Great property with amazing views. Went there to have some italian food and were not disappointed. Delicious food. Baked bread basket was also good.
During our stay at the property, we dined here twice. The restaurant has exquisite dishes bringing out the best Italian flavors. Brodo di pollo and puttanesca pasta are some of the best dishes we tried here. Apart from the food, the service here is very personalized and courteous. Special mention to Mr. Vincent who makes sure to help you with menu and suggest best of the cuisine. We were also provided complimentary desserts on our second dining at the restaurant. Desserts deserve a special mention,panacotta being one of the best ones. Definitely one of the finest restaurants at Taj Aguada.

Had breakfast buffet here. I expected a lavish spread but that wasn't the case. Taste was good but expected better from Taj but ofcourse nothing was bad here. But may not visit again for breakfast. Will try the other meals though.
Dining atop a fort in the luxury of a class setting with unparalleled opulence is the best way to describe this meal. Attentive staff, attention to detail and the pampering Taj is known for. A must try at this iconic establishment should be on everyone's 'to do' list.

They even gave us to try out a dish called Amuse Bouche which was very interesting dish, it had a different kind of cheese with humus and all of this wrapped in thin slice of cucumber, sprinkled over which was a little sour cream and some pepper. Truly very amazing dish!!! The taste of these few dishes will forever stay on my taste buds and the memory of having spent a great time will stay forver in my mind.

Had a very lovely dinner here today . Had ordered a set menu . You get a choice of beverage, followed by a salad , soup and the main course which has multiple options like a pizza , risotto, pasta and chicken and fish based dinner . Then followed by the desert which is a cassata or an ice cream of your choice. The food was served perfect and loved the time they took to get each course.The icing of the cake was I got to eat my dinner by the pool and there was a band performing live.
Was here yesterday. Ordered the Quattro Formaggi pizza and a Virgin Mojito. The pizza was superb with the four cheeses. Virgin Mojito too was excellent, just the perfect taste and flavour. The hospitality and the staff here is outstanding. Just awesome overall and I've loved each bit here so far! Kudos!👍

Went here for dinner while staying at the hotel. Chose the 4 course set menu which is good value for money - all dishes were done very well. The vegetable risotto was lightly spiced. Our server Vincent was extremely polite and even arranged for a Konkani song to be played. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a romantic dinner.
It was day before scheduled departure to back home from holidaying. For me this was nostalgic visit . I had exactly 31 years back a beautiful pool side candle light dinner .
It was a dry day for some local elections. I was in no mood . This place is beautiful by taj & needs renovation. But still for me it was nostalgic to see same things kept lovely years after years.

First visited this place in 2014 and have been dreaming of coming back. We finally got to this year, and the place does not disappoint. The bread basket provided is sinful and we overdose on the freshly made, hot breads before the meal even begins. The soups are earthy and flavorful. The risotto was great and the pizza is a treat. Well if you guys agree, it's darn easy to be a critic and review a place and the food that they serve. It just takes some fifteen odd minutes to pen down our thoughts and wallah, the review is published.
But do we ever think of a scenario where everything is perfect but the dish that you ordered for just doesn't seem to be the one you would love to savour..? Well as a matter of fact little we can ever imagine the effort and the perseverance that has been put behind preparing that dish you ordered for and presenting it at your table. It's difficult to fathom sometimes how exactly the chef knows what we want. What flavours suit us. It's simply ingenious of him/her to prepare something for a total stranger and almost every time the stranger seems to like the preparation. It's simply wonderful.
Well a similar experience I had at this magnificent restaurant. My dad having stayed at this Taj Hotel almost 3 decades back wanted me and my brother to experience what he had felt when he was young. Well he is still young today and believe me he beats the hell out of me when it comes to stamina.
We entered and ordered for the four course meal. As it was a dry day due to elections, liquor could not be served. So we ordered for virgin pinacoladas. There were tiny pieces of fresh pineapple that came in through each sip. It was awesome. To our surprise we were served with some complimentary breads freshly baked and hot. Ahh the soft breads just melted in our mouth.
Then we ordered for the salad and soup. The dressings on the salad were impeccable, accompanied with the crispness of fresh vegetables and croutons in some bites. The soup was delicious, we had the Tomato Basil soup, it should have been a little more tangy though. But anywho worth having.
For the mains we ordered for a Pizza, Risotto and Chicken with balsamic vinegar, accompanied with yes more fresh baked bread. They just kept coming, fresh and warm. The pizza was thin crust generously topped with cheese and toppings selected off the menu. Risotto was good, finally my dad enjoyed some Italian food. Yay. And the chicken was made as per my brothers taste.
Last but not the least we had the desert. We went with the cassata and Mango Icecream. While my dad happily enjoyed his mango Icecream, me and my brother merrily munched on the Cassata.
It was simply a wonderful treat.
You might find my review a little bit long and a little personal as well. Hmm it was meant to be this way as it's resonating a similar personal touch that I had while dining at II Camino. For a while I remembered my childhood sitting at the table. The experience is beyond me to describe.
Well that sums it all folks. Do visit this place. The staff is so courteous they make you feel at home.

Our visit to IL Camino was pleasant and memorable.
It was my wife's birthday and I had pored over Italian delicacies in advance to make sure we order the best dishes for her birthday dinner here.
And this place seemed perfect. Though not much of a fancy setting, given that it's housed within Taj Vivanta, but the food and service is definitely their plus point.
The Jack Daniels Long Island Iced Tea was both refreshing and addictive ;)
We started off with Chicken Caesar Insalata with Parmesan cheese ... There were cheese sheets (pretty neat squares) instead of shavings or cubes.. barring the Spinach and the slight bitter taste that it lent to the salad, the dish was yummy. I may have had cheese-ier Caesar salads elsewhere but this was indulgent. Next up was the legendary Spaghetti Carbonara with Pancetta and I am falling short of words to express the fantastic work of art this dish was! The pancetta bits imparted such a smoky flavour to the spaghetti..and the parmesan was generously sprinkled to work it's magic.. Mamma Mia!
Our last dish was Chicken Lasagne and I cudnt stop grinning ear to ear after stuffing a mouthful of it ;)
I wish I had ordered the one with beef...wait..I didn't even bother to check if they serve beef. Nonetheless, this was the chef's final flourish and all my compliments to him and his team.
The bread basket with Chilli Oil did get our tastebuds working. Rye, Garlic Cheese and Focaccia breads were a welcome treat but we didn't want to stuff ourselves with them and kept our appetite intact for the food. And we weren't disappointed a bit.
The music and the ambience was just right. Though there was a power failure..for a moment..abt 3-4 seconds...it all seemed romantic cos it actually felt like a candlelight dinner thanks to that wee candle burning bright on our table. The service was warm and welcoming. They were genuinely interested in serving us and that's something I shall always cherish. And then, with the compliments of the restaurant, came the birthday cake.
Yummy and sinful in equal parts, this was just the perfect end to our wonderful meal

I love this place. Awesome Italian food and amazing ambience. The pesto cream pasta was to die for and the bread platter was perfect with super fresh breads. Dessert was just the perfect end to a super perfect meal.
We went here for dinner as we were craving for some Italian food. We ordered Chicken Risotto which was creamy & delicious, Tomato sauce pasta which was ok, Non veg wood fired pizza which were hot and amazing for the main course. In dessert we had tart and cake which were heavenly. The ambience was peaceful and staff were prompt in giving service.
One of the finest Italian restaurants and what a hospitality .We have been coming to Fort Aguada almost every year and hospitality and quality of food has been so consistent. Vincent , the captain has been a great company and guide and you must enjoy his hospitality and guidance in food around the property .

What to say. The best Italian food served and the chef needs to be applauded as he tried to give his best but some of the dishes were partially cooked . May be he
needed more time to cook or may be there were less number of cooks. So we were 10 people and they were getting dishes not together but one after another so some had finished there meals were as others were waiting for the there dishes. Overall good ambience and servicing. One mark cut for the half cooked food.
A refreshing walk back in time, elevator music in the lobby, a live singer banging out those cheesy hits that make you remember the A-Team and Breakdance. But this is all good as long as it's in small doses so the one night worked. Pizza at il Camino is great Napolitano style thin and wood fired cooked so your not left feeling bloated. Sit outside with the pool view and best at night then mosey down for a beach walk and boom your nights done.

My favourite Italian place. Authentic Italian in every sense of the word. The staff is so friendly and they've got the best possible chef in Mr. Mayank. They make sure you experience a whole Italian cuisine in all manners.
We started off with a Pizza, despite being vegetarian it was hallucinatory. Baked to perfection. The Pina colada and mojito were brilliant. Ceasar salad was so juicy and nutritious, I almost wanted to order another despite hating the greens. The fish steak with Italian sauces were mouth watering.
I say never, never miss out on ordering the Tiramisu and Ciocolatta here. You'll thank me once you have.
A pure Italian Restaurant with Lip smacking and Authentic food is the perfect Defination for Il Camino . The menu justifies the Italian Genre. Right in front on the Swimming pool and Live music makes the Ambience very Special . The inner Ambience of the Hotel is Luxurious . We prefered to sit by the Pool .
Firstly , Different types of Breads to start with Sauce . Mocktails - Aguada Punch , Pineapple crush and cranberry Juice had a sharp Flavour altogether . Further , The Crisp Chicken was not so good . Pastas were creamy and delecious . Pizza being thin crust and Crispy was nice & had Decent toppings and Good taste .
Considering the Ambience and Food , Il Camino is Strongly Reccommended !
Great Italian. Not expecting much we were pleasantly surprised. The food is sophisticated and authentic. The mushroom soup is outstanding. The pizza crisp and thin with the finest mozzarella I have ever encountered in India. The tiger prawns were fresh and sublime. The desserts were not in the same league in terms of taste but was visually appealing. I am going for more.

This is the Italian fine dining restaurant in Taj Aguada Goa. The place is overlooking the pool followed by the sea. They also serve the buffet breakfast in this area.
The place has limited seating and they ask for a reservation when you come here for dinner. So suggest booking a table in advance.
We had not booked a table when we came here and it took them some 30 mins to get us a table for 6. Also they don't have many group seating options. The decor is simple with nice cutlery adorning the tables.
We had a set menu here. The minestrone soup when served was cold and we had to send all of it back to get a fresh round of the same. The soup tasted healthy and hearty. The soup was followed by the best every bacon & leafy salad I have ever had. just remembering it makes me want to go back there. Sigh!!
The salad was followed by some great pizza and creamy pastas. The spaghetti arabiatta was extremely well made.
The food is outstanding and this place is great for a romantic dinner. Food wise a 10/10 but the cold soup and the wait for table made me pull out the .5 points.

It was the check in day for our honeymoon holidays and Camino was just the perfect place to dine. It was the last day they would be serving a venetian buffet of the season. It is served during easter Saturdays for dinner. The ambience was amazing with a candle lit tables, sea breeze and live music. The ambience itself was worth the money. Coming to cuisine, the buffet included Italian food. There were some amazing salads which we had never seen in any other Italian restaurants. Main course had chicken and beef preparations. Buffet also included pizzas and pastas of choice. Overall experience at Il Camino was amazing and worth the money. I certainly recommend this venetian buffet if you visit around easter time.
We were in goa and we wanted to go someplace special for our anniversary...this place came up in our zomato search..and it was indeed the perfect place for the occasion...we absolutely loved the pastas and pizzas...the tiramisu was out of this world and the personalize chocolate cake baked on order was just the perfect finish to the meal
Out of the world experience. This restaurant is located within the Taj, Fort Aguda premises and the views of the Arabian Sea from outside this place is breath taking. Infinity pool and sumptuous Italian food ever! Tiramisu was heavenly and probably the best you will ever have, it was unlike anything I have experienced before. The four cheese pizza was equally delectable. It was my first gnocchi experience and I like it! Luxury dining at its best in Goa!
It was one of the most elevated experience of my life. Not only I had two of the best cocktails , I got an opportunity to make it myself ! Thanks to Ashfak and Amar I got such a lovely experience, really amazing guys to enjoy drinks in the bar with. Overall it’s 5/5 for value for money. Definitely try it out !
