Ordered on Zomato. The best Alfredo chicken pasta I had in the city. Everything good about it, creamy, succulent pieces of chicken, enough quantity. Just delicious.
The best thing about this place is the way it is. Pure. The owner is absolutely friendly and treats you like atithi Devo bhava. He explains you the effort behind in choosing the menu and quick to take feed back. The lime cake is absolutely divine. May I add the brownies which are a sure killer. Must visit the place for a real foodie experience both from the customer and receiving end.
Mama Mia Italia a brand originated from the idea of a returned NRI couple Sastry & #Veena way back in 2013 if I am not wrong .. Infact a fare research went in with a travel to states to get the traditional touch.. May be one of those few brands that started baking breads, pizzas in a brick oven wood fired pizza over that time period ..
If you ask me what difference does it makes from a oven pizza to wood fired baked pizza ?
In Simple terms pizza baked from wood fired brick oven hold more nutritional values and has got a smokey note..
Besides, their cakes, churros & garlic bread are definitely a must to try ..!

Went to this place some weeks back in a lazy sunday afternoon after getting to know this is the only place service Churros in Secundrabad!
The owners were so sweet, they personally attended us, and even told us about the back story of these dishes.
Located in Sainikpuri, this is situated in the main road in a underground type place. Its a small place,with minimum decor, but still had that cozy feel to it!
We had:

♥ Veg Lasagna: It was a veg once, but tasted delicious. And oh so cheesy ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
♥ Pepperoni pizza: Nothing much to say, thin crust, the meat was tender & of course cheesy. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
♥ Italian Chicken Pizza: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
♥ Chicken Alfredo Pasta: The perfect amount of cheese, pasta cooking to perfection. Loved this. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
♥ Chicken Primavera Pasta: I was already so full with all the other things we had, just had a taste, which was okayish. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
♥ Churros: Was really looking forward to this one, and didn't disappoint at all. Served with chocolate & caramel dips, this was recently started, and safe to say they nailed it. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐✔
♥ Walnut brownie: I have to say, these brownies were my favourite from here. They were soft, right amount of sweetness. Simply loved this. Must have. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐✔

Overall, it's a small place to come with friends. The desserts are a must have along with the pasta.

Mama Mia Italia! Happened to visit this place on a Saturday afternoon.
Oh gosh! What a perfect day, perfect place and perfect food. Lil hard to locate as it is in the basement, but I would recommend you search for the board and make a way downstairs to have a wonderful experience.
I always heard great reviews about the place, and now I know they were not fake at all. The ambiance is simple and good. Very clean. Beena makes sure that the restaurant looks tidy all the time.
Coming to food. I donnow how to explain the experience in words. If I have to explain it in a word. I would say divine.
Each and every dish that was served was perfect. The pizzas you get here are amazing, and they are fire cooked, so that adds more flavours and aroma to it. The cheese, veggies and meat used for pizza smelled fresh. So yeah extra points for that. If you wanna taste best lasgna in Secunderabad, please pay a visit.
The beeeeessstttt bruchetta ! So so so good. The bread was soft, so cheesy and the topping was yumm.
Perfect white sauce pasta I must say. Just the way I like.
Coming to desserts, the best naked cake that I ever tasted. The lemon drizzle cake is something you shouldn't miss. The brownies were amazing too.
Special mention to the churros, mama Mia Italia is the only place in Secunderabad serving authentic in house made churros and they are next to perfection.
Overall a great experience. I'm surely gonna keep visiting this place for food and also for the super hospitality that I received. Beena and Shashtry you guys are an amazing host. Cheers!

Mama Mia Italia, one of the best place in Sainikpuri to enjoy Italian food. A small and cute place with few tables. What's best about this place is the pizzas are made in fire wood oven.
Started with thick shakes, Mango and Brownie shake! Both were amazing, Brownie was the best one.
Italian Chicken Bruschetta: Good amount of cheese on topping, The chicken was Very Flavourful. Well baked!
Veg lasagna: The house speciality, This was Freaking good. Cheesy and great Vegetables on the layers of lasagna. Properly baked and Tasted amazing.
The garlic breads here are probably the best in this area! Highly recommended.
Margherita Pizza: Classic, cheesy and pizza sauce was Tangy. The base is made in house, it was perfect and delicious. Loved it.
Italian Chicken Pizza: The toppings were excellent, chicken, onions and Bell peppers. Amount of cheese also was good. Great flavours and cheesy!
Pastas:
Penne Alfredo: Penne was boiled perfectly, chicken was soft and tender. I found the sauce very thick, still tasted good.
Primavera Medium spicy Pink: A Mix of white and Red sauce, Absolutely delicious. This has to be the best pasta I've had in recent times. And again, the garlic breads were yumm!
Now the most surprising part today was they had Churros for desserts, Yes you heard it right. Currently it's the only place in Secunderabad to serve you the Best churros.
These were long, Freshly made, dusted with Sugar and Cinnamon Powder, served with caramel and Chocolate dip. Definitely one of the best churros. Me and friends ended up ordering 4 times, coz it was damn amazing.
But hey, they do have Brownies too. In house brownies with an different taste, What's unique is that the brownies are made with Jaggery, and walnuts added on topping. Soft, hot and goeey. Served us right from the Oven. The best brownies till date.
Lemon Drizzle Cake: The best naked cake I've ever had. Perfectly baked, Lemon zest and juice added in the cake. The outer layer was crisp, Aromatic and amazing. Really loved this, a Unique one!
Some freshly brewed coffees are good to end the day! Cappuccino here was amazing.
Overall it's a good place with delicious food, though it's a small place. The pizzas here are good, bruschetta and Pastas as well. Lasagna tasted amazing, just found the layers a but thick.
Desserts were my favourite part here. Don't forget to try the churros here! The staff was very friendly, Service was quick too!
Mamma Mia itila is absolutely great place to have pizza, there garlic bread is really good. Flavour and aroma of garlic can be felt. Mamma mia itila veg spl pizza is also good. A definite place to vist for pizza lovers

We love italian food, and were desperately looking for an Italian restautant in Hyderabad, which would offer us authentic italian food. we found reviews on a restaurant in one of the foodies groups on facebook, and thought it would be worth a try, trust me, the taste of the food here was so yummy , and it reminded us of our fond memories with some of the top italian restaurants abroad. The veggies on the pizza were very crunchy and yummy, the pasta was very tasty, and of course , the garlic bread which our 2 year old son loved 😋 we would definitely recommend to visit this restaurant if you are an Italian food lover ☺️

Was invited to Mama Mia Italia (Sainikpuri) to taste their Italian cuisine, so here's my review of the restaurant.
Caveat - My take on their food is limited to vegetarian offerings only.
Ambience: When you enter the restaurant you realise that its a small but a cute setup, with a capacity to accommodate 10-12 ppl.
Items served:
Milk Shakes: There were 2 options, Alphonso mango and Chocolate brownie. Being a chocolate lover, I went for the later and it was exactly how I like, thick and creamy with generous amount of brownie. In short I liked it.
Pizzas: The USP of this restaurant is they use wood fired oven, which is the authentic way of making pizzas and the owner told us that they use mix of cheddar and mozzarella cheese in the preparation. I tried the paneer special pizza and it was yum.
Bruschettas: Another amazing item of the menu. The bread was freshly baked with garlic infused and all the fresh toppings, along with olive oil, just created magic.
Lemon cakes: For me the show stopper, it was soft, fluffy and just melt in mouth. Also came to know from the owner that they use Brazilian lemon in this cake preparation. A must try at this place.
Brownies: They were soft, chocolatey, gooey and instead of refined flour(maida) they use whole wheat to make brownies.
They have recently added Churros with chocolate and caramel dip which was quite good too
Gist: Anyone looking for authentic and yummy Italian food, should definitely give this place a try. A big thumbs up from my side.
Special mention of Mr Sastry , who is the owner of this place, very nice and humble gentleman and he is passionately running this venture along with his wife. He was there himself to take care of all the food that was served to us and was explaining each item.
The best Italian place visited so far.. every item served on there menu was next to heaven.. Brochettes were amazing, pizzas were the best n special mention for there lemon cake n brownies.. value for money..

A very cute and cosy place ...with a decent menu!
We started with tomato onion bruschetta which was WOW! ..the crust was absolute crisp and the veggies were fresh!
Next we touched the main course with pasta which was served with garlic bread - another very good dish! The garlic bread was delicious!!
Next comes the lasagna: very well baked and layered perfectly!
We were excited to taste the desert Panna cotta was served and we loved the chocolate more than vanilla even though both were good!
Chocolate was soft as feather in the mouth!
This is a must to get your palate satisfied! Must try place!
Have ordered Cheese garlic bread for my kids. Taste is amazing and my kids love eating it. Toast is crispy with right mix of garlic and cheese.

Zomatoed farm feast pizza with wheat base and chocolate Panna cotta after reading good reviews of these two and they both lived upto the high rating.
Pizza with thin crust and generous veggies and cheese is a pizza lovers delight.
Chocolate dessert, unlike the usual ones is not high on sweet quotient and is a good mellowed down version of a choco cake.
See myself ordering many other things from this place in future.
Everything is good but only thing need to change size of paneer topping and taste of the sauce should be improved and base should be little crispy

Mama Mia Italia needs no introduction for the people who stay in secunderabad sainkpuri area. There are many pizza selling outlets in this area but none who bakes pizzas in authentic wood burn oven where the hand made base and pizza sauce prepared in wood burn oven.
Mama Mia has now launched Spanish churros which are pure veg , crispy and had good cinnamon dusting. It is served with caramel or chocolate dip as per customers choice.
Mama Mia now expanding it's offerings to milk shakes , brownies, cakes, and panna cottas.
My group of 4 friends wanted to visit this place and taste some good varities of pizzas both veg and non veg variations we ordered panner pizza, peri Peri chiken pizza, mama Mia special pizza. All variations we're perfectly baked will good amount of quality toppings , mix of mozerrela and cheder cheese. The cheese garlic bread was perfect.
We also tasted whole wheat chocolate walnut brownies , decent portion size with reasonable pricing. Panna cotta are the speciality of Mama Mia and seasons special Alphonso pannacota was in demand so had that it was perfectly set and topped with Alphonso puree . It was amazing.
Milkshakes we're new entrants hence ordered alphonso milkshakes, brownie milkshake, Nutella milkshake and KitKat.
The milkshake base was amul icecream, the taste was good. We felt the Nutella milk shake was light in taste and we informed management.
The evening ended with in house baked victoria sponge cake( needs little improvement) and amazing lemon cake it was awesome and very refreshing.
I would like to shout out for the quality of ingredients used and a well maintained outlet with great customer service.
Overall I recommend my friends and followers to visit this place and enjoy your time

This place can accomodate around 16 to 20 pax at one go.
Its located in the cellar nearby to 5th avenue bakery and has a good menu to choose from.
Pizza, pasta .milk shakes snd some in house confectionary too.
We had chicken peri peri pizza it was well made to perfection with good topping ..chicken tasted good.hi 5 for this.
Mama mia spl pizza has assortments of veggis with chicken.and it was pretty good in taste.
Paneer pizza was quite good in taste.i liked this one ..
Garlic bread was again a good choice.
For shakes we had
Brownie shake..my best till date.
Kit kat shake.again a good one.
Mango milk shake not upto my liking..
Lemon sprinkle cake was the top pic for my visit.
Mango pannacotta was again a good option.
Choco Brownie went well too.
Also tried some other cake and almost everthing in menu was nice in taste and at a resonable price.

This has become one of my favorites for wooden fried and whole wheat base pizza like no other in the city. Toppings are really fresh and the pizza is delicious. I have tried almost all pizzas in their menu. Every time I order , I feel it’s home cooked :). Thank you so much for the lovely taste.

Its a nice cozy place. I really enjoy the pasta they serve here. The service is a bit slow, but the wait is worth it. The Walnut Chocolate Brownie, a must try.

Homely, would be the most accurate adjective for this small place, that serves up some above average tasting Italian.
By small, I mean quite small. It's located in a basement that has been converted into a very minimalistic and clean looking seating area, with 6 tables and capacity for about 40. Nothing but a few wall lamps and quote photo frames to add to the decor. 💡
Their menu had quite a lot of options, out of which we had:
🍕 MARGHERITA (349/10"/8) - Classic. Need I say anymore? The margherita here is their speciality. It was made quite well, however I felt it could have taken more cheese and sauce. Garnished with fresh basil leaves. Would've liked the basil shredded instead of whole. Anyways, this was my favorite item here. 😌❤️
🍕 VEGGIE DELIGHT (399/10"/8) - Onions, tomatoes, corn and tons of Capsicum. The pizza lacked any taste whatsoever, while also falling short on cheese. 👎🏻
🍕 RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS (429/10"/8) - This was supposed to be extra spicy, with chilli flakes, jalapeno. Again, I felt it to be bland and just overloaded with capsicum. 👎🏻
🍕 PERI PERI CHICKEN (509/10"/8) - The usual chicken pizza, with a moderate topping of mildly spiced chicken chunks, some veggies and again, just too much capsicum. Overall, it tasted bland too, lacking cheese and sauce. 👎🏻
All the pizzas had one thing in common. The doughy and dry pizza base. The sparse amount of bland pizza sauce and cheese also doesn't help the palate. They make the base in house, and wood fire the pizza. This mix really needs some tweaking. 🙁
Another thing was the capsicum, which was just too much. Couldn't taste anything else but the capsicum, that was giving a good crunch, but a very strong taste too. I hope this feedback will be worked upon. 😌
Next, came some above average tasting pastas. I'm not a pasta person, so maybe I'm hard on this category. We had:
🍝 PRIMAVERA (299) - Penne in a bland pink sauce. Needed more sauce, vegetables and less pasta. Chicken was hardly present. 👎🏻
🍝 ALFREDO (299) - Again, absolutely bland. Wasn't creamy either. Lack of vegetables made me feel as if I was freeloading on a big bowl of carbs. Please improve. 👎🏻
We had some milkshakes to go along with the meal:
🍹 WALNUT BROWNIE (140) - Chunky and thick. Tasted good, a bit too sweet.
🍹 MANGO (120) - Creamy and smooth. Needed more Mango flavor and less sugar.
🍹 STRAWBERRY (120) - Had a slight vanilla essence to it, but the same taste and texture as the previous. ❤️
We also had some of their home baked cakes:
🍰 LEMON DRIZZLE - Standard soft vanilla cake. With a mild lemon aftertaste and aroma. The edges were crusted with a stronger more tart taste.
🍰 CHOCOLATE CAKE - It was alright, felt dry, tasted just like an ordinary chocolate cake would.
🍰 PLUM CAKE - Now this was something. Very very strong flavors of rum, all-spice mix, cinnamon and lots of nuts and dry fruits. Perfect finish to our meal. 😍😋
After having quite a bit of their Italian menu, I can say I'm pretty disappointed, the authentic wood fired is just a gimmick, and the items are bland for the most part. The pizzas tasted very Indianized, and not for the better.
I wouldn't have been so nitpicky if the items costed half of what they do. Medium pizzas for 500? I thought Dominos was expensive! At least they got their taste going for them. 😟
I hope the feedback is taken constructively and improvements as suggested are made. As of right now, for me, this place just doesn't justify the 4.3/5 rating. 😔

The best food ever! It’s a hidden gem. Delicious and they don’t hold back with the toppings like dominos or Pizza Hut. Friendly staff and the owner is warm and welcoming. Must visit if you are in Sainikpuri. Keep up the great service and food. 😋
Awesome pizza, thin crust and yummy taste, economical too. Better then any other corporate chains out there, I heard they cook there pizza in mud furnace like they do in italy I guess that's what gives it that special taste. Cheers

Everything tastes phenomenal! You won't regret it. The pepperoni pizza is divine. The lasagna is practically perfect. And the cheese bread was so tasty! I wish I could eat here everyday. 😍
My husband and I love this place. They have great, authentic Italian style pizza, much like what I miss from America. We like the grilled chicken pizza but with mushrooms instead of the capsicum. So good. We also like the cheese garlic bread. The desserts are a must have too! The best is the chocolate cake, but the panna cotta and walnut brownie are also good. For the quality of food the prices are good too. The owners are super friendly!
Awesome place for awesome pizzas. Haven't tried the pastas yet, but most definitely will. Their bruschetta too. I completely loved the Mama Mia Special. And the Classic, Pepperoni. One bite of their food, and your system goes "Mama Mia!!"

It was a very happy feeling to see the familiar board- Mama Mia Italia where it used to stand 4-5 years ago... The ambience and conversations with Shastry uncle are some of the best things I cherish along with their pizzas and his wife's delicious Panacotta. We got the Pepperoni pizza and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers... Both made to perfection. Chocolate Panacotta is a personal favourite although the vanilla one was a delicious choice nevertheless :)

One of the best places to have Italian food in Secunderabad and the margherita Pizza here is phenomenal. Moreover the Vanilla Panna Cotta is absolutely to die for. I recommend this place for all those people who want to have some wholesome Italian meal. I can't wait for their Hot Chocolate.
Please add butter paper under the pizza while packing as the pizza was stuck to the cardboard box.
A little more quantity for the price is warranted. Taste better than domino or pizza hut. Keep the taste part up. Increase quantity of cheese and toppings.

This is one of the best Italian restaurant. The prices are okay.The ambiance is good and so the food.The service can be improved a little. The best thing is the English songs which they play there.The taste of pizza is a bit disappointing but the pasta and garlic bread sticks are good.

So after reading a lot of reviews about this place, reached Mamma Mia Italia after a lot of travelling and Google Map's help. It's a small cosy place with limited number of tables.
My experience was a li'l bit disappointing. Actually not too good, not too bad. I might say average. Going through all the good reviews, I don't feel it stood up to its name (this being my personal experience and opinion).
Had ordered Cheese Garlic Bread, Mama Mia Italia Special Veg pizza and Arabiatta Pasta.
Cheese Garlic Bread was the best. Perfectly made, Cheese on the top complementing it to the best. It should be on your order by default.
Pasta Arabiatta was just okay. Too much of tomato. Could have been better.
Coming to Pizza, Mama Mia special Veg pizza was what we ordered. Had fresh topping of Mushroom, red and yellow bell peppers, Jalapeño, Olives etc. Thin crust pizza, prepared in the traditional Italian wood fired oven. Though the toppings were fresh, the Pizza base lacked the sauce. May be they can add some combination of sauces to enhance the taste. Other than the veggies, there wasn't much in the pizza.
Overall experience- can be visited a couple of times to experience the exotic Italian wood fired pizzas.
Guy's a must try place this restaurant serves a good quality of pizza which have an outstanding taste if you go to sanikpuri you should not miss this place .
