This is one of those places where you will find the vibes of your granny's ancestral home. Everything cooked in slow cooking method over wooden fire and clay utensils. Food was served on brass utensils and pattal. Very rustic homely atmosphere. Will visit there again and again. No extra oil, no extra spice.. It's not only super tasty and very healthy too.. If you want to detoxify yourself from regular restaurants then definitely visit here and have a meal that will touch your soul with the subtle flavours and taste.

I am very impressed with the food and concept. The location too is quiet and apt for a peaceful lunch. However, the price is very high as compared to the quantity. The portions and the size of the pieces were small. If they improve this, i would love to go back.

Yes to more places like this! Super impressed by Aruna Tirkey and her generosity in sharing knowledge about food with us. Every dish was special and delicious and clearly made and served with love. I would come here again everytime I am in Ranchi.

So, visited this place after being recommended by few people. To start with, when you enter the restaurant you will be greeted by a lady with a line JOHAR SIR/ MADAM. The food was good as i ordered few dishes namely Pakoda, Rice, Mutton and all. They were served following the tribal tradition. Although it's little costly, but yeah we liked it. One time visit to explore the tribal culture can be perfectly fine.

Authentic delicious tribal food served here. Fantastic service speed. Ambience is great. The owner and the staff are so polite. The owner has established the restaurant, has great knowledge of tribal cuisine and is trying to preserve these nutritious dishes. She also explains the components of each dish and how it's nutritional value. Overall, a wonderful experience

Good taste for local food, you can try out, also pocket friendly, ₹200/- per person for non veg meals including rice tea and local drinks (rice beer). Over all a good place for home cooked dishes in traditional flavour.

If you are a foodie and have hunger to try some Jharkhandi cuisine in a very Desi style then Ajam Emba is the must visit place for you. You'll certainly have a different feeling than the rest common restaurants available in the city.

This is a one of a kind restaurant that you must visit if you are in Ranchi. Really honest food. The menu has everything for everyone. We visited twice to try out as much items as possible. Their mutton, mushroom, dhuska, chutneys, chilkas all taste home cooked, no restaurant masalas are used, only authentic Adivasi ingredients, very tasty and easy on the tummy. Staff are warm and hospitable and will explain to you everything about the menu. Service is quick. Price too, seems very reasonable to me. I will suggest if you ever crossing near Ranchi you should even take a detour to try out this place.
