The staff was very very cooperative and helpful. The veg options were too good as well as the service was quick. In non veg, we ordered chicken lasagna and chicken pizza, both were a bit sweet than its typical taste and it was taking a while for them to serve the non veg dishes. While the veg dishes such as loaded nachos, crispy chilli noodles, spaghetti penne pasta and two chocolate shakes were too good.
There was a staff named Rakesh Bhaiya, he was too sweet to us. We were in Shimla for almost 4 days and we went to central thrice in that time span just because his behaviour towards us was too sweet and he took great care of us. We were a group of 10 people and looked out for all 10 of us.
All in all it was a worthy 4/5.

Food taste is top notch, bhatti da murg must try. Food quality to price ratio is amazing. Must visit when in shimla. Mutton items like rara and rogan josh are also a must try.
Great place. Lounge like feeling. You may miss the place as it's on the first floor, and a narrow staircase leading upstairs. A bit cramped but they have made the best use of the space available.
Free wifi. And each table seats 6. There are grand blue sofas along the wall, fun quotes on the walls, quaint look and feel, great music (I heard strains of Eurythamics and Uriah Heep).
Clean place (you can visit the restroom also...and not be squeamish as its clean).
The menu is on a hard placard and the cuisine is Indian, continental and Chinese.
We ordered grilled chicken sandwich, haka noodles and king Pao chicken, naan and chicken 'Rada'.
Special call out to the chicken rada, its diced chicken with chicken mince in mildly spicy red gravy. It was the first time that I had this local dish and it was lovely.
So if you are in the area and famished I highly reccomend this place.
Portion size, 1 dish can easily feed 2.
This place reminds me of "Friends" tv show. They serve the best food and there are many good variety of food items. I love this place and the servicing is quite good.
Good North Indian food. Ordered Dal Makhni, Mushroom masala and Rotis.
Dal Makhni with the desi ghee tadka tasted very nice. It was quite different and refreshing from the normal cream and butter Dal served at most restaurants.
One must go for mushrooms if you are in this part of the world. You will get big fresh mushrooms not found easily in the plains. Again nicely cooked.
The right blend of spices was the best thing about the food.

45 The Central is a multicusine restaurant in Shimla, located in Mall Road. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes at an affordable rate. The dining experience here is further enhanced by the stunning ambience and the wonderful hospitality and service.
Winters in Shimla are pretty cold and anybody would prefer something hot and spicy. The Bon-fire wings proved to be the right choice. The chicken was soft and simply melted in my mouth. It was very well grilled and the flavour was truly amazing. I also loved the Sole Fish Sizzler which was cooked to perfection.
Another interesting dish I had here were the Hot Mocktails - Spiced Apple Cider and Mulled POM Citrus. They were indeed innovative and were perfect for the weather.
In the main course, I loved the combination of Garlic Naan with the soft Mutton Rara. It was amazing.
For desserts, I had brownie with ice cream and Gulabjamun with Ice cream. They were very delicious.
The place has a very good ambience. Quiet and cozy place. The food tastes great. We had chilly cheese paneer, dal bhati(black dal), pindi chole. Everything was good. Especially dal is a must try. Payment mode only cash.

For my weekend getaway, I had Shimla as my shortlisted destination from Delhi. The trip lasted one night 2 days but what felt everlasting was my lunch at 45 The Central. I reached shimla all tired and clueless. Many people who had come back from previous weekend trip had recommended this restaurant. So without thinking much, this restaurant was my first halt in Shimla. And i could not be any less smittend by the food, ambience and hospitality!!!!!
The place felt so cozy and had an old world charm in it's architecture. While the ambience already made me feel a lot rested, the chef's special Bonfire chicken wings pleasured my taste buds very well. Even though my stomach felt full i still wanted to eat more so asked the staff for their star recommendation. Stuffed chicken in pepper sauce was an ideal recommendation and rejuvinated my senses.
The staff was was humble and being locals they left no stone unturned in giving me a meal and environment equal to an experience.
This was my Friday evening experience and because i felt so connected to this place. I halted for a Nutella Hot Chocolate shake next day again while taking a stroll nearby.

One of the good places in shimla to have some good food and memories. I have been here thrice and it has never disappointed me. I love having their cafe mocha and fries. The mocktails must be tried here. The ambience is really nice and it is a great place for having brunch, birthday treats etc.
We were strolling around when this place on the first floor with a tiny balcony overlooking the mall road caught our eye. We were really happy with the service and courteousness. The food was piping hot served on a small grill! malai tikka cooked to perfection! The ghar ka murg with chefs special gravy tingled our taste buds. To end the feast we had capuccino and hot chocolate. Coffee was great!
Had the stuffed chicken with pepper sauce and Nutella hot chocolate. Great flavours but everything could've been a little less sweet. Ambience is warm n cozy. Great place to come with friends and family.

Coffee is amazing and the staff is very good. This place is very peaceful and happy. You can enjoy the view of the mall while have your coffee from the first floor.
Food extremely extremely delicious. We ordered the Gilafi Seekh, the Chicken Florentine, Tikka Sabki Pasand with Naan. Everything was very very tasty and the portions were also big.

45 The Central is the perfect fine dine family restaurant in Shimla offering great quality north indian food. I had my dinner here. I tried kadhai paneer along with breads and fresh lime soda. The food is delicious. The service is upto the mark.
I recently went their and ordered butter chicken and coming from delhi,not even kidding me it was the most delicious i had in a very long time. Loved the ambience and hospitality. Definately do visit this place if you're looking for good north indian food.

The food is amazing, travelled to so many places Mumbai, Delhi, Rejasthan but never encountered such good Indian food. Very tasty, juicy meat, smokey chicken. The staff is very nice, friendly and warm, specifically Mr Rajat, and the chef is kind as well. The only concern the place is a bit small, you gotta climb to the first floor, but its in the heart of Shimla near major attractions.. In a walking city you donโt find big spaces. I absolutely recommend a lot, donโt miss it. Other restaurant with similar name nearby donโt get confused. Le 45 Central is the way to go !
We all know Himachal is a good place for scenery but the food of this hotel is very nice. Nice service.

The restaurant is located on the Mall Road. The place has moderate sitting space. The service was very prompt. We ordered chicken tender for starter, grilled chicken pizza and stuffed chicken with pepper sauce for main course. The food was very tasty though was a bit on the sweeter side. Staff were very polite and attentive.

Really loved this place. You guys can visit here with friends, family and have a really good time and enjoy the place. The food served here is absolutely amazing. You guys should must try their soya chap, kofta which are my favourite ones. Absolutely recommend.

They had a cozy little set up which was very good. I was greeted very warmly by the staff. Ordered their famous roghan josh mutton and lacha prantha. It was literally outstanding. The staff named Sanjay tend to me personally and took constant feedback on food. Looking forward to visiting again.
