Visited this place few days back. It has a full on desi vibes all around with lots of food options. I had Crispy chilli baby corn which was amazing in taste and its just complemented the weather as you always crave for some spicy crispy food during monsoon.

Visited Moti Mahal Food Truck trail, lalpur. It is one of the very few restaurant in Ranchi with Live On table grill and Barbecue. Food truck trial is one of the hidden jem of ranchi serving delicious buffet at very genuine price. .
I visited Moti Mahal Food Truck trail to attend Kebab festival known as "kebab-e-mahal" a vegetarian kebab festival in which they serve more than 25 types of kebabs.

Service - Average but the head chef is very friendly and come to explain the dishes.
Food - when it comes to moti Mahal we need not any review but being a food blogger I personally liked the quality and presentation of food more than the taste. Taste wise very uthentic flavours.

Great place to have Indian tandoori starters , also has a great ambience with a truck. The buffet is great especially the biryani and sweets.
recently visited this amazing place which serves amazing food, great place to enjoy with family and friends. The live barbecue experience was nice. What makes it even more interesting is that a huge truck is placed in the middle of the restaurant.

Not just like barbeque nation...there is a truck type structure covered a lot of space..
Although food was good..staff's behaviour was also awesome..

Very disappointed. Staff quite untrained. Cat calls customers and acts very rude. Me and my friends were called ‘stubborn’ right in front of our faces. And when I checked poor staff in their feedback form, the same guy who called us stubborn had the audacity to say he didn’t hear anybody call us anything and asked me to rewrite the feedback form. A similar instance happened when I visited the last time with my family. The food is good but would definitely not recommend going because of the staff’s behaviour. I’m not saying every staff member was bad, some were really nice, even greeted us after the feedback, but there are some staff members who give a cold shoulder.

They do maintain the authenticity of a proper moti mahal restaurant. But they the lack abundance which is expected out of a buffet place. Importance to quality over quantity is given here equally important. The huge truck in the middle of restaurant makes the place little more exciting

Moti mahal foodtruck trail has been opened for 5 months but still not many people know about it so it remains empty most of the time. We visited there on a sunday afternoon and believe me we were the only 2 people eating there for the entire 2 hours, no other guest came but plenty of zomato guys came for picking up online food order. So i guess getting table on peak hours will be not a problem and the dining area is also large so group dining is also possible. Its a buffet only restaurant, live grill on the table for starters and main course and desserts are on the buffet spread. The stewards and manager looked after us pretty well, they were attentive to our needs all the time and enquired several time about the food quality, they were ready to prepare food according to the choice of the guests which is great. We opted for non veg buffet, cost rs 749 plus GST. on sunday the starters served were peri peri chicken tikka, fish tikka, lasuni prawn, mutton seekh kabab,,chicken tandoori wings, egg chilly, chicken chilly, all were good, specially loved the fish tikka and egg chilly. chicken manchow soup was also tasty. One soft drink/mocktail was complimentary, we took blue lagoon which was superb. Main course buffet had mutton rogan josh, butter chicken, chilly chicken, chicken biryani, chicken fried rice, dal makhani, rajma rasila, shahi paneer, veg noodles, punjabi aloo, they were also good, special mention goes for butter chicken, tremendously tasty it was. Naan/roti/paratha to be served on the table as per customers demand. Dessert had gulab jamun, gulabi kheer, mango custard, assorted pastry and 3 types of ice cream. All those tasty items in unlimited quantity only at rs 749 along with the good behaviour of the staffs really made my day. Loved the restaurant very much and I would suggest everyone to go there atleast for one time, you wont be disappointed..

Staff was very friendly.
Food was delicious.

I went to Moti Mahal, having hopes that it would meet the standard of the other Tandoor Trail in the city. To my astonishment, it was better than that!
It is easily the best restaurant in Ranchi! It has delicious kababs, and an exotic main cource.
I remember the biryani being of many types and quite awesome.
What I thoroughly loved was the concept of open grill that added an extra satisfaction in spending money here.
Moti Mahal Foodtruck trail offers one of the cheapest buffet systems in Ranchi with one of the best varieties and quality of the food they serve.

The buffet had an awesome spread. We had the non veg starters which had various varieties of chicken and fish along with prawns and mutton seekh kebab. The main course also was good at taste and once again offered a wide variety. The fish was just superb - melt in the mouth preparation. We loved it! Moong daal halwa was the star of the dessert, a delicious preparation.
The ambience also is good. Overall a great place to be. Will definitely visit again and recommend others as well!!

This is the first only buffet restaurant in Ranchi. The ambience is really good. The service is great.
They have a live grill section for starters and a buffet counter for the mains and dessert.
For starters they have a prawn tikka, chicken tikka, mutton seekh kebab, fish tikka, chicken roast, chili chicken, American corn salt n pepper, grilled pineapple, mushroom, etc. All the starters are quite good.
We had a chicken hot n sour soup which wasn't good at all.
For main course there was a chicken tikka masala, mutton keema, chicken biryani, fish in oyster sauce, egg fried rice, paneer lababdar, dal makhani, noodles and a few other dishes as well.
All the dishes prepared were nice.
For dessert, there was ice cream, Ras malai, custard and chane ki daal ka halwa.
With a great variety and some good dishes, this place is great value for money( especially for those who have a large appetite). I wouldn't say the food was great but it was quite good. The only bad thing was the soup.
Overall a nice experience.
Everytime I visit the atmosphere is mind-blowing. This was my fourth time and everything was fantastic but today the place was crowded and the service was not as good as always. I recommend to visit this place on weekdays

This is a place very similar to BBQ Nations. But in a more authentic way. Not very pocket friendly but the food is delicious. Buffet is for rupees 799 and you may opt to order other items. Service is well enough and quick but I think the waiters aren't very professional in serving.

The quality is just amazing and the ambience is serene and jolly. Buffet for lunch operates till 5 pm they may extend it till 5:30 but after that you'll have to go a la carte which is just as good. Price per person for buffet is 750 plus taxes and the options are fair but not ridiculously eclectic.

You have to pay a certain amount per person and then get unlimited food. Live barbecue as starters and then main course buffet. Price is very reasonable. It's like Barbecue nation but cheaper. Food was delicious but some of the waiters were a bit arrogant. The manager is very nice and also the chef. Had a fun experience.
