Super cool ambience, great staff helped a lot for comfortable dining, i must say the north indian cuisine was soo and every single dishes at top notch... Must to work on the buffet part, like salads and deserts was not helpful, there are varieties but doesn't feel like anything in it. Overall thumps up for woods food👍

Don't have a picture to share as everyone just jumped onto the food. But what an amazing lunch we had. We were group of 11 so the order was long and took some time, but was worth the wait.
Must order dishes sabzi Bahara, Afghani chicken, veg platter and mutton Biryani.

Enjoy zomato gold at this place. Must go if you visit wonderla or have come for a drive nearby.

I went to the place on my wayback from Mysore with my parents. It was quite early for dinner, but I wanted to explore this place. Dragon Chicken and Butter chicken was lip-smacking. They have got quite a wide variety in the menu. It is around 2km from highway.

This place is a part of the wonderla resort. I visited this place during my weekend trip to wonderla resort, even though I was not much happy with the resort this restaurant was worth full rating. I had both my dinner and complimentary breakfast there.
This has a very friendly ambiance and well maintained one. I ordered chicken cream soup, paneer manchurian, chicken chettinad, rumali roti, garlic Naan and pineapple cheese cake. All the dishes has their signeture taste and aroma intact. I found the chicken was not cooked properly and raised the same concern, they took the plate and cooked it properly. After that the gravy had changed a bit but was tasting good.
Even though the price was bit higher but the quality and quantity justified it.
I loved th cheese cake. The complimentary breakfast was okay But the idli was bad. The options were limited. The restaurant people are humble and service was very good.

Buffet after the Wonderla fun and tiredness. Booked dinner buffet along with water park tickets.

Food- Food is fresh and yum! Liked the mutton preparations, biryani and fish starter. Deserts are good.

Service- Quick and professional service.

Buffet- In terms of variety I was a bit disappointed as the options are limited as compared to other Buffet restaurants. Like we found one veg and one non veg starter. Main course we had one mutton preparation, one chicken.

Ambience: Good ambience and prompt service.

Good place for Indian and Chinese food off course. The variety is quite overwhelming, but the quality is pretty good.  It's a place to sample a lot of food and fill your tummy when you are extremely hungry. If you like the above mentioned cuisines (very rich food, with lot of butter & ghee) then yes, go for it. We really loved the crispy corn kernels & Murg tikka Lababdar.

I found to be the best bet when out for a drive on the Mysore road stretch, yea lots of cafes & dhabas on the way & around but when you crave something hygienic & healthy this place makes sense.

Woods part of wonderla resort is open to outsiders apart their resort guests.
Reaching late around 10ish din find the buffet interesting, being late for a severing already spread long before.
We opted for alacarte, called for some starters & main course. Food was amazing & not a word to point. Service was good as well.
Overall a good experience & definite stop on further drives on Mysore road.
Price may seen on higher side but falls on par for what you get.

Easiest dining option when you visit Wonder La resort or water park. It is located right at the entrance of the resort and is hard to miss, what with the huge billboards advertising the restaurant. Dinner was a buffet spread, above average, decently priced but didn't have a lot of variety. The pasta was excellent though and well made. Buffet starts only at 7.30pm, so time well. Ambience is strictly average and service is fairly quick.

The place is really good , quiet . After u get tired with the games u play in wonderla, the best place to have dinner and chill out . The place is crowd or something , just a few people with the writers and manager , I tried buffet in the dinner which is really good in taste , quantity all . They have many varieties .
Staters was good only thing was it was not hot , pasta which I loved most over there live pasta , he makes it very good . Roti and other items are really good . The salads they serve , raitha very too good.
Curd rice how can I forget really good. They give cakes , ice cream , sweets all are of 3 or 4 varieties
Cost wise it's worth for they give us for buffet.

Everything is quite nice. Ambience food etc. But the main problem is with the very idea of having a fine dining restaurant in wonderland. You can't stop here while travelling to Mysore nor would you eat here when enjoying at wonderla.

My in laws live on mysore road and we have been desperately trying to find a fine dining restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised to find what we needed in woods at Wonderla. The food tasted really good with a good buffet spread. Special mention for the butter chicken. Staff were very courteous especially Mr Praveen who organised a cake cutting ( uncle's birthday) at the pool side area. A definite go to lace for all residents of mysore road and also.for bangaloreans travelling to mysore

Found out that Wonderla has a resort that serves amazing buffet through Zomato. Came here with my cousins from Australia. Really liked their lunch menu. Too bad it's far from the city would definitely come by more often if it was closer. But for now I know where to eat everytime i visit Wonderla . Must visit !

Good buffet spread.
But, one major flaw.
The variety in non veg platter is missing. When one opts for a buffet he has to eat on the host s options.
It becomes imperative to get out the best. Else, decor set ambience and welcome all very lovely.
There is a live pasta and spagetti counter dishing out selection combos.

Best taste, very courteous and mannered service, great ambiance, what else you need. Tasted dinner buffet, it was average. However, all ala carte menu was great. Let me name few here...Tripple schezwan fried rice, chicken grevy, chicken biryaani, gulaab jamoon. Kids favorites are also great. Its bit costly, but if u are inclined towards great experience, this is a must visit. Tip: try visiting on weekdays or any workit day. Weekends are too busy.

Went to The Woods Wonderla on a Saturday for dinner after an amazing experience in the amusement park, it was our first visit in the resort restaurant. The ambience was superb with the duct and design works. I really liked the ala carte menu design is clearly match the wall paint art, finally we decided to go for the buffet because it is looking really worthy, The Jaipuri Bhindi was really nice & so crispy, they have a nice baby corn preparation and that was one of the best, The chicken Tikka was also good, the starters on the whole were nice. Main Course buffet was also really yummy especially the beetroot Rasam & the steamed rice combination. Half of our meal we comes to know that about the live pasta counter, still we tried

Wowwwwwwwwwwww, best yummy pasta with cheesy topping, in the dessert I was served some brilliant presentation of mango cheese cake, probably the best I have eaten, also the adda Payasam. Nice place for great food. Finally wonderful staffs with full of smile and taking care at your service every time even in the live counter chef.

One of the best Butter Chicken I've had.

POSITIVES -
+ Decent Decor
+ Good Food

NEGATIVES -
- Slow Service

MUST TRY -
* Butter Chicken

Nonica Sharma and I were on our way to Wonder la and we hadn't had lunch. We hoped that there would be some good food inside the theme park. Luckily for us, the Wonder la resort building had this Woods Restaurant as a part of it and we stopped by for lunch. The ambience is pleasant and the decor is decent. Since we were in a hurry, we only ordered Butter Chicken and Indian Breads for lunch.

The service was a little slow but the butter chicken was phenomenal! It had the perfect level of creaminess, the perfect blend of spices with the right mix of spiciness and sweetness and was truly one of the best Butter Chickens I have eaten and trust me I have eaten Butter Chicken at more places than the number of stars in the sky! (I'm exaggerating a little here :p) The Naans and Roomali Roti were good too.

It would've been great if the service was a little faster and the overall decor could use a little more work on it. But the Butter Chicken was worth it all.

Sometimes places go unnoticed not due to lack of quality but due to various other factors such as "distance" and "availability" of other places which are at proximity . Well "Convenience " is what we all look out for but as they say "Life begins at the end of your comfort zone." This quote sums up my experience here!

Located as a part of the Wonderla resort the restaurant is open to the guests they host and to all those who come in search for an adrenaline rush.

#Decor:
The pro would be the way they have decorated the space. Neither is it too grand nor is it too simple . "Tree" shaped decor and "cloud" shaped designs on the ceiling add charm to the place.
The cons however is that the tables are so closely spaced that it would definitely inconvenience the guests on busy nights!

#Grub:
We started out our meal with appetizers. The Dragon Chicken was too sweet for my palette. The chicken however was cooked well.
The mutton Skeekh Kebab was excellent . The minced mutton was cooked to perfection. The condiment provided with it made it an excellent dish.
The mushroom duplex was so - so. The lack of seasoning is what made this an average dish for me!

Nantes Seafood salad was chosen by my friend while I decided on "Badhami Yakhani Shorba" . It blew my mind away.
The aroma in itself was a tease. The Lamb broth garnished seasoned with the slightest of Badam and Cardamom made it worth every drop ;).
The serving size of the Salad was a tad too much. The dish looked clustered! The dressing was again sweet and that sort of was a let down as the dish was not per se authentic. The Chef however was very gracious when we provided our suggestions and clarified about how he experiments with food!

For Main course we chose the below:
Kha ob sapparot(Seafood)
Thai red fish curry
Murg Tikka Lababdar with Tandoori Roti

The chef nailed it with the main course all were top notch.
The Kha ob sapparot which is stir fried rice cooked with coconut milk , sea food served inside a pineapple. This was very creative to look at! It tasted absolutely scrumptious. The flavour was impeccable!
Thai red fish curry was simple yet was very delightful .I could sense the lemon grass , the curry paste and the coconut cream that were dominant in the curry.
Murg Tikka Lababdar was lajawaab. The nutty creamy flavour blended well with the spices making it delicious. The seasonings were spot on. It very soft, creamy and had a good mouth feel.

We decided to end the meal with Apple Pie with the sabayon Sauce , Wonderla triple chocolate slice with fruit caulis and the Cheese Barvarian with red wine sauce.
The Apple pie had the right texture . The cardamom sabayon sauce was the right complement for the pie.
The Wonderla triple chocolate slice was quite a sight . The dessert was plated up so well. The moment I set my eye on it I wobbled my head like a little kid.
The Cheese Barvarian with red wine sauce was good . The texture of a dessert is very crucial as it it not just the flavour that makes a dessert. So this one did fall short on this scale!

#Hospitality:
Where woods scores the highest is when it comes to their hospitality. The staff ranging from the wait staff , the manager and the chef were extremely cordial. They ensured we had a good stay "Good" would be an understatement for the stay, the culinary experience and the warmth offered.

My sentiments:
Woods would be one place which would definitely excel if they work a bit more on the marketing strategy. With a little finesse on the food department as well Woods is sure to emerge out as the next big thing on the "Mysore" road .
For those who wish to go on a long drive and fine dine . Woods is definitely one of the good options available .
Woods cater to occasions where romance could brew or be rekindled ;) , joyous family instances could be celebrated and even for some fun with friends.
On a scale of satisfaction they score an 8.

When it comes to food and dining experience, Woods is one of those undiscovered hidden gems in the Wonderla Amusement Park. As the city limits continue to stretch further, you wouldn't mind driving down on some casual weekend for a truly wonderful gastronomic delight. Most importantly, you could dine in at this place without purchasing the rather expensive amusement park tickets!

Location : Located very close to the entrance. As you enter the park, you get the resort on your right which houses this restaurant. Unfortunately, there is no specific banner or direction for this restaurant alone. Ample parking available.

Ambiance : Tasteful decor. The lovely mustard hues and animal prints adorning the wall complimented each other well. The smell of the air freshener was welcoming.

Food :
Always love a place serving multiple cuisines providing you an option to try out different ones for each of the courses. Here, the menu comprises of Indian, Continental and Oriental. We started off with two LIITs and a serving of the Lasooni Phool Gobi. The marinate on the gobhi was yummy. The chef got a portion of the Mushroom Pepper Fry which was made very well. The drinks were a lil disappointing. A minus .5 straightaway. Although strong, the taste of some tonic was overpowering. Would have loved to rate this place a 5/5, had it not been for the drinks.

For mains, we took the Aubergine Marinara(refer pic attached) and the Veg version of the Japanese Udon Noodles. Took longer to arrive on the table, but the taste and visual appeal made up for it. The Marinara was a huge portion of seasoned rice, stuffed fried aubergines, fries and some garden fresh exotic veggies. Absolutely loved it. Full marks to the presentation. The Udon was subtly seasoned with oriental sauces and hubby kept raving about how good it was till the end of the meal.

Happened to chit-chat with the management and found that they have a team of very well trained chefs specializing in all cuisines.

We were stuffed, but couldnt stay away from trying any of the desserts after the great description by Aarti in the above review. Tried the MangoCheeseCake and the Nutty Chocolate Brownie with icecream(refer pics). The brownie was sinfully chocolaty and the Brandy snaps with icecream were a perfect accompaniment. The Cheesecake had the right amount of sweetness and probably my favorite. The chef offered a sample of their tender coconut souffle. Was decent ,but a bit too creamy for my palate.

Service: Staff is courteous and friendly. Service is good, but gets a bit slow at times.

Pricing: Just perfect for the food and quality. Starters in the range of 200-250, Mains about 250-300 and the desserts are less than 150 bucks!

This place goes straight into my list of favorites. Highly recommended!

Urge to the management : You guys are doing a great job. More advertising required!

Seriously, no reviews for this place?!!

This is a fine dining restaurant which is a part of the WonderLa’s Luxury Boutique Resort. It is in the same campus as WonderLa, though away from the amusement park which could be the reason why not many are acquainted with it. Take an elongated drive on a holiday and experience this restaurant; there will be no regrets!

Firstly, these guys have a lot to offer you in their carte du jour! Cuisine-wise you have alternatives to try out Indian, Oriental or Continental. The food is worth a mention and the team is very courteous. We tried their Tandoori Veg Platter which can easily suffice 4 people. It had 4 pieces of Harabhara Kebab, 4 pieces of Veg Seekh Kebab, 4 generous slices of barbecued Paneer, and 4 pieces of Tandoori Gobi along with fresh salad. My cousin tried their Golden Fried Squids which she raved about all the while. They were supposedly very crisp on the outside and juicy and succulent as you specked into them. For the main-course, I tried the Aubergine Marinara which I totally recommend to just anyone. It was spiced with the right types of herbs and sauces and cooked to perfection. Tortine De Funghi Nepolitan, which my husband ordered, also seemed exceedingly appetizing. If you get a chance do seek these alternatives!

The Chicken Steak Sizzler could have however been better as my cousin said it wasn’t tender while being cut into. The sauces and accompaniments were flavourful enough alongside. They have several options of cocktails too which we didn’t try that day. But the mocktail, Shirley Temple, which my husband asked for was admirable. I tried their ‘Innocent Passion’ which was a blend of passion fruit, apple and fizz was decent too.

Oh yes, I almost forgot the desserts! Though we were brimful after the main-course and thought of letting-go the desserts, we were surprised by the Chef with some of his signature platters. The coffee tarte and the mango Cheese cake seemed exceptional. I am going to try them on my next visit again. The Rasmalai and Malai Sandwich salver also didn’t impress us any less!

Pros: Delectable food (desserts are to die for!), very extensive options in three different cuisines, First-rate presentation of food, obliging staff, clean and smart decor. There is Ample Parking too. Value for money for quality of food and service you get here.

Cons: Though it is in the same WonderLa’s Campus, it is outside the amusement park and hence the two activities seem tricky to be combined.

Recommended – For Team Lunches/Dinners, or while on a steer to Mysore or back, or official conferences, or just long-drive lunches on weekends!
