It's cosy and has a great ambiance. If you are trying out Sushi for the first time then just go for Makong special rolls, there's a high chance you will like it but don't take my word for it as my friends didn't.
We visited here on a weekend..it was pretty empty ...service was pretty quick
.the ambience was small and cozy..coming to food and drinks..we order mekong special sushi, prawn & chicken sui mai , and Mongolian chicken hot pot rice..the sushi and hot pot was so delicious...one of the best I've had..sui mai was also good.. for drinks we tried peach iced tea which was refreshing..only one bad thing was the electricity went off towards the end and we had to eat in candle light..but staff was helpful and apologized for the inconvenience..I would definitely come back for the sushi and hotpot rice.
We had a couple of dishes here, however, the one we liked is Veg asian spice choy thong (Soup), Veg cheese chilly garlic (Dimsum), Aspagaras Tempura roll (Sushi).
Visited for the first time.
Small and cozy restaurant
Staff was nice and welcoming
Food was quiet good. Ordered a soup, appetiser and pan fried noodles.. noodles were the best out of 3 đ
Cost effective as we got a good deal through Swiggy Dineout
I was sitting right next to the glass door and could smell cigarette in the open area. Now I know where to sit when I visit next. đ
Food was good. Service was quick. Staff was polite.
Kung pao chicken sauce was very concentrated could have been better.
Loved the avocado cream roll sushi.
And the lemongrass and ginger drink was totally worth it. It paired really good with the food.
This is a small upmarket pan asian dining and takeaway place tucked inside one of the lanes in Viman Nagar. The dining space is small but near. Offers a good selection of pan asian dishes and cocktails. The best part is that it is truly differentiated from the typical Indian Chinese restaurants in terms of the authenticity and taste of the dishes. Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese and other dishes are true to their origin and give a feeling of having partaken a well made meal with the right consistency and flavours.
We had a combination of cocktails, soups, starters and main course items and each item was unique and delicious. The prices are somewhat upmarket but you can rest assured of getting a truly authentic pan asian and satisfied experience.
Free parking is available on the roadside and prior booking is recommended especially on weekends since the dining space is limited.
If you're near the airport and need a quick Asian cuisine fix, this is the place to visit. Very serene, calm and warm atmosphere in the middle of Viman nagar. They have a bakery and over the counter deserts and baked items on the ground floor, as soon as you enter.
On the top floors are the restaurant. The Asian cuisine ticks all boxes. The soups are wholesome. Dimsums are 4 or 8 per portion depending on what you choose. They have a mix of affordable and expensive dishes on the menu. For example, you could eat in Rs 600 to Rs 6000 here, depending on your choice.
This is a 5/5 place. Must try!

Undoubtedly one of the best places in town for Pan Asian cuisine!!
Its extensive quality menu and service make it a must visit. 10/10 for this. Only hits,no misses.
The food and presentation is very good. Menu has widespread options available. Service was quick and prompt. Worth a try. Best Asian cuisine in the town.
Mekong Folks is a fantastic restaurant that serves best Asian cuisine. From the moment you walk through the doors, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with friendly staff who are eager to help you choose the perfect dish.
The menu at Mekong Folks is extensive, with a wide range of options to choose from. The flaming Smoking roll Sushi is particularly delicious and is a must-try for anyone visiting the restaurant. Please dont miss their Baos, its so delicious.
The restaurant is well-decorated and has a cozy ambiance that is perfect for a casual meal or a dinner date. The staff are attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu. They are happy to offer recommendations and are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that your dining experience is unforgettable.
My favourite place. Presentation and taste always on point. Love it! Great staff and soothing mild music so people can talk over dinner. Im so glad no one blasts music loudly. Its really hard to find that in noisy club Viman Nagar area. Recommended dish: Prawn Har gao
Food is really good. I ordered Mekong Special Roll sushi which was outstanding.
Service is good and special requests are entertained if made well in advance like preferred seating. Staff is courteous and dishes come in quickly once the order has been placed. Plate change is not frowned upon. Service charge is included in the bill so I didnât tip despite liking the service.
Atmosphere is also good, nice ambiance coupled with good music uplifts senses. There is a sense of calm and you donât fell pushed to just order, eat and go. Parking is available in the V18 compound which is a respite from the crowded Balewadi High Street parking. So go on use your car if you donât want to get drenched in monsoon.
Very cozy place, gets crowded and noisy. Everything gets compensated by tasty food. Their preparations are really worth trying.
It's very, very difficult to get good sushi and Cantonese cuisine anywhere around here. What if I tell you that I found the perfect place in Mekong Folks? Yes!
It's a tastefully done place, with a warm and pleasing environment. The food complements the vibe perfectly. Here's what I tried-
Crispy California Sushi- A very different take from your regular sushi, with a crispy outer shell and lip-smacking filling.
Shrimp Tempura Sushi- A drizzle of tempura sauce in fresh, succulent shrimps made this sushi too, a droolworthy affair.
Veg. Burnt Chilli Garlic Fried Rice- A Chinese classic, done right in every single ingredient that goes in it, inclding the rice!(imaginary eye roll)
Chicken Chilli Oil Spring Onion- Sliced chicken pieces tossed with olive oil and generously sprinkled with spring onions. It's a unique appetizer and should not be missed.
All in all, you cannot miss this amazing, amazing place if true, oriental delight is on your mind this weekend!
Haven't had such an eclectic mix of flavors and textures in a while. We ordered lobster with black bean sauce and it turned out to be a feast not just for the taste buds but for the other senses of sight and smell as well. The black bean sauce went well with the crunchy slices of green apple. The noodles themselves were extremely savoury.. made us re-base our threshold for what good noodles should taste like.
The sushi we ordered initially before the lobster was probably amazing.. but we were really hungry at that time and so won't be able to offer an objective review of that LOL.. we could have eaten anything at that point.
My Go to place for Asian food.. pan friend noddles veh and non veg are my all time favourite and never disappointing.. mango Liam hot pot rice is another favourite.. service in the restaurant is good⊠sometimes home delivered food is not that good taste ise and quantity wise⊠dine in experience is good.. sushi are okay and does not meet the expectationsâŠ
