Its nice to have a breakfast , brunch or lunch it sevee good bengali food with nice cleanliness around with affordable prices and ranges from chicken to fish to mutton
If you are looking for authentic bengali food, super spicy food then this restaurant is the best option though few items are a bit over rated but no compromise with quality as well as quantity
The best "potol recipe" I've ever had in my life. Food quality and serving is great, if you are looking for a place to wrap up your lunch with rice and all, you can definitely check out this place.
Mainly for the non-vegetarian people.
Multiple options dishes
Little bit costly and all the food items are chargeable not complementary.
Overall it's nice to have your favourite fish or nonveg foods.
Fish thali n chicken thali was very good. 👍👍👍
Food is awesome. We ordered three Veg Thai for lunch, which is lovely.
I dont think its a lodge but its a hotel where we get varieties of fishes and mutton and also it's tasty.
Good food..fish dishes worth trying..parking a bit of a problem if you take private vehicles..
I dont know when last i had such a tasty meal in a hotel, awesome taste quality and quantity is superb, please visit at least once to taste the bengali food.please dont follow the haters enjoy great food friendly staffs and a peaceful meal. Thanks for such a treat.
One of the best authentic Bengali food destinations in North Bengal situated at the heart of Siliguri Town at Panitanki More by the Sevok Road. While going to Gangtok or Kalimpong or returning from the same towards njp, one can have a stop here to enjoy the lunch which offers lip smacking original Bengali cuisines. The ambience is cool and cosy and help you feel at home. This is a pice hotel, so one can have separate non veg items like chittal fish, jumbo prawn, Hilsa, Rohi, Katla, Boroli etc. Thalli systems are also available. We have tasted small katol thali where fish size was really impressive. You can have the larger version as well. The side veg items are also extremely delicious though a bit more oily. I liked the potol curry recipe with sorshe posto. The katla fish recipe was too good which was made with raisins and cashews. The fishes are collected from Farakka, Teesta and Bihar which are very fresh and that's why tasty. The misty doi is also very famous and is from Gangarampur. The food is served in very less lead time and on bronze plates which adds to its authenticity in Bengali cuisines. The staff members' behaviours were also good and welcoming.
Good quality clean and hygienic food. A bit higher side on the price. Recommended.
If you want to venture into quintessential Bengali non-vegetarian recipes that have evolved over centuries, this is the place for you. Cool & Cosy dining arrangements will make you feel at home. Both Quality & quantity of the offerings are quite satisfactory. For a food explorer, one must try Chital curry ( jumbo sized Chital fish cooked in moderately spiced gravy) , Aar-shorshe /Pabda shorshe (fish cooked in thick mustard gravy) or any prawn dish. A variety of 'Thaali' (platters) are also available. Hilsa- the 'King of Fish' appears in its different avataars too. One can also savour the delicacies like Muri- ghonto, Maacher dimer bora (fritters of fish's eggs) as delectable accompaniment.
A place to enjoy the taste of Bengal surely.
Food is good but it's bit costly. Approximately 900-1000 for 2 heads...
Every item is charged separately... Not thali system.
They serve you authentic, lip-smacking Bengali dishes. The ambience is very good & hygiene standards are well maintained
Taste was very good...with good service...price were bit high...best wishes for future....I m satisfied...
My best friends showed me the place, its just heaven for taste buds. Visiting Siliguri or you are already in Siliguri, you gotta eat here. There is no excuse. Its just out of the world.
