One of the most popular local Chinese place that has been serving some really delicious food for more than 35years.
They have kept the taste as authentic as possible with giving a touch of Indian flavours.
You can try anything of their menu and you won’t regret.
The dishes that I recommend would be Singaporean noodles, chicken momos (fried & streamed) and Thukpa.
So this place serves you good chineese food.
If you like dimdums n soup, this place is a must stop by on your trip to shimla.
The place is cute, small and cozy and is much famous as I found in several lists. So primarily I was here for momos nut read that the noodles are good too. So we ordered Chicken momos and Singapoori noodles.
The momos were actually among the best chiocken momos I ever had, 5/5 for that, a must have. Though the noodles were not good, just much average, not recommended they were like 3/5.
So do try them for the momos, and do tell me how do you like it.
Happy Eating :)
An age old eatery serving the best Triple Treasure, Gravy Noodles and Chicken momos.
This place belongs to a third generation Chinese family who have adapted to the Indian fusion beautifully.
Love this place.
Aunty's in Middle Road, Shimla is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious and authentic Chinese food. The restaurant is small and unassuming, but the food is simply outstanding.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aunty's and I was blown away by the quality of the food. I started with the chicken momos, which were perfectly steamed and filled with juicy chicken and spices. For my main course, I had the chilli chicken, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The sauce was flavorful and spicy, but not overpowering. I also tried the chow mein, which was cooked to perfection with al dente noodles and fresh vegetables.
Overall, I highly recommend Aunty's to anyone looking for delicious and authentic Chinese food in Shimla. The food is simply outstanding, the service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable.
If you are a tibetian food lover then you should definately go this place.
They serve good food but their chicken is not so fresh.
Aunty's Chinese Food is a small old indo-chinese food joint located in Middle Bazar in Shimla. The location could be a bit tricky to find, but locals are helpful and so is Google maps.
I ordered a plate of Veg Momo, Veg Fried Momo and Veg Chowmein. The portions are good enough for 2 people and the momo tasted simple, hearty and delicious. The fried momo were exceptional for me as anything fried just tastes even better ! However the Chowmein was not cooked properly and the noodles were chewy due to not being boiled properly. However upon request, the server was kind enough to get it replaced but i couldn't notice much difference. One more thing I personally like was the availability of soft drinks in glass bottles, a thing of nostalgia for sure.
The price point is quite economical and a good meal can be enjoyed under 500 rupees. The space is tiny, has 5 tables and sometimes there is a waiting line due to lack of space.
Overall a good old spot in Shimla that too on the Mall road. Simple, cheap and filling. Definitely can be tried while visiting Shimla.

Lovely food but tiny tiny place so that wait for a seat is quite long. We had the fried and steamed veg monos and the egg chopsuey and all of it was lovely.
Small place to try out Chinese food. We tried momos here. It was good, good filling and thin covering. You’ll get veg momos and chicken ones. Paneer momos is not listed 😅
Noticed repeat customers here. Hence can vouch for the quality of other dishes.
Ordered chicken thukpa. Soul food. 100% recommend
One of the finest little places to enjoy some Indo-Chinese cuisines in Shimla. Prices are decent and food is also good enough. Don't visit at peak hours as there's waiting for the 4-5 tables that they have in the name of seating.

One of the authentic Chinese and Tibetan foods one can have here. Food here is amazing and delicious.
It's a tiny hole in the wall kind of a place with 4-5 tables. Liked the chicken steamed momos and Lo mein.
This place is a hidden paradise on the shimla mall road. The food is so good and tasty. So affordable😍 Do try their authentic momos and noodle soup.
Omg 😍second best place after Mcleodganj where I had the best thupka... Thupka with dumplings were amazing .. veg or non veg momos were fine specially the fried one .. both steamed or fried were little dry .. noodles served with gravy was more like manchurian gravy with noodles... Would recommended everyone to visit this place once if you visiting Shimla.. its nearby police station in the main market ...
Visited the place again and had the same experience... Fried momos were much better this time
This place is pretty famous in shimla for tibetan & chinese food, Chicken Fried Momos is must try along with various chowmein's.
You may go for thukpa which is good too , loved the cute cozy place , you may navigate yourself there with help of google maps as its in between streets
Are you solo travelling Shimla and looking for fast food options for reasonable price? Look no more and pay a visit to Aunty's! It's in the middle bazar area so you have to go down stairs a bit(look for my pic where I showed the alley through which you have to go down, the board ChinaTown will be visible from road) . Cozy place, prices are reasonable and served hot. One downside is capacity: not very large. Max 12-15. So it gets crowded when large groups come in. Else this is one of the good locations to try chinese fast food.
Went to this place with my husband. I have tried the momos of this place. I didn't find the momos to be exceptionally good as people have described in their reviews but we tried their chicken gravy noodles and they definitely were very good. Loved it. A very small place with flavourful food and the prices are very reasonable.
We used to come here wherever we travelled to Shimla, this place has always been there : )
Be prepared to wait for 15/20 mins during peak hrs.
4/5 for food and nostalgia.
Momos and soup are good to have.
Great place for Chinese and Tibetan food lovers. Preparation is really amazing and the place very pocket friendly. Serves great Thukpa which is a Tibetan noodle soup, also varieties of momos, soups, noodles, rice dishes. Must try if you wanna have good food for less.
Best Chinese food available here. Different varieties of veg and non veg both. Seating area is small. But quality and taste of food is very nice.
