less quantity but good taste
Have been a regular customer of Rang Rasiya and the food never disappoints. I usually order in rather than going to the restaurant. The complimentary salad that comes along is always fresh unlike other restaurants which either don't provide it at all or keep it pre packed.
5 stars to Rang Rasiya.
I am surprised to see such a low rating on this restaurant. First the ambience, its very different from the traditional restaurant, more of a rajasthani village but very painstakingly done, i definitely liked the ambience. I had ordered thalis, every item was awsome. A must try. The owner himself takes a lot of attention to ensure service is good.

The food is great....I think that the service can be better...overall the thali is good but I think the can work on the dal,curry..
It's a good one time affair
Ambience is good... village like... food is tasty and affordable...Service was quick.. so advisable for travellers and locals who would love to have a quick bite. The thaali was good with tasty food....a la carte menu was authentic Rajasthani/Gujarati food,. Must visit for people looking for pure vegetarian food at an affordable price....
10 roti khayi! Maza aa gaya. :D
The rural ambience is pleasant. Food was super tasty.
Good for dining alone, as well as with groups.
Next time I'll try Thali.
It's an amazing place for Rajasthani and Gujarati Food !
The ambience is so nice...Just like a typical village...the seating arrangement is good, good service provided by the people of "Rangrasiya". 😊
Went yesterday and ate Rajasthani Thali...which was so good 😊
Good place to go with family dinner and lunch...The Rava Dhokhla was the best part of the Thali !!
Had one of the best paneer butter masala. The taste was awesome and the service was quick and easy. All items were available when asked for.
Their Spl Tali is too good. We've enjoyed Dal bhati churma, Dal kichidi and few other food delicacies from Rajasthan and Gujrat.
Value for money and authentic dishes. Ambience Is just ok.
Good food and relaxing environment, everything from head to toe has been given very deep thinkn and dedication to this place, staff is very friendly and food is very yummy.. located in the hear of the city to won the heart of city ppl..

hiii sir gud evening this is rang rasiya happy diwali u and your family........thankyou
we are waiting your visit...................................................................................
The place is vibrant with colorful window panes, rustic furnishings, village theme and some ghoomar music! They have a pre set menu of Rajasthani/Gujrati thalli where they try to make minor changes to the menu everyday.
The food spread is huge and the variety they serve is mind blowing!
2 types of welcome drink, 4 types of starters,4 types of curry,4 types of dal, daal batti churma,4 types of rice, assorted roti basket and 3 types of dessert.
With such an extensive menu they DID miss out on taste here and there but overall they managed to charm us!
Fantastic place for veg lovers. You will find different delicious Taste's. Super service and nice ambiance. food is so good pure Rajasthan. Foodies can enjoy a lot.
The first step to getting inside the colorful atmosphere of Rang Rasiya is to find a place to park. Built right behind the signature biryani place of Hyderabad - Paradise, Rang Rasiya is jostling for place; ableit on the first floor, alongside India's omnipresent clutter champions - street hawkers, randomly parked cars and bikes, cobblers, vendors and several cattle thrown in. The complexion and mood of the locality is just very Indian.
Coming here for the first time is a wondrous experience . Like a magician pulls random objects out of hat while the expectant audience have no clue about what is coming, food arrives in courses and in perfect quantities. While the foodie in you is trying to soak in the tastes and also make mental notes about which Gujarati/Rajasthani dish you have just eaten, the waiters keep the dishes moving in, swiftly and with purpose. Food is tasty and flavorful. The thalis throw in generous mix of traditional drinks, rotis, rice items and an assortment of curries and other accompaniments and last but not least with the sweet dish(es). Come here hungry and be prepared to get pampered by the best vegetarian food.
Coming here a second time takes the novelty off but if you look good vegetarian food, you will enjoy repeat visits. The decor and cutlery are thoughtfully done and even as Indians, the experience is quite refreshing and wholesome. It would be wonderful to bring some of our friends from overseas to this place to give them a taste (pun intended) of some authentic Indian food, hospitality and ambience.
Food is very tasty...
Serving need to be improved....
Worth for money....
Karaoke singer will take back u into 80's..nice for a weekend dinner...
I went to this place with much excitement, and it served me right. It can be easily located. Starting from the design of Name to Hospitality till the end everything is too good. Ambience of this place makes you awestruck, it surely is different from similar themed restaurants, Coming to food, few items were lip smacking, Like, Dal Baati, and Samosa. Big shout out to staff. Everything was so perfect. One stop for all vegetarians.

Rang Rasiya is a very beautifully Gujurati and Rajasthani themed restaurant with delicacies of this cuisines. I was here to taste their huge thali. Overall a a very beautiful themed place with some amazing veg food and variety of options. Priced at 299+ taxes this place is worth a try and veggies paradise. Do check there menu before visiting the place as they have different menu on different days.
We went here for lunch and ordered thalis. The taste was good.
The limited thali has some items less from the unlimited thali like the dhokla, kebab , chat starters, daal baati and one sabzi. But I expected to have the khichdi in the limited thali too. I think only jeera rice in a gujrati/rajasthani thali makes it incomplete (at least for me).
Otherwise the experience was quite good. Service it good too.
#FoodTastingSession #OnTheHouseMeal
Happen to visit this place for a food tasting session with a group of foodie friends to try out the all veg Rag Rasiya located on PG Road near Sindhi Colony. Since most of my gastronomic journey has been majorly in and around Hitec City, Jubilee and Banjara Hills, so coming all the way over to this place was an experience in it self.
Rang Rasiya as the name signifies vibrance and radiance and this place in its own capacity signifies the same though there is nothing very humongous in terms of place, size or magnitude but still its quite decent and most importantly worth the money.
They have a set lunch and dinner menu that keeps changing by the day priced at ₹ 299 it consists of various items and is served like a sitting buffet
1. Chaas and Litchi Sharbat
2. Salads
3. Kothmir Wadi & White Dhokla
4. Mains: Paneer Butter Masala, Mixed Veg, Allo Fry, Dal Tadka, Marwadi & Gujarati Kadhi
5. Dal Bati Churma and Tikki Chaat
6. Breads & Rice- Fhulka, Black Teel Roti, Lemon Rice and Masala Khichdi
7.Dessert - Coconut Barfi & Malai Bread.
Food wise this place is quite impressive and in all fairness I personally did not have very high expectations until I visited this place, at the price point they are transacting viz a vi the portions and variety they serve this place is definitely up for a consideration, Vegetarian Folks would definitely love this place even more.
Ambiance & Service: Very subtle ambiance looks like a small village, nothing over the top or down under going exactly in sync with the place. Service staff is very welcoming and proactive and for this my special Kudos to the management for the fine training imparted to them.
Over all it was a great experience, had a wonderful time and some real amazing scrumptious food. Cheers.. !!
PS: Mighty thanks to Ms. Rashmi & Mohd Zubair Ali (Hyderabad.Food.Diaries) for having us over and making our visit worth the time and travel. :-)
Pictures coming soon :)
Really happy with the food and service. The place is located in the bylanes of sindhi colony and very well maintained. They have really goof thali and ala carte menu. i opted for a thali which was a fixed menu. They have a new menu almost every day. The ambinace was typical rajasthani and loved the seating arrangement. Food quality and quantity was excelent. couldnt complete the whole thali. I will visit the place again to try ala carte menu.
Rang rasiya! My first rajasthani & Gujarathi food experience in hyderabad.
I am not a big fan of veg food and especially gujarathi and rajasthani, but this was quite surprising and loved the food.
Was here a while back with our usual gang of foodies whose company i love the most when visiting such places and trying new food. They had invited us over with a special menu for a food session and to let us know how we liked the food.
Firstly, the ambience of this place reminds me of those old dhabas in the north with village decorations and traditional folklore kinda designs. This place is exactly that way and has an interesting concept as such. Having said that, the place is quite confortable to sit and have food and the decor and interior is amazing with lots of wood and artwork.
The food! The menu was kicked off with sharbats. Chaas and litchi sharbat, both having their own great taste and quite different from the usual mocktails and milkshakes we have every other day. Veg snacks were white dhokla and kothmir vada. Loved both of them and tasted really good.
Moving on to the maincourse, lots of curries here just the way gujrathis and rajasthanis prefer their food to be. Mixed veg curry, paneer masala, aloo curry all of them being allright and not so spicy.
The pulkas were soft and when tasted with ghee were the best roti/pulka i have had in a while. Black til roti is kinda similar to jowar roti a bit hard but goes good with curry. Rice papads and masala papads are worth the try.
Dal tadka, gujrathi and marwadhi kadhi were totally new for me and i had these for the first time. Not a big fan but they were okay.
The masala khichdi was something i looked forward to and it was quite soft had a good aroma. Dal bhati churma is quite an interesting dish which has ghee, jaggery and dal. Its again new for me but enjoyed it very much.
The staff and service: The staff was every bit patient and serving food whenever asked for. They are a happy bunch and don't mind answering to questions about the food. No complaints here.
Food: 4/5
Ambience: 4/5
Service: 4.5/5
Been here recently with a friend of mine who wanted to try some veg food, Got to know abt this place by a foodie friend zubair Ali. While it was a dinner i visited them , the place was almost full. We got the table as soon as we arrived. Ambiance was something which surprised me, Very beautifully set up with a proper village kind of look. Very vibrant and colorful all across. They had a fixed menu for dinner. we went ahead with it. Food was being served in huge thalis and the servers were were humble. I liked the way they were describing every dish before they served. A very decorated place with good food and staff.
This is unexpected and yes it's good.Try this ,if you want to have a different taste of the food .It is not purely Gujarati Thali meal though ,as my Gujarati friend said so.They have the village ambiance and it's good.Should improve the Gaajar halwa tastes.Overall,it is good.
Rang Rasiya, is probably my first ever authentic Rajasthani/Gujarati cuisine experience. went to this place for dinner with my usual foodie group. So they have a set lunch special menu and dinner special menu that keeps changing each day. we went ahead and ordered their set dinner special menu which is priced at Rs.299/- per person and it comprises of -
1.Mocktails - *Chaas and *Litchi Sharbat
2.Snacks(Farsan) - *Kothmir vada *white Dhokla
3.Main Course - *Panner Butter Masala *Mixed Veg *Aloo curry *Dal Tadka *Gujarati kadhi *Marwadi kadhi *Lemon rice *Masala Khichdi
4.Special dishes - *Dal Bati Churma *Veg Tikki chat
5.Breads - *Phulka *Black til roti
6.Dessert - *Coconut Barfi *Malai Bread.
I Honestly liked everything that i've tasted especially because of the way they were all served to us systematically one after the other in an order similar to how a Rajasthani or Gujarati meal is generally eaten.
The decor was beautiful,I spent time looking at all the efforts they've made to create the whole village essence and environment. I love their tableware and cutlery it just adds the whole Rajasthani/Gujarati element. The most fascinating thing for me was the hand wash, we basically had to wash our hands while the waiter was pouring water from a jug into another brass container. So its small things like these that made me like this place even more. The staff here are amazing, I love the fact that they mentioned the names of every dish before they were serving it to us.
I had a great experience here and loved the place purely because I felt that they did justice to the cuisine. Thanks for having us over and again thank you Zubair for the invite.
Rang Rasiya was perhaps the first vegetarian tasting session I was invited to In Hyderabad. The place is known to serve Rajasthani and Gujrati food and after my visit to Jaipur I have become a fan of the cuisine so I was excited to go.
The place is small and very colourful when it comes to decor with the brass thalis setup on the tables. They only have a full course thali which comprises of chhaas and lichi sherbat as drinks.
The starters were the kothmir wadi and dhokla. I preferred the former both with taste as it was this cube of vegetable cake and also the texture as it was crispy and rich. The dhokla was below par for me.
The main course had paneer butter masala, fried alu, dal, two kandhis (both Rajasthani and Gujrati) mixed veg, the signature daal baati churma and of course til ki roti and phulka with ghee to go with it. This was accompanied with fried papad an khichia. The daal bati churma was good but could be better if you have tasted native Rajasthani food. I had a lot of chhaas as it was nice too. Among the veggies I missed the gatte ki sabji but on asking they said they keep changing the menu. They also served the khichadi which was okaish but it was more the south indian version than a true marwari one. In the end, the food was decent, not super spicy and filling.
For desserts we had coconut barfi and malai bread. They were okay but it is a request from my end to keep the amazing ghee fried jalebi with rabri. I was left craving for that.
Overall coming to the place for the price of 299 its a pretty good deal and Im sure lovers of the Rajasthani cuisine will give it a try as it certainly brings you someway closer to the food you have there. I rate it as 3.5/5
This is one of the few pure veg restaurants in the city newly opened fine dining restaurant. This is an apt place to take your family. They have a set menu which is a combination of Rajasthani Gujarati cuisine. Most of the menu is really good apart from very few, however the size of the place is really small and they may have a tough time managing when the word of mouth spreads for them. Even now I found they had a hard tome managing just the few tables though the support staff always serves you with a smile on their faces. Dum aloo (main course),aloo bonda (starter), chole (main course) and aamras (starter) are definitely worth a try. Overall a great place to spend some quality time with your family and even Mon vegetarians wont be disappointed with the taste of the food.
Pure Vegetarian Restaurant in Sindhi Colony…was invited for a tasting session with a group of food loving friends….They basically serve Rajasthani food…The interiors are village style and the ambience is pretty soothing….
Food is served in a huge Thali, just for 299/- you can enjoy unlimited full-fledged meal with variety of dishes…
Mocktails – Chhaas and Lichi Sharbat…
Salad – Varieties of salad and chutneys were served.
Farsan – Kothmir Wadi and White Dhokla…I liked the Kothmir Wadi a lot…I asked for few more of it…So it is a brownie looking wada…but very crispy and rich taste of spices makes it worth having 2-3 pieces of it…
Mains - Paneer Butter Masala, Mixed Veg, Aloo Fry, Dal Tadka, Marwari Kadhi, Gujarati Kadhi with Phulka (loads of ghee on it)…Plus Masala Khichdi….and something special Daal Baati Churma…Daal Baati Churma was pretty good if you don’t compare it with other places…I liked Aloo fry, mixed veg and khichdi….Khichdi was really good…
Sweets – Coconut Barfi and Malai Bread…Liked the coconut barfi, texture was very smooth and was melting in my mouth…
Overall veg experience was good enough….Good deal too for the price it is being offered!!
Thanks to Zubair for invitation and Rashmi and her team for taking care of us!!
Rang rasiya as the name says the ambience is so colourful and super tasty food. Thali is a combination is Gujrathi and Rajasthani and I should say each dish is yummlicious. Highlight of the entire Thali is their Palak Paneer and hot hot Kala Jamun!!! Not to forget the price is not heavy on your pockets. They have live music on weekends, it seemed little annoying at start but once you start digging into food you will forget everything...

I was planning to have lunch with a friend who is vegetarian, and we were weighing the different options in the city. Rang Rasiya was trending on my Facebook that day, as a few friends had gone there on the previous night. So, we zeroed in on this place, and landed up here on a Saturday afternoon.
The place served Rajasthani thalis as well as a-la-carte veg food. There are two versions of the thali - a mini thali at Rs 175 and a full thali at Rs 299 all inclusiveI. We ordered for a full thali and were pretty satisfied with the meal.
The thali has about 20 items, served in phases. Aam panna was the welcome drink, and Chaach or butter milk was the accompaniment to the meal. The highlights for my meal was Dal Baati (I do not like churma much), the paneer curry, and the Rajasthani Kadhi. Rotis with ample ghee were perfect with the vegetables served. The dessert served was Gajar Ka Halwa.
The place is decorated like a Rajasthani hamlet. I would not say that this was an extraordinary experience, but definitely a simple meal at value for money pricing.
Visit my chronicles at:
Gujrati/Marwadi thali @ Rang Rasiya, PG Road. Nice ambience. Food was good..they had Aamras puri, Gajar ka halwa as desserts.
Kadhi was of 2 types..gujrati & punjabi along with some awsome khichadi. The phulkas were served hot with ghee, which went well with the paneer & aloo subzis. Dahiwada was good too.Overall a good experience..thali is priced @ 300 all inclusive.
The place is good... ambience is nice... for a sunday afternoon the place was too quite... Coming to food, its tasty but it needs to be served hot... Service could have been better given that 50% of the restaurant was vacant... Overall at 3.5 for decent sunday afternoon lunch time... 😊
This resturant is quite new located in legend crystal mall behind sunshine hospital OP block in pg road..
Decor is colourful and peppy keeping in mind a village atmosphere ..
Thali is their USP .its a combination of gujarati and rajasthani cuisine and taste excellent..
A good resturant for lovers of such cuisine...
Very nice place for family and group of friends...visit only when you are actually hungry to grab all the dishes and enjoy them...

Starts with Rajasthani style Manuhaar, then jeera chhach and Rose waster and Authenticate Rajasthani food. Overall ambience was also good. Good to go for Rajasthani food.
Toooooo goood !!!!
Ambience + hospitality + presentation + taste ...
Right from the welcome drink to the dessert everything was simply good. Went there for pleasure and I just got it right. Stomach full and most importantly heart full..
Way to Rang Rasiya
Amazing hospitality..
Good food.. best thing is u dont have to think wat to eat.. set menu for everyone..

Nice place n good food. Ambience is also good that of a village theme. There was a live singer as well. Overall must try at the price point it serves. Those not customary to authentic gujrati/rajasthani cuisine may not like it though.
The restaurant is fine dining with a spectacular theme. Food is tasty and organised place. Good service . Affordable and families can have good time .
Very clean . While searching for a pure veg restaurent for lunch we accidently found it on our way. we visited it on 20th december for lunch . The food was awesome. The rajasthani rotis and gujrati curries were the best . The lassi was good. The sweets -rasgulla and gulab jamun were also good . The ambience was excellent . They kept on asking us for what we wanted . they were very polite to the customers. All the rajasthani and gujrati cusine lovers must visit this place once.
Very Very Very Good... We recently heard about this restaurant and wanted to give a try... so went there today(4 Dec 2015) and had lunch with our family and here is what i have to say about this Restaurant
Ambience -
Great ambience and beautifully done interiors with lots of Rajasthani n Gujurati monuments n items placed ..They also have charpai seats(comfortable too)... even though the restaurant is not so big in terms of space but the way they have done the interiors....it looks awesome...
Food:
The Thali was a mix of Gujurati & Rajasthani food.... Initially they served starters ..they were amazing ... then Chaas(Butter milk) very good... and tasty phulkas - jawar roti- with some good curry as well.... They also served khichdi which was very very good...Pricing is also very nominal...i wud say pocket friendly just 250 bugs....Food was very good...
Play Area: They have small play area for children even though its a small restaurant they made sure they created a small play area for children... Awesome Idea & great execution
Staff:
The staff here at the restaurant was very courteous and they were also taking care of the children while we were having food....the waiters also force to you try food items while serving(as our family members do when we have guests at home :-) )
Overall a big competitor to other Rajasthani food offering hotels... but i wud highly recommend this all who love Rajasthani n Gujurati Thali food....
Just loved the ambience - the village setup. On the food front, paisa wasool! Yummy. Service is also good, good hosts I must say :) :) ;) (Y)
Good thali.. Service is very nice.. Everything was served in small quantities but multiple times.. Price is good.. Best part they bring a jug of water to wash your hand..
An ethnic and traditional village ambiance with Marwari and Gujrathi dishes at a really affordable price ( Rs 250 for lunch ).
They start with lemon juice and butter milk which I think is the USP of the place. The starters include dhoklas kachoris and chana pakoras. I found the dhoklas average and chana pakoras, you can't eat just one.
They server fulkas and bajre-ki-roti and curries change on rotational basis with Paneer being a standard one which was not spicy but tasty. The same goes for chana curry . Dal was tasty as heaven. Khadi was sour, didn't like it. Dal baati, the traditional madu food was extremely delicious. In the rice section, you have plain rice, jeera rice and khichdi which were all good, especially the jeera rice and dal combo. In the deserts section, they had gulab jamun which tasted yuck and rabdi-chawal which was palatable !
Oh ! The service was incredibly awesome and real quick with no limits to any food item. Overall I'd rate it
Ambiance : 8.5/10
Service : 9/10
Food : 8/10
Value for money : 9/10
Food was just awesome......With a beautiful Village ambience......Specially the Thali design was outstanding.....Its a Paradise for Vegis......Altogether an amazing experience
It is very good restro go once u knw full thali system rajesthani &gujrati items availble dal bati wheat roti sabzi thepla khadi all items r soo tasty decor also very good its like dhola ri dhani must go
It's a must visit place.. lovely ambience.. so many varieties of dishes.. Mr. Mukesh (the manager) has managed to work really well to look after the service as well as the quality of the food..
Amazing place! The concept and all is just mind blowing!!
Beautiful ambience and service 😍
