While I was sitting here and thinking what to write, it turns out that I've been coming here since the past decade!
Indeed they've changed with the times, however what remains consistent is the taste of the delicacies dished out here.

One of the best restaurants in Pune for hardcore non-veg lovers. We ordered Chop masala (Beef) chicken kabab and Beef biryani. Meat was so soft and tender that we didn’t feel like we are having Beef. It was tender than Goat meat. Kababs were fabulous. I would go there again to eat nalli nahari which is one of the best in the restaurant as the restaurant owner told me. It’s definitely recommended for people who wants to eat some good non-vegetarian food.
What can I say... My lifelong search of good seekh kabab in Pune has finally ended at this place.
It was Sunday evening and it took some time finding this place. Let me tell you if you are looking for good ambience and traveling via car do not dare to enter this place. You'll not find car parking at least 1km from this place. Also the place is clean but not cozy by any means.
I've ordered seekh kabab, paratha, mutton paya and tandoori roti.
Seekh kabab - Best in Pune hands down and has to be enjoyed with paratha and mint leaves they provide.
Mutton Paya - This took me by a surprise. I found the same taste as you get in authentic Hyderabadi restaurant.
I'm really happy to find out this heavenly place which was hidden from me for so long.
The food is amazing beyond power. Special mention to chicken kebabs and naan. Their caramel custard is tasty crazy. The staff is polite and the service is fast.

We had many seek kebabs but the juiciness and the tenderness that we get at Shahi Dawat is unbeatable.
Just by taking single bite one can realize the real effort they put to make a kebab so delicious, so scrumptious that it transform into “King-of-Kebabs”.

No doubt the showstopper of the evening was this delicious, juicy and succulent chicken Seekh kebab at the legendary Gulzar-e-Mohammadi (Now Shahi Daawat) in camp, but hey, I'd still prefer beef over these.
We keep buying food from this place the food is awesome and yummy the people are warm and friendly and I've never had a complaint check out their kebabs and their biryanis keep doing well cooking amazing food 👍

Definitely try Chicken Biryani. Undoubtedly the one of the best chicken biryanis I have tried.
It isnt like those fancy restaurant where you get nonsense food for very high rates. It isnt for instagrammers because you just cannot feel rich while having such food with this type of presentation. Prices are not upto your mark so you better search bigger restaurants in that area.

Relocated to Pune in 2012 ... since then I am searching for juicy , tender and soft kebabs in Pune, but i never found it .. i used to travel to Mumbai to Fort area and satisfy my urge @ Bade Miyan and Ayubs and return back same night.

The place is ideal for all kinds of people , its not fine dining restaurant ... but its a restaurant where family can enjoy and it has a vintage feel on the first floor.
Butter Chicken , Chicken kebab and beef kebab were amazing and melting in mouth ...
Beef and Chicken dishes are served quickly .... but mutton related dishes takes time .... and my experience with mutton dish is not good, but rest everything was spot on.

This was my first visit in pune after having delicious veg food the craving for non veg was too high and the zomato search brought me to this place. I have ordered couple of items from the menu Seekh kebab paratha and chelo kebab.
Seekh kebab the best ever Seekh kebab I have eaten. Minimal spices and bang on flavor.
Paratha was good crispy outside and soft inside. The paratha taste was just like a poori as the paratha cooking method is same like poori.
Chelo kebab was really good as the chicken pieces were soft and juicy. The gravy was little bit sweet due to usage of little bit extra onions. The best part of the dish was amul butter dulop place on the top of the rice for the garnishing and it was like taste enhancer for the dish.
The ambiance and the service was okaish which can be neglected infront of amazing and delicious food.
By watching on NDTV Highway On My Plate by Rocky and Mayur .. we were serching for Shahi Davat restaurant .. and finally we got it .. name changed. It was Sunday and speciality was Paya Masala . Order it and it was fingur licking . Tested such a amazing food in Pune . With this ordered parrota .. it was ok, little chue . And at last Biriyani .. one of the best tested till now.

Finally after hunting a lot, found this place where I can get one of the best kebabs in Pune. Kebabs are juicy, with lots of flavour in it, no fancy spices used.

Finger licking, mouth watering food. Try the daily specials...nalli nihari. Dalcha, beef chops....swift and courteous service....do interact with the jovial owner Mohammed Reza, smiling and always humming a song. Trademark his short khakis. ..he will surely assist you in choosing the dishes keeping your taste buds in mind.
Been here numerous times mutton seekh kabab is really good..specially the arabic butter chicken is amazing and is not listed in their menu 👌🏼👍🏼
The management and ownership has changed since the restaurant started a few years ago.. It has helped improve the standard to some extent.. I don't care cos all I have to do is order a seekh and paratha. Nothing else matters.. It's being made on flat skewers like the Lebanese / Iraqi style & they pack it in aluminum foil and not newspaper anymore!
I have tried several things here, and I am so glad they've started showing up on other food apps too now. Great food at great price. The tandoori chicken and roti are extremely good.

Good place to have some non veg delicacies.
I love their seekh kebabs,butter chicken,jeera rice and chicken masala.
I am also a fan of their tandoori roti. They serve it hot and crisp rotis right from the tandoor.
This place is pocket friendly and one can visit it when they're broke.
Nothing much to say about the ambience. The only problem here is most of the seating area is accommodated by men. They do have a family room but its really small. Like only 4 tables i'd say.
This place is certainly not meant for ordering Chinese dishes as they lack the authentic touch. Their Chinese dishes are just average and most of them are greasy with too much oil in it but certainly a good place for tandoor related items.

This is a very good hotel in Pune. It is on M.g Road.The atmosphere here is very good and the food here is even better. Specially seek kebab and chicken items. You people who eat non-veg must go here. The waiter service here is also very good. There is a little problem of parking here so I would say that it would be better to go by cab. There are very good markets near this hotel from where you can do shopping.

One of my favorite restaurant I visited regularly. Quality of good is also good with having enough quantity. The place is usually crowded and you will feel congested. They have different sections with for family they have separate AC family section. This place is always favorite whenever I visited with my family. If you are in camp area you should go once for the taste of this food....
If Kebabs are your Sin, then you need to come here and eat their seekh kebabs and trust me, it is awesome in every bite and awesomess. The look and feel of the place isn't much to look at but if you have not eaten here then you haven't eaten seekh kabab
A good family restaurant in the heart of the city. Nice authenticate taste of muglai food. Not heavy on pocket plus decent dish servings. Negatives are no parking space and average ambience /sitting arrangements.
We wanted to order something good on the run menu food, on suggestion of waiter Tasneem he got us Chilly Chicken masala and Parota and it was superb and then we ordered Chicken seek kabab and tandoori roti that was also great in taste and very reasonable. Then Tasneem asked if the food taste was good and we agreed it was fantastic🤘😝🤘 keep up the good work. Will visit again.

We started with tea as usual. The tea served here is amazing.
My friends ordered seekh kawab, Keema, Biryani. I ordered Paneer dish. All items were consumed with their flat bread. Which is freshly made.

This used to be my go to place every Friday evening. While the kebabs are hands down the best in Camp, my favourite is their *non-veg* pulao 😉🤫.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant .I have visited this place multiple times.Tried something different always.The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal. Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite.Like the fast service but better arrive early on weekend as it might get over crowed.
Excellent restaurant for great tasting halal food. They have many dishes, but all are not available everyday. Some items are over-priced but worth the overall experience.
I also liked their tandoori roti made of atta, whereas most other places use maida.
