Yumma Swami is a true gem in the world of South Indian cuisine. The moment you step in, you are greeted by the delightful aroma of authentic South Indian spices. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, with traditional decor that adds to the overall experience. The menu at Yumma Swami offers a delightful array of South Indian dishes that cater to every palate. From the crispy and perfectly cooked ghee dosa to the rich and aromatic filter coffee, every dish is a revelation of South Indian flavors. The dosas are thin and crispy, with just the right amount of ghee, and the chutneys and sambar are a perfect complement. What truly sets Yumma Swami apart is the dedication to authenticity. The flavors are as close to South India as you can get, and you can taste the care that goes into every dish. The staff is incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, which adds to the overall dining experience. They are more than happy to recommend dishes or customize them to your preference. In conclusion, Yumma Swami is a must-visit for South Indian cuisine enthusiasts. It's a place where you can savor the true essence of South India, and I can't recommend it enough."

I personally like the dish - Malgapodi Ghee Masala Dosa ... Very Crispy with Sambar and two types of Chutneys .. Sambar is usually thick and with a good taste. Service is quick. The place is kept neat.

This is one place for proper Karnataka style food. The food tastes very good. Must try - Podi idli, Devangre benna dosa, aapam with stew and filter coffee. This place was recently renewed. Service is really quick and good. Comparatively costlier. Ambience is good. Good place for South Indian dining with family.

Delicious South Indian food. The overall ambience is nice, well maintained place. I tried varieties of Dosa like Ghree Garlic and Ghee Mysore, too good they were. The Sambar is unique in taste and chutney with it was very delicious. The filter coffee is must try. Appam with Ghee was very good. I wanted to try Putt with Kadala curry, however it was not available. The water was served in different steel pot (Tambya in Marathi). The spices are different and unique. Must visit place

We had a lunch at yamma swani on the recommendation of our good friend. It was a yammu experience. South Indian food is really authentic and delicious. There was a lady I don't know if she I a manager or the owner but she is really sweet. She helped us to understand menu and to order the best food. On her recommendation we ordered pizza dosa and Colaveri D drink, which we liked alot.

Good food and an extremely fast service. Another good thing is that they prefer using ghee instead of butter unlike the other South Indian restaurants. I ordered Ghee Masala Dosa which was nice and crispy, and one Idli Wada combo which was very soft and flavourful. The red chutney on the other hand has some excess black pepper. The place is also fairly busy being next to a mall and a local market street.

A must visit place for trying authentic south indian dishes in Pune. The taste is simply amazing and they have a variety of dishes to choose from. The also serve Sappadam (Chennai Meals) only over the weekend and is really awesome. The place is always busy with people coming to enjoy the taste of southern India with quirky graffitied on the wall.

Yummaswami was definitely a revelation for me...Such amazing south Indian food. I totally loved it both the times I went here. The only downside was that they have stopped making some of the dishes on the menu that are lesser known..Would have loved to try a few of those...

Wow, what an awesome place, the most delicious South Indian food I've had in ages, authentic and full of lively colors, this place is on its way to exponential Fame! FOOD is just the right amount of delicious. Don't hesitate to ask your server for what's best on the menu, you will not be disappointed. I tried some great dishes recommended by the servers, out of which I liked the malgopodi idli and dosa very much. And the kesar bhath(sheera) is to die for. Try the thali for lunch it is plenty and hooves you a taste of all the variety they offer. SERVICE is amazing, like I said before the servers are well trained and are very helpful and adjusting. AMBIENCE is very lively and chirpy, the posters on the wall are entertaining, they have maintained the South Indian theme with a small counter for filter coffee and the graffiti is something you can take a look at while your order is being prepared. Very clean and well maintained. Don't think, just go check out this place.. You will not regret it

Yummaswami is Camp's latest offering to Pune. It is a South Indian speciality restaurant which dishes out amazing idlis, vadas, appams and many more South Indian delights. Located next to Coffee House (opposite SGS Mall), Yumma swami is a great addition. I was there last week and tried a few of their offerings and below are the ones which I really loved. -- Sapadam Thali - Authentic South Indian Thali served with Puri and rice. There was so much to eat. Difficult for one person to finish. --Rawa Masala Dosa - was really crunchy and I loved the sambar and chutney that accompanied it. --Ghee Roast Dosa - Dark brown is the color I like my dosas to be. Really crucnchy and very nice ghee flavour to it. -- Pepper Mushroom with Appam - This was the highlight of the evening for me. I am a mushroom lover and really loved the gravy. Will definitely re-visit for this. -- Ragi Dosa - for all the health conscious people. Taste was good. -- Another gem was Podi Idli. The idli is soft and huge and the podi on top is absolutely authentic. Loved it!! -- I loved the cold coffee, it had a nice bitter taste and to cut it it was made a bit sweet. A bit expensive but then you have to pay for good coffee. -- Badam Milk was also very tasty. My son liked it. -- Badami Mango was a dessert which you should definitely try. Kind of mango + almond shrikhand but not quite that. Something different. Overall a very good place for South Indian food lovers. Menu is curated by Chef Shailendra Kekade of 'Style Chef' fame on Food Food channel.
