I was craving for desi food in rishikesh so I came across this one! Veryyy cheap food..I ordered a thali! The quantitywas sufficient for one adult and one kid. The food was fresh and tasted like it should. I loved the kadhi and paneer the most.

Don't forget to try veg dosa and all types of dosa's
My favorite was south Indian thali .

My favourite place in Rishikesh! Best naan, best service, best everything! It's clean, fast, cheap and good quality. I've been coming here the last 6 years, I tried the whole menu because I can go there every single day. I go to other places, but I also end it up there because they're truly the best. The whole family is amazing, everything single guy is brilliant in what they do. Maybe they don't know, but they're like a family to me. I feel safe, seen and very comfortable, that's why I always bring new people there. They deserve to be recognised for so much love and care 🙏🏼💜
The best Naan in Rishikesh. I’m told this is also one of the oldest restaurants. I recommend getting the set platter which comes with an assortment of chutneys, rice, and raita. I got the cashew curry and it was also delicious. The garlic butter naan is a must! You won’t see many tourists here.

We went on very next day of Diwali, even due to shortage of staff owner did well in managing things quite well.
We ordered for Deluxe thali as recommended by one of the reviewer.
Very delicious and it's enough for 2 persons.
You can also try sweet lassi and chaas.
Located on Lakshman Jhula road, clean and safe to eat your food on a reasonable price. We tried Special thali meals which is really tasty and tummy filler. Also had a sweet Lassi which is refreshing. We also had Kadai Panneer along with Butter Roti, should try it. Friendly staff and service is also good. Recommended spot near Lakshman Jhula which saves your pocket.
This place is very good both in terms of cost effectiveness and taste. We had Masala dosa (Rs 90), matar paneer (Rs 130) and tawa roti (Rs 10 per piece). All of the items were very delicious. This place is located close to lakshman jhula just after the shortcut path to jhula when you are going there. This place is fit for people who want to have a nice meal preferably dinner at an affordable price.
Great food so much value for money!
I like the atmosphere personally,because of simplicity of Indian Street food restaurant. If you expecting view or luxuries this is not the place though.

A great bunch of lads. Great food and great service. We've been on the road 6 weeks in India and this was one of our favourite spots for local food at local prices.
We had butter masala dhosa, Price is pocket friendly but coconut chatni was not so good, if you eating dhosa for chatni only. This place not for you 😅

Quality!! We ate here almost everyday for 10 days. This was one of the best curries we have had in India! It’s a pretty friendly environment and we were happy to eat there most nights. Recommended for anyone looking for an authentic Indian meal :)
Masala dosa and masala chai were both really good and good prices (dosa 100 INR and chai 30 INR). Kitchen is open, so you can see your food being freshly prepared and everything looked very clean.
Most cheap and best freshly cooked food in Rishikesh... A must try here opposite of the car stand near Laxman jhula... The thali's are the best combo for refill and dining... From morning to night it's fully loaded with people... A simple Bengali thali is 140 per plate... With extra aloo bhaja the killer item of their menu...
