I had Chicken Nawabi Biryani here. It was good and spicy as I wanted but would have felt worth the money with better ambience. However, there is nothing to take away from the taste of their biryani. They really do make one of the best biryanis in Rourkela. It doesn't fall under the spotlight as it is not located along the main road. Also, the place is not ideal for a single person to dine at. I got confused with the location of this restaurant during my first visit as the title board of the restaurant is located inside the Rainbow Regency building which makes it difficult for the people who come across to spot.
This place is really amazing for tasty food. I love to visit it again.I recommend you for spicy taste.

I am a pure non vegetarian so whenever I visit a city I look for the restaurant which offers the best of non vegetarian delicacies and in Rourkela, Odisha it was Daawat Restaurant.
The biryani here is just out of the world. The quality of the food and the service provided is amazing. The dishes were prepared with proper care with great balance of flavors and spices.
I highly recommend Daawat to anyone looking for delicious Indian cuisine at Rourkela.

I have not visited dawat but where are stayed at Rourkela dawat restro was inside of it(rainbow regency) so I order biryani for dinner, taste was ok ok,
Best restaurants so far to eat biriyanis or Chinese everything on their menu tast best and food price is also affordable great place with good staff

Excellent mughlai food, Very large area to cover maximum number of people. Parking place also excellent. Staff and management is very friendly and cooperative.
