Yesterday, I and my mom visited the hotel we ordered a biriyani and a north indian thali. The rice didn’t baked in good manner in biriyani. The paneer in paneer butter masala i think so its 200000 years old i think. We didnt had a clue whether its a new paneer or an old one since its soft. From early morning 1 we are suffering with vomitings and food poisoning. Due to the great great quality of PANEER OF 2000000 years old nd rice of 9999999999 years old. This is a good place for afternoon lunch ,evening supper and dinner. This can be called a "family place" cuz the ambience is just okish, service just serves the needs😅.<br/>The USP is the palatable food!!. Sri sai ratna is more of a udupi style hotel which is well known for tiffins in the vicinity of ECIL for many years.On a lazy sunday afternoon ,we have tried out their special thali which included Butter naan, Alu mutter,Paneer butter masala ,Veg manchuria, Veg pulav,Dal,sambar,rasam,masala papad and gulabjamun.one can say this as a semi northindian-southindian thali which they named it as special thali .It is a good deal to have this meal for RS170/_but the taste was just okay especially the curries were too bland without spiciness eventhough they look colourful.Service was damn slow they took almost 40minutes to serve the thali.

Its not a good place to hangout with frnds of big gang, just have food and leave place, ac wont work , just adjust with fan some times, main purpose to visit this place is no tax but the food cost will be same as compared with other restaurnts, food also taste same but u can skip tax. U wont have all food that is in menu , a common food like biryani, roti ,curries and cool drink thats it.

This is again one such place I have been visiting since childhood. It gives me a nostalgic feel, even now, while writing this. South Indian food here has always been a favorite, especially the giant 70MM dosa.😊 Chat is another such one. North Indian and Chinese were decent. Ambience is OK. Service is usually quick. Value for money is anyday great. But, Since, the change in Management, quality has drastically fallen. It's nothing like before. Worth a visit? May be no.

What do you do when you wake up really really late but still have to make it on time to class/work? Head to SAI RATNA! Sai Ratna has a/c and non-a/c sections. For the non a/c sections, you could either site down and dine or head straight to the cashier and eat there standing. Sai Ratna even offers chat and juice which are decent. All said and done, Sai Ratna is average at best, but the quality and finesse has been reducing since the years and the place certainly has scope to improvement. The sambar needs improvement and so does the Upma. As i said in the beginning, if you are looking for a quick bite or a tiffin, Sai Ratna is not a bad option, but not a great one either.

Firstly the dishes (not meals) are sunk in oil and secondly the serving staff never forget to ask for some extra tips with the reasoning that they served you extra rice. If you are looking for a place that is in and around ecil ans a.s.rao.nagar then this is the place to be. The food is tasty with lot of open space seating. Right on the main road though, the place is still clean. The hospitality of the staff is awesome and prices are close to budget in comparision with other restaurants. Recently I have seen staff fighting with the customers on multiple occasions. I go here regularly but I have seen them shouting on customers.

We used to have our breakfast here during our college days. This reaturant even has an outside seating where south Indian tiffins, chat and juice are served. This is a good place to have refreshment within Ecil area and also very easy to locate where it is located exactly near the Ecil circle beside small Sai Baba temple.<br/>This restaurant is more of value for money, the prices are low compared to other restaurants nearby. Ambience is average and service is very fast. We ordered special thali here where we were served the tomato soup first along with the roasted papad which is good and after that we got our Thali with three types of north Indian curries, two butter naans, Dal, a cup of veg Manchurian, Sambhar, rasam, curd, one gulab jamun, a cup of veg biryani along with raitha. All the recipes are good and decent but not excellent. Even they serve a scoop of icecream finally. All these were costed rupees 210 for 2 including taxes. I never expected that the food there would be so delicious even though the dishes served by them were the same which we eat in our home on a daily basis. Open house restaurant. Typically know for its quick snack break location. Many commuters are ought to be seen having their snacks and hot beverages. Not know for its hygienic conditions but for its taste.<br/><br/>I felt that pesarattu is good with little bit roasted and extra onions. Boost is also well made, as I prefer to have milk with boost at these kind of locations. Can't reason out why.<br/><br/>Two-wheeler is preferred for parking reasons. If want to have a peaceful atmosphere, avoid this place on weekends and on Thursday evenings, as there is SAI BABA temple by the side and is full of crowd around.<br/><br/>South-Indian meals take-away can be a good option to justify the pricing. Small place but yet nice restaurant in ECIL vicinity for south Indian menu. I occasionally visit this restaurant if my dinner comprises of breakfast menu. Usually crowded during saturday evenings, so avoid visiting on the weekends as you might not like the pace of the service. There is further scope of improvement and it can become the best if they can maintain certain upgraded standards compared to restaurants like minerva coffee house or Chutneys.
