One of the best places in secunderabad area for telugu home foods, either sweets or hot!
Quality of any sweet in this shop is comparable with any other sweet shop in the city! We've been regular customers since years now for a casual snack or to distribute within relatives, etc. and there's never a compromise on quality.

Located right opposite the Padmarao Nagar park this is like a Swagruha sweet shop selling traditional sweets and savories. Very easy to locate as its on the mainroad right opposite the Padmarao nagar Park.
They have 3 branches, one near Musheerabad X'roads one opposite Care Musheerabad hospital and one this.

Have tried the Pootharekulu( Bellam and Sugar) which are priced at 15 per piece and it turned out to be decent, after trying the Emerald Sweet house Pootharekulu this was an average fare. Was craving for Mysore Pak the other day and wanted to try this place as they have the soft melt-in-mouth kind of mysore pak and not the hard ones and it turned out to be decent and after a 7 seconds of microwaving it turned out to be awesome. The best thing to try here was the Boondi ladoo..turned out to be very good. It probably is the fastest selling item here and hence is always fresh.

Also tried the chikodi which was good and crispy. The guy at the counter was enthusiastic and very respectful which makes buying even more pleasant :)

They did not have kova kajjikayalu which is one of the first things I crave for in a sweet shop like this. Overall, not a bad place to stop for some quick sweet shopping, not too many varieties but you get everything you need for a snacking from ariselu to kajji kayalu to savories . The Mysore Pak was priced at 440Rs a Kg to give you an estimate of the price range.

They have started selling Curries, sambar and pickles too which are made in Bhoiguda and is available from 6:30PM.
Things to try:
Boondi Ladoo, Raagi Ladoo , Pootharekulu, chikodis.

P.s: Unable to upload pics from the Zomato app, hopefully the problem is corrected.

We had given a bulk order here for a wedding.. Laddus, Ariselu, Chalimedi, Chakinaalu, Mysore pak among others.. But my favorite among them were the bellam pootharekulu( can't translate that into English!) they turned out awesome. Its very close to my parents home, which is a plus..
