Almost all items are good but you must try chicken Biryani which is the best one .I only disappointed with chicken korma which was tasteless and curry was watery seems that we are consuming boiled tasteless chicken

My go-to place for chicken biryani. I've tried biryani from many places in Ranchi but the chicken biryani from Mughal's is my absolute favorite. Not very spicy, full of flavors and the best part is that they have heavenly soft juicy potatoes in their biryani.

If you really want to have Kolkata style Briyani, then this is the place. Briyani is awesome anywhere in Ranchi.However,avoid the accompaniment (raita), will be good for your health.
The ambience is normal. I personally prefer chicken korma as it's still the tastiest dish i tried here. The dishes are approx to the price and the raita provided in the chicken Biryani is just awesome 😍
One chicken roll is enough for a person a good amount of chicken in the roll I am happy with the quality of the food but the chatni was not good at all it was of many days I think soo

Excellent food, must visit to get best food at Ranchi main road. Value for money. Ambiance also cool. Family restaurant. Yummy food to control hunger.
One may say the ambience is a turn off but the food makes up for everything. Gives a very authentic feel to enjoy the food. It is a paradise for non-vegetarians.
Common perception is that they serve beaf but NO they don't. It is one of the most hygenic places I have been to.
Traditionally if you want to enjoy mughalai dishes and don't want it to be a burden on your pocket then Cafe Mughal's is a place to be.

Especially the chicken biryani and chicken angara kebab. Others dishes are also fantabulous and delicious
If one needs a non veg joint which is low in cost and tasty ....this is the one.
I have tried almost all dishes here chicken chaap, chiken tikka, chicken biryani, murg mussallum, and many more.
They all were just finger likin.

A good place for chicken kassa and other gravy based items with tandoori roti. The biryani might be bland for some, especially those who are not used to the west bengal style with potatoes. But the meat is well cooked. As for the ambience, nothing special - usually very crowded during festival time but otherwise a good place with reasonable prices for the student crowd as well.
Food is tasty and probably one of the better restaurants in Ranchi for mughlai cuisine in the economy category. I tried their mutton biryani.Tasted very similar to kolkata biryani with aloo and 3 pieces of meat.Quantity wise no complaints at all. Kababs in this place is average although the tandoori chicken is pretty good.Only big issue is that the food especially biryani is cooked in dalda. Sticks to the plate once the food starts to cool down. This is definitely not a place for health conscious people.
This place serves some really good chicken. You may try the chicken mughlai here. This place is not very well maintained and the ambiance is also not good. Try to order the food from their specialities.
The non-veg food here is awesome. I tried chicken tandoori which was delicately baked and tasted wonderful. Karahi chicken was also yummy. However mutton sheek kabab was not up to the mark as the flavour of garlic overpowered the taste of meat. The chicken Biryani here is pretty good and so is tandoori roti. Tea served here deserves special mention as the same is awesome. In fact it is one of the best places in Ranchi to have tea.
If u don't have money to go to a so called big restaurant, come here. Perhaps the cheapest place in Ranchi to hang out with your friends with plenty of foods. Every item they serve is great in quantity and taste. We have tried almost all varieties of kebabs. All of them were good but the chicken malai kebab was the best of all. Soft, juicy and melts in your mouth. In main course, we ordered mutton biriani and chicken rezala, chicken korma, mutton chaap. Mutton chaap was just awesome. Service is also promt. Only thing lacking here is the ambiance. If u are a college student this is the place to give your birthday treat.

If u r Biriyani Lover and have tasted Biriyani across places like Kolkata and Hyderabad and Lucknow, then while in Ranchi- look no further and head to this place. At times I have personally felt that some dishes are cooked in Dalda; but again there is a catch to it.
If you go through the menu at this place then you would find that the price is really rock bottom if we compare with the quantity. I have had Mutton Biriyani at this place time n over again and its my favourite at this place. They give 3 pieces of mutton in a normal portion along with a boiled egg and rice and roasted potato.
Nowhere would one get this at this kind of price all inclusive of taxes.
I would have given this place a 5/5 had it not been for the interiors. They have AC sitting area but the tables and crockeries are a little shabby. Thats the only drawback.
And they even make amazing teas which they serve in tall glass shaped kulhars.
So if u r in Ranchi and craving for Biriyani then think no further and head to this place.
The ambience may not be that good, but the Mughlai food they serve more than makes up for that! Arguably the best Mughlai food you can get in the city, that too without much of a bargain! Very affordable, and quite good a service.

Easy to reach on main road is one of the best option available for Non Veg lovers . As per Ranchi standard the ambiance is good but don't expect more .
Serve long list of offering but we call for Chicken Chap with Patatha which was awesome and the flavor was very authentic .
Next we ordered for Mutton Biryani which was serve hot and Rice and Mutton was perfectly cooked and just melting in mouth .
The flavor of food had influence from Kolkata .
Last but not the least pl try the tea which they serve in earthen pot and was awesome highly recommended .

I went today. Took chichen biryani and mutton chaap. Really good taste...can compete any big mughlai restaurant. Wanna see some more local customers out there. Think that Ranchi ppl don't like mughlai khana.
The place is clean, hygienic and quiet, so rare in joints of this kind. Ambience is next to nil, and the preparations are a watered-down version of Calcutta Mughlai; they are nowhere near the famed Mughlai of Lucknow or Delhi. The Haleem served during Ramzan is nowhere near the famed Haleem of Hyderabad. Ranchi is unfortunate that not a single restaurant in the city, high end, or low, is able to prepare passable Mughlai dishes. Strangely, this cafe is unable to even prepare a decent mutton kebab. The Mumbaiya Irani tea, however, is appreciable.
Have visited the place several times for lunch. Non-vegetarian dishes are good. Known mostly for its kolkata style biryani. However, many items are not available some of the times. Average ambience but very quick service.
Whenever i get hungry i use to go to cafe mughal's. it is one of the best restaurant in ranchi city and the good things about this restro is it is budget freindly, around 2 to 3 hundreds of rupee you will fully satisfy your stomach. foods are really damn tasty, I loved this restaurant very much.
Best place in ranchi to have economical non-veg food...
No parking for cars. Had to use paid parking last week when we visited for lunch. Plz make available free car parking for customers. As car parking charges are high in the nearby car parkings.
Food is excellent in taste and mughlai taste is the best ingredients used and cooked by experience chefs. Either tandoori or fried, all menu items are mouth watering.

Big space with ample sitting arrangement. We ordered Mutton stew and Mutton Kaliya with tandoori roti, I must say the portion was very good and the meat cuts were big and tender. The staff is polite and very warm and welcoming. Overall nice experience, will visit again.

Awesome food quality and taste both .. we came from USA, tried food in Delhi, Faridabad, Noida and Hyderabad but roasted chicken, mughal's chicken and biryani are the best ones.
Food is awesome here..great quality..must try chicken curry, egg curry, chilli paneer etc..I would recommend to try this place..
