate and were served with schezwan sauce and tasted awesome.
Next were the fantastic thai grilled chicken skewers which were mindblowing in taste and thats what I would ask you not to miss.
We also ate the veg pad thai noodles which turned out to be mediocre and can be improved upon.
The best thing to hog here is the veg basil fried rice in red curry and the chicken basil fried rice in green curry. Both were undoubtedly amazing in taste.
All in all the place is really good .Definitely pay a visit and carry an umbrella if going in the rains.

Visiting Buddhas food truck happened just by sheer luck and not a planned one! Travelling by that area, i happened to come across this beautifully lit area lined with food trucks that caught my eye. Going through the menu, i knew this is what i needed.
The thai basil chicken fried rice comes with a lovely combination of fried rice with seafoods in lovely sauces and an egg on top. Comes alongside with it is a homely fish sauce prepared by them that complimented each bite perfectly. Havent had a better fish sauce in ages. Ask for the sauce if they forget to give you just in case.
The serving takes time but then it is okay to wait seeing the rush and the good food they serve.
A total value for money. Expect one dish to suffice two people with an average apetite. Try the chicken satays as well, you wouldnt complain!

Buddha’s Food Palace is a food truck located in wanowire. This food truck zone has other food truck also. This zone has good seating, amazing lights, good parking space.
So, I went there for dinner and tried the following from their menu,
1.Thai Basil Spring Roll – This were traditional spring roll. They had paneer inside it and a little flavor of basil. The outer layer of spring roll was crunchy and were little oily, but the taste was perfect. The spring roll were served with chopped cabbage, veggies and schezwan chutney.
2.Veg Basil Fried Rice with Green Curry – This can be eaten as mains and is enough for a single person. The dish had fried rice served with green curry. The taste is good, not too spicy, and the curry is proper Thai curry which has flavor of basil. The curry has chopped veggies like capsicum, tofu, etc along with mushroom.
3.Veg Pad Thai Noodles – Pad Thai are stir fried noodles, commonly served as street food in most of Thailand. This dish had pad Thai flat noodles, soft and tasty. The Thai noodles had chopped spring onion, chili flakes, onion topped with a piece of lemon. Overall well balanced taste. #Musttry
I really enjoyed the Thai food here and it was super tasty.
The prices are on little higher side, but you also get the quality along with quantity.
Best of luck to the management and will love to visit this place again.

Situated at a nice place, with good parking, nice relatively quiet atmosphere and possesses seating with beautiful lights. This food truck provides a good variety in their food menu. Has an upper hand in BBq dishes, but also has a good variety in oriental cuisine with different rice dishes. The seating here is not properly covered as this is a food truck.
Positives: Good food variety, tasty dishes, concise menu, bbq dishes.
Thing to remember: Carry your umbrella during the rains and have a good food experience.

So I tried the “Veg spring rolls” here and one of the best sellers here the “Veg Hakka Noodles”.
Veg spring rolls: They were heavenly truly scrumptious. The food was delivered to me fresh hot crispy and must say even though it was a foodtruck the food delivered was of really good quality. They served us the spring rolls with schezwan sauce and it was really thoughtful of them to parcel a generous amount of schezwan sauce with the food which was again the perfect taste!
Veg Hakka Noodles: This was the best seller on their online ordering list so I ordered for it and again the noodles were fresh and perfect consistency. Really enjoyed eating them too. The quantity was enough for 2 people to eat comfortably.
Will definitely order from this place again. Was a wonderful experience. The only con was that the food was delivered a bit late but the taste quality and freshness of the food really made up for it . Definitely a must try.

A food truck situated at a beautiful location, this place serves Thai and Chinese Food.
I tried three of their items :
•Thai basil veg with rice [Rs. 250/-]
The Basil veg was cooked really nicely and tasted super nice. It had a lot of veggies into it which went well with each other.
•Thai curry with rice [Rs. 250/-]
I just loved their Thai Curry. A perfect Thai curry with thin consistency (the authentic way) and beautiful taste. They serve one of the best Thai curry in Pune, no doubt.
•The veg basil spring roll [Rs. 200/-]
Served with sweet chilli sauce, you will really like this if you like the taste of basil. I am not a basil fan, but I loved the spring rolls. They were not too oily, had proper filling and tasted really nice with that dip.
Overall these people really know their food. They know how Thai food is made and they are very good at it.
The only con that I found was the price point. I feel it's a tad expensive for a food truck.

This food truck is totally amazing! They serve Thai food because they know Thai food and the food served here tastes all exotic and the spices and blend is purely Thai in its approach.
Ambience - snucked away in a cute little corner in Oxford village , near wanorie. It is located in a foodtruck juncture which contains 4-5 food trucks all having different specialities in the form of menu. The place has a Uber cool and hipster vibe to it. It is well decorates with fairy lights and the food truck is quite elegant looking with boho colors.
Food- coming to food I had basil chicken fried rice along Red Thai curry and chicken skewers made in assorted Thai sauces on the side. It was stopped with Sunny side eggs with bottoms up . My platter also consisted of sweet and sour sauce and prik sauce . The basil chicken fried rice tasted amazing with the right amount of spice blended into it. The Thai curry was creamy and the chicken was succulent. The chicken skewers was extremely juicy and all the sauces were blended amazingly. The blend bettwen spice and sweetness was just the right amount. And the entire food tasted awesome with their super tangy and fiery sauces on the side.
All in all a must try food truck if you have craving for some real and tasty Thai food. And I mean it. This place serves better Thai than most big restaurants. Go give this place a visit and have a lit dinner there.

I am a pure vegetarian and I go here to have their veg thai curry it's delicious and the best I have had in pune, I have had both their red and green and love both. The red is milder than the green but both are unique and tasty in their own ways. Their new location is beautiful and very lively and got really good vibes feels really nice to go there and enjoy a meal

Such amazing Thai food, it feels as if I never left that place.... Thai Basil Chicken with rice is something to die for... Great set up with lively music and other trucks parked... The owner is very friendly and gives very good suggestion, so even if you're not familiar with Thai, you could always experiment and trust me you will be in for a very pleasant surprise...

Placed a delivery order and it was the first time I was trying the same. The Pad Thai noodles were really good and really nice . Also ordered the Thai Basil chicken noodles , both the dishes were good and had their own distinct flavour and taste . Overall the experience was great and I would order from them again. Do they them out and you would not be disappointed.
Tasty as always and switched to better place because there was lot of pollution.i have been there to almost 10 times but ordered the same thing. NOw it's time to change but overall the service was good. I always had good time there.

Wanowrie area is recently seeing many food junctions coming up. Hence I went out on a drive to see if I could find anything new. As I was near Bizzbay Mall, on NIBM Road I saw a decent looking small food truck by the name Buddhas Food Palace. I was overjoyed to see it catered Thai cuisine, as its one of my favourites.
I stopped over and fetched their menu card. Very short and interesting. We went in for Thai Grilled Skewers and Thai Basil Chicken and rice. The food is served in comfortable flat plastic containers. Both these dishes were authentically Thai. The Skewers were the best. Perfectly cooked and very lightly flavoured. The Thai Basil Chicken was heavenly. The Chicken chunks tossed in Basil is a must try here. Its served with an half fried egg on top.
This was what I had last week. Today I was searching for some good place in Wanowrie to have some Chinese, and guess what? Buddhas food palace name flashes. I called them and got to know that they recently started chinese too.
This time we decided to try Chicken Chilly Dry, Hot Garlic Dry and Schezwan Fried Rice. The Chilly Chicken and Hot garlic were just mouth watering. Both not too spicy and perfectly cooked and tossed in the sauces. The Hot garlic chicken was as delicious as it looked.
A special review of the Schezwan fried rice. This was such an awesome dish here. Once you taste the first bite, its just not possible to stop eating. A dish not to be missed here.
Overall, Good people, great food – a place which Thai and Chinese lovers must not miss.

we went to the truck last night, we were really hungry and we passesd by this truck and we tried their thai food
1. basil chicken 2 portions: we loves it it was delicious, the owners of the place gave us a separate chilli garlic sort of a vinegar and suggested us to mix with the food ans it just made the experience completely authetic.
2. green chicken curry, first we thought it was bland but the owners explained to us that the saltiness comes from the chilli garlic sauce that they give separately so customers can add as to their preference and once we added it it was superb. it just changed the whole taste.

This was a great find for me. Being an absolute Thai food lover, I got lucky to find this just a few minutes away from my place. Great food, very clean and hygienic and if you order it, it reaches you bang on time. The quantity sufficient and honestly, it's not that expensive.

Thai BBQ chicken wings: its delicious and made to perfection. My favourite out of all!!
Basil chicken with rice: For everyone who loves basil chicken, you'd know how good this one is. A great meal!!
Pad Thai noodles: I've had both veg and non-veg Pad Thai noodles and it's really delicious! Squeeze that lime and enjoy this delectable dish. It's very close to how authentic Pad Thai is.

What I have tried - Chicken Pad Thai noodles, chicken in thai red curry with rice, bbq wings and papaya salad.
What I liked: in terms of authencity, The Pad Thai noodles came closest to what I have eaten in Bangkok. The right amount of flavours and texture of the noodles. What I liked in the curry with rice was the vegetables - both it's taste as well as the right proportion.
The BBQ wings is something that I didn't like so much. It was edible yes but then I have never liked wings, in any form so maybe it was a wrong order for me.
All in all, a novel experience as haven't seen any other Thai food truck in town..maintains good level of hygiene and don't know any other place where you get authentic Thai food at this price

I tried the veg Thai green curry & it was very very good in taste. It had lot of veggies & tofu with it. It was quite authentic. Also liked the concept of food truck. I will visit this place again to try the other options available. And they keep it very neat & clean.
